Kidnapping Mission
Hello everyone! After months of not posting much (besides a few chapters of "I Do Redux"), I'm finally back with a new story! After Darksymphony777 reviewed the original version of this story, I've been obsessing over rewriting this fic and updating my AU again. I've done so much more research on crystals and gems than the last time. I've also watched different Youtube videos and Tik Toks on writing, read lots of articles on it, and even got Writing Fiction for Dummies for Christmas. I've also been reading more books! So if my writing is still not good after all of that, I'll cry lol. Anyways, I really hope this version will be a little better than the original. Kinda nervous about posting this LOL

"Bowser, I'm so sick of this!" Clawdia Koopa, King Bowser's wife, shouted as she stormed past her husband.
Bowser called out to her. "Clawdia, wait a second!"
Clawdia stopped in her tracks and quickly turned to face him, her cheeks flushed a little. "What?"
"All I want is to take over her kingdom." Bowser answered.
Clawdia scoffed. "Sure. That's all you wanna do."
"It is!" Bowser replied. "I promise!"
With her long, beautiful pink hair cascading behind her, Clawdia turned around. Her pink heels clacked along the floor and her gold bracelets clinked softly as she walked. Bowser followed his wife while running his fingers through his fiery red hair.
"By the way, where are the kids?" Bowser asked. "I want them to help out with the mission."
"Well, your plan's gonna have to change. They won't be helping you this time." Clawdia replied.
Bowser froze, his eyes widened. "What? Why not?"
"Because I'm going to take them out for the day!" Clawdia smiled. "After dealing with those plumbers two weeks ago, they deserve to do something fun."
Bowser and Clawdia came to a blue door after walking through another hallway. Clawdia opened it, revealing the game room, where Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings were hanging out. Larry, Roy, Morton, and Lemmy were playing video games, Wendy was fixing her makeup, Junior was coloring in his new coloring book, Iggy was watching a video on his phone, and Ludwig was reading on the couch.
"Kids?" Clawdia said, getting their attention.
Lemmy paused the game. "Mom? Do you need us?"
Clawdia smiled. "Yep! While your dad leaves to kidnap... her..." Clawdia held back a scoff. "...I wanted to take you all out for the day to do whatever you want!"
Larry grinned. "Really? Anything?"
Clawdia gave him a nod. "Anything!"
With a loud cheer, the kids dropped everything that they were doing at the moment and hurried to the doorway. Clawdia chuckled as she and Bowser stepped aside to let the children leave out of the room. As the Koopalings made their way to the front doors of the castle, Bowser and Clawdia noticed one child still in the game room.
"Junior? Aren't you coming?" Clawdia asked.
Bowser Jr. approached them and shook his head. "Nah. I wanna finish a new painting I've been working on."
Clawdia smiled and kissed her youngest child's cheek. "Alright, honey. Maybe you and I can do something together another day."
Bowser Jr. smiled. "Really? Sweet!"
Clawdia and Bowser chuckled as Junior excitedly ran to his room. Clawdia then let out a sigh.
"Well, I should meet the others outside." She glared at Bowser. "Have fun with Princess Peach."
"Clawdia..."
"See ya!" Bowser silently watched as Clawdia walked away from him.
With a groan, Bowser left the hallway to prepare for the mission.
Mario stretched and yawned as he started to wake up. It rained earlier that day and since he was a little tired, Mario decided to take a nap. Now that he was fully awake, he climbed out of bed and made his way to the living room. Luigi, his younger twin brother, was sitting on the couch, flipping through the different channels when Mario arrived. Luigi noticed him out of the corner of his eye and smiled as Mario got closer.
"Hey, bro! You're finally up!" He greeted.
"Hehe, yeah." Mario yawned again and sat down next to his brother.
As Luigi finally found a show to watch, Mario looked out of the window, seeing that it was finally sunny again.
"I'm glad the rain stopped."
"Me too. Maybe we could go out in the town and do something fun." Luigi said.
"Oh yeah! We could go to that new restaurant that opened." Mario grinned.
"Hahaha! Of course food is on your mind." Luigi laughed.
Mario smirked at his brother. "You wouldn't stop staring at it yesterday, Weeg."
Luigi reddened a little and chuckled nervously. He looked back at the tv, hoping Mario wouldn't talk about that more.
The brothers watched the tv show in silence for a few minutes. Mario and Luigi were laughing at a joke when they heard a loud explosion outside and froze. The brothers turned and looked at each other, both with furrowed brows.
"You don't think...?" Luigi trailed off.
"I don't know. Let's check it out." Mario answered.
Luigi nodded and turned off the tv. After putting on their shoes and hats, the brothers ran outside. Unfortunately, Luigi was right. All of the Toads were screaming and frantically trying to hide as Bob-Ombs fell from the sky and the Koopa Troop landed on the ground, beginning to attack. In the sky, Bowser's airship was en route to Princess Peach's castle.
"Let's go, Luigi!" Mario said as he started sprinting.
"Mario, wait!" Luigi called out as he ran after his older brother.
On their way to the castle, the Mario Brothers stomped on the Goombas and Koopa Troopas that tried to attack them. After stomping another Koopa Troopa, Mario kicked the red shell, knocking down a few Hammer Bros. As they got closer, they noticed that the airship had finally arrived at the Mushroom castle. Then the brothers heard the princess screaming, which quickened their pace. When Mario and Luigi got there, they rushed inside, stomping on two Goombas that blocked their path. After climbing up the stairs, they made it to a hallway.
Mario and Luigi dashed down the hall until they reached Peach's room. They gasped when they entered. Bowser was also inside and held the princess in his arms.
"Let me go!" Peach cried out, trying her hardest to break free of the Koopa King's grasp. Unfortunately, Bowser held the princess tighter.
"Bowser! Set the princess down right now!" Mario yelled, glaring at him.
Bowser laughed. "So long, plumbers!"
The Koopa King jumped out of the window and landed inside of his airship before Mario or Luigi could reach them. Mario ran towards the window and watched as Bowser flew away. They could hear Peach's screams getting quieter and quieter as the airship drifted farther away. Mario looked over to Luigi.
"C'mon, Lou! Let's get some power-ups!"
"Right!" Luigi followed Mario out of the castle.
Mario frowned as he saw the destroyed buildings around the Mushroom Kingdom. Suddenly, a group of Toads ran up to them and began talking to the brothers all at once. Mario and Luigi did their best to calm the Toads down.
"Everyone, don't worry! Luigi and I will bring the princess back and we'll help rebuild everything!" Mario said.
"Right! We'll save the princess in no time!" Luigi added.
Mario and Luigi made their way to a Toad House in Toad Town and bought some power-ups. Once they had enough, the brothers started their adventure.
Peach squirmed in Bowser's arms as he brought her inside of his castle. He entered his dungeon after walking through the corridors. Once inside, Bowser unlocked the door to a cell near the door to the dungeon. He hurriedly shut and locked the cell door after throwing Peach inside so she didn't have a chance to escape. Bowser smirked as he watched Peach tug at the bars of the cell, glaring at him.
"Bowser, you won't get away with this! Mario and Luigi will stop you and save me!"
"Bwahahaha! Oh, I doubt that, Peach." Bowser laughed.
"Seriously? They always stop you!" Peach replied.
"Not this time, though! I'm sure of it! You might as well get comfortable in there. You won't be leaving that cell anytime soon."
Peach pouted as Bowser left the dungeon, laughing loudly.
"Hmph! He's wrong! I know Luigi and Mario will save me!" Peach muttered to herself.
Bowser gazed off into space as he sat on his throne. Since his wife and kids (with the exception of Junior) weren't back yet, he didn't have much to do until the bros came. Bowser laughed quietly. This time, Mario and Luigi were going to fail. He knew it! As Bowser began to imagine the brothers getting defeated, a Goomba frantically ran inside the throne room.
"L-Lord Bowser! The Mario Bros. are in the kingdom!" The Goomba exclaimed.
Jumping to his feet, Bowser said, "What!? Already?!"
"Y-Yes, Your Highness! They've just arrived not too long ago." The Goomba replied, trembling slightly.
Bowser groaned, but quickly relaxed.
"It's fine. I'm gonna beat those plumbers this time and take over the Mushroom Kingdom."
"Look, bro! We're almost at the castle!" Luigi said, pointing to the large, dark castle with Bowser's face on it.
"We gotta hurry! Peach has been waiting long enough and I know she's ready to go home!" Mario replied and ran faster, throwing fireballs at a Sledge Bro. "I wonder if she tried escaping."
Luigi knocked down a group of Spinies by jumping on a Koopa Troopa, picking up its shell, and throwing it at them. The Bros. jumped through a Warp Pipe and were now even closer to the castle. After hitting a Question Block, Mario, now using a Super Star, knocked down the remaining minions outside. The Super Star power went away after a few seconds and the bros walked towards the front doors of the castle.
Mario and Luigi glanced at each other, nodded, and entered. Mario lost his fire powers after being struck by a hammer thrown by a Hammer Bro. Luigi jumped on the Hammer Bro.'s head after dodging a hammer, knocking him off the blocks he was standing on. Mario noticed a Question Block and found a Hammer Suit inside. He grabbed it and was able to throw his own hammers. He hurled hammers at several Fire Bros and a Monty Mole.
Mario and Luigi went through more Warp Pipes and fought more of Bowser's minions. Soon, they made it to the throne room. They pushed the door open and walked inside, seeing Bowser sitting on his throne.
"So, you two finally made it." Bowser smirked. "I'm surprised you got here so fast! Usually it takes you idiots a lot longer."
"Alright, Bowser. Why don't you just give us the princess and we can be on our way?" Mario said.
Bowser ignored the red clad plumber and stood up, preparing to fight.
Mario let out a sigh. "Of course..."
Bowser spat a stream of fire at the brothers, but fortunately, Mario and Luigi dodged it. The Koopa King winced as Mario threw hammers at him. Bowser slashed his sharp claws at both brothers, but Mario got out of the way just in time. Sadly, Luigi was hit and fell to the floor.
"Luigi!" Bowser spat out a fireball at Mario as he attempted to run to his brother.
Mario avoided the fireball before it could hit him. Luigi stood up carefully and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a Tanooki Leaf and smiled. Now wearing a Tanooki Suit, Luigi flew into the air and landed on Bowser's head.
"Ow!" Bowser shouted.
Mario threw more hammers at Bowser, making him retreat into his shell. After a few seconds, Bowser emerged from his shell and spat more fireballs at them. Mario was hit by one and lost his power-up. While dodging more fireballs, Mario took out a Propeller Mushroom. With the Propeller Suit, Mario flew into the air and landed on Bowser's head.
The brothers stepped to the side as Bowser slashed his claws at them again. Using their power-ups, Mario and Luigi both flew into the air once again. Luigi kicked Bowser in the face while Mario landed on Bowser's head. Bowser let out a groan and collapsed to the ground.
"Woohoo! We did it!" Luigi cheered.
"Come on, Lou! Let's go find the princess!"
Mario and Luigi left the throne room and walked through the halls of the castle, until finally arriving at the dungeon. Mario grabbed the keys hanging on the wall near the door and they walked inside. When Peach spotted her friends, she gasped and smiled.
"Mario! Luigi!" Peach cheered.
Mario unlocked the door and opened it. Peach walked out of the cell and hugged Luigi. She then gave Mario a kiss on the cheek, making him blush.
"Thank you both very much!" She said,
"It's no problem, Princess." Luigi replied.
"Let's go home. I know my Toads must be worried sick." Peach sighed.
"You're right, Peach. And we can help fix everything the Koopa Troop broke." Mario replied.
Luigi and Peach followed Mario out of the dungeon and out of Bowser's castle. After that, the three friends made their way back to the Mushroom Kingdom.
I really hope this chapter was ok. I'll try to post the second one tomorrow!

Bowser groaned as he slowly made his way back to the throne room. It's been an hour since the Mario Bros. beat him and saved Princess Peach, and as soon as they were gone, Bowser went to his room to rest. Bowser rubbed his head, still feeling some pain, even after eating a 1-Up Mushroom he ordered a Koopa Troopa to find for him. Once he arrived in the throne room, Bowser sat on his throne and sighed deeply. He was so sure that he would win this time! What was he doing wrong?
Bowser rested his head against the throne and sighed again. As he closed his eyes, Bowser began to reflect on his past missions. He has abducted the princess numerous times, kidnapped the Mario Brothers, and even caused trouble for everyone when he wasn't invited on a cruise. Bowser even made a few unsuccessful attempts to take the Mushroom Kingdom by marrying her!
"Ugh..." Bowser mumbled as he cringed, thinking back to those moments.
When Clawdia found out, she became furious and tried to leave each time. Bowser was so lucky to be able to convince her to stay.
"Dad?" Bowser snapped out of his thoughts and looked up to see Bowser Jr. walking into the throne room.
"Oh, Junior, you finished your painting?" Bowser asked.
Bowser Jr. nodded. "Yeah." He stared at Bowser for a moment. "Um, are you ok, Dad?"
"Yep. Just thinking, kiddo." Bowser smiled.
"...You're still thinking about the Marios, aren't you?" Junior asked.
Bowser sighed and his smile fell. "Y-Yeah. I am."
Bowser Jr. grinned. "Don't worry, Papa! We'll beat those guys next time! I'm sure of it!"
"Haha yeah! I know I can come up with a better plan!" Bowser chuckled and gave his son a fake smile. Luckily, Junior bought it.
Bowser and Junior laughed and talked as they imagined defeating the Mario Bros. and finally taking control of the Mushroom Kingdom. Junior suggested locking Mario and Luigi in the dungeon and keeping Peach trapped in a cage so they won't escape. They were having fun, until a Koopa Troopa entered the throne room.
"Uh, Lord Bowser?" The Koopa said.
"What is it?" Bowser answered, giving the Koopa Troopa an angry expression for interrupting his conversation.
"You have some visitors." The Koopa smiled.
"Ugh! Tell them to come back later! I'm busy!" Bowser responded.
The Koopa Troopa chuckled softly. "Well, sir, they seem very excited to see you." He gave Bowser a smile. "Are you sure?"
"I don't care! They can come see me another time!" Bowser shouted.
Then, Bowser froze as he heard a female voice laughing.
"Aww. You really want us to come back another time, Bowser?" He heard the voice say.
Junior gasped. "Is it...?"
Once the Koopa Troopa left the throne room, two Koopas entered. They had the same fiery red hair as Bowser and Junior. The older one, who looked a year younger than Bowser, had her fiery red hair pulled back in a ponytail with a black spiked band, a purple shell, red eyes, black glasses, and spiked bands on her wrists and ankles. The younger one, around Junior's age, had her short red hair in twin tails with pink spiked bands keeping them up, red eyes, a green shell, black spiked bands on her wrists, and black boots.
Bowser Jr. grinned brightly when he saw them. But then, he and Bowser cringed and his smile fell when they heard the two Koopas give them a familiar, but annoying, nickname.
"Bowsie!" The two female Koopas rushed over to them, hugging the king and prince tightly.
"Ugh, Clawdeen! Stop calling me 'Bowsie'!" Bowser groaned.
"You too, Talisa!" Junior added.
Clawdeen, the older Koopa, let go of Bowser and giggled. "Why? It's a cute nickname."
"Exactly! I'm a grown Koopa! Not a little kid, sis!" Bowser exclaimed.
"Heh. Too bad! I'll still call you that, just to annoy you!" Clawdeen replied.
Bowser scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Anyways, what are you guys doing here?"
"Tali here wanted to see her uncle today." Clawdeen said.
Talisa let go of Junior and hopped on Bowser's lap, hugging him.
"Yeah! I've missed you, Uncle Bowser!"
"I missed you too, cutie." Bowser leaned in closer to Talisa and began to whisper. "How's my favorite niece?"
Talisa giggled at his wink. "I'm good!"
Clawdeen gave Junior a kiss on the forehead and looked back at Bowser. "So, where's the rest of my niece and nephews."
"Out with Clawdia. What about mine?" Bowser answered.
"At the castle with Langston." Clawdeen replied.
Talisa glanced up at Bowser and slightly frowned.
"What's wrong, Tali?" Bowser asked her.
"Uncle Bowser, are you alright? I heard some of your guards saying that you lost again to the Mario Bros." Talisa replied.
Bowser looked at his niece and grinned widely, hoping that the smile looked convincing. "Don't worry about me, Tali! Your uncle's feeling great!" Bowser chuckled.
"Hmm." Clawdeen stared at Bowser for a moment. Then, she turned to look at her nephew.
"Junior? Can you and Talisa go to your room for a minute? I wanna talk to your dad, alone." She asked.
"Aww. Really mom?" Talisa whined.
"Yes sweetie. Don't worry, it won't be long." Clawdeen smiled softly.
Talisa hopped down from Bowser's lap and followed Junior out of the throne room.
"Hey. Let's hide behind the wall. I wanna hear what they're talking about." Junior whispered.
Talisa giggled. "Yeah!"
The kids hid behind the wall near the throne room. Clawdeen opened her mouth to speak, but stopped. She walked towards the entrance and put her hands on her hips.
"I know you two are trying to eavesdrop!" She said.
"Aw, come on!" Talisa cried out.
"Alright, auntie, we're going!" Junior took Talisa's hand and they walked away.
Clawdeen sighed and walked over to her brother, who now stood near a window in the throne room, looking outside.
"I know that smile you gave Tali was fake, Bowser. What's going on? You can tell me."
"What? Sis, I'm fine!" Bowser remarked, grinning at her.
When Clawdeen put her hands on her hips and raised an eyebrow at Bowser, he sighed and his smile fell. He glanced back out of the window and didn't say anything for a couple of seconds.
"Clawdeen, I... I don't know what to do anymore. Every time I try, I always lose to the Marios!" Bowser finally said.
"Bowser... why don't you just stop trying to take over the Mushroom Kingdom?"
Bowser turned away from the window and faced his sister, his expression a mix of surprise and confusion. "What!? Why would I do that?!"
"Well, it seems that you have a hard time with that kingdom." Clawdeen replied. She approached Bowser and placed a hand on his arm. "Hey, I know! Why not try taking over a different kingdom?" She suggested.
"A different kingdom?" Bowser repeated.
"Yeah! Maybe you'll have better luck! Oh, I know! You can try taking over Sarasa—"
"NO! No no no no no! Nope! I'd rather not deal with a certain loudmouth princess!" Bowser exclaimed, cutting his sister off.
Clawdeen chuckled and smiled at him. "Hey. Why don't you and the others come over for dinner with us tonight? Maybe it'll help you feel better."
"Hmm. Yeah! We can! Plus, I can see the rest of my nieces and nephews! It's been awhile since we've all been together!" Bowser grinned.
"Great! I'll go get Tali so we can tell everyone! I'll see ya tonight, Bowsie!" Clawdeen replied.
She chuckled as Bowser groaned at the nickname and she left the throne room.
Back in Junior's room, he was showing his younger cousin his new painting. It was a picture of Bowser attacking the Mushroom Kingdom and setting Mario and Luigi on fire. Talisa chuckled as she took a closer look.
"Wow! This looks great, Junior!" Talisa pointed at Mario and Luigi, laughing harder. "Why are their butts on fire?"
Bowser Jr. laughed with her. "I thought it'd be funny!" When they calmed down from laughing, Junior took another look at his painting. "That was my favorite part to paint."
Talisa sat down on the floor and looked at Junior. "Are those guys really that bad?"
Junior sat down beside her. "Oh yeah. I can't stand them!" He turned to face Talisa. "Dad just wants to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, but they always show up to cause trouble for him!" Junior growled. "They're so annoying!"
Talisa smiled. "Well, I think Uncle Bowser will beat them up next time! He's super strong!"
Junior smirked. "Duh! Of course he is! Someday, when I'm bigger, I'm gonna be just as strong as my dad!" As Talisa laughed, a thought came to Junior's mind. "Oh! What's everyone else up to at your castle?"
"Hmm..." Talisa thought for a second. "I remember Daddy was lifting weights before we left." Talisa chuckled. "Mommy couldn't stop staring at him. I guess she really loves his muscles."
Junior chuckled. "Well, he's not as strong as my dad!" Junior smirked as Talisa glared at him. "What about the others?"
"Well, I think most of them are in their rooms." Talisa shrugged her shoulders. "They're probably playing video games or something."
As the two cousins changed the subject and talked about cartoons, Clawdeen arrived and entered the room. Talisa noticed her out of the corner of her eye and turned to her.
"Hi Mom! Are you and Uncle Bowser finished talking?" She asked.
Clawdeen gave her daughter a nod. "Yep! And it's time for us to head home." Bowser Jr. and Talisa frowned, which made Clawdeen give them a warm smile. "Don't worry though. Everyone will be coming over to our castle tonight for dinner."
Talisa let out a gasp. "Really?" As Clawdeen nodded again, she and Junior cheered. "Oh boy! This is gonna be so much fun!" Talisa jumped up and down. "I can't wait to see Auntie Clawdia, Wendy, Morton, and all the others!"
Clawdeen chuckled as the kids continued to celebrate. After a minute, Bowser Jr. and Talisa calmed down and smiled widely.
"Well, let's head home, Tali. Junior and the others will come by later."
Talisa sprinted over to her mother and took her hand. She turned back to Bowser Jr. and waved. "See ya later, Bowsie!"
Junior waved back, rolling his eyes at the nickname. He then smiled as he watched his aunt and cousin leave, excited to see his whole family later.
That's it for now! I won't be able to post tomorrow cuz tomorrow is my little cousin's birthday party. And I don't usually post on Sunday and Monday when my family is around. So hopefully I'll write again Tuesday!
Bowser's Family
...So, remember when I said I wasn't gonna be able to write today? Well, I got some time right now! I hope you like this! I got a lot to say about this chapter at the end but one thing I'll say before it...
irony sucks lol

Clawdia and the Koopalings returned to the castle an hour later. Their mother took them all to the mall and they brought many things like makeup, new games, and a snack. Since Junior didn't go with them, Larry decided to buy him a big lollipop, which the youngest son eagerly took. After making sure they were ready, the family left the castle and boarded the airship. Clawdia gazed out of the window and smiled.
"I can't wait to see everyone! It's been a long time since all of us have been together."
"Yeah! I wanna see all of my cousins! Not just Tali!" Junior grinned, taking a huge bite of his lollipop.
After that, the family waited patiently as they sat in silence. After thirty minutes, Bowser grinned, looking out of the window at what he saw.
"We're here!" He exclaimed.
The airship flew through the Magma Kingdom, a large volcanic world similar to Darkland, but with more magma and lava. As they flew, they began to see a large castle getting closer and closer. Soon, the airship landed and Bowser and Clawdia were the first to exit. The two were greeted by Clawdeen and another Koopa. This one was taller than Clawdeen and had his long, green locs pulled back in a ponytail, two black bands around his wrists, a red shell, brown eyes, a goatee, and two fang-like teeth in the upper corners of his mouth.
"Hey guys!" Clawdeen greeted them as she saw her niece and nephews walk out of the airship.
"Langston!" Clawdia cheered as she rushed to embrace the other male Koopa. "It's so great to see my old neighbor again!"
Langston let her go and grinned. "Yeah. Even though you're still annoying at times."
Clawdia smirked and rolled her eyes. With a chuckle, Langston and Clawdeen escorted everyone into the castle.
"I thought we all could hang out and watch a movie or something while we wait for dinner to be ready." Langston explained.
"What's for dinner?" Lemmy asked.
"Jerk Chicken and Rice." Langston replied.
Roy licked his lips. "Great! I haven't had that in forever!"
Langston chuckled again and led everyone to the living room.
"Oh, Bowser! Do you mind getting our kids?" Clawdeen asked.
Bowser shrugged. "Sure."
"Woohoo!"
Before he walked away, a Koopa with short brown hair, a light green shell, and one fang-like tooth in the upper corner of his mouth zipped past them on his skateboard. The Koopa stopped, turned around, and chuckled.
"Theodore! What did I say about skateboarding around the castle?" Clawdeen said, putting her hands on her hips.
"Haha sorry, Mom!" Theodore chuckled again.
Letting out a sigh, Clawdeen faced Bowser. "Well, Theo's here, so can you get the others?"
Bowser nodded. "Alright."
Bowser left the living room and went down another hallway. He smiled when he saw Talisa walking, holding a bottle of bubbles. She tucked the bubbles inside of her shell and smiled when she saw Bowser.
"Hi, Uncle Bowser!" She said.
"Hey, Tali! Your mom wants everyone in the living room." Bowser replied.
"Ok!" After saying that, Talisa skipped down the corridor.
Bowser chuckled to himself and quickly found the stairs. He made his way upstairs to find many different rooms. A Koopa around Larry's age walked out of a room with a red door. His red Afro was pulled back into a ponytail and he had a black shell, green eyes, and wore black spiked cuffs on his wrists. The boy looked up and gasped softly, then smiled.
"Oh, hey, Uncle Bowser!" The boy greeted.
"Hey, Johnny! Your mom told me to get ya and your siblings. The rest of us are waiting downstairs."
"Oh ok! See ya!" John said as he ran past his uncle.
Bowser approached a yellow door and knocked on it.
"Alex? Ya in there?" Bowser called out.
The door opened after a few seconds. On the other side was a Koopa girl with short brown hair tied back in a ponytail, brown eyes, two fang-like teeth in the upper corners of her mouth, a yellow shell, and wearing black spiked cuffs on her wrists. She looked up at Bowser and smirked.
"Heya! What's up, Uncle Bowser!" Alex said.
"Everyone's downstairs hanging out. Your mom wants you all to join." Bowser explained.
"Oh, she does?" Bowser heard a voice say.
He turned around and saw another Koopa. This one looked older than the others, around Ludwig's age. He had spiky green hair, blue eyes, a red shell, and the same black spiked cuffs on his wrists like the others.
"Oh hey, Austin. Yeah, that's right." Bowser replied.
Bowser stepped aside to so Alex could walk out of her room.
"So, everyone's there already?" She asked.
"Pretty much. I just need to get the rest of your siblings." Bowser replied.
"Well, Ken and Sandy are in their rooms. I'm not sure what Sha—"
"That was stupid!" They heard a voice say as a door slammed.
Around the corner, they saw a girl walking down the hall. She had long black locs with purple at the ends, a black shell, and wore black spiked cuffs, a black shirt, and gray pants.
"Oh. There you are, Sharon. Where were you?" Austin said.
"In the game room on the computer." Sharon replied.
Alex chuckled. "Lost a game, Sherry?"
Sharon gave her sister a glare and said, "Shut up! I only lost 'cause I wasn't paying attention at the last second." Sharon looked at the three Koopas. "What are y'all doing out here anyways?"
"Mom wants us to hang out downstairs or something." Alex shrugged.
"Eh, ok. I need a break from that dumb game anyways." replied Sharon.
Bowser watched as the three kids walked away. After that, he walked down the hall, arrived at another door, and knocked.
"Ken?" No answer.
Bowser opened the door and looked inside. Ken's orange shell was facing him. As Bowser got closer to his nephew, he gasped at what Ken was doing.
"Hey! Is that supposed to be me?" Bowser said, making Ken shriek.
Ken quickly grabbed a blanket and tried to cover the clay figure. He faced Bowser and after wiping off his hands, he nervously ran his fingers through his green and black spiky hair.
"U-Uncle Bowser! I uh, I didn't hear you come in."
"You're making a clay figure of me?" Bowser chuckled.
Ken groaned. "It was going to be a birthday present for ya."
"Don't worry, I'll act surprised." Bowser smirked.
Ken sighed and laughed. "Alright. So, you wanted to see me?"
"Oh right. Everyone's in the living room. Your mom told me to get you." Bowser said.
"Alright. I guess I can finish this later." Ken then followed Bowser out of the room.
Once Ken was gone, Bowser made his way to one more room. He knocked on the red door.
"Sandy?" Bowser called out. He could hear her talking, but couldn't understand what she was saying. Bowser called her again. "Sandra!"
Bowser slowly opened the door and walked inside the room. He saw his niece sitting on the floor, her red shell facing him. Bowser also noticed that her black shoes were near her bed and her long, light red hair wasn't pulled up in a ponytail like usual. It was also messy. Then, he saw that Sandra was surrounded by paper (some balled up, some not). Bowser walked closer and sat down next to her.
Bowser looked down, noticing a notebook in Sandra's hands. He placed a hand on her shoulder, finally getting her attention. She then looked up at him.
"Oh. Hey, Uncle Bowser." She muttered.
Bowser looked into her brown eyes with a furrowed brow, noticing the tears that she was trying to hold back. "Hey, what's wrong?"
Sandra took a deep breath. "It's nothing. I'm fine."
"Hm. I know that's a lie. Come on, tell me." Bowser said.
Sandra sighed and looked at the notebook in her hands.
"Well, it's just... I love writing stories and I've been posting them online for everyone to enjoy." Sandra couldn't hold back her tears any longer. "B-But, I feel like I'm not at the skill level that I should be at." Sandra then burst into tears. "I'm still not good enough and I feel like the people that give me bad reviews hate me! I... I should just quit."
Bowser frowned and pulled Sandra closer. "Hey, don't think like that! I still lose to the Mario Bros., but I haven't given up!"
Sandra sniffled and wiped her tears away. "I..."
Bowser wiped more tears off of her face. "Don't you enjoy writing?"
"O-Of course I do..." Sandra replied.
"Then don't give up! Keep going! I know you'll get better! Just like how I'll take over a kingdom!" Bowser grinned.
Sandra chuckled, slowly calming down. "You're right. But it takes too long. Does Kamek or Kammy know of a spell that will help me improve?"
"Eh, I don't think so. But I'm sure you'll improve soon." Bowser smiled. "Hey! Do you have a new story you wanna write?"
Sandra looked up at the ceiling. "Hmm... I haven't really thought of many. But there is an old idea I had a few years ago that I haven't gotten around to writing."
"Lemme hear it." Bowser smirked.
"Well," Sandra turned to Bowser, "I don't have the full idea, but there are these two kingdoms that are at war and the only way for the King of the bad kingdom to stop attacking is if he gets a Queen." Sandra smiled. "A friend of the Princess from the good kingdom offers herself and marries the King, bringing peace and the two slowly develop feelings for each other!"
Bowser watched as Sandra giggled and blushed slightly, imagining the scenario.
"I dunno how you and your mother love romance stories, or books in general, so much." Bowser then gasped. "Oh, your mother! She's waiting for us to go to the living room to hang out!"
"Really?" Sandra sat the notebook on her bed. She then slipped on her shoes and grabbed a hairbrush. "I'll be quick."
Sandra brushed her hair and pulled it in a ponytail. Once she was ready, she and Bowser walked out of her room and down the stairs. As they reached the living room, they noticed John and Larry passing by.
"Where are you guys going?" Sandra asked.
John replied, "We're gonna play video games in my room."
"Oh, well, ok. I guess we'll see you guys at dinner." Sandra said.
After that, she followed Bowser into the living room.
"Alright! I won again!" Larry cheered.
John threw his controller onto the floor. "This is the fourth game!"
"Heh. Guess I'm just that good." Larry smirked.
"You're cheating!" John exclaimed.
"What? No I'm not!" Larry replied.
John took a deep breath, calming himself down. Once he was feeling better, he turned off the game console and tv. "We should do something else."
"Like what?" Larry asked.
"Hmm," John began to think. "We could do something out of the castle."
Larry grinned. "Yeah!"
Eager for more fun, Larry followed John out of his room and out of the castle.
I hope this chapter was alright. Like I said, I got a lot to say about this chapter.
First off, while working on this story, I started having the exact same feelings as Sandra about my own writing skills and I was so annoyed at the irony lol. Also, her story idea is pretty much based on a story idea I had. At first I was thinking about making it a Mario fanfic set in an alternate universe and about Ludwig and my FC Jasmine. But I'd like to make it an original story about my original characters King Malik and Queen Dahlia :)
Second, Langston, his kids, and a certain fan character that'll be mentioned in the next chapter, are Black coded. Some of them have Black hairstyles (ex: Afro, Locs, etc.) and they sometimes use AAVE. Why? I'm Black and I thought it'd be interesting. Also in my AU, as a human, Clawdia would be racially ambiguous and the Koopalings and Junior as humans would have different skin tones and hair textures. Ex: My version of human Iggy would be Black
Also, back when I made bios for Clawdeen and her kids, I mentioned that most of them and Langston are named after different writers. And these are the writers.
Langston Koopa: Langston Hughes
Austin Koopa: No one
Sandra Koopa: Sandra Cisneros
Alex M. Koopa: No one
Sharon G. Koopa: Sharon G. Flake
Ken Koopa: Ken Kelsey
Theodore Koopa: Theodore Taylor
John Koopa: John Steinbeck
Talisa Koopa: Talisa Lavarry
Sorry this was long ^^; I'll try to work on the next chapter soon!
The Ethereal Forest
Hello everyone! I'm back with a new chapter :D I hope you all enjoy it.
Disclaimer: Only own my FCs!
Larry looked around once they were outside. "So, what should we do first?"
John walked away from the castle with Larry next to him.
"We could go to an arcade?" John suggested.
Larry snorted. "So I can beat you at more games?"
"Whatever! I'll win this time!" John replied.
Then, in the distance, the two could hear upbeat music playing. As they walked closer, they gasped, seeing an ice cream truck.
"The arcade can wait! Come on! Let's get a popsicle or something!" Larry grinned as he ran towards the truck.
"Wait up, Larry!" John called out as he hurried to catch up with his older cousin.
Once the truck stopped, the two boys bought their frozen treats. Larry got an ice cream sandwich while John got a fudgsicle. The two smiled as they walked back to the castle, eating their snacks. After that, they sat down in the grass and talked.
"Should we really be eating these since it's almost dinnertime?" John asked.
Larry took a bite of his ice cream sandwich. "Hey, if Junior can eat a huge lollipop before dinner, we can eat ice cream."
John laughed. "I guess so."
The cousins sat and talked as they ate their snack. When they were done, Larry got up and started heading toward Bowser's airship.
"What are you doing?" John asked as Larry went inside. A second later, Larry came out of the airship, pulling his Clown Car with him.
"Why walk to the arcade when we can fly?" Larry asked.
John chuckled and got inside of the Clown Car after Larry.
"Come on, Larry! Stop doing the same moves over and over!" John exclaimed as they played a fighting game. The two arrived at the arcade five minutes ago and Larry was already cheating.
Larry suppressed a chuckle. "I'm not!"
"Why do you gotta cheat all the time?" John asked.
"I don't cheat. I'm just better than you!" Larry smirked as he looked at John.
John returned the smirk after noticing that Larry wasn't paying attention. He began pressing a few buttons, hitting Larry's character and lowering his health bar.
Larry gasped. "W-Wait!"
Then, Larry's character fainted, making John the winner of this round.
"Alright!" John cheered.
"Hmph. You just got lucky!" Larry said.
Unfortunately for John, he only won that round. Larry beat him at the others, annoying him. Once they finished playing that game, they moved on to a racing game, Air Hockey, DDR, and a few older games. Larry won another racing game, making John annoyed again. John let out a sigh as Larry celebrated.
"We should go do something else." He said.
"Fine. I'm still better though." Larry chuckled.
Not knowing what else to do, the boys chose to fly around in the Clown Car. John looked around the area, noticing that they were no longer in the Magma Kingdom.
"Where are you going, Larry?" John asked.
Larry shrugged. "I dunno. I just wanna look around."
John looked down at the trees and homes. "Next time we play games together, I'm gonna beat you."
"HA! You wish!" Larry said, flying farther away.
"I will! Even if ya try to cheat, I'll beat you!"
Larry looked over at John and chuckled. "Sure. We'll see, Johnny. But it's pretty obvious I'm the best—"
"Larry, look out!" John screamed, pointing towards a tree.
Larry's eyes widened when he turned around. Before he could react, the Clown Car crashed into the tree.
"AAAAHHH!"
Larry and John fell to the ground and out of the Clown Car. The two groaned as they slowly sat up and rubbed their heads.
"You ok?" Larry asked.
"Y-Yeah..." John answered.
Larry approached his Clown Car after they slowly stood up. Looking over it, he saw that it only had a small scratch.
"Well, I guess we should head back." Larry said. He was prepared to hop back inside of his Clown Car, but John stopped him.
"Hold on. Where... are we?" John looked around, seeing that they were in a forest. But that's not all. "Look! There's a lot of crystals and... stardust?"
Larry also looked around, finally noticing the area. "Yeah, you're right." There were many different crystals around along with lots of stardust. It made the forest seem beautiful or otherworldly. Maybe ethereal was the word Larry was looking for?
Growing curious, Larry pulled out his wand.
John asked, "What are you doing?"
"Let's explore this place." After waving his wand, Larry and John became human a few seconds later.
"Woah..." Larry and John observed each other's looks.
Larry and John both still wore their spiked cuffs, but that was the only similarity in their appearances. Larry now had fair skin and wore a black shirt with a blue star in the middle, a light blue jacket, blue jeans, and black and white sneakers. John had hazel skin and wore a black hoodie with a white 'J' in the middle, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
Larry smirked. "Heh, so that's what we look like as humans. Well, let's look around."
"I can't wait for it!" They heard a voice say.
Larry's eyes widened. "Quick! We gotta hide the Clown Car!"
To make sure that the person passing by wouldn't see Larry's Clown Car, Larry and John pushed it into some nearby bushes. When they turned back around, they saw a Toad girl and a Poplin boy walking by. The Toad had fair skin, long brown hair, and wore a light blue mushroom cap with white spots, a light blue dress, a blue vest with gold lining, and brown shoes. The Poplin had olive skin, black hair poking out of his blue flower cap, blue clothing, and blue shoes. The girl noticed them and smiled.
"Oh, hello! Are you guys new here? We've never seen you before." The girl said.
"Hiya! I'm Dorian, and this is my friend, Melody!" The Poplin grinned.
"Hi! I'm Larry and this is my cousin, John." Larry replied. John waved timidly to Melody and Dorian. "So, uh, where are we exactly? We kinda got here by accident."
Melody smiled again. "You're in the forest that separates Stardust Land and the Crystal Kingdom."
"We were on our way to the Crystal Castle. We can show you guys around the kingdom if you want." Dorian said.
"Yeah! That sounds—" Larry stopped himself as he felt his phone vibrating. He took it out of his back pocket and gasped, seeing a text from Clawdia. "Wait, we can't. We gotta head home for dinner."
Melody frowned. "Aw, that's too bad. You should definitely visit soon!"
After saying goodbye to Larry and John, Melody and Dorian made their way out of the forest.
"Y'know, that blue-haired kid was kinda cute." Melody whispered to Dorian.
Dorian chuckled. "You're so weird, Mel."
Once Melody and Dorian were out of sight, Larry pulled out his wand and changed himself and John back into Koopas. They pulled Larry's Clown Car out of its hiding spot, got inside, and flew away from the forest.
At last, Larry and John arrived back in the Magma Kingdom and headed for the castle. When they landed in front of the castle, they found their mothers waiting for them outside.
"You're late." Clawdia said as the boys walked over to them.
"We're sorry. We weren't paying attention to the time." John said.
"Yeah. We were just having fun." Larry added.
Clawdeen smiled softly. "Well, you're here now. So, let's head to the dining hall."
After making their way through the corridors, the four Koopas reached the dining hall, where the rest of their family was waiting. A few Shy Guys were walking around, giving everyone their dinner.
"Took you two long enough." Alex said as Larry and John took their seats.
"Yeah, yeah. We're here." John rolled his eyes.
Once Clawdia and Clawdeen sat down, everyone began to eat and talk to each other.
Clawdia let out a happy sigh. "I've missed coming here."
"Yeah. The Magma Kingdom is way better than Darkland." Austin smirked, annoying his cousins.
"Just eat your Jerk Chicken, Austin..." Ludwig grumbled.
"So, how was school, Tali?" Langston asked his youngest child.
"It was fine," Talisa then pouted. "But a new teacher pronounced my name wrong! I told them it's Talisa! Tah-Lee-Suh!" The adults and older kids chuckled, finding Talisa's pouty face adorable.
Sandra sighed after laughing. "I really wish my stories will get better faster."
Clawdeen gave her daughter a gentle smile. "I'm sure you'll improve, honey. Don't take the criticism too personally."
"Yeah!" Ludwig chimed in, "I've read your stories and you have potential. Don't be too hard on yourself."
Sandra gave them a sad smile. "Thanks. I just wish more people would use constructive criticism instead of destructive criticism."
"I saw a rude comment on your latest story. I cussed that dumbass out in her private messages." Alex chuckled.
"Alex! You can't do that!" Langston exclaimed.
"Lexi, language!" Clawdeen scolded their daughter. Sandra gasped and stared at her younger sister.
"Wait. Have you been reading my stories?" Sandra asked. "I thought you hated reading."
Alex blushed out of embarrassment. "I-It was a one time thing! I got bored and I needed something to do." She took a bite of her Jerk Chicken, ignoring the huge smile on Sandra's face. Iggy chuckled at their interaction, making Langston speak up.
"Oh yeah! Iggy, I saw your friend Tiana recently at the library in town." Langston chuckled. "She was struggling to reach a book on the top shelf, so I lifted her up so she could get it."
"Ooooh, Tiana!" Sharon sang her name, and chuckled.
Iggy blushed as he glared at his cousin.
"Iggy's got a girlfriend!" Junior smirked. Iggy's face reddened as the other kids joined in and laughed.
"She's not my girlfriend! We're just friends!" Iggy exclaimed.
Talisa laughed. "I bet he has a love shrine for her somewhere in his room!"
"I do not!" Iggy said.
Sharon cringed. "Ugh. That's too creepy, even for Iggy!"
"I think you two would make such a cute couple!" Wendy giggled.
"Yeah," Roy said, "Two nerds in love."
"ANYWAYS!" Iggy turned to Ludwig, "Have you been working on anything new, bro?"
Ludwig grinned. "Of course! I'm working on a new song right now. I'm sure this one will be even better than the last one." Ludwig raised an eyebrow when he heard Theodore and Talisa groan. "What's the matter?"
"Wiggy, classical music is boring!" Talisa whined.
"Right! No one wants to hear that!" Theodore added.
"Hey!" Ken spoke up, "I like Ludwig's music! And there's nothing wrong with classical music!"
Ludwig smirked and looked at Talisa. "See, Lisa? At least somebody enjoys what I make."
Talisa pouted again and tossed a balled up napkin at Ludwig. Unfortunately for her, Ludwig caught it and sat it on the table.
"Don't call me Lisa! Tali is a cuter nickname!" Talisa exclaimed.
Ludwig chuckled. "But you can call me Wiggy?"
"Yes! It's cute!" Talisa replied.
As his brother and cousin playfully argued, Larry began to zone out. After taking a sip of his soda, Larry's eyes widened, remembering something.
"Oh, that's right! You guys wanna know why we were late? John and I fell into a forest that was full of crystals and stardust!"
"Stardust and crystals?" Clawdia asked.
"Yeah! Then we met this Poplin boy and Toad girl there. They said the forest was in between two kingdoms." John explained.
"Really? Which ones?" Sharon wondered.
"Um," Larry thought back to it, "I think it was Stardust Land and the... Crystal Kingdom? I think that's what she said."
Clawdeen gasped and turned to Bowser, a huge grin on her face. Bowser stared back at her and raised an eyebrow.
"...Sis? What's with the creepy smile?" Bowser asked.
"Bowsie, that's it! You can take over the Crystal Kingdom!" Clawdeen replied, her smile widening.
Bowser closed his eyes. Taking over the Crystal Kingdom? On one hand, he still believed that he could take over the Mushroom Kingdom and defeat Mario and Luigi. On the other hand, going to the Crystal Kingdom meant that he didn't have to deal with the plumbers and he could easily take over the domain. After thinking it over, Bowser opened his eyes and looked at his sister.
"Ya know what? You're right." Bowser grinned. "I know! Why don't you and everyone else help out this time?"
"W-What!? I... I uh, I dunno, Bowser. I don't want my children getting hurt." Clawdeen said.
"Come on! Aren't you the one who took over the Magma Kingdom with help from my soldiers?" asked Bowser.
Clawdeen giggled. "Well, yeah. But the chief that lived here was pretty weak."
"So? I know you can help out. You're a nerd, but you're tough!"
Clawdeen rolled her eyes and laughed. "Ok. I guess I can help."
"I'll help out too!" Talisa cheered.
"Me too! I'm pretty strong!" Alex said.
Sandra smiled sheepishly and poked at her food. "I'm not the best fighter, but I can do my best."
The rest of Clawdeen and Langston's children talked at once, agreeing to help Bowser and the others.
"I can help out too, but," Langston rubbed the back of his head and chuckled nervously, "It's been awhile since I've fought."
"Aw, don't worry, honey." Clawdeen placed a hand on his chest. "You're still very strong to me."
"Ugh, please don't start flirting!" Bowser groaned.
"Yeah! We're trying to eat here!" Austin added.
Clawdeen rolled her eyes and moved her hand off of Langston's chest. "Whatever. Why don't we all talk about the invasion after dinner?" She suggested.
Bowser nodded. "That's fine."
After agreeing, the Koopa family resumed eating their dinner.
I'll post the next chapter either tomorrow or Thursday :) Also, since this character will be mentioned a lot and make appearances in this fic, I feel like I need to explain this for everyone who is new to my stories.
Tiana Koopa is not me! Originally, she started out as my self insert when I was younger, but a year later (I think) after making her, I wanted Tiana to be her own character. I also wanted my username to be the same as one of my fan characters and I went with Tiana :)

Hello! Here's the next chapter. I hope you like it :D
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
The family, except for Clawdeen, headed to the Great Hall after everyone had finished their dinner. They took a seat at the table and waited for Clawdeen to join them. As they waited for Clawdeen to arrive, Iggy glanced around the room, unsure of what to do.
"What did Aunt Clawdeen need to get anyways?" He wondered.
Sharon shrugged. "I dunno."
After two minutes, they could hear footsteps approaching the Great Hall. When Iggy and the others turned to face the door, they saw Clawdeen enter, carrying a fuchsia colored book (it reminded him of Tiana's light purple eyes). Once Clawdeen sat down next to Langston, Bowser spoke up.
"What's that book for?" He asked.
Clawdeen smiled brightly. "This book is all about the Crystal Kingdom!" Clawdeen opened it and showed everyone. "I've had it for awhile, but I haven't had the time to really look through it until now."
"What?" Bowser said mockingly, "The bookworm hasn't read a book for once?"
Clawdeen scoffed. "I have a kingdom to run just like you, Bowsie. Plus, I've been reading other books instead."
As Clawdeen flipped the blank page, Wendy loudly squealed, making some of her brothers and cousins wince.
"Girl, what's wrong with you!?" Alex exclaimed. "You're gonna make us partially deaf like Ludwig!" She stuck out her tongue as Ludwig gave her an annoyed look.
"Sorry," Wendy said, "I just saw the beautiful gems and I got excited!" Wendy moved closer to Clawdeen and pointed at the page. "I mean, look! Diamonds! Rubies! Pearls! Emeralds! They're gorgeous!"
"They are pretty stunning." Iggy took a closer look at the picture. "You know, I've read that people believe crystals can heal you or you can manifest your desires using them. I've never believed in it though."
Sharon laughed. "We live in the Mushroom World, Iggy. Anything is possible!"
Clawdeen turned the next page and spoke again. "Oh! Look at this!" Clawdeen pointed to a photo of gems with pastel rainbow-like hues. "These are called Wish Crystals."
Bowser moved closer to get a better look at the picture. Although each gem had a unique shape, they all had the same pastel colors. Some were shaped like diamonds while others resembled opals and other gemstones.
"So, they can grant any wish?" He asked.
"I suppose so." Clawdeen answered, returning her attention to the gems.
"Wow!" Sharon exclaimed, "They sound way better than normal crystals! Why use the normal ones to get what you want when you can just use these to wish for it?"
Bowser grinned. "This is perfect! We can take these Wish Crystals and I'll be able to take over this kingdom and any other I want!"
"Uh, Dad?" Larry glanced at him, "We tried stealing magical gems once before. Remember what happened in Jewelry Land?"
Bowser thought back to their time in that kingdom. He and the Koopalings invaded and stole the gems that maintained peace and stability across the land, splitting it into a Light Realm and a Dark Realm. They also held King Fret and Prince Pine, the rulers of Jewelry Land, captive. Unfortunately for Bowser and his kids, Mario and Yoshi were able to stop them and save the kingdom after Peach asked them to help.
Bowser, curious about these crystals, looked at his family. "I know that we failed the last time, but I bet it'll work now!" Bowser arched an eyebrow as his sister flipped to another page, showing a power-up. It resembled a Super Mushroom, but the blue mushroom cap was crystal-like. "What's that?"
"Hmm," Clawdeen began to read. "It's a Crystal Mushroom." After reading the rest of the page, she looked at everyone. "It can make the user's outfit crystal-like and they can throw crystal balls to attack enemies."
"Huh." Bowser looked at the picture of the power-up again. "I wonder if we can use it."
"But, we don't usually use power-ups." Wendy said.
Bowser shrugged. "Well, I can use the Super Bell from the Sprixie Kingdom, so who knows?" Then, he got an idea. Bowser turned to Iggy and Ludwig. "I want you two to make powerful crystals for us to use to fight."
"Really?" Ludwig asked. Ludwig and Iggy glanced at each other as Bowser nodded. "I guess we can give it a try."
"Yeah," Iggy added, "It might take us awhile, but I think we can do it."
The citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom were having a great day today. While some were out shopping, others were playing outside, taking walks, or just lounging. Mario and Luigi were in their kitchen finishing up their lunch. Once they were finished, Luigi washed the dishes. Today, the brothers were going to the castle to spend time with Peach and Daisy. They couldn't wait! It's been a couple of months since the four of them all got together.
Once Luigi washed the last plate, he dried off his hands and followed Mario to the living room. The brothers put on their hats, shoes, and gloves. Then, they walked outside. They walked through Toad Town, waving and greeting the Toads that were outside. As they got closer to the castle, Luigi looked up and noticed a familiar Koopa Paratroopa by Peach's balcony.
"Hey, look! It's Parakarry!" said Luigi, pointing towards the balcony.
As he flew from the balcony, Parakarry looked down at the ground. Before flying away, he smiled and waved to the brothers.
"I guess the princess got some mail today." Mario said.
Mario and Luigi approached the castle's front doors and opened them. As soon as they walked inside, they saw Peach and Daisy walking down the stairs, the letter in Peach's hand.
"Luigi!" Daisy hurried forward to embrace the green-clad plumber tightly. "I haven't seen you in forever!"
"Hehe. It's nice to see you too, Daisy." Luigi said. "Uh, you're kinda crushing me..."
"Hiya, Peach!" Mario greeted. "I see you got a letter."
Peach smiled. "Not just for me. Parakarry said it's for all of us!"
"Really?" Luigi and Daisy finally pulled away from each other. He looked at Peach and the letter. "Who's it from?"
Peach opened the envelope and pulled out the letter. Then, she started reading it aloud to the group.
"Dear Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom,
You and your friends, the Super Mario Brothers and Princess Daisy of Sarasaland, are invited to the Crystal Kingdom for my birthday party! There will be food, games, and other activities. I'll be very happy if you all could attend. Hope to see you in a few weeks!
Sincerely,
Princess Krystal of the Crystal Kingdom"
"A party? That sounds like fun!" Daisy cheered.
"Yeah! We should definitely go! Right, Lou?" Mario said. Luigi smiled and nodded.
"Hmm..." Peach thought for a second, "I wonder what we should get her."
Daisy chuckled. "Maybe we can think about it after having our tea and cake."
"Alright!" Peach laughed, "Let's go to the dining hall."
With her friends in tow, Peach headed to the dining hall after folding the letter back inside of the envelope.
After having their tea and cake, Mario and the others left the dining hall. Mario, Luigi, and Daisy sat in the living room as Peach stood by a bookshelf, looking through the many books on it. Mario looked over at her, wondering what she was searching for.
"Peach? Are you looking for a specific book? I can help you if you want."
"Aha!" Peach smiled as she grabbed a fuchsia book and sat down with the others.
"What's that?" Daisy asked.
"I've never been to the Crystal Kingdom, but I've had this book on it!" Peach opened the book and flipped the blank page, gasping at the photo of the beautiful gemstones. "The Crystal Kingdom is in a mountain area. Makes sense." Peach giggled. "Since crystals are commonly found in rocky places." Peach flipped to another page. "You know, there are many other kingdoms in mountainous areas."
Daisy looked at the book and read another page. "Oh man! This place is huge! There's so many areas in this kingdom!" Daisy looked more closely. "There's Geode City, Crystal Cavern, Agate Field, Opal Beach, Prism Town, Druse Square, Amethyst Falls, and Diamond Valley."
"There's a kingdom right next door to it. It's Stardust Land." Peach said. "And they have a power-up called the Crystal Mushroom."
"Crystal Mushroom?" Mario glanced down at the photo of the power-up. "What does it do?"
"Whoever uses it will be able to throw crystal balls to attack their enemies by trapping them inside crystals." Peach explained.
"Hmm. Hearing about it, it kinda reminds me of the Ice Flower and Penguin Suit." Luigi replied.
"I wish we could try it out." Mario sighed. "It sounds pretty neat."
"Maybe we can get some after the party." Peach replied.
Daisy grabbed the book and turned to another page. "It says that Crystal Toads are the main inhabitants of the Crystal Kingdom. Humans, Shy Guys, normal Toads and some Yoshis also live there."
"Oh my goodness!" Peach squealed. "Crystal Toads! I'd love to meet them! And I think I've heard that some of my Toads have moved there. I wonder why any Crystal Toads haven't moved here."
"They probably heard about Bowser and don't want to live in a kingdom that gets attacked every Tuesday afternoon." Daisy laughed.
Peach playfully rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She took the book from Daisy and read more. "Oh. They use gold coins and purple coins that are shaped like diamonds."
Luigi got up and walked closer to them. He gasped when he glanced at the page. "Whoa! They have crystal gardens! They look beautiful!"
"Yeah!" Mario glanced at another picture and raised an eyebrow. "Wish Crystals? What are those?"
"Well," Peach began to read more. "I guess they're gems that can grant wishes." Peach closed the book and sat it back onto the bookshelf. "Maybe we can ask Princess Krystal about them." Peach walked away from the bookshelf and sat with the others again.
"I can't wait to visit!" Daisy said. "It'd be nice to see another kingdom that's not Sarasaland or the Mushroom Kingdom."
"Or the Koopa Kingdom." Mario added.
"Yeah," Peach replied, "Especially the Koopa Kingdom." Peach placed a hand on her head as she groaned. "I feel like I see that place more than my own kingdom sometimes."
"Honestly, I wish Bowser would just give up already." Mario sighed.
Peach smiled. "Well, I'm sure we won't have to worry about him for a while." She leaned back against the couch and stared at the ceiling. "Now... what should we all buy for Princess Krystal?"
"Wow! Your dad wants to take over a different kingdom? I assumed he'd just stick with the Mushroom Kingdom like usual." Tiana, Iggy's friend, asked as they talked on the phone. Bowser and his family left the Magma Kingdom after discussing their plan and returned home.
Iggy replied, "Yep! My aunt actually gave him the idea."
Tiana adjusted her purple glasses and smiled, making Iggy's heart flutter. "When are you guys heading there?"
"In a few weeks." Iggy said.
"Oh ok—Ouch!" Tiana's phone slipped out of her hand, landing on her face. She and Iggy laughed once she picked it back up.
"I hate when that happens!" Iggy laughed.
Tiana giggled and rolled over onto her stomach. "I know, right?" After calming down, Tiana smiled at Iggy again. "Well, I hope you and the others stay safe when you head to the Crystal Kingdom. I hate it when you get hurt during battles."
Iggy reddened a little. "I'm sure we'll be alright. I doubt the Marios will be there, and I have a feeling the guards at the crystal castle will be pretty weak."
"Still, please be safe, Iggy." Tiana said.
"I will." Iggy smiled reassuringly at her.
After yawning, Tiana glanced at the clock. "Woah. I didn't realize how late it was!" She frowned slightly. "I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow."
"You're right. See ya, Tia." Iggy and Tiana chuckled at his unintentional rhyme.
"Bye, Iggy!" After saying that, Tiana hung up.
Iggy sighed happily and turned off his light. His cheeks flushed and his heart pounded as Tiana's beautiful eyes and smile flashed into his mind. He took off his glasses and lied down, trying to sleep. However, his mind was filled with thoughts of his best friend.
"Tia... why do I find you so cute? We're friends!" Iggy muttered.
After some time, Iggy eventually closed his eyes and fell asleep.
I'm gonna work on the next chapter tomorrow! I hope this one was alright!
The Crystal Kingdom
Hi everyone! Here's a new chapter! This one is probably the longest chapter that I have ever written. I hope you like it :)
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs
Today was the day. Bowser and his family were going to invade the Crystal Kingdom. Bowser was the most excited for it. He just knew everything would work out! As the Koopa Troop got everything ready, the family got to rest for a few hours before departing. The kids were in the game room playing video games, on their phones, or reading as they waited to leave.
"I wonder what the others are up to." Iggy said.
"Well, I'm playing this game online with Johnny." Larry snickered. "I bet he's so annoyed that I'm winning again!"
"I can't wait to go there! I wanna see all of the stores! Maybe even buy some new jewelry!" Wendy smiled.
"Yeah, maybe we should take over the kingdom first before you go shopping, Wendy." Iggy chuckled.
"Fine. Ugh, the one time I'm excited for an invasion, and we have to wait hours to leave!" Wendy groaned.
Iggy shook his head and chuckled again at his sister. He glanced down at his phone, looking through Tiana's art. He found her drawings cute and knew that she'll improve more as she continues practicing. He sat his phone down and closed his eyes, wanting to rest. Then, his phone vibrated. When he picked it up, Iggy saw that he had a text from Tiana.
"Hey Iggy! When are you guys leaving?"
Iggy smiled and texted back, "In a few hours."
"What's got you smiling?" Iggy looked up and saw Wendy standing in front of him.
He quickly closed his messages and smiled sheepishly. "Uh, just looking up some new wrenches and screwdrivers."
Wendy rolled her eyes. "Seriously, Iggy? Why look at tools when we're about to head to a beautiful kingdom?"
"Yeah!" Lemmy chimed in, "You can look at those another day, bro!"
Iggy sighed and smiled slightly. "I guess you guys are right."
Hours went by and everyone prepared to leave. Wendy excitedly rushed outside, making her brothers either roll their eyes or laugh. They walked outside along with Bowser and Clawdia, making their way towards the airship. As Iggy walked closer, he heard someone running in their direction.
"Huh?" Iggy turned and grinned broadly when he saw a familiar Koopa girl with purple glasses, her black hair pulled up in a ponytail, a purple shell, red bands on her wrists, and wearing red shoes, racing toward him. "Tia!"
"Iggy!" Tiana smiled when she made it to him.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
Tiana caught her breath and said, "I wanted to see you all before you left. Especially you, Iggy."
Iggy blushed. "Really?"
"Yeah!" Tiana giggled. "You're my best friend."
Iggy felt a pang. Best friend? Really? Is that all he'll ever be to her? He pushed that feeling aside and smiled. "Well, I'm happy you came. I'm glad I got to see you before we leave."
Tiana walked closer to Iggy and wrapped him in a hug. "Good luck, Iggy."
Iggy returned the hug, his heart fluttering. "Thanks. I'll try to talk to you later."
Tiana and Iggy pulled away and smiled at each other. After saying goodbye to everyone, Tiana turned and walked away. Iggy smiled softly as he watched her, but stopped when he heard some of his siblings laughing. He turned to face them and raised an eyebrow.
"You must've been very excited to see her." Morton chuckled.
"What are you talking about?" Iggy asked.
Roy smirked and pointed. "Dude, your tail's been wagging since she showed up."
"Huh?" Iggy turned his head and saw that Roy was right. Blushing, Iggy stopped his tail and glared at his siblings. "Shut up! Let's just get on the airship already!" Iggy walked past them, trying his best to ignore their laughs and jokes.
Daisy arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom, carrying her gift for Princess Krystal. She and her friends were going to leave for the Crystal Kingdom in a few hours, so they needed to make sure that they were ready. Once she made it to Toad Town, she walked down the path towards Peach's castle.
"Hey, Daisy!" She turned around and smiled seeing two of her friends walking towards her, also carrying gifts.
"Mario! Luigi!" Daisy gave Luigi a kiss when they got closer, making him blush a little. "I guess you're on your way to Peach's too, huh?"
"Yep!" Mario smiled and followed them to the castle. When they arrived, they saw Peach outside the front doors waiting for them.
"Hello, everyone!" Peach greeted and opened the doors for them.
Everyone entered the castle and made their way to the living room. As the others sat down, Peach grabbed the book on the Crystal Kingdom off of the bookshelf again and looked through it.
"I can't wait to see this place in person!" Peach smiled. "The photos look so stunning!"
"Just a few hours, Peach." Daisy winked at her.
As the time went by, everyone made sure that they were ready and had their gifts. The bros and princesses left the castle and walked through Toad Town until they arrived in front of Peach's pink and white blimp. Once they were on board, the blimp rose into the air and soared through the Mushroom Kingdom. They looked out of the window, staring down at the world below. Eventually, Peach noticed that they were flying by the Beanbean Kingdom and started to wonder, who else would be at the party? Were Prince Peasley and Queen Bean invited? Princess Eclair?
Mario's voice brought Peach out of her thoughts. "Peach? Are you alright?"
Peach smiled. "Yes. I was just wondering, who else do you think will be there?"
"Huh. You know, I never really thought about that." Mario replied.
"I'm sure some of our other friends were invited too." Luigi smiled.
"Hey!" Daisy chimed in, "What if we meet some new people there? Like kings and princesses from other kingdoms that we've never visited before!"
Peach smiled brightly. "You're right, Daisy! Wow, now I really can't wait to get there!"
Then, Peach heard someone snoring near her. She turned to her left and saw Luigi fast asleep next to Mario, his head almost resting on Mario's shoulder. Mario and the girls did their best to hold in their laughter and sat in silence for the remainder of the flight.
Luigi yawned and stretched, finally waking up from his nap. He looked out of the window and saw a kingdom below, with stars and stardust around it. He shrugged and closed his eyes.
Wait. Stardust?
Luigi opened his eyes and his eyebrows rose in surprise when he looked out of the window again. He gasped and smiled, facing the others. "Guys, look! We're here!"
Mario and the princesses also gasped when they peered out the window. They were high in the air, but the crystals that they were able to see caught the sunlight, creating a beautiful iridescence that shimmered in every color of the rainbow. The blimp soon touched the ground, and the four of them walked out, gazing around in amazement and wonder. They've arrived in Geode City, a large, populated area in the kingdom. There were many theaters, hotels, schools, and a park. The city was decorated with balloons and streamers for the party.
"Whoa... this is incredible!" Daisy exclaimed as she admired the crystals near her.
"Hello!" The four turned their heads away from the scenery and a light blue-clad Toad girl standing in front of them. "I'm Melody! You must be the Mario Bros. and Princesses Peach and Daisy, right?"
Daisy grinned. "Yep! That's us!"
Melody smiled. "Wonderful! Princess Krystal asked me to bring you all to the castle. Please follow me."
As Melody led them through Geode City, Mario and his friends looked around. They saw many Toads, a few Yoshis, humans, Shy Guys, and Crystal Toads around the city, having a great time. As they walked through Druse Square, a thought occurred to Peach.
"So Melody, you work in the castle?" Peach asked. "You seem so young!"
Melody giggled. "Oh, I'm eleven! I only help clean or fetch items or people for the princess." Melody waved to a Crystal Toad. "My friend Dorian does the same for Prince Sterling in Stardust Land."
At last they finally reached the large, pink crystal castle. Melody led them inside, chuckling as she heard Mario and the others gasp in amazement at the interior. After walking through the halls, they finally arrived in the throne room. Inside they saw a young man with short blonde hair and wearing a gold crown with blue jewels, a blue shirt, white pants with a brown belt, and brown shoes, his back facing them. He was standing near the throne, a small gift in his hand.
"Can I open this now?" They heard a female voice ask.
The man chuckled. "You don't wanna wait until later?"
The woman laughed. "I can't wait! I'm too curious and excited!"
They watched as the man handed the woman the gift. After tearing off the wrapping paper, she opened the small box and gasped, seeing brand new blue earrings inside.
"I wanted to buy you this since you misplaced your old pair." He said.
She put them on and smiled. "Thanks, Sterling! I love them!"
Sterling kissed her cheek. "No problem!"
"Awww!" The two blushed and Sterling turned around to see Melody and the others in the throne room.
Sterling moved to the right and the others got a better look at the woman. She had long white hair and wore a gold crown with pink jewels, short white gloves, and a magenta colored dress with a white sash around the waist. She looked at Melody, her face still red.
"Melody! W-We didn't hear you guys come in!"
Melody chuckled. "I know." She walked closer. "I did what you asked and brought everyone!"
The Princess smiled. "Thank you, Melody." She and Sterling walked over to them. "Welcome to the Crystal Kingdom! I'm Princess Krystal. And this is Prince Sterling, ruler of Stardust Land."
"It's so nice to meet you all." Sterling smiled. "We were so excited to meet you."
"Sterling here was really excited to meet you, Princess Peach." Krystal chuckled. "When I told him that I sent you the invitation, he wouldn't stop talking about wanting to see you in person."
"You wanted to see me?" Peach asked.
Sterling nodded, smiling more. "I actually bought Krystal's new earrings from your jewelry brand." Sterling's smile widened slightly.
"Prince Sterling, why did you wanna meet Princess Peach so badly?" Melody smirked.
"Because," Sterling looked at Peach, "You and I are distant cousins!"
Peach and the others gasped. "We are?"
Sterling's grin widened, making Krystal giggle. "Yes! When I was younger, I was bored one day in the castle and decided to read a book on Stardust Land's history." Melody held in a laugh, noticing Sterling's excitement. "As I read through it, I learned that down the line, a prince and princess of the Mushroom Kingdom were born, and the princess left when she got older and established Stardust Land!" Sterling chuckled. "I've wanted to meet you ever since, but I wasn't able to until now!"
"Oh my... that... that's amazing!" Peach said.
As they talked, Luigi looked around the throne room, finding it beautiful. Then, his eyes landed on the throne and saw two objects sitting on it. A gray rod with a multicolored jewel on it and right next to it was a rainbow pastel colored crystal.
"Oh wow! Is that a Wish Crystal?" Luigi asked as he pointed at it.
Krystal smiled and walked over to the throne. She picked up both objects and showed everyone. "Yep! I made it with this wand!" Krystal walked back over to everyone so they could get a closer look. "This wand works like every other wand, but I also use it to grow crystals, since the ones I grow with my hands are small." Krystal chuckled. "I also use it to cleanse my castle and the other crystal buildings here when it's not sunny!"
Peach gazed at the crystal and smiled. "We actually wanted to ask you about them."
"Well," Krystal smiled, "I made these crystals with my wand to make my people happy. And I thought they'd be nice to have."
"That's so cool! Y'know, I'm able to grow crystals too!" Daisy replied.
"Oh, I know! I've seen you all play soccer on tv." Krystal pointed at Daisy. "You were always my favorite player!"
Daisy blushed and thanked her. Mario then turned to Sterling and asked, "Prince Sterling? Do you have any special powers?"
Sterling smiled. "Yeah! I can make stardust." He waved his hand, making stardust appear in front of everyone, before making it disappear.
Krystal smiled and sat her wand and Wish Crystal back on the throne. "Let's all join everyone in Druse Square."
She took Sterling's hand and they led everyone to the party in the center of the kingdom.
The party started and everyone was having a great time. Some people were eating while others were either playing games, dancing, or talking with their friends. Luigi grinned, seeing two familiar people talking to each other.
"Hey! It's Prince Peasley and Princess Eclair!" Luigi took Daisy's hand. "Come on! I wanna introduce you to them!"
"Haha, ok, Luigi, but slow down!" Daisy exclaimed as Luigi began to run.
Mario watched with amusement as his brother and friend rushed over to the prince and princess. He took a sip of his soda and smiled. So many people were invited! He saw some familiar people like the rulers of the Beanbean Kingdom along with King Fret and Prince Pine of Jewelry Land. But he also saw some rulers that he had never met before. There was a princess who seemed to be from a snowy region, another from a tropical area, and even an empress with a cloud-like dress!
Mario was about to turn to talk with Peach when he heard someone exclaim, "Oh my gosh! It's really him!"
"Huh?" Mario and Peach turned around and saw a young princess running up to them, her long brown hair flying behind her. Then, they noticed two people running after her.
"Honey, wait!" The man said.
Once the three arrived, Mario and Peach got a better look at them. The man and woman wore different shades of green in their outfits, along with a green cape. The young princess wore a pink and blue dress, white gloves, and a gold crown on her head like the other two. The princess grinned as she looked at Mario.
"You! You're the famous Super Mario, right?" She asked.
Mario chuckled, seeing the young girl trying to contain her excitement. "Yep! It's-a me!"
The princess curtsied and said, "My name name is Princess Esmeralda." She looked at the adults behind her. "And these are my parents, King Malachite and Queen Flora. We're from the Floral Kingdom." Esmeralda looked back at Mario and grinned. "I've heard about your adventures and I've always wanted to meet you!" Esmeralda pulled out her phone. "May I take a picture with you? Please?"
Mario gave her a smile. "Of course!"
As Mario and Esmeralda took a picture together, Peach walked over to her parents. "It's so lovely to meet you."
"Likewise, Princess." Malachite smiled and looked around. "I love this place so much."
"You've been here before?" Peach asked.
Flora replied, "Malachite was originally from here, before marrying me and becoming king of the Floral Kingdom."
"I even named our daughter after my favorite gem, Emerald!" Malachite added.
Peach smiled. "Wow! That's amazing!"
It was finally time for Krystal to open her presents and the princess was really excited! Melody gave her a makeup set and perfume from 'Peach Cosmetics' and Luigi gave her a Yoshi toy. Mario, Peach, and Daisy ended up giving her the exact same pink purse, but Krystal laughed and said it's good to have extras. Once she finished opening her gifts, Krystal thanked everyone for them and for attending her birthday party. Pretty soon, it was getting late and the party was ending.
Krystal waved to a few Crystal Toads that walked by. "Bye, Amethyst! Bye, Pearl! Thanks for coming, Jasper! Thanks for the gift, Beryl! See ya tomorrow, Alexandrite! Bye, Crystalia!"
Krystal began to approach Mario and the others, but then...
BOOM! Everyone gasped and looked up at the sky. Two airships were heading towards them, with Bob-Ombs being thrown down from both. As the airships landed, Koopa Troopas, Paratroopas, and other enemies walked out. Then, Bowser and his family walked out of the first airship. Mario and the others walked closer.
Mario gave the Koopa King a fierce look. "Bowser! What are you doing here?"
"Wha—The Marios?! Why are they here?" Larry cried out.
"We asked first!" Daisy replied.
Then, they saw more Koopas emerge from the second airship. One of them, the female Koopa, walked over to Bowser.
"So, those guys are the Mario Bros., Bowsie?"
Bowser glared at her, hearing Mario and Luigi snort at the nickname. "Yeah, sis. That's them."
Mario, Luigi, and Daisy gasped. "Sis?!"
"That's right!" Peach said. "I remember Bowser telling me about his sister when he had me trapped in his castle one time."
Mario noticed a Question Block nearby, ran towards it and hit it, and found...
"A Crystal Mushroom!" Mario stared at the unfamiliar power-up in his hand.
The others looked around, trying to find more Question Blocks. After finding them, they hit the blocks and also got Crystal Mushrooms. They ate the mushrooms and gasped, seeing their clothing was crystalizing. A Hammer Bro. threw a hammer in their direction, but they stepped aside.
"We can admire this later!" Daisy exclaimed. "Let's do this!"
Mario and his friends threw crystal balls at Bowser's and Clawdeen's minions, trapping them inside crystals. As the guests fled in an attempt to reach safety, Krystal gazed around in terror. She then approached the rainbow crystal, Druse Square's centerpiece, where Sterling, Melody, and Dorian were standing nearby.
"Sterling, Dorian, you two need to head back to Stardust Land. Melody, go home with your parents and please be safe." She said,
"Wait, seriously?" Sterling asked.
"Right!" Dorian added, "We can help stop them."
Krystal shook her head. "No. I don't want any of you getting hurt."
Sterling sighed and kissed Krystal. "Alright. I'll make sure Melody gets home safely."
Krystal watched as the others left, hoping that they wouldn't be harmed. Once they were out of sight, Krystal made her way to her castle. When Alex realized this, she informed her family. Mario and his friends lost their crystal powers after getting hit by Bowser's fireballs. While they were trying to recover, the Koopas ran out of Druse Square and to the castle. When they went inside, Alex spoke up.
"There she is!" She yelled, pointing to Krystal, who was standing in the hallway.
Trembling, Krystal began sprinting through the halls, the Koopas in pursuit. Soon, she and the Koopas arrived in the throne room. Krystal looked around, unable to find a place to hide or a way to escape.
"Bowser!" Everyone turned around to see Mario, Luigi, and the princesses who finally caught up with them.
Ignoring them, Bowser turned to face Krystal. His eyes then widened as he noticed the crystal wand and Wish Crystal resting on the throne. Before Krystal could even attempt to reach them, Bowser sprinted to the throne and snatched them both.
"At last..." Bowser smiled broadly. "I finally have the Wish Crystal!" He gazed at the Wish Crystal in his hand and loudly said, "I wish to take over the Crystal Kingdom!"
Mario's eyes widened. "NO!"
Two minutes passed and nothing happened. Bowser looked at the Wish Crystal with a raised eyebrow. "What gives? Nothing happened!"
Bowser snarled when he heard Krystal laughing.
"Hahaha! That's not how you use the Wish Crystals!" Krystal wiped a tear from her eye. "Your wishes will only work if the wish is positive and won't harm anyone."
Bowser scoffed. "Seriously? This thing is dumb!"
He tossed the Wish Crystal toward the others, Iggy catching it. The bespectacled Koopaling stared at the oval-shaped gem, intrigued by it. Mario and the others gasped as Bowser waved the crystal wand. A wall of dark pink crystals surrounded Krystal and trapped her inside.
"Hey! Let me out!" Krystal yelled.
"Princess Krystal!" Before Mario or his friends could react, Bowser waved the wand again, trapping each of them inside crystals.
That's it for now :D I might rest tomorrow and work on the next chapter on Saturday. I dunno yet.
So, early last year, I thought about making Sterling and Peach distant cousins and making Rosalina and her brother their ancestors. Also, I decided to replace the Power Crystal (sorta) with the Crystal Wand and the Wish Crystals. I honestly couldn't come up with anything better involving that Power Crystal. I even thought about making it similar to the Shikon Jewel from Inuyasha and/or having Bowser and the others use it's power to corrupt Krystal, but I still couldn't come up with anything good.
Also, this is the only chapter (if I'm remembering correctly lol) where Esmeralda and her parents appear. Their kingdom won't make an appearance in this version of the story. I don't know how or when, but I'm sure I'll come up with a story idea where Mario and his friends visit the Floral Kingdom :)
Getting Help
Hi guys! I'm back with a new chapter!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
"Are you sure it's safe to go to the castle?" Melody's mother wondered.
Her father looked out of the window. "I still see Koopas and the other creatures from yesterday out there..."
Melody gave them a hug and smiled. "Don't worry, guys. I'll be alright." Melody walked over to her shoes by the door and slipped them on. "I'm sure the princess is fine and she's working on a solution to get these guys out of here!"
Her parents exchanged worried glances, but finally relented. Her mother hugged her again and said, "Alright, but please be careful, dear!"
"I will! See ya!"
Melody let out a quiet gasp as she left her home. A few crystal clusters around town were destroyed during the attack yesterday, but a few people were helping clean up the mess. She frowned, but tried to stay positive. Hopefully the princess is alright...
After a few minutes, she reached the castle and entered, waving to a few maids that were cleaning. When she arrived in the throne room, Melody gasped. Not only was the princess trapped inside the crystal wall and Bowser had her wand, but Mario and the others were also trapped inside of crystals!
Melody shuddered a little. "Oh no..."
"Hey!" She saw Larry pointing at her. "I remember you! You're that Toad girl John and I met in the forest that time!"
Melody stood there, horrified as she let that sink in. "No way! THAT's the kid that I thought was cute!?"
Once Larry turned to the others, Melody pushed her feelings aside and rushed over to the crystal wall. She peered inside and saw the princess sitting there, staring at the floor.
"Princess..." She whispered, getting her attention. "I can't believe this happened."
Krystal smiled. "Don't worry, Melody. Everything will be fine."
Melody then grinned, getting an idea. "Wait! We can use the Wish Crystals to wish everything back to normal! I bet they'll—"
Two Sledge Bros. entered the throne room, carrying a large box. "Lord Bowser! We found all of the Wish Crystals!"
Melody internally screamed as Bowser took the box from the Sledge Bros.
"Excellent! Now none of those guys will try to use it's magic against me!" Bowser looked at the kids. "Since we already won and Iggy already has a crystal, the rest of you kids can take a Wish Crystal. I don't have a use for them anyways."
The rest of the kids rushed over to the box, each grabbing a Wish Crystal. Wendy squealed as she looked at hers. "Wow! They're even more beautiful in person!"
While the Koopas were distracted, Krystal whispered to Melody. "Melody, since Mario and the others are also trapped, can you go to Stardust Land and get Sterling's help? I know I was worried about you guys getting hurt last night, but you're our only hope right now."
Melody nodded. "Of course, Princess."
Krystal watched as Melody quietly left the throne room. She then heard Clawdia say, "So, what should we do now?"
"I dunno. Let's explore this castle, I guess." Bowser shrugged.
"Ok! The rest of us will look around the kingdom." Austin said.
The Koopas left the throne room, leaving Krystal alone.
"Aw man!" Alex exclaimed when they made it outside. "We could've used those dumb rocks Ludwig and Iggy made for us last night! I can't believe none of us used them!"
"Ahem! They're called Power Crystals." Iggy replied.
"Wow," Alex remarked sarcastically, "That's such a creative name!"
Ludwig rolled his eyes. "Whatever. At least they work."
"How do they even work if none of us even tried them?" Theodore asked.
Iggy also rolled his eyes. "Ludwig and I tested them out already."
Larry got bored of their discussion and looked around the area. Then, he raised an eyebrow as he saw Melody leaving.
"Where is she going?"
Larry spoke up. "You guys stay here. I'll be right back."
Melody eventually reached Stardust Land after running through the forest. She scurried over to the castle and went inside, searching for the prince. Eventually, Melody found him and Dorian in the throne room. Sterling smiled, but it vanished when he saw the look on her face.
"Melody? What's wrong?" He asked.
Melody inhaled deeply and looked at him. "We... I... T-The Princess."
Dorian stopped his dusting and walked over to his friend. He rubbed her back, trying to calm her down. "It's ok, Mel. You can tell us."
After doing more deep breathing, Melody calmed down and explained the situation to them both. Sterling jumped from his throne and Dorian gasped.
"Oh no! Bowser trapped Mario and the others?!" Dorian exclaimed.
"So, Prince Sterling, can you help me?" Melody asked.
Sterling smiled. "Of course, Melody." He walked closer to the children. "We should get going then."
Dorian frowned. "I wish I could help out too, but I have a lot of cleaning to do."
"It's ok, Dori." Melody gave her friend a hug. "Well, I guess we'll see you later."
Dorian nodded and wished them good luck as they walked out of the throne room, not noticing a certain Koopaling spying on them.
"Larry? What's the matter?" Bowser asked, staring at his phone screen and seeing his son running through the forest.
"We-We have a problem!" Larry replied as he continued running.
Larry made his way back to the Crystal Kingdom and met up with his siblings and cousins, still standing where he last saw them. They looked at him, trying to figure out what was wrong. After catching his breath, Larry explained what he saw and heard to everyone. When he was done, the kids heard Bowser groan in frustration.
"Alright," Bowser said, "You kids stop those two from coming here."
"Right!" Talisa excitedly bounced, "Don't worry, Uncle Bowser! We can stop those guys easily!"
Larry put his phone away once Bowser hung up.
"I have an idea," Ludwig spoke up, "Why don't we all team up and head to different locations in the kingdom?"
"That could work! Yeah, let's do that!" Austin replied.
"Wait!" The others looked at Sandra. She looked down at the Wish Crystal in her hands and back at everyone else. "We should really test these out first." Everyone watched as Sandra held the crystal to her heart. "I wish I could write stories better."
The others gasped as a brilliant glow surrounded Sandra. The light gradually went out after a few seconds, and Sandra was left standing there grinning.
"Sandy? Are you alright?" Austin asked his younger sister.
"I... I finally understand now." Sandra's smile widened. "I know how to write amazing stories!" She then turned to Ken. "Kenny! You can wish for better drawing skills!"
Sandra gasped when he replied, "Nah."
Alex asked, "What? Why not?"
Ken shrugged. "I'm not that interested in drawing anymore. I wanna improve my clay art, but I think I'll do that on my own."
"Honestly, I don't really care about these Wish Crystals anymore." Alex said, walking toward the castle. "I'm gonna put mine back in the box."
"I'm gonna put my crystal back too." Sandra followed behind her. "My one wish has already come true."
After making a single, tiny wish, one by one each Koopa kid went inside to return their Wish Crystal, losing interest in it. Well, everyone, except for one Koopaling.
"Iggy?" Iggy looked up to see Sharon in front of him. "Aren't you going to return your crystal?"
He shook his head and said, "No. I think I'll hold onto it for a while."
Once everyone had gone back outside, Ludwig decided to pair everyone up. He reluctantly agreed to team up with Austin and head to Druse Square. Talisa and Junior were paired up and were told to go to Agate Field. Lemmy and Sandra were going to Diamond Valley, much to Sandra's dismay. Iggy and Sharon were instructed to go to Amethyst Falls. Morton and Theodore agreed to team up and chose to stay in Crystal Cavern on Opal Beach, where Wendy and Ken decided to go.
"I guess Roy and I will go to Prism Town." Alex said.
Ludwig nodded. "And Larry and John will be in Geode City."
Larry said, "Well, alright then. Let's get going!"
After that, the kids went their separate ways. Iggy followed Sharon to Amethyst Falls, gazing at the Wish Crystal in his hand.
I'll try to post the next chapter either Tuesday or Wednesday!
Questions
Hi! So, my plan was to post this chapter yesterday, but I was out with my aunt and when I got home, I was too tired. But here it is! I hope you like it!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
"Oh my gosh! You guys actually did it? That's incredible!"
Iggy and Sharon were now in Amethyst Falls, a jungle/desert area of the Crystal Kingdom. Right now, the two were sitting by a tree on the jungle side of Amethyst Falls. Iggy decided to call Tiana and tell her everything that happened.
"Hehe yeah. I would've told you sooner, but we were kinda busy." Iggy replied. He then showed Tiana his Wish Crystal. "You know, if you want, I could always wish for you to improve your drawing and writing skills."
Tiana shook her head and smiled. "No. I'd rather try improving on my own first. But thanks. You're really sweet, Iggy."
Iggy blushed a little. "W-Well, um, I'll talk to you later, Tia."
"Ok. Bye!"
Iggy blushed deeper as Sharon laughed when he hung up. Then he looked down at the Wish Crystal in his hand. He couldn't believe it! Although he had heard that people could manifest their wishes and desires with normal crystals, he never truly believed that it could work. He was more of a science Koopa. However, witnessing Sandra's wish immediately coming true with a magical crystal like this...
Was he wrong? Were normal crystals magical like he read? Were they just as powerful as these Wish Crystals?
"What kinds of wishes can these crystals grant anyway?" He wondered.
Sharon shrugged. "I guess it's like the princess said before. Anything positive. I mean, Sandra's crystal worked and her wish came true." Sharon pulled out a deck of cards. "And the rest of us wished for smaller things like these cards." Sharon chuckled. "Of course Tali and Junior would wish for candy. They are little kids after all."
Iggy's eyes lit up as he got an idea. As Sharon put away her new playing cards, Iggy got up, causing her to raise an eyebrow in confusion.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"I'll be right back." Iggy replied. Wondering what her older cousin was up to, Sharon watched him leave Amethyst Falls in silence.
After a few minutes, Iggy reached the crystal castle and entered, heading for the throne room. But when he got there, he spotted his parents, aunt, and uncle.
"Oh no! I can't go in there! Not with the others anyway!" He quickly backed further into the hallway and hid behind a plant, listening in on their conversation.
"Bowser, you won't get away with this!" He heard Krystal say. "Sterling and Melody will stop you all and save everyone!"
Bowser laughed. "But I already have!" He smirked as he looked at the princess. "Besides, the kids will take care of that prince and Toad."
"Why are you guys even in here?" Krystal asked.
Clawdia replied, "Making sure you don't try to escape."
"And just to be safe..."
Bowser, using Krystal's wand, raised the height of the crystal wall enclosing the princess. Then, he walked over to the box containing all of the Wish Crystals, and waved the wand again, making a chain appear around it. Iggy crouched down lower as he heard his family's footsteps getting closer, hoping they didn't see him.
"Now what do we do?" Clawdeen wondered, "It'll be awhile before those two get here, unless the kids stop them."
Clawdeen let out an "oof" as she felt Langston wrapping his arms around her and kissing her neck.
"I can think of a few things we can do..."
Clawdeen giggled. "Langston! Stop it!"
"Yes, please stop!" Bowser agreed, a disgusted and horrified look now on his face.
Langston chuckled and let go of Clawdeen. Bowser shook his head and looked at Clawdia. "You wanna go watch something?"
"Sure." Clawdia took his hand and followed him to the living room.
As Langston and Clawdeen went to another room, Iggy shuddered. He tried to push his aunt and uncle's interaction out of his mind and moved from his hiding spot. He hesitated for a second before slowly entering the throne room. He approached the crystal wall and peeked inside, seeing the crystal princess. She was sitting on the floor and her back was facing him, but it seemed like she was lost in her thoughts.
"Princess Krystal?" Krystal gasped and turned around, seeing the tall Koopaling. She rose gently from the floor and looked at him.
"Y-Yes?" She answered. She then noticed the Wish Crystal in his hand. "Wait... I thought you all returned those."
"I uh, I wanted to hold onto it a little longer." Iggy cleared his throat. "Actually, I came here to talk to you about these crystals."
"Oh, well, alright. What do you want to know?" She asked.
Iggy glanced down at the crystal and looked back at the princess. "What kinds of wishes can these crystals grant?"
"Well," Krystal began, "You can't wish for anything bad, like taking over a kingdom like your dad tried." Krystal giggled. "You can make positive wishes, like a new outfit, sweets, or even wishing to become a parent if you're having trouble with that." Krystal smiled. "They can be really helpful for things you want to happen immediately if you can't wait longer."
Iggy said, "My family wished for material items too. But wait. What's the point of having stores and malls if you can just wish for those things?"
Krystal chuckled. "That does sound weird, doesn't it? Well, there are limitations on how often you can wish for those things. So, if someone wanted to buy a new game or they really needed something from the grocery store but aren't able to go for some reason, they could wish for it. But, it'll only work once a day. They'll still have to spend gold or purple coins after that if they need something else."
"Ah, I guess that makes sense." Iggy said. He then asked, "Can you... can you wish for someone to fall in love with you?"
Krystal nodded. "Yes, you can. Why? Is that a wish you want to make?"
Iggy blushed. "N-No! I was asking for a friend."
Krystal smirked, knowing that he was lying.
Iggy quickly relaxed and asked her, "Have you ever wished for that?"
"Well, I have thought about it once. I was probably around your age." Krystal replied. "When I first fell in love with Prince Sterling, I thought about wishing for him to love me too." Krystal smiled as she recalled that moment. "But I decided against it because I wanted him to fall in love with me naturally." Krystal giggled. "He actually was in love with me the whole time too!"
Iggy nodded, understanding where she was coming from. It made sense. He looked at the Wish Crystal again and then at the princess.
"Well, I guess that's all I wanted to know." Iggy smiled. "Thanks for the info!"
Krystal watched as Iggy left the throne room. She let out a sigh and sat down again, staring at the floor.
"I hope things will be back to normal soon..."
Iggy left the palace and stood in front of the front doors. He looked at the Wish Crystal again, wanting to make a wish, but he stopped himself.
"Should I really wish for that?" Iggy thought to himself. "Should I just tell Tia how I feel when I'm ready, and see if she feels the same? Or... should I wish for her to fall in love with me?"
Iggy spent several minutes debating with himself. Finally, he decided to make a wish.
I'll try to work on the next chapter tomorrow :)
Geode City
Hi! Here's chapter 9!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Iggy returned to Amethyst Falls, finding Sharon in the same spot where he last saw her. She had her new cards out again and was reading the rules for the game. She looked up when she saw Iggy's shadow.
"Oh great, you're back!" She grinned. "I thought we could play this game together since it will be a while before we need to fight."
"Sure! By the way, I made a wish."
Sharon gasped. "You did?"
Iggy nodded, reached into his shell, and pulled out a brand new wrench. He briefly showed it to her before putting it away.
"I needed a new one for awhile now." He said.
After placing the deck of cards on the ground, Sharon stood up. She walked over to Iggy and punched him in the arm.
"Ow!" Iggy cried out, rubbing his arm, "What was that for?"
"Iggy, we all know that you're in love with Tiana," Sharon frowned, "Why didn't you wish for you two to be together?"
"Because I'm not sure yet if I wanna make that wish."
Sharon sighed and sat back down. Iggy, after rubbing where Sharon punched him, sat down with her. After reading the rules again out loud this time, Sharon gave Iggy some cards.
Melody and Sterling went to the nearest shop in Stardust Land to buy some power-ups. Once they had enough, the two made their way out of the kingdom and through the forest. They ran into a few Goombas and Koopa Troopas, but Melody jumped on one of the Koopas and kicked its shell, knocking down the rest. After dealing with Bowser's minions, they finally arrived in the Crystal Kingdom and walked through Geode City. The two immediately saw Larry and John standing by a building, waiting for them. Melody rolled her eyes as the boys got into a fighting stance. Then, as she watched the two take out a crystal—one red, the other light blue—she gasped.
"W-What's that?" She asked.
"My brothers made these." Larry chuckled. "Iggy calls them 'Power Crystals' or something."
Both Sterling and Melody took a power-up out of their pockets. Sterling used an Ice Flower while Melody used a Gold Flower. Sterling threw ice balls at them, but John and Larry dodged them.
"Wait! Ludwig and Iggy didn't tell us how to use these!" John exclaimed, dodging a gold fireball.
Larry, avoiding another attack, hid behind a building and frantically texted his older brothers.
"C'mon! Text back!"
Two seconds later, Ludwig replied, explaining how to use the Power Crystals.
"Finally!" Larry rushed over to John, who was spitting fireballs at Melody and Sterling. "I know what to do!"
Sterling and Melody stopped attacking as they watched Larry whisper something to John. As Sterling threw another ice ball, John held the crystal to his lips and whispered something to it. Then, a large crystal shield appeared, blocking the ice ball.
"What?" Melody threw a gold fireball, but John also blocked it.
Larry and John then used their crystals to mimic Sterling's and Melody's attacks. Larry shot ice balls from his crystal while John shot gold fireballs. Melody and Sterling did their best to avoid being struck by their attacks. As John shot more gold fireballs, he looked down at his crystal. A small crack was formed. He raised an eyebrow at it, but brushed it off and continued to shoot gold fireballs. Melody, avoiding their attacks, ran towards them and jumped on Larry's head.
"OW!" Larry dropped his crystal, making it fall to the ground and break into small pieces. "W-What?! My crystal!" Larry exclaimed, kneeling down and picking up a few pieces.
"Don't worry, Larry. We can still use mine." John said. Then, John's crystal broke, the pieces falling out of his hand. "Hey! What's going on? Why are our crystals breaking?!"
The two looked up as they heard Melody chuckling.
"It's probably because of the negative energy that you Koopas have."
With a grunt, Larry tossed the fragments of his crystal back onto the ground. He looked around the area and noticed a Question Block nearby. He approached it out of curiosity and hit the block, finding a Crystal Mushroom inside. John walked over to him to get a better look at the power-up.
"Can we even use it?" He asked.
Larry shrugged his shoulders. "It doesn't hurt to try."
After eating the mushroom, Larry's spiked cuffs and shell instantly took on a crystal-like appearance.
"Woah!" Larry smiled. "It actually worked!"
Larry, using the power-up, began to throw crystal balls. He threw one at Melody, trapping her inside of a crystal. Three seconds later, the crystal broke, releasing her. Sadly, Melody's power-up was gone. Sterling reached into his pocket and pulled out a Fire Flower. He threw fireballs at the boys, making Larry lose his power-up.
Melody was almost hit by John's fireballs, but she moved out of the way just in time. As she got closer to him, she jumped into the air and landed on his head. John screamed and retreated into his shell. He began spinning around the area, almost bumping into Larry.
"Hey! Don't hit me!" Larry shouted.
Sterling jumped on Larry's head, making him also hide in his shell. Larry's shell hit Sterling, making him lose his fire powers. Melody jumped on John's head again, making him spin around in his shell. After a few seconds, Larry and John popped out of their shells and took out their wands. They shot energy blasts at Melody and Sterling, but the two of them were able to get out of the way in time. John started to spit more fireballs at Sterling, but missed.
Sterling took out another Fire Flower and started to throw more fireballs. The fireballs hit the boys, making them cry out in pain and frustration. Soon, Larry and John collapsed to the ground, finally defeated.
Melody cheered and hopped up and down. "Alright! We did it!"
Larry groaned as he lifted his head. "D-Don't think you've won... you still gotta fight our siblings."
"What? What do you mean?" Melody asked, making Larry roll his eyes.
"Duh. They're all over this kingdom. We're all supposed to stop you both from ruining my dad's plan."
Melody turned to Sterling. "Oh no! We gotta stop them quickly!"
Sterling looked around and smiled. "Hey! Doesn't that Warp Pipe lead to Prism Town?" He asked. He spoke again after Melody nodded. "Well, let's head there first!"
Melody beamed. "Ok!"
John and Larry groaned again as the two walked past them. Sterling jumped down the Warp Pipe first with Melody following close behind.
I'm gonna be out with my aunt again tomorrow, but if I have time, I'll try to post the next chapter!
Prism Town
My aunt ended up changing her appointment from today to next Tuesday, so I can write! I hope you all like this chapter!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Larry rubbed his head as he and John sat against a building. After their fight with Sterling and Melody, they decided to stay in Geode City to rest and heal. He couldn't believe they lost! Larry took out his phone and began to call the rest of their siblings, letting them know about the Crystal Mushroom and where Melody and Sterling are currently headed. After speaking with Ludwig and Austin, Larry let out a sigh and hung up. After putting his phone away, he sighed again and looked at his feet, not knowing what else to do.
"Well... maybe Roy and Alex will have better luck."
John groaned, feeling a sharp pain in his head. "Let's hope so."
In Prism Town, Roy and Alex were wandering around, searching for Crystal Mushrooms. They were the first to be called by Larry since Melody and Sterling were headed there. They came across some Question Blocks and normal Brick Blocks, but only found either coins or Super Mushrooms inside. Roy surveyed the area, noticing houses, shops, and a park close by. He walked down the street near a restaurant, but didn't see another Question Block or Brick Block.
"Ya see any yet?" He called out to Alex.
"Nope!" She yelled back. "There ain't any blocks over here!"
Alex caught up with him after looking near a store. They walked across the street in silence until Alex gasped. "Hey! There's one!"
She dashed over to the Brick Block that was near a streetlight. Alex jumped up and hit the block, only to growl in exasperation when she found a single coin inside.
"Oh, come on! How are we having trouble finding this stupid mushroom!?"
Roy and Alex walked to the other side of the street to search more. The two cousins got more annoyed when they didn't see another block. They were about to give up when Roy looked towards a cafe. Next to it was a Question Block in between two Crystal Blocks. He tapped Alex's arm and pointed to the blocks.
"Finally!" They said in unison.
Alex and Roy walked closer and closer to the blocks. Roy was prepared to punch it, when he and Alex cried out in pain as they felt fireballs strike them from behind.
"Ouch! What the heck?!"
They turned around to see Melody and Sterling behind them. Roy had a scowl on his face when he saw a fireball forming in Sterling's hand. Alex walked closer, rubbing the back of her head as she glared at them.
"What was that for, huh?!" She shouted.
Her question went unanswered by the two. Sterling continued to wield the fireball as they stood there, glaring at the Koopas. Roy pulled out his pink crystal, ready to fight. Alex did the same, taking out a yellow crystal. Sterling threw his fireball at Roy, but Roy ducked out of the way.
Alex looked down at her crystal. "I wonder..."
She held the crystal up to her lips and whispered. And then...
"YAAAAGH!" Sterling fell to the ground after being struck by a fireball and lost his power-up.
"Woah!" Alex chuckled. "We don't even have to waste our fire breath!"
Roy used his crystal, also shooting fireballs. He aimed them at Melody, but she ran away.
"EEEK!" Melody was almost hit by a fireball, but she hid behind a building.
Melody saw Sterling slowly rise as she peered out from her hiding place. He took an Ice Flower out of his pocket. The Prince threw ice balls at them, freezing the Koopas.
Sadly, they only stayed frozen for a few seconds before the ice broke apart, freeing them. Sterling stopped Roy before he could use his crystal again. The Prince jumped on his and Alex's heads.
If Sterling hadn't moved quickly enough, the Koopas would have struck him as they whirled around the area in their shells. They retreated into their shells a second time after Sterling stomped on their heads once more when they emerged from their shells. Roy and Alex, now out of their shells, shot more fireballs at Sterling. Sterling, still having his ice powers, threw ice balls at the fireballs, extinguishing them. He chuckled at Roy's roar after stopping more of their fireballs. He was nearly hit by Alex's fireball, but dodged it and extinguished more of their fireballs.
"Will ya stop putting out our fireballs already!?" Roy shouted.
One of Sterling's ice balls froze Alex, but the ice eventually cracked and broke apart. Melody, who remained hidden, observed Sterling's battle with the Koopa children.
"I need to help the Prince somehow!"
Melody shut her eyes and began to think. What could she do? If she runs out, she'll risk getting hit by a fireball.
Wait.
"Duh! I still have power-ups!"
Melody took out all of the power-ups she had purchased out of her pocket. She saw a Bubble Flower, a Super Mushroom, a few 1-Up Mushrooms, and...
"A Super Star!"
Melody put the rest of her power-ups away and glanced at the Super Star. She made her way back to Sterling and activated the power-up. Sterling grinned when he saw her.
"Melody! You're back!"
When Roy and Alex saw Melody running in their direction, their eyes grew wide. Melody caught up to them as they attempted to flee. She crashed into them as she got closer, knocking them down and finally stopping them. The star power ran out after a couple of seconds and Melody was back to normal. Sterling walked over to her and gave her a thumbs up. Melody looked down at the two Koopa cousins, who were lying on the ground, groaning in pain.
Then, she noticed their crystals.
Roy slowly lifted his head and his eyes grew, seeing what Melody was preparing to do.
"No! Wait!"
Melody's foot landed on the two Power Crystals, crushing them into tiny pieces. Alex and Roy stared at the broken crystals in horror. Alex reached for a piece and tried to use its magic, but nothing happened.
"Well, that's two more Koopas down!" Melody grinned.
"No!" Alex slammed her fists against the ground. "This sucks! We could've won!"
Sterling and Melody walked away from them, smiling brightly. They could do this! They can save the Crystal Kingdom! They will save the Crystal Kingdom! As they walked through Prism Town, they didn't notice a fireball coming towards them until Sterling finally saw it.
"Look out!" He grabbed Melody and held her close before she could get hit.
"W-Wha...?" Melody looked ahead and saw two Fire Bros. standing near a tree.
Sterling sat her down and looked at the two enemies across from them. He then looked at Melody and asked, "You ready?"
Melody, still a little shaken by the fireball, slowly relaxed and nodded. "Yeah."
The two ran towards the Fire Bros., ready to fight. One of the Fire Bros. threw a fireball at Sterling, but he dodged it. He then jumped on the Fire Bro's head, knocking him out. Unfortunately, Sterling lost his ice powers when the second Fire Bro. threw a fireball at him while he was distracted. He threw another fireball at Sterling, but he jumped out of the way. While the Fire Bro. was distracted, Melody ran towards him.
As she got closer, Melody jumped in the air and landed on the Fire Bro's head, defeating him.
"Phew! That was close!" Melody smiled at she looked ahead. "Oh! There's a Warp Pipe! I think that one leads to Diamond Valley!"
Melody and Sterling walked away from the Fire Bros. and made their way to the Warp Pipe.
I'm gonna try to post the next chapter tomorrow if I got time!
Diamond Valley
Hi! I hope you all like this chapter :)
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Lemmy giggled as he laid down in the snow, making another snow angel. Sandra looked at her smaller, but older cousin as if he was insane, shivering from the cold air.
"L-Lemmy! How are you not cold?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked once he finished making another snow angel.
"Lemmy, it's freezing here! Oh, if I had known we'd be in this area a few minutes earlier, I would've used that crystal and wished for scarves for the both of us!"
As Lemmy fell to the ground and began making another snow angel, Sandra looked around as she tried to keep herself warm. Diamond Valley was a very beautiful place. The homes and small shops looked inviting and cozy. As much as she hated the snow and chilly air, Sandra adored the way this place looked. She walked around until she came across some sticks. She assembled them and spat out a fireball onto them, making a fire.
Sandra sat down and smiled as she felt the warm heat from the fire. Finally, she wouldn't be cold anymore.
"Oh no!" Sandra looked up and her eyes widened, seeing a large snowball falling over. Lemmy, who was building a snowman, accidentally dropped the snowball as he was putting it on top of another.
The snowball fell onto the fire, putting it out. Sandra looked at Lemmy with a glare, making him sheepishly smile.
"Hehehe... sorry, Sandy."
Sterling and Melody jumped out of the Warp Pipe and looked around. Melody was right; they made it to Diamond Valley. Melody smiled as she saw the snow-covered houses and trees. She really loved Diamond Valley. Everything looked so cozy and peaceful! Well... when Koopas weren't attacking it anyways.
She frowned slightly as she saw a few Ice Bros. in the distance. "We should hurry..."
Sterling nodded and walked next to Melody through the snowy area. A group of Cooligans began sliding down some nearby ice and making their way to the two. Melody shrieked as they got closer. She and Sterling jumped on the Cooligans, knocking off their sunglasses and slowing them down as they slid away. When the Cooligans returned, they jumped on them again, finally stopping them.
A gust of wind past Melody and Sterling as they walked through the snow, causing them to shiver a little. The Ice Bros. noticed them as the two got closer and closer. The Ice Bro. standing on top of some Crystal Blocks threw his ice balls first. One of them nearly struck Sterling, but he avoided it. Melody sprinted over to the Ice Bro. on the ground and jumped out of the way as he threw an ice ball. She jumped again and landed on his head, making him fall in the snow.
The first Ice Bro. jumped down and landed in front of them. Melody and Sterling managed to avoid both of the ice balls he threw at them. Sterling ran towards him and jumped on the Ice Bro's head, finally defeating him. Melody hopped over the fallen Ice Bros. as she followed Sterling through the area. They ran into a few more Ice Bros., Cooligans, and even some Koopa Paratroopas. Luckily, it took them no time to stop Bowser's minions.
Sterling and Melody both let out a gasp as they past a few homes and stores. They could see Lemmy making a snow angel and Sandra blowing her breath into her hands to get some warmth. As Lemmy giggled again after finishing his newest snow angel, he turned his head and gasped. Sandra looked up when she heard him and also gasped, seeing the two heroes.
"Aw man! I was having so much fun!" Lemmy pouted and hopped onto his circus ball. He reached into his shell and pulled out two Crystal Mushrooms.
He tossed one to Sandra when she stood, still shivering slightly. Sterling and Melody watched as the Koopa cousins ate the mushrooms, their shells and spiked cuffs, along with Sandra's hair tie and shoes, becoming crystal-like. Lemmy and Sandra began hurling crystal balls, doing their best to hit the prince and Toad. Sadly for them, Melody and Sterling jumped and dodged their crystal balls. The two of them took out their own Crystal Mushrooms and ate them. They each trapped Sandra and Lemmy inside crystals, but the crystals broke after a few seconds, making the Koopas lose their own crystal powers.
Sterling trapped them both in another crystal and ran over to them. As soon as the crystals broke, he leaped into the air and landed on their heads. Lemmy and Sandra shrieked and retreated into their shells, spinning around. Sandra's shell almost hit Melody, but Melody ran to a nearby tree to get out of the way. Sandra rubbed her head and Lemmy hopped back onto his ball.
Lemmy and Sandra then took out their crystals, one orange and the other black. Sandra used her Power Crystal to shoot more crystal balls at them. Sterling was almost hit by the last crystal ball, but he jumped in the air to dodge it. Lemmy used his Power Crystal to shoot crystal shards, making Sterling and Melody hide behind a tree for a moment. Cracks began to form in their crystals, but the cousins continued to use them.
Melody was the first to move from their hiding spot. She and Sterling did their best to avoid the crystal balls and shards that the Koopas shot at them. Then, much to their disappointment, Lemmy's and Sandra's Power Crystals shattered. Sandra gasped and pulled out her wand, Lemmy doing the same. They shot circus balls and energy blasts at the heroes, finally landing a hit on them and making them both lose their power-ups.
Melody and Sterling took out a Bubble Flower and Boomerang Flower respectively. As Lemmy shot more circus balls at them, Melody blew bubbles, trapping the circus balls and energy blasts inside and making them disappear. Sterling threw a boomerang at them, hitting the two Koopas and making them spin around in their shells again. Lemmy and Sandra soon came out of their shells and got ready to fight once more. Unfortunately for them, they were knocked down and eventually stopped when Sterling threw another boomerang at them.
"Yay! We did it!" Melody cheered, jumping up and down.
She smiled at Sterling as they made their way to the tree they had hidden behind minutes before.
"Let's rest for a few minutes." Sterling said.
Melody nodded and began making small snowmen as she and Sterling sat by the tree.
That's it for now! I'll post the next chapter one day next week!
Opal Beach and Crystal Cavern
Hi! So, I was originally going to work on the next chapter for "I Do Redux", but I'll work on it either later today or another day. But I hope you enjoy this chapter!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Iggy smiled as he and Tiana strolled hand in hand through the Koopa Kingdom. He finally got the courage to ask her out on a date and he suggested that they go to the botanical garden. Iggy and Tiana smiled broadly as they arrived. As they entered the greenhouse, they saw a wide variety of plants, like Cacti and Succulents.
"Wow! They're so pretty!" Tiana exclaimed.
Iggy chuckled. "I know you'd love it!"
Iggy and Tiana walked around, admiring the plants and learning different facts about them. Tiana giggled and pointed to a plant that reminded her of Iggy's hair, making him blush and laugh with her.
Later on they spotted a bench as they walked through the Herb garden. They decided to sit for a few minutes and admired the herbs and plants around them.
"I'm having a great time, Iggy!" said Tiana.
Iggy looked at her and replied, "So am I!"
The two stared at each other lovingly, blushing a little. Tiana and Iggy leaned in closer and closer until...
Iggy woke up to the sound of Sharon laughing. He looked at her in confusion.
"What's so funny?" He asked as he yawned.
Sharon laughed some more. "You were talking about Tiana in your sleep!"
Iggy blushed out of embarrassment and looked away. After calming down from laughing so much, Sharon sat closer to him.
"Iggy," Sharon looked at his Wish Crystal and back at Iggy, "Why not just wish for Tiana to love you?"
Iggy let out a sigh. "Sharon, I already told you. I'm not sure if I should wish for that or not."
Iggy picked up the Wish Crystal and looked at the different colors. Should he wish for Tiana to love him? Or should he wait and tell her how he feels?
"What should I do...?"
Melody and Sterling stood and stretched their arms. They were finished resting and were ready to stop more of the Koopa children. They approached a nearby pipe and leaped into it. When they made it out on the other side, they looked around. There was white sand, palm trees, a clear blue ocean, and many different kinds of seashells and crystals.
They've arrived at Opal Beach, a beautiful, serene, and fun location. Sterling smiled as he smelled the salty water.
"Ah! I love coming here!" He said.
Melody nodded. "Me too!" She looked down at the sand. "I love building sandcastles with my parents."
Sterling grinned as he gazed up at the sky. "Maybe Krystal and I can hang out here again once we save everyone."
They walked in silence until Melody spoke up. "Prince Sterling?"
Sterling looked at her. "Yeah?"
"When are you going to ask Princess Krystal to marry you?"
Sterling shrieked as he tripped, falling face first into the sand.
"Prince!" Melody knelt down next to him. "Are you alright?"
Sterling lifted his head and spat out some sand that entered his mouth.
"Melody," He slowly stood up. "W-Why is that on your mind?"
"Well, you both love each other and you've been dating for a long time now!" Melody explained. "Everyone from both of your kingdoms can tell how much you care about each other." Melody's face brightened as she thought of something. "Oh! When you get married, can I be the flower girl?"
Sterling's face was completely red now. "M-Melody! I... uh... M-Maybe we can discuss this after we save Krystal and the others?"
Melody laughed. "Alrig—Woah!"
Melody nearly got hit by a fireball, but she jumped out of the way. Looking ahead, she and Sterling spotted two Fire Bros. and two Koopa Paratroopas. Melody, pouting, blew two bubbles, trapping the fireballs and making them disappear. Sterling threw a boomerang at one of the Paratroopas that flew towards him, removing its wings. He jumped on the Koopa's head and kicked the shell, hitting one of the Fire Bros.
Melody jumped onto some nearby Crystal Blocks. Now at eye level with the second Paratroopa, she jumped on its head, making it a normal Koopa Troopa. Sterling threw another boomerang, hitting the Koopa and the Fire Bro.
"That was close..." Melody sighed.
Sterling and Melody walked through Opal Beach, fighting more Koopa Paratroopas and Fire Bros. that they came across. One of the Fire Bros. threw a fireball that nearly struck Sterling, but Melody trapped it in a bubble. As they walked by a palm tree, they heard voices up ahead. They ran closer to the source to find Wendy swimming in the ocean and Ken doodling in the sand. Ken gasped when he looked up and saw them.
"Wendy! They're here!" He called out.
They could hear Wendy grumbling as she got out of the water. After drying off and slipping her shoes back on, she pouted at the two.
"Ugh, let's get this over with! Ludwig and I are missing a new episode of our favorite soap opera. I forgot it was airing today..." Wendy and Ken prepared to fight, but Wendy stopped and pointed toward a cave. "By the way, Morton and Theodore are in the Crystal Cavern. So if you somehow beat us, you still have to deal with them."
Melody shuddered, but got into a fighting stance. Wendy pulled out her pink crystal, kissed it, and began shooting lasers at them. Melody dropped to the sand to dodge them, but Sterling was hit. Ken used his clear crystal to shoot beams of crystal energy at them. Sterling looked around until he spotted a Question Block. He dodged Wendy's and Ken's attacks and hit the block, finding a Frog Suit inside.
Using the Frog Suit, Sterling was able to jump higher and landed on Wendy's head. Wendy screamed and went inside of her shell, spinning around the beach. Once she was finished, Wendy realized that she had dropped her Power Crystal. Melody spotted it and before Wendy was able to react, Melody crushed it. Wendy screamed, took out her wand, and hurled gold rings at Melody. Melody lost her power-up after being hit by one.
Sterling jumped and landed on Wendy's head like before while she wasn't looking. Melody, avoiding Wendy's shell and Ken's attacks, looked around the area. She gasped and smiled when she spotted another Question Block. She hurried over to it and punched it, finding a Fire Flower inside. Melody smiled, grabbed the power-up, and began throwing fireballs at Ken. Ken went inside of his shell and spun around, trying to hit them.
Melody and Sterling dodged him, much to Ken's frustration. After spinning in their shells, Ken and Wendy popped out and they were furious. Melody threw more fireballs at them, finally stopping Wendy. Ken retreated into his shell and tried to hit them again. Unfortunately, Sterling and Melody got out of the way. When Ken popped out of his shell, Melody threw more fireballs at him.
Eventually, Ken fell to the sand next to Wendy, finally defeated.
"Good job, Melody!" Sterling smiled. "Now, let's go inside Crystal Cavern!"
Sterling walked towards the cavern, prepared to fight more of the Koopa children. He looked to his sides and realized that Melody wasn't next to him.
"Huh?" Sterling turned around and saw Melody standing in the same spot, trembling. Concerned, Sterling walked over to Melody and knelt down in front of her. "What's wrong, Melody?" He asked.
"I..." Despite her efforts to relax, Melody still trembled a little. "I've never been inside a cave before. I've always thought that they were creepy!"
Sterling smiled and stood up, holding out his hand. "You can hold my hand the whole time. That way, it won't be so scary."
Melody nodded and swiftly grabbed his hand, squeezing it. Sterling chuckled and they made their way over to Crystal Cavern. As they got closer, Sterling softly gasped.
"Wait a minute... Krystal and I were in here when we were kids. Is... is that—"
"Prince? Are you ok?" Melody asked as she looked up at him.
Sterling smiled and chuckled. "Y-Yeah. I was just thinking about something."
They saw stalagmites and stalactites around the cavern when they walked inside. In a few corners, they also saw selenite. While walking, Melody noticed something out of the corner of her eye.
"Huh?" Melody and Sterling walked closer to a wall and Sterling gasped. They saw "S+K" written on the wall with a heart around it.
Sterling blushed as Melody laughed loudly. "We were 13!"
They continued walking through the Crystal Cavern, stomping on a few Goombas that were inside. As they walked deeper inside, they finally spotted Morton and Theodore sitting near some stalagmites and selenite. The two Koopas gasped when they finally noticed that they weren't alone in the cavern.
"W-When did you guys get here!?" Theodore exclaimed.
Melody ignored his question and threw a fireball at Theodore, almost making him drop his green Power Crystal.
"H-Hey! We weren't even ready!" He held onto his crystal tightly, unaware that he was causing it to crack.
Using his crystal, he shot ice balls at Sterling and Melody. Sterling wasn't hit, but Melody was and lost her fire powers. After reaching into her pocket, she took out a Superball Flower. She threw a superball, making it bounce off of the cavern walls until it eventually hit Theodore. After spinning around the area in his shell, Theodore popped out and shot more ice balls. Sterling dodged them and jumped on Morton's head, making the Koopaling retreat into his shell also.
Theodore went into his shell after Melody stomped on his head. Morton popped out of his shell and took out his brown crystal. Using his crystal, Morton shot pink energy blasts at the two heroes. Unfortunately for him, Sterling and Melody jumped out of the way each time he would attack. Melody jumped and landed on Theodore's head again, finally stopping him. After evading another pink energy blast, Sterling jumped on Morton's head, causing him to spin around in his shell again.
When he was finished, he was going to attack again, but once again, Sterling landed on Morton's head, defeating him. Morton and Theodore both dropped their Power Crystals as they fell, Theodore's breaking as it hit the floor. Sterling stomped on Morton's, breaking his crystal before he could get a chance to pick it up. Morton grumbled as he heard Melody cheering.
"We did it!"
"Yep! Now let's get going." Sterling smiled at her.
Still a little creeped out by the cavern, Melody held Sterling's hand as they made their way out of it and back to Opal Beach.
If I got time tomorrow, I'll post the next chapter!
Amethyst Falls
Hello! I hope you all like this chapter :)
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Sharon sighed as she put her phone back inside of her shell. Wendy just called to let her know that the Toad and Prince had defeated her, Ken, Morton, and Theodore.
"Great. Well, I'm sure we can stop 'em! Right, Iggy?"
Sharon didn't get a response.
"...Iggy?" Still no response.
Sharon rose from her spot and approached her older cousin. When she sat next to him, she noticed that he was staring at the Wish Crystal. She tapped his arm, finally getting his attention.
"Huh? Sorry, did you say something, Sharon?"
"Iggy, you gotta focus on the fight right now. Those two will be here any minute." Sharon said.
"Sorry." Iggy put the Wish Crystal away and took out his green Power Crystal.
Sharon stood and walked away from Iggy, heading towards the desert area of Amethyst Falls. Before she left, she stopped in her tracks and turned to Iggy, a small smile on her face.
"Whatever decision you make with that Wish Crystal, I'll support you."
Iggy smiled back. "Thanks."
Iggy then watched as Sharon turned around and walked away.
Sterling and Melody walked inside a shop to buy more power-ups and items. After buying everything that they needed, they walked out of the shop eating 1-Up Mushrooms. Sterling looked around and thought for a moment.
"Since it's nearby, why don't we head to Amethyst Falls next? I'm sure there's some Koopas that are still there." He suggested.
Melody nodded. "That's a great idea! We can get them out of the way and then find the others!"
When they were finished eating their 1-Up Mushrooms, Sterling and Melody walked back through Opal Beach, making their way to Amethyst Falls.
Iggy leaned against a tree and sighed. He couldn't stop thinking about the Wish Crystal. Should he wish for Tiana to love him? If he did, what if she found out that he wished for it? What if she gets angry? Or, even worse, what if she hates him and doesn't want to speak to him again?
He let out another sigh and shook his head. Iggy decided to walk around the area to keep his mind off of the Wish Crystal. He smiled a little as he looked around at the trees and plants around him. He really liked it! At least this part of Amethyst Falls. He walked through the desert part of it before, but didn't really care for it as much.
While walking, Iggy hit his foot on something. He looked down and saw a pink crystal.
"Huh?" Iggy picked up the crystal to get a better look at it. He smiled, realizing what it was. "Hey! It's a Rose Quartz!"
Iggy gazed at the crystal for a few seconds. After that, he put it inside of his shell and walked back over to the tree, resting against it. Unfortunately, he didn't have time to relax. Melody and Sterling finally arrived, ready to fight. Iggy grumbled and pulled out his Power Crystal again. He instantly shot ice crystals at them, making Sterling and Melody lose their power-ups.
Sterling dodged more ice crystals and jumped on Iggy's head. As he spun around in his shell, Melody spotted two Question Blocks nearby. She ran towards them and hit both, finding a Fire Flower and Propeller Mushroom. Melody gave Sterling the Fire Flower while she took the Propeller Mushroom. Once Iggy popped out of his shell, Melody, now wearing a Propeller Suit, flew into the air and tried to land on his head. Sadly, Iggy shot vines out of the crystal above his head, wrapping Melody inside them tightly and making her lose her power-up.
The Koopaling retreating within his shell after being hit by Sterling's fireballs. Sterling ran over to Melody, burned the vines trapping her, and gave her a Super Leaf that he took out of his pocket. Iggy stopped spinning around and was ready to use his crystal again. Melody, now wearing a Tanooki Suit, glided into the air and landed on Iggy's head, finally defeating him. Iggy dropped his Power Crystal, making it break.
When Iggy hit the ground, Melody saw something slip out of his shell and she gasped.
"A Wish Crystal!" She rushed over to Iggy and picked it up. "I thought Bowser had his soldiers take them all! Now we can—"
Melody paused and frowned. She took a closer look and saw that a few cracks were on it. Whether it was from hitting the ground or from negative energy, Melody wasn't sure.
"Oh no... can we even still use it? I can't remember if anyone used it when it was cracked."
Sterling walked closer. "Let's give it a try."
Melody nodded and looked at the cracked Wish Crystal. She wished for the Koopas to return home, but nothing happened. She then decided to wish for something smaller like a candy bar.
Again, nothing happened.
Melody sighed. "I guess we can't wish for them to leave now..."
Melody knelt down and buried the Wish Crystal in the dirt. Then, she noticed a different crystal next to Iggy.
"Huh?" Melody picked up the crystal. "A Rose Quartz? Why do you have this?"
Iggy gasped and swiftly raised his head. "W-Wait! Give it back!"
"Why?" Melody asked.
"I... I just need it. Please, give it to me! I really need it!" Iggy pleaded.
Melody looked at Iggy for a moment. Just what was so important that he needed this crystal, anyways? Sighing, Melody handed him the Rose Quartz.
"You better not be planning anything with this..."
Melody and Sterling walked away from Iggy and through Amethyst Falls, now arriving in the desert part of the area. A Koopa Troopa tried to attack them, but Sterling stomped on its head and kicked the shell away. The shell hit a group of Goombas that were running towards them, knocking them down. After walking for a few minutes, they found Sharon sitting by a tree. When she noticed them, she jumped up and took out her purple Power Crystal, very eager to fight.
"I see you already beat my cousin! But I won't go down so easily!"
Sterling threw a fireball at her, but Sharon used her crystal to bring up a reflector. The fireball bounced off of it and back at Sterling, hitting him and making him lose his power-up. Melody glided into the air and stomped on Sharon's head. Sharon shrieked and hid inside of her shell. As Sharon spun around, Sterling reached into his pocket and took out an Elephant Fruit. Melody landed on Sharon's head again immediately after the Koopa girl popped out of her shell.
After spinning around for a second time, Sharon used her crystal to shoot fireballs out of it. Melody and Sterling avoided them all. Then Sterling bolted for the Koopa. Sharon's eyes widened as she saw Sterling jump into the air after eating the Elephant Fruit. Before she had a chance to run away, Sterling landed on Sharon's head, making her fall to the ground, dropping and breaking her Power Crystal.
Sharon groaned. "Man... i trained so much too. I can't believe I lost."
Sterling and Melody spotted a Warp Pipe and walked over to it. The two then crawled through the pipe, leaving Amethyst Falls.
Tomorrow if I'm not busy I'll post the next chapter!
Druse Square
Hi! I was supposed to go with my aunt to her appointment, but my grandmother went with her instead. So I got time to write! I hope you all like this chapter :D
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Sterling and Melody ran into more of the Koopa Troop as they made their way to Druse Square. A Boomerang Bro. threw a boomerang at Sterling, making him lose his elephant power-up. After fighting more Koopas, they got closer to Druse Square. Melody gasped as she looked around. A few crystals near the buildings and shops had cracks in them.
Melody turned to face Sterling. "All of the negative energy from the Koopas is causing the kingdom's crystals to break! Not just the ones they created!" Melody looked at another crystal, seeing a large crack on it. "We gotta hurry and stop them before all of the crystals break and the crystal buildings fall apart. Especially the castle!"
When they finally made it to Druse Square, they noticed a Fire Bro. and an Ice Bro. standing near the square's centerpiece. As Melody ran towards them, the two Koopas each took out Crystal Mushrooms. Melody gasped, watching as their helmets, shells, and shoes became crystal-like after they ate the mushrooms. One threw crystal balls at Melody, trapping her inside of a crystal. Once the crystal shattered, Melody lost her power-up. The Fire Bro. was knocked down and lost his power-up after Melody jumped on his head. She leaped into the air once more and landed on the Fire Bro's head again, knocking him down a second time before he could attack.
Sterling dodged the Ice Bro's crystal balls and jumped into the air. He landed on the Koopa's head, making him lose his crystal powers. As the Ice Bro. got up, Sterling stomped on his head, making the Ice Bro. faint.
Melody chuckled and said, "Wow! That was kinda easy!"
"Oh great! They're finally here." They heard someone groan.
Melody and Sterling looked up and saw Austin and Ludwig on the cloud platform above. Austin was looking down at them while Ludwig was looking at his sheet music. Melody reached into her pocket and took out another Super Leaf. When she got her Tanooki Suit back, she ran and glided into the air until she landed on the clouds. Sterling followed behind her, climbing a vine. Ludwig sighed as he put his sheet music away.
Austin and Ludwig took out their red and blue Power Crystals. Dark crystal shards were fired at the heroes by both Koopas. Melody dodged them and floated into the air, landing on both of their heads. Sterling dashed to a Question Block while Ludwig and Austin whirled around inside their shells. He hit the block and smiled, finding a Crystal Mushroom inside. When Austin and Ludwig popped out of their shells, they began to shoot red and blue fireballs from their crystals.
Their Power Crystals broke after shooting more fireballs, making Austin groan.
Ludwig frowned as he looked at the pieces of their crystals on the cloud. "What could Iggy and I have done differently to make these crystals not break?"
Not wanting to focus on that at the moment, Ludwig flutter jumped into the air. He attempted to land on Sterling's head, but the prince got out of the way in time. Ludwig and Austin then took out their wands. The two shot blue and red energy blasts at Sterling and Melody, but missed. Sterling and Melody jumped on their heads, making the cousins retreat inside of their shells again.
Once Ludwig and Austin stopped spinning in their shells, Sterling threw a crystal ball at them, trapping them each inside a crystal for a few seconds before the crystals broke. Melody finally stopped Ludwig and Austin by jumping on both of their heads once more. The kids groaned as they lay down on the clouds.
"This is unbelievable..." Austin looked over at Ludwig. "You and Iggy suck at making power-ups."
Ludwig gave his younger cousin a glare. "...Shut up."
Sterling chuckled. "Now we just have to go to Agate Field and then to the castle!"
"Yes! We can do this!" Melody grinned.
Sterling and Melody walked away from the two Koopas and over to the vine. They climbed down, making their way back to the ground.
That's it for now!
Gemstone Reading
Hi guys! I'm now halfway finished writing this fic! I hope you enjoy this chapter :D
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
"WHAT!? You two lost?!" Talisa and Junior exclaimed. Austin called the children to let them know that Melody and Sterling were on their way to Agate Field.
Austin sighed and rubbed his head. "Yeah, we did."
"You big dummies! How did you two lose?" Talisa rolled her eyes. "I can't believe it! Junior and I, two little kids, have to do what all of y'all couldn't! Beat up a prince and a Toad!"
Austin rolled his eyes at her. "Anyways, Ludwig and I are gonna rest here for a bit and explore Druse Square with the others."
Talisa gasped. "Can Junior and I come too?"
"What? No! We ain't babysitting you two! Plus, you guys have a fight to win. Why would you come with us?" Austin replied, making Talisa pout.
"You're a fat head, Austin!" She yelled.
"Yo Mama! ...Oh crap, wait. That's my Mama too." Austin said, making Ludwig shake his head and Bowser Jr. laugh.
Before hanging up, Talisa stuck her tongue out at Austin and Ludwig. Bowser Jr. looked around at Agate Field and smiled, seeing all of the dark crystals around them.
"Y'know, this place kinda reminds me of our homes." He said.
Talisa giggled. "Yeah! It really does!" She also looked around. "It even has lava and a volcano!"
She sat down next to her cousin and waited for Sterling and Melody to arrive.
Ludwig and Austin climbed down the vine and returned to the ground. When they got there, they saw their siblings arriving in Druse Square, some still in pain.
"So, what should we do first?" Ludwig asked as they got closer to their family.
Wendy grinned. "Oh! Let's check out the mall!"
"Of course you'd suggest that, Wendy." Alex shrugged her shoulders. "Eh. Ain't nothing else I wanna do."
The kids walked through Druse Square until they finally arrived at a large red building. Wendy squealed and ran inside, the others following behind her.
"Wow!" Wendy looked around the mall. "This is beautiful!"
The others looked around also, amazed by the interior. To their left was a mural depicting happy Crystal Toads with shopping bags. They also saw a food court close by, the scent of hotdogs and pizza made Morton's and Theodore's stomachs grumble. To their right was a jewelry store, which caught Wendy's eye. She grabbed Ken's hand and dragged him over to the store.
"Wendy! What are you doing?" Ken cried out.
"I need your help carrying a few bags!" Wendy replied.
"A few!?" The rest of their siblings laughed at Ken's reaction.
Morton and Theodore went to the food court to grab a bite to eat while Wendy and Ken entered the jewelry store. The others decided to head to the second floor to check out the other shops. When they got off the escalator, Austin looked to his right and spotted a toy store. Ludwig watched as his younger cousin walked towards it.
"Austin? What are you doing?" He asked.
Austin replied, "I think I'll buy Tali and Junior a toy. They were pretty upset that they couldn't come with us." He then walked inside the toy store.
Theodore and Morton joined them a few minutes later, eating a hotdog and burger respectively. Wendy and Ken arrived soon after, Ken holding a small bag for Wendy. When Wendy noticed a clothing store close by, her eyes brightened. She grabbed Ken's hand again and they made their way inside. Sandra walked over to a map on the wall, seeing the different shops on each floor. She looked at a store on the fourth floor, gasping and grinning broadly.
"Oh my gosh! There's a bookstore! I'm definitely checking that out!"
Sandra saw an elevator near a shoe store and the clothing store that Wendy and Ken entered. She excitedly rushed over to it and entered, Alex following behind her.
"You're going to the bookstore too, sis?" Sandra asked.
Alex scoffed. "No way! I just wanna see what other stores are in this place."
"Well, I think I saw an arcade on the third floor." Sandra replied.
"Really? Sweet! I'm heading there!"
The rest of the kids visited the other stores in the mall, having a great time shopping and looking at the many different items.
After making their purchases, the kids left the mall. John and Larry considered watching a movie at the theater in the mall, but there wasn't an interesting movie playing. So, the two decided to get some popcorn and soda. Ken groaned, carrying Wendy's many shopping bags.
"Y'know, you could carry something, Wendy!" Ken yelled.
"You're right. I'm sorry, Kenny."
Wendy smiled and grabbed a tiny bag that sat on top of a heavier one, much to Ken's anger and frustration.
"That's it!" Ken dropped all of the bags onto the ground. "I'm not carrying your shit!"
Ken pulled out his wand and waved it, making all of Wendy's bags, including the small one in her hand, disappear.
"Hey! Where did you send them?" Wendy whined.
"Your dad's airship!" Ken sighed, happy that he wasn't carrying the bags anymore.
Wendy raised an eyebrow. "Why not the castle?"
Ken stared at her for a second and face-palmed, making the others laugh. "Look, it was the first place I thought of, ok!?"
"Well, we went to the mall, so what else should we do?" Wendy asked.
Sharon replied, "I guess we could walk around Druse Square more. Maybe something will stick out."
Everyone agreed and walked around the area. They saw cafes, shops, and other stores. Theodore yawned, getting bored of walking around. Then, his eyes landed on a shop near them.
"Hey!" Theodore got the others' attention and pointed to a building. "Let's check that out!"
The kids looked to where Theodore was pointing. They saw an indigo building with a sign on the front that said "Psychic".
"You wanna go there? Why? We can just ask Kamek or Kammy to see the future." Sharon replied.
"Aw, c'mon!" Theodore grinned. "It could be interesting!"
Sharon sighed. "Alright. I guess we could look around."
The kids crossed the street and stood in front of the building. Theodore put his hand on the doorknob and opened the door. When they walked inside, they saw lots of crystals, potions, and Gem Elixirs. Across the room, a female Crystal Toad in pink attire was dusting off a table. She wiped her brow and put the rag away. When she looked up, the Crystal Toad shrieked as she saw the Koopas inside, but quickly cleared her throat.
"H-Hello! Welcome to my shop! Can I help you with something?" She smiled nervously at them.
Theodore walked closer, the others close behind him. "Hey there! Can we each get a reading done?"
The Crystal Toad stuttered. "Oh, um, h-how about this? I can give you all a general reading that'll cover different areas in your lives?" The Crystal Toad nervously played with her long blonde hair, hoping that she didn't upset them.
The kids agreed and gave her some coins. The Crystal Toad thanked them as she put the coins away. She then lit a candle and meditated for a moment before grabbing a small container. She opened it and dumped some gemstones out onto the table. Then, she began the reading.
Iggy heard her mention someone making a successful song soon, which was obviously Ludwig. Pretty soon, he started to zone out. He was lost in his thoughts for a few minutes before snapping out of it after hearing the word "love".
"W-Wait, I'm sorry. What did you say?" He asked.
"I said that I see love in your lives." The Crystal Toad adjusted her glasses and looked at the gemstones. "Some will take 1-2 years while others will get into a relationship very soon!"
Iggy smiled. "Wow! Maybe Tiana and I will be together soon!"
Alex chuckled and looked at Ludwig. "Yo! Ludwig will finally be in a relationship again!"
Ludwig rolled his eyes. "There's nothing wrong with being single." He then smiled softly. "But if I do meet a guy or girl, then I guess it would be nice."
"Oh! Oh! I have a question!" Lemmy jumped up and down on his ball. "Are we gonna stop Prince Sterling and Melody?"
The Crystal Toad looked down at the gemstones. "Um..."
Alex scoffed, cutting her off. "Of course we are!"
As she cleaned her glasses, the Crystal Toad watched as the kids left her shop, knowing the truth to Lemmy's question.
So, like I somewhat mentioned in chapters 2 and 3, Bowser's kids and Clawdeen's kids are close in age. The Koopalings are a year apart from each other in my AU, along with Clawdeen's 7 oldest kids. Bowser Jr. and Talisa are also a year apart from each other, but a few years younger than Larry and John. Also in my updated AU, Roy and Morton are twins, along with Alex and Theodore. Originally, I made Morton and Theodore the younger siblings, but I came across a tweet showing a page from an old book/magazine stating that Morton was one of the older siblings (can't find the post atm) and I thought it'd be interesting if he was Roy's younger twin :)
Anyways, I'll try to work on the next chapter tomorrow!
Agate Field
Here's chapter 16! I hope you like it!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Melody and Sterling reached Agate Field after leaping from another Warp Pipe. Melody glanced around at the dark crystals and saw that some of them were shattered or cracked. She frowned, but followed Sterling. Up ahead, two Fire Bros. were ready to battle, one on the ground and the other on floating blocks. Melody and Sterling dodged the fireballs that the Fire Bros. threw at them.
Melody, still having her Tanooki Suit, glided into the air and landed on the Fire Bro. that stood on the blocks. She floated to the ground as the Fire Bro. fainted. Sterling trapped the second Fire Bro. in a crystal. He picked the trapped enemy up and threw the crystal against a large, dark crystal, shattering the crystal the Fire Bro. was inside of and making him fall to the ground. A group of Goombas noticed them as Melody and Sterling walked away from the Fire Bros.
The Goombas tried to attack, but Sterling stomped on each one. While sitting on a Crystal Block, a Koopa Paratroopa looked down at the ground and noticed the two approaching him. He attempted to hit Sterling as he flew down, but the prince sprinted out of the way. The Paratroopa nearly sent Melody plummeting into the lava pit, but Sterling caught her before she could fall. Melody thanked him and after stomping on the Koopa Paratroopa's head twice, they continued on their way.
As they walked through Agate Field, the two spotted Bowser Jr. and Talisa playing Rock, Paper, Scissors while seated against a large, black crystal. Junior grinned and fist pumped.
"I win!" He cheered, making Talisa pout.
"That's not fair! I knew I should've gone with paper instead!"
Bowser Jr. stuck his tongue out at her and looked away. He gasped softly, then groaned, seeing the two heroes making their way towards them.
"Ugh, we're gonna have to have our rematch later."
Bowser Jr. and Talisa got to their feet as Melody and Sterling arrived. The two cousins took out their red Power Crystals, ready to use them. Sterling looked at the children and hesitated.
"W-Wait. Mario and Luigi actually fight you?" Sterling asked Bowser Jr.
"Duh! And Tali and I are gonna beat you two since the others couldn't!" Junior replied.
Melody was ready to fight. She looked up at Sterling and frowned, noticing the look on his face. "Prince? What's wrong?"
After hesitating, Sterling said, "It's just... the other kids were older, but these two are so young!"
Using their Power Crystals, Bowser Jr. and Talisa made crystal body armor appear around their bodies. They then started to shoot crystal shards from their crystals at Sterling and Melody. The two heroes luckily dodged their attacks. Melody looked over at Sterling, avoiding more crystal shards.
"Prince Sterling, I know these two are little, but we have to fight back!" Melody said, avoiding another shard.
Sterling took a deep breath. "You're right, Mel. I... I have to do this."
As much as he didn't want to hurt these two small children, Sterling did his best to push his feelings aside. He and Melody ran towards the kids, jumped in the air, and landed on their heads, slightly breaking their crystal armor. Melody flew into the air and landed on Talisa's head, breaking more of her armor.
"Hey! Cut it out!" Talisa yelled.
One of Bowser Jr's crystal shards hit Sterling, making the prince lose his power-up. Sterling stomped on Bowser Jr's head, breaking more of his crystal armor. He jumped on Junior's head again, breaking more crystals. After one more jump on their heads, Talisa's and Bowser Jr's crystal armor completely broke. The children pouted as their armor broke apart, but gasped as their Power Crystals also broke into pieces. Talisa threw her shattered Power Crystal at the prince and Toad and stomped her foot.
"No! No no no!" Talisa cried. "Iggy and Ludwig are so stupid! They made dumb crystals that break too easily!"
Melody and Sterling watched as Bowser Jr. took out his paintbrush. Talisa reached into her shell and pulled out a pink bubble wand around the same size as Junior's paintbrush. The wand had a dark pink heart on the top and a dark pink jewel on the bottom of the rod. Bowser Jr. slung paint at them, but Sterling and Melody got out of the way in time. Using her new bubble wand, Talisa created large bubbles and shot them at the heroes.
Sadly for Talisa, Melody and Sterling dodged each bubble. She growled, now having a pointed expression on her face. Talisa made more bubbles and grinned as she trapped Melody inside of one. After a few seconds, the bubble popped and Melody fell to the ground, losing her Tanooki Suit. Junior, after slinging his paintbrush again, created a Proto Piranha to attack them.
Melody reached into her pocket and smiled, seeing that she grabbed an Ice Flower. Using the power-up, Melody threw ice balls at the Proto Piranha, slowly defeating it. After a few more hits, the Proto Piranha disappeared, making Bowser Jr. grumble.
Talisa giggled and looked at her older cousin. "Don't worry, Junior. I'll stop 'em!"
Sterling gasped as he saw Talisa wave her bubble wand again. This time, she created large lava bubbles.
"Melody, look out!" He called out.
Unfortunately, Melody wasn't quick enough. Melody was hit by a lava bubble and lost her ice powers. Another one was coming at Sterling, but the prince got out of the way. Sterling jumped on Junior's head, making the Koopa scream in pain (Sterling cringed at the sound). As she avoided more lava bubbles, Melody saw a Question Block. She smiled and ran towards it.
Melody jumped and hit the block, finding a Fire Flower inside. After grabbing the flower, Melody started throwing fireballs at the two kids. As the children rubbed their arms from the pain, Melody jumped on Talisa's head, then Junior's. They hid in their shells, avoiding more stomps on their heads. After a few seconds, they jumped up, ready to fight some more.
Before Junior or Talisa could attack, Sterling ran towards the two kids, jumped into the air, and landed on both of their heads. They fell to the ground, finally defeated. Sterling and Melody looked at each other as they caught their breaths.
"We did it! We beat them!" Melody said, taking another deep breath.
Sterling smiled. "Yeah, we did! Now, we can make our way to the castle."
As Sterling and Melody turned around and started walking away, Bowser Jr. and Talisa slowly rose. Sterling and Melody turned back around as they heard the children stomping their feet.
"That's not fair!" Junior shouted.
Talisa pouted. "We're gonna tell Uncle Bowser!"
Bowser Jr. and Talisa ran past them, leaving Agate Field.
I'll work on the next chapter hopefully soon!
Returning to the Castle
Hi! Like I said before, I don't usually post on Sunday's or Monday's, but I'm able to right now! I hope you all like this one :)
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
The Koopalings and their cousins wandered around the area near the psychic shop before heading to the center of Druse Square.
Alex stretched and put her hands behind her head, smirking slightly. "That psychic chick was kinda cool." Alex looked at the others. "I should get a reading done again."
"Yeah!" Sandra beamed. "I should've asked her if I'll publish my own book someday."
Ludwig smiled at her. "I'm sure you will."
"Yeah, yeah, that'd be cool, I guess." Alex looked at her family again. "Who do you think will get in a relationship first?"
Sandra's eyebrow went up. "Why do you wanna know about that?"
Alex shrugged her shoulders. "Just curious."
"Well," Roy spoke up. "I ain't looking right now, but hey. If a hot chick catches my eye, then I'll give her a chance."
"Roy... her personality should be important. Not her looks." Sandra frowned at him.
Lemmy giggled. "You know who I think will be first?"
"Who?" The others wondered.
Lemmy's eyes landed on his younger, but taller, brother. The others also turned to Iggy, making the Koopaling raise an eyebrow.
"...What?" Iggy said, looking at everyone.
"Oh come on, Iggy. One of these days, you're gonna ask that nerd out." Alex said.
Iggy's cheeks grew warm. "Don't call Tia a nerd!" He cleared his throat and ignored a few of his cousins who laughed at his outburst. "Anyways, I don't know what you're talking about."
"Seriously? Don't play dumb, Iggy! You got it bad for Tiana." Theodore replied.
"I'm not—" Iggy stopped his sentence when he saw Bowser Jr. and Talisa running up ahead. He pointed to them, happy to change the subject. "Hey! What are Junior and Tali doing here?"
Iggy and the others ran to catch up with the two children. When they made it, they looked down at them and noticed tears in Talisa's eyes.
"Hey, what's the matter? What are you guys doing here?" Austin asked.
"That Prince and Toad beat us!" Bowser Jr. pouted. "And our stupid crystals broke apart!"
Austin chuckled. "Ah. So I see you were wrong after all, Tali."
Talisa burst into tears and screamed at him. "Shut up, Austin! It's not funny!"
Austin's smile softened as he picked up his baby sister. He tried his best to soothe her as she wailed.
"It's alright, Tali. Please don't cry." Austin rubbed her back. Then, he remembered something. "Hey! Guess what? I got you guys something while we were at the mall!"
Austin reached into his shell and pulled out a blue and white toy robot, handing it to Junior. Then, he pulled out another toy, and Talisa gasped. In his hand was a brand new doll. The doll was a human woman with chestnut skin, long, coily black hair, and wore a pink tiara, silver earrings and bracelets, and a beautiful pink gown along with pink heels. Talisa squealed and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, Austin! She's so pretty!" Talisa kissed his cheek, making him cringe.
"Eww, Tali! I don't want your cooties!" Austin tried to push her face away from him as he spoke.
As Talisa and Junior admired their gifts, Ludwig's phone started to ring.
"Huh?" Ludwig pulled out his phone and saw that he was getting a video call from Bowser. He pressed the accept call button and looked at the screen. "Dad? Is everything alright?"
"I need you kids to come to the castle. Those two are on their way, so I want you all to slow them down." Bowser explained.
Some of the kids groaned, but they all agreed. After hanging up and putting his phone away, Ludwig looked at the others and said, "Well, let's get this over with."
After leaving Druse Square, the kids got closer to the castle. While making their way to the castle, they noticed a few crystals nearby that were breaking.
"Was Melody right about the negative energy...?" John wondered.
Sandra sighed. "If it's true, then it's not just affecting the crystals Iggy and Ludwig created."
Iggy took out the Rose Quartz that he found while wearing a worried expression. As soon as he realized the crystal was ok, he relaxed.
"Iggy? Why do you have that crystal?" He heard Sharon ask.
Iggy blushed and put the crystal away. "I uh, just found it interesting."
They finally arrived at the castle and walked inside. They found Bowser and Clawdia waiting for them in the hallway. Clawdia smiled at them and said, "You kids stay in the halls and do your best to stop them."
"Where are our parents?" Talisa asked.
Bowser looked around. "Huh. Good question. Where are they?"
"I believe they were reading in the castle library." Clawdia replied.
Bowser nodded. "I'll get them."
The others watched as Bowser turned around and walked away from them. He walked down another hallway and stood in front of a large green door. When he opened it and walked inside, he found his sister and brother-in-law sitting on the couch in the library, kissing. Shaking his head, Bowser quietly walked over to them and saw a magazine sitting on a nearby table. Bowser grabbed the magazine, rolled it up, and gently smacked Clawdeen in the head. The couple pulled away from each other and looked up at Bowser.
"So, is this considered reading, sis?" Bowser asked.
Clawdeen replied sarcastically. "Yes. Do you mind?"
She turned back to her husband and kissed him again. Bowser grabbed them both, yanking them apart.
"You can make out later! Right now we have things to do!"
Bowser grabbed Langston's and Clawdeen's arms and the three of them left the library. He took them to the throne room, where they saw Clawdia waiting for them.
"I found the lovebirds." Bowser said, letting go of them.
Still imprisoned within the crystal wall, Princess Krystal yelled at Bowser. "You won't get away with this! Sterling and Melody will stop all of you!"
Bowser laughed and cleaned off the Crystal Wand. "No they won't! Our children will work together to stop them. And if those two somehow make it to us, we'll stop them ourselves!"
Krystal glared at Bowser and looked over at the Bros. and Princesses, still trapped inside of the large crystals. Then, Krystal let out a soft gasp. She noticed a crack starting to form not only on Mario's crystal, but also the wall behind him.
The next chapter will hopefully be up tomorrow!
Bowser's Koopalings
Hi! Here's the next chapter :D Btw, as I thought about the title for this chapter, it just sank in that it's the exact same name as FreezeFlame22's Youtube series lol
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
After leaving Agate Field, Sterling and Melody went to a shop in Druse Square. They noticed that they were getting low on power-ups, so they decided to buy more before heading to the castle. Sterling went to the Crystal Toad at the counter to purchase the power-ups while Melody rested near the shop's door. She let out a sigh as she stared at the floor, getting lost in her thoughts.
"We can do this! We just have to deal with Bowser and those other Koopas, and we'll be able to save Princess Krystal and the others." Melody squirmed a little. "Those other Koopas look so huge, though! Especially Bowser! Oh, I hope they're not too tough..."
"Melody?" Melody looked up and saw Sterling standing in front of her. Seeing the look on her face, he crouched down and looked at her, frowning. "What's wrong, Mel?"
Melody sighed. "I... I guess I'm just a little scared. I mean, Bowser's big! Like, really big! W-What if he crushes us or something!?"
Sterling smiled reassuringly at her. "Don't worry, Melody. Bowser and the others may be bigger than the other Koopas we fought, but we'll be able to stop them!"
"Are you sure?" She asked, her arms trembling slightly.
"Of course!" Sterling gave her another smile. "Mario and Luigi have fought Bowser many times. If they can do it, so can we!"
Melody returned the prince's smile and began to relax. "You're right."
Sterling stood up and asked, "Are you ready?"
Melody grinned. "Yeah!"
After handing Melody some power-ups, Sterling and Melody left the shop and made their way to the castle.
Melody and Sterling were drawing nearer to the castle. Melody frowned, seeing the cracked crystals around them, but tried to stay focused on their mission. Upon reaching the castle, they noticed that the front doors were guarded by two Sledge Bros. Pulling out a Bubble Flower, Sterling blew two bubbles. The Sledge Bros. didn't have time to react and were trapped inside of the bubbles. Melody opened the doors and as soon as they walked inside, the two were met by Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings.
Before Sterling and Melody could attack, Ludwig and Larry shot blue energy blasts from their wands. Sterling immediately lost his power-up, but Melody escaped Larry's attack. She took out a Double Cherry and now had a clone of herself. Melody and her clone jumped on Ludwig's and Larry's heads, making the two blue-haired Koopalings retreat inside of their shells. They then jumped on Roy's and Morton's while Sterling jumped on Junior's. As the others spun around the hallway in their shells, Wendy took out her wand and shot a gold ring at Melody's clone, making the clone disappear.
Melody reached into her pocket and pulled out another power-up. She smiled, seeing that she grabbed a Drill Mushroom. Now in drill form, Melody burrowed under the floor and popped out, hitting Wendy and Lemmy. Lemmy fell off of his ball and was hit again before he had a chance to hop back on. Wendy almost hit Sterling with her shell, but the prince got out of the way just in time.
As Sterling avoided more energy blasts from the Koopalings, he pulled a hammer suit from his pocket. He started throwing hammers at Iggy, Morton, and Junior. Melody shrieked as one of Wendy's rings bounced off of the walls. She dropped to the floor and covered her head, hoping the ring wouldn't hit her. Once the ring disappeared, Melody stood up. While she wasn't paying attention, Bowser Jr. spat out a fireball and hit her, making Melody lose her drill form.
Bowser Jr. laughed as he watched Melody pout. He held his paintbrush tighter and was prepared to sling paint on the Toad girl. Before he had a chance to do it though, Sterling jumped on his head. While Junior hid in his shell, Sterling rushed over to Melody.
"Melody, are you ok?" Sterling asked her.
Melody smiled. "Yeah, I am."
Sterling gave her a smile in return and resumed the battle. He noticed the exasperated expressions on Wendy's and Junior's faces and chuckled softly.
Wendy put her hands on her hips. "What's so funny?"
Sterling looked at her and said, "Why don't you kids just give up already? Melody and I have already beaten you all earlier, and yet you still wanna fight."
"No way!" Bowser Jr. shouted. "You idiots got lucky last time! We'll stop you both right now!"
Sterling leaped out of the way as Junior slung paint at the prince. Sterling threw more hammers at Junior, Wendy, and Roy, making the kids cry out in pain. Junior tried to throw paint on Sterling again, but Sterling moved to the left, making the paint fall on the floor.
Bowser Jr. growled. "Stay still already!"
Iggy, using his wand again, shot green and red fireballs at the prince. Sterling was almost hit by one of Iggy's fireballs, but ducked down before the red fireball could hit his face. He threw a hammer at the tall Koopaling, making him scream. Morton and Roy jumped into the air and did a ground pound, stunning not only Melody and Sterling, but also their siblings. Morton shot magenta energy blasts at Sterling and Melody, hitting them both. Once everyone was able to move again, Ludwig turned to his twin brothers and gave them an annoyed look.
"Did you two forget that you could stun anyone on the ground when you do that move!?" He asked.
Morton smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. "Hehe, sorry..."
Roy rolled his eyes. "Look, we hit them, didn't we? Let's just hurry up already!"
Melody watched as Junior, Ludwig, and Lemmy started attacking Sterling. After dodging another one of Wendy's gold rings, Melody put her hand inside of her pocket.
"Come on! I gotta find something good!"
Melody's hand touched a flower stem, making her wonder which power-up it was. When she pulled it out of her pocket, Melody grinned. It was a Fire Flower! This was perfect! Melody, now able to use fire, threw fireballs at the kids.
"Ow! Quit it!" Bowser Jr. yelled at her.
Melody ignored his cries and threw more fireballs while Sterling took out another Hammer Suit. As the two threw more hammers and fireballs at them, the children eventually fell to the ground.
Melody jumped up and down, giggling. "We did it! We did it!"
Sterling gave her a high five. "Yeah! Now, let's go find Bowser and the others."
Melody hopped over Roy and Morton as she followed the prince through the hallway.
That's it for now :)

As they walked out of the corridor, Sterling and Melody each ate a 1-Up Mushroom. Melody smiled to herself as the 1-Up Mushroom began to heal her. Sterling and Melody froze as they stepped into another hallway. All of Clawdeen's and Langston's children were there, waiting for them. Melody groaned and pouted as she stared at the other Koopa children.
"Aw, man! I nearly forgot about all of you!" Melody sighed.
Alex smirked. "I guess the others lost, huh?" She chuckled as she cracked her knuckles. "Well, that's fine. We'll stop ya!"
Melody rolled her eyes at Alex. "No, you want! We beat the others already, so we'll do the same to you guys."
Talisa stuck her tongue out at Melody. As John began spitting fireballs at Melody and Sterling, Talisa pulled out her bubble wand and swung it in the air, creating large bubbles. Sterling and Melody avoided their attacks, making Talisa grumble. John, Sandra, and Alex screamed in pain after Sterling jumped on their heads. The trio retreated into their shells and started to spin around the corridor. After dodging another bubble, Melody jumped on Talisa's and Theodore's heads.
Sharon pulled out her wand and shot fireballs from it. She smirked as one of her fireballs hit Sterling in the chest, making him lose his power-up. Sterling retrieved a Super Acorn from his pocket. Now in his Flying Squirrel form, Sterling glided into the air and landed on Alex's head again. Alex let out a cry and went into her shell. She attempted to hit Sterling with her shell, but Sterling hopped over her each time she got near him.
Alex was able to hit Melody, making her lose her fire powers. Once she was finished spinning, Alex came out of her shell and rubbed her head. She noticed Melody chuckling and spat a fireball at her. Melody screamed as she jumped over the fireball.
"Why are you laughing!?" Alex yelled.
Melody smirked at her. "You guys seem to be in a lot of pain. Ready to give up?"
Alex sneered at her. "Never!"
Talisa waved her wand again and shot lava bubbles at them. Sterling was hit by a lava bubble and lost his power-up. After avoiding another lava bubble, Sterling took out a Crystal Mushroom. Using the power-up, he threw crystal balls at the Koopa children. They were only trapped for a few seconds, but Sterling was able to jump on Ken's and Sharon's heads before they could attack. Austin and Alex began spitting fireballs at them, but Melody and Sterling dodged them all.
Melody smirked as she heard a few of the kids groan in frustration. Just a few more hits, and the fight will be over! Then, Melody squirmed. After they fight the kids, they'll have to fight Bowser and the rest of his family. Was Sterling right? Are they able to defeat those big Koopas?
"Melody! Look out!" She snapped out of it when she heard Sterling calling out to her.
Before she could react, Melody was hit by a lava bubble. Talisa giggled as she hugged her bubble wand and jumped.
"Yay! I got you! Uncle Bowser's gonna be so prou—"
Talisa didn't get to finish her sentence as Sterling trapped her in a crystal. After a few seconds, the crystal broke and Talisa stomped her foot, glaring at the prince.
"Hey! That's not fair! I wasn't paying attention!" Talisa whined.
Melody replied, "So, when I'm not paying attention, it's ok for you to attack?"
Talisa pouted. "Yeah, stupid!"
Sterling threw more crystal balls at Talisa and a few of her older siblings, trapping them. As the crystals broke apart, Sterling and Melody ran over to them and jumped on their heads. Talisa and John hid inside of their shells while Ken and Sandra spun around the hallway. They attempted to hit Sterling and Melody, but the two dodged them. Melody continued avoiding their shells and fireballs from the others. As the kids popped out of their shells, Melody reached into her pocket again, trying to grab a good power-up.
"What can I use...?" Melody thought to herself.
Then, her hand felt something rough and bumpy. Curious, Melody took it out of her pocket and gasped.
"A Rock Mushroom!"
Melody used the mushroom and encased herself in a boulder. She smirked as she saw the anxious looks on the kids' faces.
"Run!" Austin and his siblings tried to run away, but Melody rolled over them and jumped on them while in the boulder.
One by one, the children were knocked down to the floor, finally defeated. After rolling over John, Melody bumped into a wall, losing her power-up.
Melody cheered. "Woohoo! We did it!"
Sterling chuckled. "Yeah!" He walked over to her and gave her another high five. "So, are you ready to face Bowser?"
Melody's smile faltered a little. "I... I'm still kinda nervous. But, I'll do my best!"
"Great! Then let's go!"
Melody nodded and followed Sterling out of the hallway.
If I have time tomorrow, I'll post the next chapter :D
Freedom
We're finally at chapter 20 of this fic! I hope you like it :)
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Sterling and Melody left the hall and searched for the last four Koopas. Melody took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves.
"They might be in the throne room." She said,
Sterling nodded. "Then let's head there."
The two eventually reached the throne room after walking down the hall. They noticed all four Koopas as they entered. Still confined, Krystal grinned when she peeked through the crystal wall and saw her boyfriend and friend.
"Sterling! Melody! You've made it!" She called out to them.
Sterling sighed in relief, seeing that Krystal was unharmed. He started to run to the princess, but Bowser shot a crystal ball toward Sterling with Krystal's wand. Sterling dodged the attack before he could get trapped inside of a crystal like Mario and his friends. After that, Bowser and the others took out their Power Crystals. Before they even had a chance to use them, their crystals began to crack. Bowser groaned, but he and Clawdia used their Power Crystals to shoot large energy blasts at the heroes.
Bowser's crystal immediately broke, but he was able to hit Sterling and made him lose his power-up. Melody reached into her pocket and took out two Fire Flowers.
"Take this!" Melody tossed one of the Fire Flowers to Sterling.
Langston and Clawdeen used their crystals to shoot Diamonds and Pearls at them. Melody and Sterling avoided every jewel that came to them. Their Power Crystals quickly broke apart, but they continued to fight. As Sterling and Melody fought the Koopas, none of them noticed the crystals trapping Mario and the others cracking more. No one, except for Krystal. Krystal heard the sound of crystals cracking and looked over at them.
The princess also saw that the crystal wall trapping her was also beginning to crack. She looked back at her friends as they continued to fight Bowser and his family. Melody leaped and landed on Langston's head, making him fall to the ground. Clawdia took out her wand and shot large gold rings at them. Melody nearly got hit by the rings as they bounced off of the walls, but she sprinted away. The crystals that held the plumbers and princesses in place started to break even more.
Eventually, all four crystals broke completely, freeing Mario and the others. The four looked around, confused by what they saw. As Sterling and Melody continued to fight, Krystal called out to the others. "Guys! Are you alright?"
Mario hurried to her along with the others. Another crack, this one larger, formed on the crystal wall. Krystal hit a part of the wall and smiled, seeing another crack.
"Can you help me please?" She asked.
Daisy smiled. "Of course!"
The five of them began punching and kicking the crystals, creating more cracks and breaking off small chunks. The others were still a little confused about what was going on, but they wanted to help free the princess. Luigi kicked the wall, breaking off a larger piece. Daisy and Mario punched a crystal, creating a hole. Peach and Krystal kicked the crystal wall, breaking more of it off. Krystal was eventually set free when the crystal wall collapsed.
Krystal gave them a smile. "Thank you so much!"
"Hehe, no problem!" Mario looked over at the others who were still fighting. "Uh, what happened exactly? All I remember is Bowser creating that crystal wall that we just broke."
"I'll explain later. Right now, we need to help Sterling and Melody!"
Bowser, dodging another fireball from Melody, noticed that Krystal and the others were now free. He snarled and used Krystal's wand to shoot energy blasts at Melody and Sterling, making them lose their power-ups. Bowser's irritated expression caught Clawdia's and the others' attention, and the three of them gasped when they saw that the princess and the others were free. Clawdia's face flushed as she became enraged.
"Are you serious!? I can't believe all of them are free! Especially her!" Clawdia gestured toward Peach. "Ugh! Everything was fine when that stupid princess was trapped! Now that she's free, she's going to try to marry my husband!"
"W-What?!" Peach gave Clawdia a perplexed look. "Clawdia, I don't want to marry Bowser!"
Clawdia put her hands on her hips. "Oh please! Of course you do! Everyone knows that!"
"No! I really don't!" Peach replied.
Still a little sore from battling, Clawdia rubbed her head and horns as she scoffed. Before she could respond to Peach, Daisy hurried over and got in the Koopa Queen's face.
"What's your problem, lady?! Peach would never steal someone's boyfriend or husband!"
Peach quickly nodded. "Exactly!"
"I mean, it's not her fault that she's attractive and lots of men want to marry her!" Daisy replied.
Peach face palmed and shook her head. She then grumbled, "Not helping, Daisy..."
While everyone else was distracted by the argument, Bowser walked over to Langston and whispered to him. When he was finished, Langston looked at him.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yeah." Bowser responded.
Langston nodded and walked away. He snuck up behind Krystal and gently picked her up. Krystal screamed, getting everyone else's attention.
Melody gasped. "Princess!"
The others tried to stop Langston, but Bowser shot fireballs at them from the crystal wand. Krystal made an unsuccessful attempt to escape Langston's hold. Bowser said, "Follow me," after glancing at his family.
The others trailed behind Bowser as he ran out of the throne room.
"Where are we going, Bowsie?" Clawdeen wondered.
"To the Crystal Tower!" Bowser replied.
Krystal whimpered as they ran farther away from the throne room.
This would've been up earlier, but I stopped to watch the final Nintendo Switch direct. I liked it! Anyways, I'll try to post the next chapter tomorrow. I hope you all have a great day today!
Fallen
Hi! I got some time to write, so here's chapter 21!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Alex groaned as she rubbed her head. "Man... I dunno how the others go through this all the time with those plumbers."
Sandra slowly sat up, also rubbing her head. "Me neither." She sighed and looked at her siblings. "Do you think Uncle Bowser beat the—"
Sandra stopped her sentence as she saw her aunt, uncle, and parents rushing by, with Princess Krystal in Langston's arms. The kids sat there, a little confused.
"What are they up to?" Sharon wondered.
Austin lied down on his side. "Well, I ain't being nosey and checking. I'm still in a lot of pain."
As the kids sat there and rested, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings entered the hallway where their cousins were.
"Do you guys know what our parents are doing? We saw them heading to where the tower is." Larry asked.
John shook his head. "Nope. Not a clue."
Then, the kids heard footsteps getting closer. They turned to see the Mario Bros., the princesses, Sterling, and Melody running past them.
"Huh. I guess they're not finished." Ken said.
The kids then gasped when they saw a large crack appear on the wall next to them. Ludwig became nervous as he gazed at the crack.
"This isn't good..."
Melody handed Mario and Luigi Fire Flowers while Sterling gave Peach and Daisy Propeller Mushrooms. The four used their power-ups as they ran up the staircase. Eventually, they made it to the Crystal Tower. When they opened the door and went inside, they saw all four Koopas waiting for them. Now imprisoned in a dark pink crystal cage, Krystal struggled to break free.
Sterling took out a Crystal Mushroom and a Drill Mushroom from his pocket. He gave Melody the Crystal Mushroom while he took the Drill Mushroom. Krystal looked down at everyone and watched them fight. When she saw Bowser shoot a fireball from the crystal wand, she gasped. A tiny fragment of the crystal broke off.
"Bowser!" Krystal called out to him, pleading. "Please stop using the crystal wand!"
Bowser kept using her wand, ignoring the crystal princess. The Koopas were pelted with fireballs from Mario and Luigi. After that, Peach and Daisy, now wearing Propeller Suits, flew into the air and landed on Clawdia's and Clawdeen's heads. Clawdeen groaned as she rubbed her head. Clawdia, glaring at Peach, used her wand to shoot rings at her. The last ring finally hit Peach, making her stumble and lose her Propeller Suit.
Clawdia laughed at her, but cried out in pain after Daisy landed on her head. Mario and Luigi threw more fireballs at Bowser, Clawdeen, and Langston. After a few more blows, Langston collapsed to the floor, finally defeated.
"Langston!" Clawdeen rushed over to her husband, but was stopped by Melody, who stomped on her head.
Bowser used the crystal wand again and fired crystal shards at Luigi. After being struck by the shards, Luigi lost his fire powers. Then, the rainbow crystal on the wand shattered, leaving just the rod.
Krystal gasped and looked horrified at the fragments on the floor. "NO!"
Bowser grunted. "Oh, come on! First the crystals Ludwig and Iggy made! Now this stupid wand!"
"I told you to stop using it!" Krystal shouted. "Your negative energy is causing the crystals to break apart!"
Krystal frowned as she glanced down at the broken pieces of her wand. The wand has been passed down in her family through generations. She's done her best to take care of it ever since her father let her use it as a little girl. When she first saw it, Krystal loved the wand. She found it beautiful and loved watching her parents use its magic to grow and cleanse the crystals in their land.
Krystal whimpered, looking at the broken crystal again. She thought back to when she was around 12 years old. She was in the castle library, reading about the various facts about each kind of crystal. As she read, Krystal learned more on how crystals can heal people and manifest their wishes. That's when she got the idea to create the Wish Crystals. She wanted to make a crystal that would grant your wish, as long as it was positive and wouldn't harm anyone.
Then, Krystal snapped out of her thoughts. She and everyone else froze as they heard the sound of a building breaking.
"W-What was that...?" She asked.
Sterling walked over to the window and peered out. He gasped and his eyes grew wide.
"Sterling? What's the matter?" Krystal asked him.
"Krystal," Sterling continued to stare out of the window. "The Crystal Kingdom Library is gone."
Before Krystal could respond, Sterling saw another crystal building falling apart in the distance. Krystal fell to the floor as the crystal cage that held her broke apart also.
"Whatever!" Bowser threw the rod on the floor. "We can still lock you guys up and I can keep this kingdom for myself!"
Bowser growled and got into a fighting position. But, before anyone could attack, the floor began to shake.
"Wh-What's going on!?" Clawdeen asked, clinging onto Langston.
Everyone then heard Larry's and Alex's voices from downstairs.
"Guys! The castle is falling apart!" Larry yelled.
Alex added, "We all need to leave! Quickly!"
Bowser, Langston, Clawdia, and Clawdeen immediately ran down the staircase. When they made it to the hallway, they saw their children running to the front doors of the castle. Ludwig and Austin carried Bowser Jr. and Talisa respectively as they followed their siblings.
"Head to the airships!" Bowser called out to them. "There's no point in staying here anymore!"
After stepping outside, the Koopa family boarded the airships. After everyone was inside, the airships lifted off and flew away from the Crystal Kingdom.
Back inside, Sterling carried Melody and Krystal as he followed the others out of the crumbling castle. They all lost their power-ups from getting hit by the falling pieces of crystals. They rushed down the stairs, trying to make it to the entrance. Luigi almost tripped down the stairs, but Mario caught him in time. Everyone finally made it to the front doors and ran outside. Mario and Luigi were the last ones to make it out. Then, everyone watched as the crystal castle collapsed.
I hope you all liked this chapter :)
The Love Stone
Hi! Here's the next chapter!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Bowser gazed out the window with a sigh. They were flying farther away from the Crystal Kingdom, but he could still see pieces of the castle crumbling. He turned to Bowser Jr. when he heard the youngest child let out a "hmph".
"Junior? What's the matter, buddy?" Bowser asked him.
Bowser Jr. pouted. "I can't believe we lost again!"
Bowser chuckled. "I know, kiddo. But I'm just glad that you guys are alright."
Everyone in the airship tensed up as they heard Princess Krystal's castle finally collapsing in the distance.
Clawdia finally spoke up after a few seconds. "A-At least we all made it out in time."
Bowser nodded and everyone sat in silence after that. After a few minutes went by, Bowser's phone began to ring. He took it out and saw that Clawdeen was calling. After answering her call and pressing the speaker button, Bowser cringed when his sister spoke, hearing that stupid nickname again.
"Bowsie!" Clawdeen said, "I just wanted to let you guys know that you all can stay at our castle for a few days to rest and recover."
"Really? Thanks, sis!" Bowser grinned.
"Thank you, Clawdeen! We'll be right behind you guys!" Clawdia added.
Bowser and Clawdia said goodbye and hung up. As Bowser put his phone back in his shell, Iggy spoke up.
"Um, guys? Can you drop me off in the Koopa Kingdom first?" Iggy asked.
"Really?" Clawdia looked at him. "What for, honey?"
Iggy rubbed his arm. "There's something that I need to do there really quick. I can catch up with you guys as soon as I'm finished."
Bowser and Clawdia pondered for a while. Then Bowser spoke.
"I guess that's alright."
Bowser took out his phone again and called his sister to let her know what they were doing. After calling out to the pilot, their airship flew in the direction of Darkland.
The airship arrived in front of Bowser's castle. Iggy hopped off and looked back at his parents.
"Are you sure this can't wait, Iggy?" Clawdia asked.
Iggy shook his head. "No. I really need to do this now. I promise I'll be in the Magma Kingdom fast."
Bowser Jr. poked his head out of the window. "What are you even doing, Iggy?"
"Something important." Iggy stuck his tongue out at Junior who pouted, not satisfied with Iggy's response.
Clawdia smiled at him. "Well, alright sweetie. Whatever you're doing, I hope you'll be safe."
Iggy laughed. "Mom, don't worry! It's completely safe!"
After his family sat back down, Iggy waved as the airship began to fly away. Once the airship was out of sight, Iggy stood there for a moment before face-palming.
"Ugh... I should've had them drop me off closer."
Taking a deep breath, Iggy walked away from the castle and made his way to the town.
Iggy looked around as he walked through the town. He smiled, seeing many Koopas and Goombas out today. Everyone was in a great mood, and seeing the citizens smiling made Iggy's smile grow. Eventually, Iggy walked past a few buildings and shops until he arrived at the front doors of a larger building.
"I wonder..." Iggy opened the doors and walked inside.
The bespectacled Koopaling looked around when he entered. He saw a few children and their parents looking through the smaller bookshelves while other Koopas were sitting down at the tables reading or doing homework. Upon noticing him, the Koopa Troopas at the front desks greeted their prince. Iggy waved to them and began heading to the larger bookshelves. He passed by the history section, next the non fiction, then the sci-fi.
"Maybe—"
"Come on!"
Iggy stopped his statement when he heard a familiar voice. It sounded like the voice was coming from the young adult section. He walked past the romance section and chuckled to himself. He saw his friend, struggling to reach a book on the top shelf. Iggy quietly snuck up behind her and gently picked her up. Tiana smiled as she finally grabbed the book that she wanted.
Then she arched her brow. Who helped her just now? When her feet touched the floor and the Koopa let her go, Tiana turned around and gasped. Her face lit up and she had a twinkle in her eyes, realizing who helped her.
"Iggy! You're back!" She said, "Thanks for lifting me up!"
He smiled at her. "No problem." Iggy chuckled again. "You're so short, Tia. It's adorable."
Tiana playfully smacked him and headed to the front desks. Iggy followed behind her as she walked to one of the Koopa Troopas. Tiana pulled out her library card and handed it to her. Iggy patiently waited until they were finished. Once they were, Iggy and Tiana walked out of the library. Iggy glanced down at the book in her arms when they made it outdoors.
"So, what's this book about?" He asked her.
Tiana smiled brightly. "It's about a teenage couple who find out that they're having a baby." She looked down at the cover. "I was so excited when I found out the author finally released it. I even read a short sample that she posted online!"
Iggy looked at her. "It sounds interesting. I'm sure the rest of the book will be great!"
Tiana's smile faltered a little as she looked back at Iggy. "Since you're back, I take it that you guys lost, huh?"
"Eh," Iggy rubbed the back of his head. "Sorta. My dad was going to continue fighting, but the crystal castle started to fall apart."
Tiana gasped. "Oh my goodness! Are you guys alright?"
"Yeah, no one was harmed." Iggy reassured her. Then, Iggy gasped and stopped dead in his tracks. "Talking about that kingdom made me remember! I have something for you!"
"Really? What is it?" Tiana asked.
Iggy reached into his shell and pulled out the crystal. Tiana smiled as he handed it to her.
"This crystal is called Rose Quartz." Iggy explained. "I found it in the Crystal Kingdom and I thought you'd like it."
"Thank you, Iggy! I love it!" Tiana said.
Iggy smiled, pleased that she loved his gift. He offered to walk her home and Tiana accepted it. He was glad that she did. Iggy wanted to be with her for just a little longer. The two friends talked and laughed together as they walked through town. Eventually though, they finally arrived at Tiana's house.
Although Iggy was a little let down, he knew they would soon hang out again.
"Well, my family's waiting for me in the Magma Kingdom. So, I'm gonna head there now."
Tiana nodded as she unlocked the door. "Alright. I'll try to talk to you later if I'm not too focused on this book." She and Iggy laughed. "Alright. Bye, Iggy." Tiana waved at him.
Iggy waved back. "Bye, Tia!"
Once Tiana entered her house and closed the door, Iggy left and started heading to the Magma Kingdom. Tiana spotted her parents and sister in the living room as she walked by. Her parents were watching a movie while her sister had her headphones on listening to music. Tiana walked upstairs and went to her room. She sat on her bed when she went inside and placed the crystal next to her. Tiana opened the book and started to read chapter one of the novel.
Tiana finished reading the first two paragraphs and looked down at the Rose Quartz next to her. Smiling, she sat the book doown and picked up the crystal. She then walked over to her desk and sat down. Tiana switched on her computer and placed the Rose Quartz next to her keyboard. She didn't know much about crystals, but was happy to learn. Naturally, she started reading articles on Rose Quartz. She read that Rose Quartz is a healing crystal. Then, she gasped and blushed.
"It's also known as the Love Stone and the stone of unconditional love?" Tiana stared at her computer screen, her cheeks warm. "D-Did Iggy know this? Does he...? Does Iggy love me more than as a friend?" Tiana giggled and smiled as she looked at the Rose Quartz again. "Nah, that can't be it. I'm sure he only sees me as a friend. Besides, I really like Ludwig!" Tiana smiled again. "Still... he is really sweet and... kinda cute!"
I hope this chapter was alright. I'll post the next chapter soon!
Cleaning Up

Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Glancing at the fragments of her castle, Princess Krystal stood still. Fortunately, none of her staff or friends were hurt and everyone left the castle safely. A few citizens showed up to make sure everyone was alright. Krystal ignored the voices around her. Still gazing at her destroyed castle, she fell to her knees.
"Princess?" Melody said to her.
Then, Krystal burst into tears. Sterling walked over to his girlfriend and knelt down, pulling her into a hug.
"Aw, Krystal, it's going to be alright." Sterling rubbed her back, trying to calm her down. "Please don't cry."
Unfortunately, Krystal sobbed even more. "What am I going to do? How am I going to fix all of the buildings and my castle?!"
Krystal kept crying while Mario and his friends looked on gloomily. With a sigh, Mario turned to face the others.
"What can we do?" Mario asked.
Luigi also sighed. "Is there anything we can do?"
"Right." Peach added, "Everything's destroyed thanks to the Koopas. I don't think—Huh? Daisy?"
Peach and the Bros. watched as Daisy approached Krystal and Sterling. She knelt down on the other side of Krystal and smiled when Krystal looked at her.
"Don't worry. We can help fix everything." Daisy said. "Since you and I can grow crystals, we can fix your wand. Then you'll be able to fix your castle and the rest of the crystal buildings!"
Krystal wiped away her tears. "Y-You guys would want to help? I don't want to bother you..." She sighed. "I mean, it's bad enough that you still had to deal with Bowser and his group."
"It's no problem!" Peach said, she and the Bros. walked closer. "We're happy to help!"
"Right! We'll do whatever you need us to do!" Mario added. Luigi nodded in agreement.
"And we'll help too! Right, Melody?" Sterling asked.
"Yep!" Melody smiled.
Krystal looked at everyone and smiled softly. "Thank you so much!" She slowly stood up and looked at everyone again. "Well, the first thing we should do is get rid of all of the broken crystals."
"How do we do that?" Luigi asked her.
"Well," Krystal explained, "We can either bury them to release the old energy and return it to nature, or throw the pieces into the ocean and thank them for their life."
Daisy said, "Well what are we waiting for? Let's do this!"
Krystal addressed the rest of her people, telling them what they needed to do. Once she was finished, everyone got to work, getting a little dirty in the process. Krystal and Sterling began burying the pieces of her castle. As she picked up a bigger piece, Krystal frowned. Underneath the rubble, she found the rod to her wand. Sighing, she picked up the rod and put it inside of her pocket.
Peach and Melody found the box filled with the Wish Crystals, the chain now off of it. Melody sighed when she opened the box. Every single Wish Crystal was broken. They took the crystals and buried each one in the ground. Mario and Luigi helped them out after burying a few pieces of the castle.
It took awhile, but they finally buried every piece of the crystal castle. They then made their way to where the castle stood. The sight of all the books on the ground made Krystal whimper. Like the items in her castle, some were fine, while others were destroyed. She started burying the crystals with the others and several citizens.
Melody and Mario made their way to Agate Field to help bury the dark crystals once they were finished with the library. Peach and Sterling went to Opal Beach to throw some crystals from Crystal Cavern into the water.
"Thank you for your beautiful energy." Sterling said as he held his crystal to his chest. He then threw it into the deep.
"I appreciate your support." Peach tossed the crystal into the ocean after that.
They found a few more broken crystals and tossed them in the sea.
"I am grateful to have you in my life." They said in unison.
Once they were finished, the two made their way to Amethyst Falls.
Mario wiped some sweat off his brow. "Phew! I think those were the last ones."
"Yep!" Melody said, looking around Agate Field. "Hopefully the princess will be able to fix her wand soon."
"I'm sure she will." Mario said. "Now, let's go to another area."
The two went through a Warp Pipe and arrived in Druse Square. When they got to the center, they saw Luigi and Daisy removing removing the broken rainbow crystal out of the glass case. Melody frowned as she and Mario got closer.
"It was so beautiful..." Melody thought to herself.
They each grabbed some pieces and began to bury them in the ground. When they were done, they walked around the area, looking for more broken crystals to bury.
Peach stayed in the jungle area of Amethyst Falls while Sterling went to the desert area. She found a few broken crystals and began to bury them in the ground. Peach was starting to get a little tired, but continued to work. She sighed as she thought back to what happened. How much negative energy did Bowser and his family have?
After burying a pink crystal, Peach stopped for a moment to rest. She really wanted to keep going, but she was growing more and more exhausted. Peach sat against a tree and closed her eyes. After a few minutes, she was going to continue searching for more broken crystals.
"You're tired too, huh?" Peach opened her eyes and looked up, seeing Sterling standing next to her.
"A little." Peach replied.
Sterling stretched and sat down next to her. He chuckled when he looked at Peach again.
"What is it?" Peach asked.
Sterling wiped some dirt off of her forehead. "I guess we all are gonna need to take a shower later."
"That's true. You've got so much dirt on your clothes." Peach laughed.
The two sat in silence for a couple of minutes. Then, Sterling spoke. "Peach? What's it like in the Mushroom Kingdom?"
Peach smiled. "It's amazing! The grassy plains and beaches are gorgeous. All of the Toads are very friendly. The Mushroom Kingdom is so peaceful too." Peach giggled. "Well, when Bowser isn't attacking it anyways."
Sterling laughed. "I hope I can visit one day. It sounds like a great place. Plus, it'd be nice to see where our ancestors lived."
"You should! I'd love for you to visit!" Peach replied.
After a few more minutes, Sterling helped Peach up and they continued looking for more broken crystals.
As time went on, the sun started to set, and the citizens went home. Krystal returned to where her castle once stood and sighed. All of the broken crystals were finally buried or thrown into the ocean, so now there was one more thing to do. Krystal turned around when she heard footsteps coming towards her. She saw Sterling and the others, Daisy walking closer to her.
"Alright! You ready to fix the wand, Krystal?" She asked. Daisy noticed Krystal's frown and got concerned. "What's wrong?"
"We have two problems..." Krystal sighed.
"Huh? What are they?" Daisy asked.
"Well," Krystal sighed again, "One, the crystals that we make aren't magical and the wand won't work without magic. And two, I don't think the crystals I'd make right now will be good because of the negative energy and stress."
Daisy also frowned. "Right. You got a point."
Krystal sighed for a third time. This was definitely a problem. She really wanted to fix her wand and the buildings ASAP. She needed to! What could they do? Then, Krystal gasped softly and smiled, getting an idea after a moment. She walked closer to her boyfriend.
"Sterling, can everyone stay at your castle for the night?" She asked.
He nodded. "Of course!"
Krystal then looked back at Daisy. "Sterling has a pool filled with moon water! We can find some crystals to add to the pool. Then you and I can sit in the water and meditate!"
Daisy grinned. "That's a great idea, Krystal!"
"And tonight is the full moon, so your meditation will be even more powerful!" Melody added.
"Huh?" Sterling spoke up. "Why not just take a crystal bath? It sounds similar anyways."
Krystal turned to him. "Would you rather Daisy and I be naked in your tub together?"
Sterling's cheeks grew a little warm. "Eh!?"
"He probably wanted to see that." Daisy replied, playfully smirking.
"Sterling, you naughty boy..." Krystal smiled smugly as she joined in on teasing him.
Sterling quickly shook his head, his face now red. "N-No! That wasn't on my mind!"
After giggling, Krystal spoke again. "Sterling? I know it's a little far, but can you, Mario, and Luigi head to the mountains?"
"What do you need from there?" Sterling asked as he calmed down.
"Well, for the pool, we're gonna need these specific crystals: Amethyst, Black Obsidian, Carnelian, Citrine, Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz, Rutilated Quartz, and Smoky Quartz." Krystal replied.
Sterling nodded as he finished typing every crystal name in his phone. He put his phone away and asked, "What are they for?"
Krystal replied, "Those crystals can be put in water."
"Oh right!" Sterling chuckled. "We can do that! Right, guys?"
Mario and Luigi agreed, giving them a thumbs up.
"Is there anything I can do, Princess?" Melody asked.
"Well," Krystal looked at Melody. "It's getting late. I think you should head back home with your parents."
Melody frowned. "Aww."
Krystal gave Melody a smile and patted her on the head. "Don't worry. You can come to Sterling's castle in the morning to help out with anything when we fix the wand."
Melody smiled at her. "Really? Great!"
After saying goodbye to everyone, Melody turned and started heading home.
Ok... I've been working on this chapter all day. It would've been up WAY earlier, but I went to the store with my aunt, helped my mom with a few things, and stopped to eat dinner. But this chapter is finally finished! I'll try to post the next one tomorrow!
In the Mountains
So, I forgot that my mom started her vacation and I don't usually write when she's home cuz I just don't have the time. But I got time at the moment! I hope you all like this chapter!

Once Melody was out of sight, Sterling led Krystal and the others out of the Crystal Kingdom. When they walked through the forest, Mario and his friends gasped, seeing the stardust everywhere. Krystal frowned when she saw that the crystals in the forest were now broken and buried underground. She tried to push her feelings aside and followed Sterling. Pretty soon, the group finally arrived in Stardust Land.
Mario and the others looked around in amazement. There was a lot of stardust in the kingdom, maybe more than in the forest. There were also shooting stars in the sky, albeit they were somewhat obscured by the full moon. Sterling smiled and, after telling them that they were currently walking through Nebula Town, gave them a quick tour. He pointed to a desert area, called the Celestial Oasis. Next, they saw the Stardust Land Library, located in Astralnova, the capital of Stardust Land.
Next to the library was a coffee shop. Across the street from it was an elementary school and a park.
"Wow!" Peach exclaimed. "This is beautiful!"
"Thanks!" Sterling smiled. "I like Stardust Land in the morning, but I find it more alluring at night."
After walking through the town, they finally made it to a large, blue castle.
"We're here!" Sterling said. The two guards opened the doors and everyone walked inside.
After guiding them through the hallways, Sterling brought them to the living room. He spotted an empty brown bag near the couch and grabbed it.
"You ladies can stay here while we search for the crystals." said Sterling.
"Thank you very much!" Peach answered.
Krystal walked over to the couch, but hesitated.
"Uh, maybe we should take a shower first before sitting down." She said, looking at her dirty gloves and dress.
Sterling laughed. "Oh right. One second."
The cosmic prince left the living room. When he returned a minute later, three Toad maids were with him.
"My maids will take you to the bathrooms to shower and they'll get you some clean pajamas to wear while your clothes are getting washed." Sterling explained.
"Thanks, Sterling!" Krystal replied.
The three maids led the princesses to the bathrooms. Sterling then turned to Mario and Luigi, asking, "Ready?"
"Yeah!" The Bros. replied in unison.
"Alright! Let's go!"
After leaving the living room, Sterling and the Bros. left the castle.
After stopping at a store to buy tools, Sterling, Mario, and Luigi walked out of Stardust Land and through the forest. Soon after, they returned to the Crystal Kingdom and walked through it, making their way to the mountains. They looked around Geode City, seeing that most of the crystals that were around the area were now in the ground. Only a few were still whole. If only those were the crystals the princesses needed.
The three eventually left the Crystal Kingdom and were getting closer to the mountains. They spotted a Warp Pipe near some trees and rocks. They walked over to the pipe and looked at it.
"This will take us to the mountains." Sterling said.
Sterling jumped down the Warp Pipe, followed by Luigi and Mario. When they climbed out of the second Warp Pipe, they looked around. They saw many high mountains, rocks, a forest, and a few animals running by.
"We made it," Sterling took a step forward. "Now, let's find those crystals."
Sterling repeated the list of crystals that they needed to the Bros. Unfamiliar with crystals, Mario and Luigi pulled out their phones and went to look up each crystal's name. They wanted to make sure they found the exact ones without asking Prince Sterling every few seconds.
"Hey! I found a Black Obsidian!" Sterling called out to them. He picked up the crystal and placed it inside of the brown bag.
Walking along the streambed, Mario and Luigi spotted a few stones. The brothers knelt down to get a closer look at them.
"Which crystals are these?" Luigi asked.
"Hmm," Mario began to look up the names of the crystals. "Oh! This is a Smoky Quartz!" Mario pointed to the other crystal. "And this is a Rutilated Quartz!"
Mario and Luigi grabbed the crystals and ran over to Sterling. They showed the prince the crystals and placed them inside the bag. As they resumed their search for more crystals, they heard barking in the distance. The three men froze in place. The barking was getting closer and closer. As they turned around, the guys saw a Chain Chomp coming towards them.
Screaming, the three ran away as the Chain Chomp began to chase them. As they ran, Mario spotted a Question Block up ahead. Praying that it wasn't a coin inside, Mario got closer and hit the block. Thankfully, there was a Hammer Suit inside. After grabbing the power-up, Mario threw hammers at the Chain Chomp. After a few hits, the Chain Chomp whimpered and hopped away.
Mario sighed. "That was close."
Then, behind them, a larger Chain Chomp was coming their way, barking at them. The Chain Chomp got closer and tried to bite them, but Mario fought it. He threw more hammers at the large Chain Chomp until it was finally defeated. Everyone sighed, relieved that the Chain Chomps wouldn't attack them now. They then went back to searching for the crystals.
Mario spotted an Amethyst and a Rose Quartz as he dug a hole in the ground. He put the two crystals into Sterling's bag and went back to digging. Luigi found a Clear Quartz behind a rock. A few minutes later, Sterling found a Citrine and a Carnelian. After putting the crystals in the bag, Sterling smiled.
"I think that's all of the crystals Krystal asked for! Let's head back to my castle!"
Mario and Luigi then followed the prince back through the green Warp Pipe. After making it out on the other side, they headed back through the Crystal Kingdom and made their way to Stardust Land.
Since today's my cousin's birthday, we're gonna be at my grandparents house tomorrow to celebrate. So I probably won't post the next chapter. If I don't then I'll try to post one day next week if I can!
Meditating
I'm back with a new chapter! Hope you enjoy :)

The guys returned to Stardust Land after making their way through the forest once more. They walked through the kingdom until they arrived at the front doors of the castle. The three headed toward the living room as soon as they were inside the castle. When they got there, they saw the girls in their pajamas, watching a movie. Sterling and the Mario Bros. walked over to them.
"We found all of the crystals!" Sterling said, showing them the bag.
Krystal flashed a radient smile. "Wow, that's great! Thank you all so much!"
The two princesses stood up and Sterling escorted them outside through the backdoors. When they got there, Daisy saw a large pool filled with moon water. It glistened in the moonlight, making Daisy smile. Sterling handed Krystal the bag of crystals and she gently placed them inside the pool. Daisy watched as the crystals went into the water one by one. When the last crystal was placed into the water, Krystal handed the empty bag to Sterling and looked at Daisy.
"We should wait 5-10 minutes to let the crystals activate." Krystal explained.
Daisy nodded and gave her a thumbs up. "Alright!"
Sterling and the girls walked back inside to sit with the others. Two maids arrived and handed Krystal and Daisy towels and bathing suits. They thanked the maids and watched them leave.
Five minutes went by and Daisy turned to face Krystal.
Daisy asked her, "So, should we change into these now?"
"Hmm. Yeah, since it's almost time." Krystal replied.
Daisy followed Krystal out of the living room and upstairs to the guest rooms. They each went into one and began putting on their bathing suits. Once they were ready, they grabbed their towels and Krystal led Daisy back outside while the others waited in the castle. Krystal looked up at the sky, smiling at the full moon. The princesses sat their towels on the beach chairs and got inside the pool. Daisy and Krystal sat across from each other, surrounded by the crystals.
"We should meditate for 15-20 minutes." Krystal said. She then remembered something. "Oh! I nearly forgot. We also have to set an intention, which is to fix the wand and the kingdom. We can also use affirmations."
"Ok." Daisy nodded.
Krystal held out her hands, waiting for Daisy to hold them. Once she did, the princesses closed their eyes. Then, they took a deep breath in. After holding it for four seconds, they let the breath out. In and out. In and out. In and out. Daisy was slowly starting to feel relaxed. After taking a few more deep breaths, Krystal whispered the intention.
"My intention is to restore and rebuild the Crystal Kingdom, bringing unity, peace, and prosperity to its people."
Daisy, also whispering, used an affirmation. "I am a powerful force for transformation, committed to rebuilding the Crystal Kingdom with strength, wisdom, and unity."
The two started mentally reciting their affirmation and intention repeatedly. Daisy smiled to herself, feeling more relaxed each second that went by. Krystal said the affirmation again in her head, but began to tense up. What if their meditation session didn't work? What if they can't fix her wand? What if her kingdom stays broken forever? What if—
"Hey." Krystal felt Daisy gently squeezing her hands, trying to comfort her. She opened her eyes and looked at the tomboyish princess, who gave her a warm smile. "Everything's gonna be alright. Just try to relax, ok?"
Krystal nodded and the two closed their eyes again. Krystal took more deep breaths. Deep breath in. Deep breath out. Deep breath in. Deep breath out.
After taking more breaths, Krystal began to calm down and relax again. They could do this. The wand will be fixed and the kingdom will be restored to its original state. They continued repeating the same intention and affirmation from earlier. They both took another deep breath.
After twenty minutes, the two princesses were now completely relaxed. Daisy and Krystal got out of the pool, dried off, and made their way back inside the castle. They saw that the others were still in the living room watching tv.
Krystal sighed and said, "Ahh, I feel so much better now! I can definitely make better crystals tomorrow!"
Sterling glanced at the clock on the wall. "It's getting late. I'll take you all to the guest rooms."
Everyone followed Sterling upstairs after he turned off the tv. He took Mario, Luigi, and Peach to their rooms and went to ask his maids to get them some pajamas. While they were getting ready for bed, Daisy and Krystal went back to the bathrooms to take another shower.
"We're going to fix everything, Krystal. Tomorrow morning, we're gonna fix the wand and the kingdom will be back to normal." Krystal said to herself.
Daisy and Krystal finished their shower and changed back into the pajamas the maids gave them earlier. After brushing their hair, they made their way back to their rooms. Now that everyone was ready for bed, they lied under the blankets and gradually drifted off to sleep.
I wish this chapter was a little longer. I'll try to work on the next chapter tomorrow!
Ruins to Radiance
Here's a new chapter!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
The entire castle was illuminated by the bright sunlight. As Krystal woke up, she slowly opened her eyes and sat up.
"Today's the day. We're gonna fix my crystal wand and rebuild the kingdom." She whispered to herself.
As she ran her fingers through her hair, she heard a knock on the door.
"Princess Krystal? Are you awake, Your majesty?" She heard a voice say.
Krystal looked at the door. "Yes! I just woke up!"
The doorknob turned and the door slowly opened. A Toad butler entered the room and smiled at her.
"Good morning, Princess! I have been asked by the Prince to take everyone to the dining hall for breakfast." The Toad explained.
Krystal smiled at him. "Thank you."
She went into the corridor with the Toad after leaving the room. Krystal saw the others waiting and said good morning to them. The butler led everyone down the stairs and through the hall. Prince Sterling was waiting at the table when they eventually made it to the dining hall. As the others approached and took their seats at the table, Sterling yawned.
"So, are you guys ready for today?" He asked.
"Yep! I can't wait!" Daisy smiled broadly as she answered him.
Plates of food were carried into the dining hall by the chefs. They sat the plates down in front of everyone. Mario and Luigi licked their lips as they looked down at their plates. Everyone had pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. One of the chefs sat cups in front of everyone and poured them all orange juice. The chefs bowed when they were finished and left the dining hall.
A maid entered the dining hall a few minutes later as everyone ate. She cleared her throat, getting Sterling's attention.
"Your Highness, I dried everyone's clothes and put them in their rooms." She said,
Sterling smiled at the brown-haired Shy Gal. "Thank you, Maria."
Maria returned the smile, curtsied, and walked out of the room. After that, everyone ate their breakfast in silence. As she took a sip of her orange juice, Krystal reflected on all that had transpired. Having fun at her party, the Koopas attacking and taking over the kingdom, the crystal buildings and castle collapsing. She sat her cup down and took a bite of her eggs.
Everyone finished their breakfast and made their way back upstairs to brush their teeth and wash their faces. When they were finished, they went back to their rooms to get dressed for the day. Krystal sat in front of the mirror after putting on her dress and brushed her hair. She took a deep breath, trying to remain calm. Everything will be fine. They could do this!
When she was done, she put on her short white gloves and then her gold crown. Krystal stood up and straightened her dress. After looking at her reflection and making sure she looked alright, she walked out of the room. The others left their rooms at the same time. They then went to the throne room. Sterling was sitting on his throne, waiting for them.
"So, this is it." Sterling said.
Reaching into her pocket, Krystal took out the gray rod. When they heard people running, everyone turned to face the entryway. Then, Melody and Dorian entered the throne room and ran towards everyone.
"Your Highness! We're here!" Dorian said as he bowed.
"Are we late?" asked Melody.
Sterling chuckled. "No. You've made it just in time."
Daisy walked over and stood in front of Krystal as she held the rod up. Krystal prepared to start, but hesitated.
"Wait a minute. The crystals you and I grow aren't magical. How are we gonna make the wand work when we fix it?" She wondered.
"Oh, that's right!" Daisy looked at her. "What are we going to do?"
The two frowned, uncertain of what to do.
"Um," Peach spoke up. "I have magic. Maybe I can try to transfer some of it into the crystals."
Sterling nodded. "I can do the same!"
Krystal smiled and looked at the wand in her hand. Daisy held onto the rod also and the two took a deep breath. Channeling her energy, Krystal touched the top of the rod. She and Daisy gasped and smiled when they saw a pink crystal growing. Daisy placed her hand on top of the rod, growing a teal crystal. Next, Daisy grew an orange crystal.
Melody beamed as she and the others watched the two princesses grow more crystals. Krystal grew a blue one. Then a green one. Daisy grew two purple ones after growing a red crystal. They both grew a yellow crystal and then another blue one. Next, a darker pink crystal.
After a few minutes, the crystal wand was complete. It looked as if it was never broken.
Dorian jumped up and down. "You did it! You fixed it!"
Krystal giggled. "Almost, Dorian."
Sterling stood as Krystal walked over to him. She handed him the fixed wand and said, "Now it's your turn."
Peach got closer and stood across from Sterling. Krystal watched them, slightly trembling with anticipation. Sterling and Peach placed a hand on the crystals and closed their eyes. The two began to transfer some of their magic into the crystals. Krystal looked at the gem as Peach and Sterling continued transferring their magic.
"Oh my gosh! It's really happening!" Krystal thought to herself.
Sterling handed the wand back to Krystal after they were finished. "Here you go, honey."
Krystal nervously held the wand and looked at it. "I... I guess I should test it out first."
Krystal inhaled deeply and extended her hand. She waved the wand and everyone gasped in awe. A Pearl appeared in her hand!
"It works!" Krystal laughed. "It works! We fixed my wand!" She looked at everyone else. "We should head to the Crystal Kingdom to test it out more!"
Krystal put the Pearl into her pocket and followed everyone out of Sterling's castle.
Once everyone made it back to the Crystal Kingdom, they made their way to Druse Square and to the location where the library once stood.
Krystal took a deep breath. "Alright. I can do this!"
Krystal waved her wand while the others looked on. Then, they gasped and grinned, seeing a large purple crystal building rose up out of the ground. Krystal grinned when she was done. The library was back!
"We'll have to replace most of the books since they were destroyed, but I'm so happy the library is back!"
She made her way to another area where a crystal building fell. She waved her wand, creating a green building. The Princess walked around her kingdom growing crystal gardens, creating brand new Wish Crystals, and cleansing the crystals that weren't broken. Daisy also helped out by growing crystals around the kingdom. The two princesses were smiling and having fun growing new crystals.
Eventually, everyone made it to where here castle once stood. Krystal inhaled deeply once more before using her wand once again. They watched as a large pink castle began to grow from the ground, along with the Crystal Tower. Once she was finished, everyone cheered. The Crystal Kingdom was back to normal!
Giggling, Krystal walked over to everyone and hugged them tightly. "Thank you! Thank you all so much for your help!"
After hugging Daisy, Krystal walked over to Sterling. She hugged and kissed him, making them both blush.
"You know, now that the kingdom is fixed, I wanna throw a party for you all to thank you!" Krystal said. She looked at her wand again. "After we meditated, I was still a little upset at Bowser, but I'm not too upset at the kids." Krystal smiled, getting an idea. "Hm. I want to bake a Geode Cake for them."
Everyone stared at the Princess, puzzled by what she said. Melody was the first to speak up. "Why would you do that, Princess?"
Krystal giggled. "I know they helped attack the kingdom, but they were only following orders from their parents, especially Bowser." She smiled again. "I believe that there's good in them. Especially after talking with Iggy for a short while."
Peach, Daisy, and Melody offered to help Krystal make the cake. After thanking them, everyone walked inside of the castle.
This would've been posted earlier, but my aunt asked me to go with her to another appointment. I'll try to post the next chapter tomorrow!
Baking a Cake
Hi! Here's the next chapter :D
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
Krystal led everyone to the now empty throne room. Using her wand, she grew a brand new crystal throne.
"Hm... We're gonna have to replace all of the furniture and other stuff that I lost." Krystal said.
Waving her wand, Krystal created another Wish Crystal. She looked at the oval-shaped crystal and made a wish. Then, all of the castle's rooms had brand-new furniture. Melody and Dorian hurried along the hallways with excitement, exploring the rooms and seeing the new items.
Krystal couldn't help but laugh at their excitement, finding the two kids adorable. Dorian and Melody went to the kitchen and saw all of the items and ingredients back. They then ran to the Great Hall, seeing the large table and chairs. While the two kids were gone, Krystal used the Wish Crystal to wish for the books to be replaced in the Crystal Kingdom Library. Dorian and Melody continued to run through the halls of the castle, seeing everything back to normal.
The kids returned, beaming broadly.
"Princess! You did it!" Melody cheered.
Dorian grinned. "Everything's back to normal! It's like the castle wasn't even broken!"
Krystal smiled at them. "I'm glad!" She sat her wand and the oval-shaped Wish Crystal onto her new throne. "Now, why don't we start baking that cake!"
While the guys sat in the living room and watched tv, the girls made their way to the kitchen. Krystal and Melody went through the cabinets and drawers. As they grabbed a few items, Krystal thought for a second.
"Does anyone know where the Koopas are?" She asked.
Melody sat the measuring cup on the counter. "I heard that they all went to the Magma Kingdom after the battle."
Krystal nodded and smiled. "Alright. I'll send the cake there then."
"Princess, you're too nice." Melody chuckled. The others laughed along with her.
Peach looked at everything on the counter. She saw cake pans, a whisk, a mixer, and other items. They had everything they needed to make the cake. Everything, except for one more ingredient.
Krystal gasped. "Wait a minute! We don't have rock candy!"
"Rock candy?" Daisy repeated.
Krystal nodded. "That's what we use to make the cake look like a Geode."
"Oh!" Peach replied. "That makes sense!"
Daisy smiled. "Peach and I can buy some rock candy for you!"
"I can go with them!" Melody said.
Krystal smiled and thanked them. Peach, Daisy, and Melody walked out of the kitchen and headed to the store.
Peach and Daisy looked around the store when the three of them walked inside. The store was pretty big and lots of people were shopping today. When they first walked inside, they saw the produce section and near it was the bakery and the meat section.
"Come on! I'll show you where the candy is!" Melody said and started walking to the right.
Daisy and Peach followed behind her and looked around the store. There were so many delicious foods here. Even some that they've never heard of! After passing the chip aisle, they finally found the candy aisle.
"Here we are!" Melody said.
Peach and Daisy looked around the shelves. There was chocolate, licorice, marshmallows, sour candy, gummy candy, and many more. Daisy walked over to a shelf and smiled.
"Wow! This cotton candy looks so tasty!" She said,
Peach chuckled, "Daisy, we're here for rock candy. Nothing else."
Daisy smiled sheepishly. "Oh. Right."
Melody walked down the aisle while giggling. Then she smiled.
"Here it is!" She called out to them.
Peach and Daisy walked over to her and looked at the bag of rock candy in her hands.
"Perfect! Let's buy it and bring it to Krystal!" Peach said.
The three made their way to the cashier at the front of the store. After giving the cashier a few purple coins, the three said goodbye to her and made their way out of the door. As they walked away from the store, Daisy glanced down at the candy.
"I can't wait to see what the cake looks like!" She said.
"Me neither! I've never heard of Geode cakes until now!" Peach replied.
Melody smiled. "It's amazing! And delicious too! Now, let's get this candy back to the princess!"
While the cake was in the oven, the girls joined the guys in the living room. The show that they were watching ended, and while the commercials played, they all decided to talk.
"Who should we invite to the party?" Melody wondered.
"Well," Krystal thought for a moment. "It'd be great if everyone who was at my birthday party could come."
Daisy chuckled. "Well, we're here. So you already got a few of your guests."
Krystal laughed. "That's true." She picked up her phone and looked through her contacts. "I'm sure Queen Flora and King Malachite will be able to come. Their daughter Esmeralda loves visiting! Malachite too, since he used to live here."
"Maybe Queen Bean and Prince Peasely can come back." Peach said.
"Princess Eclair too!" Luigi added.
Soon, the cake was finished and the girls returned to the kitchen. Krystal took the cake out of the oven and they began decorating. After using food coloring and adding the frosting and rock candy, the cake was finished.
"Whoa!" Daisy looked more closely. "It really does look like a Geode!"
Krystal nodded. "Yep! This is my favorite type of cake to bake!"
After finding a cake box, Krystal placed the Geode cake inside. She closed the box, picked it up, and left the kitchen with the others. While the other three went back to the living room, Krystal left the castle.
Krystal walked through Druse Square until she spotted the post office. Smiling, she walked over to it and went inside. When she did, she saw a familiar Koopa Paratroopa inside.
"Hello, Parakarry!" She greeted.
Parakarry turned around and smiled at her. Oh, hello, Your Highness!"
Krystal walked over to him and showed him the box. "I have a special delivery for you!"
After taking the box, Parakarry looked at the label on it, reading the location.
"Alright! I'll be able to take it there tomorrow!"
Krystal turned and started walking towards the front door. "Great! Thank you, Parakarry! See ya later!"
After waving goodbye, Krystal left the post office and headed back to her castle.
That's it for now! I think I'll have time tomorrow to write :)
The Princess's Gift
There's two more chapters after this one! I hope this chapter will be good.
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
The following day, everyone started getting ready for the party. Krystal got in contact with each guest that came to her birthday party too. Luckily, they all were able to come to this new party. Melody and Dorian sat on the floor as they blew up balloons.
"Everyone is coming to this party?" Dorian asked.
Krystal nodded. "Yep! I still can't believe they all can come!" Krystal giggled. "This is going to be so much fun!"
After finishing the inside of the castle, everyone went to Druse Square to finish decorating. Tables with a wide variety of food and beverages were already set up. As the aroma of the various dishes filled the air, Mario's stomach rumbled. The others laughed, making him blush. Mario and Luigi helped Sterling hang some streamers and Melody and Dorian began to blow up some more balloons. Peach and Daisy looked over the drinks and foods, making sure that they had everything.
Krystal grinned as she took in their efforts. Everything was perfect! This party was going to be even better than her birthday party! She saw the others stretching when they were finished setting everything up. Krystal walked over to them, looking at more of the decorations and food.
"Well, everything is finished." Sterling said as he stretched again.
Krystal nodded and looked at everyone. "Well, the guests will be here in two hours. Why don't we head inside and rest?" She suggested.
The others agreed and followed the princess inside the castle.
Back in the Magma Kingdom, Bowser and his family were in the dining hall, waiting for Clawdeen's chefs to bring everyone their dinner. A few minutes later, entered the room, carrying many plates filled with steak, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. When they spotted the broccoli on their plates, some of the kids, particularly Junior and Talisa, groaned and pouted. Langston and Clawdia gave the two youngest children a look, letting them know that they had to eat their vegetables. Once everyone had their dinner, they began to eat as the chefs brought them their drinks.
Bowser sighed as he took a huge bite of his steak. "Well, we lost again..."
"Yeah... I'm sorry we couldn't stop Mario and the others, Uncle Bowser." Talisa sighed, poking at her food.
Bowser gave his niece a smile. "Don't worry, cutie. I'll be able to stop those guys someday."
Everyone was quiet for a bit as they ate. Then, Sandra smiled and spoke up.
"I'm happy we went to the Crystal Kingdom." Sandra took a sip of her soda. "I wrote a new story earlier, and a lot of people online love it!" Her smile turned into a grin. "They're praising me and saying how proud they are of my improvement!"
Alex snorted, almost choking on her soda. "Improvement? You ain't even improve on your own! You used a Wish Crystal!"
Sandra rolled her eyes at her sister. "I'm just happy that I can write better stories now." After taking another bite of her food, she looked at Iggy. "Tiana should've asked you to wish for her to have better writing and drawing skills!"
Iggy shrugged. "I offered to, but she said she wants to learn on her own first." Iggy ate some of his broccoli. "If she changes her mind, I can always sneak over to the Crystal Kingdom and find a Wish Crystal to make her wishes come true."
Sharon chuckled and said, "Awww, Iggy! You're such a sweet boyfriend!"
Iggy blushed as the other kids laughed. "I'm not her boyfriend!"
"Not yet..." Larry chuckled.
Iggy ignored his siblings and cousins, going back to eating his dinner. As he ate, his mind went to his friend. He really did love Tiana. She's really sweet, kind, caring, and beautiful. Especially her eyes. Those pretty, light purple eyes.
Every time he'd look at her, Iggy felt like he could get lost in them. After taking another bite, Iggy smiled to himself.
"Yeah. I don't need a magic crystal to get what I want. One day, I'll tell Tia how I feel." Iggy drank more of his soda. "I just hope she feels the same..."
As everyone ate, one of Clawdeen's servants entered the dining hall, carrying a violet box.
"Your Highness! You have a package!" The Koopa Troopa servant handed the box to Langston, bowed, and quietly left.
Langston opened the box and the kids smiled. Inside was the Geode cake.
"Wow! That looks delicious!" Lemmy said, licking his lips.
"Oh. There's also a card in here." Langston picked up the card and read it out loud for everyone to hear.
"Hi kids! I have no hard feelings towards you guys. I hope you enjoy this cake the others and I made!
-Princess Krystal."
"Alright!" Bowser Jr. cheered as he jumped from his seat. "Let's dig in!"
Clawdia chuckled. "You guys can eat this after dinner."
Junior and Talisa pouted, making Clawdeen laugh. "Clawdia's right. Finish your dinner and then we'll give everyone a slice."
"Fine..." Bowser Jr. grumbled. He sat back down and ate more of his steak and forced down his broccoli.
I'll post the next chapter next Tuesday if I got time :D
The Party
Hi! It's currently Sunday, and I got some time to write! I hope you like this chapter. There's one more after this one!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
As more visitors entered the Crystal Kingdom, they headed to Druse Square, the location of the party. Grinning, Krystal grabbed a microphone. She switched it on and started talking.
"Hello everybody! I sincerely appreciate everyone attending this celebration! Let's have a great time together!" Krystal chuckled to herself. "I'm sure this party will be far better than the last one since no one will attack the kingdom this time."
The guests laughed at her comment. The celebration began after Krystal finished and switched off the microphone. After setting down the microphone, she approached Dorian, Melody, and Sterling. With a joyful sigh, she gave the cosmic prince a hug.
"Thank you for helping save the kingdom. You too, Melody." Krystal said.
Melody grinned. "No problem, Princess!"
The royal couple leaned in and shared a kiss. Melody and Dorian giggled as they watched their prince and princess.
"You guys are so cute together!" Melody said, making Sterling and Krystal blush as they pulled away.
Dorian smirked as he looked at the prince. "So, Prince Sterling, when are you gonna buy a ring for Princess Krystal?"
Dorian's question caused Krystal and Sterling to blush even more. They turned to see Melody laughing.
"Hahaha! I asked him when he planned on proposing to the princess while we were in Opal Beach." Melody laughed harder. "He was so surprised, he tripped and fell into the sand!"
Sterling groaned. "And I got a mouthful of sand too..."
Krystal laughed as she imagined the scene, which made Sterling more embarrassed.
While those four talked, the Bros. and the princesses sat at a table together. They all got hungry, Mario and Luigi more than the girls, and grabbed some pizza and some fruit punch. Mario took another bite of his pizza and looked around at everyone. The guests were having a great time talking, dancing, and eating. He also saw a lot of the citizens of the Crystal Kingdom. They were even happier than when he and his friends first arrived.
"I'm glad everything's back to normal." Mario smiled.
"Me too." Luigi replied. He looked over at Sterling and Krystal. He chuckled, seeing the couple kissing again. "Princess Krystal is even happier now that her kingdom is fixed."
"Being in the pool with moon water and the crystals definitely helped." Daisy said.
Peach took a sip of her punch, then grinned as she turned to face her friends. "We should visit the Crystal Kingdom again soon."
"Man, that cake was tasty!" John said as he rubbed his stomach.
While Junior and Talisa went to bed, the rest of the kids chose to hang out in the game room before they had to go to sleep.
"I still can't believe the princess made us that cake after everything that happened." replied Sandra.
"Yeah," Wendy giggled. "She seems too nice to me."
John turned on the tv and handed Larry, Morton, and Theodore each a controller. When he turned on the game and they got ready, they heard a phone ringing.
"Huh? Whose phone is that?" John wondered.
Everyone checked their phones and saw that it wasn't theirs. Then, Iggy pulled out his.
"Oh, it's Iggy's." Sharon said. "Who's calling you?"
"Uh..." Iggy looked at his phone. "It's Tiana."
Iggy rolled his eyes as the others oohed at his response. Standing up, he walked into the hallway and answered the call.
"Hey, Tiana!" Iggy greeted his friend.
"Hi, Iggy! I took a break from the book, and I thought about talking to you!" Tiana responded.
Iggy smiled. "I'm glad you called, Tia. I was kinda bored, honestly."
Tiana walked around her room and stood near her desk. "I'm actually halfway finished the book."
Iggy gasped, making Tiana chuckle. "Already?! It's that good, huh?"
"Yeah." Tiana adjusted her glasses. "There's a lot of drama going on with the families of the main characters."
"I bet." Iggy smirked. "I mean, two teens having a baby? I'm sure the parents are pissed!"
Tiana chuckled. "Oh, they definitely were!"
Iggy took a deep breath. Should he tell her now? Maybe...
"Hey, Tia?" He started.
"Yes, Iggy?" She replied.
"Uh..." Iggy hesitated and slightly shook, feeling a little nervous. Maybe tonight wasn't the right time. "Um, you really liked the crystal, huh?"
Iggy wanted to bang his head against the wall. "Why am I such a coward!?"
"Oh, yeah! I got it sitting right here on my desk!" Tiana said, placing a finger on the Rose Quartz.
"That's uh, that's great!" Iggy said, mentally kicking himself.
Tiana giggled, making Iggy's heart skip a beat. "Well, I guess I'll go back to reading. I'll probably end up finishing the book tomorrow."
Iggy replied, "Great! I'll talk to you later, Tia!"
Once Tiana said goodbye, Iggy hung up and put his phone back inside of his shell. He then froze, hearing Sharon's voice from inside the game room.
"Guys! He didn't tell her!" He heard his cousin say.
"What?!" Iggy rushed back into the room. "Sharon?! Were you eavesdropping on our conversation?!"
Sharon chuckled. "Maybe..."
Iggy blushed as his cousins and siblings laughed. He grumbled as he sat back down on the couch.
"Dude, you really got it bad!" John laughed. "You had the chance to tell her, but you didn't! Are you that scared or something?"
Iggy ignored him and closed his eyes.
Sharon added, "He seemed like he was going to tell her too!"
"Iggy?" Sandra sat closer to her younger cousin, making Iggy open his eyes. "I'm sure if you tell Tiana how you feel, you both will be happy."
Alex chuckled. "And Sandy will probably make a story based on you guys."
Sandra pouted after hearing that. "I would never!"
Iggy sighed and shook his head. He sat up straight and looked at the others.
"Alright! When I'm finally ready, I'll tell Tia that I love her, ok?" Iggy adjusted his glasses. "And if she does feel the same, I want you guys to stop teasing me about this!"
"Hmm..." Lemmy thought for a second. "No!" He playfully smirked at Iggy.
Austin laughed. "Yeah! It's too much fun messing with you about Tiana!"
Iggy shook his head. "You guys can be really annoying sometimes..."
After that, everyone went back to their activities. Iggy closed his eyes again and thought to himself.
"Maybe not today, but one day, I'll tell her."
That's it for now! Now, I probably won't write tomorrow, so the final chapter might be up either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Btw, I never mentioned it in chapter 22, but the book Tiana is reading is a reference to my other fanfic "A New Baby Redux", which I might rewrite for a third time lol
Going Home
Hi everyone! Here's the final chapter of this story! It's currently Monday and like I said before, I don't usually write on Sunday's or Monday's, but I'm gonna try to right now :D I hope you all like this one!
Disclaimer: I only own my FCs!
The party was still going on and everyone was having so much fun! Children and adults alike were blowing bubbles, using confetti poppers, and spraying silly string. As Mario and the others talked, Krystal and her friends walked over to them.
"Thank you guys again for all of your help!" Krystal smiled at them.
Mario chuckled. "We didn't really do much until we were out of those crystals, Princess."
"Well, I'm still grateful for your help." Krystal responded. She looked at Daisy and smiled again. "It was also fun meditating with you, Daisy."
Daisy replied, "Yeah! It was nice and so relaxing!"
Krystal laughed. "Yes. Even though I did get nervous at one point, you calmed me down. So, thank you for that."
Daisy smiled at her. "No problem!"
Krystal was really kind. Daisy reflected on the previous events. When Krystal lost her castle, her buildings, and her crystals, she felt terrible for her. When she witnessed the princess drop to her knees and sob, her feelings worsened. Daisy really wanted to help her and was glad that everything worked out. She really liked Krystal.
She liked all of them.
An hour went by and the party was slowly starting to end. Krystal said goodbye to the guests that were starting to leave and she thanked them for coming. More and more people started to leave and waved to Krystal. Eventually, the guests went back home and it was just Krystal and the others. They all looked around at the decorations and empty trays. Mario and the others offered to help clean up, which Krystal was very thankful for.
Once they were finished cleaning up Druse Square, Dorian and Melody said goodbye and went home. Krystal looked up at the sky, seeing how dark it was.
Krystal stopped everyone else before they walked inside of the castle. "It's getting kinda late. You guys can stay the night and head home tomorrow if you want."
"Really? Are you sure?" Daisy asked.
Krystal nodded, and everyone thanked her. Upon entering, they saw that the maids and other servants were almost finished cleaning up the decorations in the castle. Krystal led everyone upstairs and to the guest rooms, a few maids following them. Once everyone was in their rooms and the maids gave them pajamas, they all got ready for bed. Krystal sighed after changing into her nightgown. She placed her crown onto her nightstand and sat on her bed.
"Everyone had a great time today! I'm so happy." Krystal yawned and got under her blanket.
As she lay in her bed, Krystal stared at the ceiling. She thought back to everything that happened. Meeting Daisy and her friends, Bowser and his family attacking and taking over, getting trapped in her own castle. The crystal buildings and castle collapsing from the negative energy. Krystal rolled over on her side.
She was so happy and grateful that her kingdom is back to normal. It's almost like nothing happened. Krystal smiled and giggled to herself. She was really happy that she got to meet everyone. Krystal then frowned when she realized something.
"They're going home tomorrow..."
Sighing, Krystal closed her eyes and tried to go to sleep. Maybe they all could hang out a little longer before Mario and his friends leave.
Krystal was the first to wake up in the morning. As she sat up in her bed and stretched, Krystal almost forgot what was happening today. Sighing, she got out of bed and sat in front of her mirror. She picked up her hairbrush and began to brush her long, white hair. Krystal stared at her reflection, her mind once again on everything that occurred.
When she was done, Krystal put down her brush and got to her feet. She headed to the restroom to brush her teeth and wash her face. After that, she went back to her room and went to her closet. Krystal took out her white heels and magenta-colored dress and put them on. Then, she put on her white gloves, blue earrings, and crown and walked out of her room.
The door across from Krystal's opened as she left her room. She smiled when she saw Daisy walking out, yawning and stretching her arms.
"Good morning, Daisy!" Krystal greeted her.
Daisy yawned again. "Good morning..."
Krystal chuckled at Daisy's messy hair. "Well, I'm gonna head to the dining hall. You all can join me when you're ready."
Daisy nodded, yawned once again, and made her way to the bathroom. Krystal turned and walked down the hall, heading to the dining hall.
After calling Peach's servants, the others got ready for the day and arrived in the dining hall. As they greeted Krystal and Sterling, they sat down at the table. The chefs entered the room and sat their plates down in front of them. They had waffles, sausage, and eggs. The chefs then sat glasses in front of everyone and poured them some apple juice. Krystal thanked them and the chefs left.
As they ate, Peach spoke up. "We had fun being in the Crystal Kingdom."
Krystal sat her glass down and smiled. "I'm glad you did!" Krystal chuckled. "Even though you still had to deal with the Koopas." As she took a bite of her waffles, Krystal got an idea. "I know! Why don't we watch a movie and play a game before you guys leave?"
Daisy smiled. "Yeah! That sounds fun!"
Once they were finished eating their breakfast, Krystal escorted them to the living room. She looked through her shelves until she spotted a board game.
"This is fun! Let's play this!" Krystal sat the box on the table.
Melody and Dorian then entered the castle and walked into the living room.
"Oh, Prince! You stayed here last night? I went to the castle and you weren't there." Dorian said.
"Yeah, sorry." Sterling scratched his head. "I forgot to ask someone to tell you."
Dorian and Melody walked closer and grinned, seeing the board game on the table.
"You guys are gonna play this? Can Dori and I play too?" Melody asked.
Krystal looked at the two kids and said, "Of course you can!"
Dorian and Melody cheered and sat down. Krystal took the game, the cards, and the game pieces out of the box and set everything up. Then, after Krystal explained the rules of the game, they played.
"Yeah! Woohoo! I won!" Dorian cheered as he jumped up from his seat and his flower bud blossomed. He celebrated his victory by dancing, making the adults chuckle.
Melody playfully rolled her eyes at her friend. "You just got lucky, Dorian!"
Dorian stopped dancing and sat down in his seat. He stuck his tongue out at Melody, making her shake her head and roll her eyes again.
"Well," Krystal started to put the game pieces away, "Why don't we watch a movie now?"
Krystal put the board game away and sat down with everyone. She picked up the remote and turned on the tv, flipping through the different channels. Finally, she found a comedy movie for everyone to watch. She turned the volume up and they watched the movie. As the movie went on, Krystal began to zone out. She sat there in between Sterling and Daisy, her mind not on the film.
"Well, this is it," Krystal thought. "Once this movie ends, Daisy and the others will be heading back to the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland."
Krystal snapped out of it as she heard the others laughing. She looked at the screen, seeing that she missed the main character's funny joke. Krystal slightly frowned. It was one of her favorite scenes from the movie too, and she missed it.
Krystal shook her head and tried to focus on the movie. She really did try, but her mind still went to having to say goodbye to the Bros. and princesses.
"Hey." She heard Daisy whisper. "You alright?"
Krystal smiled at her. "Yeah, I'm fine."
The movie ended an hour later. Mario glanced up at the clock as he yawned.
"I guess we should head back home now." He said.
Krystal nodded, trying to keep a smile on her face. She turned off the tv and led everyone to the front doors of the castle. She pushed the doors open and everyone walked outside. Mario and his friends turned around to look at everyone, ready to say goodbye. But then, they saw the sad expression on Krystal's face.
"Krystal, what's the matter?" Daisy asked her.
"I..." Krystal stared at the ground. "I know that I've only own you guys for a very short time, but... I'm gonna miss you all."
Mario and Luigi frowned, seeing Krystal so sad now. Krystal gasped when she felt someone pull her into a tight hug. She looked up at them and realized who it was.
"We're gonna miss you too." Daisy said.
Krystal hugged her back, holding back tears. After a few seconds, Daisy and Krystal pulled away from each other.
"We can visit again one day." Peach smiled at Krystal. "Maybe you can visit the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland too!"
"She's right!" Daisy added, "And we can play sports too!" Daisy smirked at her. "Maybe you and I can be on the same soccer team. We can take the other team down with our crystal powers!"
Krystal laughed at her comment and smiled. "I'd love that."
"I'll definitely try to visit the Mushroom Kingdom too!" Sterling said.
"Great! I'll show you all around the kingdom and introduce you to more of my friends!" Peach replied.
Everyone then said goodbye and Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy walked away from the crystal castle. Peach looked around at the buildings and crystals as they walked through the kingdom. They made it to Geode City and saw Peach's pink and white blimp up ahead. After a minute, they finally made it and boarded the blimp. Once they took their seats, the blimp slowly went into the air.
Peach looked out of the window and watched as they flew away from the Crystal Kingdom. "It's nice visiting other kingdoms."
"Yeah, it is." Mario looked out of the window also. "We should visit more in the future!"
Luigi looked at the others and asked, "Which ones should we visit?"
"Hmm," Peach thought for a minute. "The Floral Kingdom would be great to see. I enjoyed talking with King Malachite and Queen Flora." Peach giggled. "Princess Esmeralda seems very sweet too!"
"Oh, that'd be so nice!" Daisy replied, imagining all of the beautiful flowers and plants. "We could also visit Serene Isles. I heard that they're currently working on a new water park!"
"The Frosty Kingdom sounds like an interesting place." Luigi chimed in.
"Yeah!" Mario added, "The Cloud Empire would be interesting to see too! Even Fashion Land!" He looked back out of the window and smiled to himself. "Whatever kingdom we decided to visit next, I know that we'll have a great time together."
The four friends continued to talk excitedly about their future plans as they headed to Sarasaland and the Mushroom Kingdom.
And that's it! Like I said before, I've done so much more research on crystals and writing, trying my hardest to improve. If this story sucks and/or my writing hasn't improved a little bit, I'm gonna cry lol. My plan was to attempt to write around 60k+ words, but that didn't happen lol. But I'm happy that I finally made a story that has 30 chapters. I'm gonna go back through each chapter tomorrow and fix any typos that I missed.
As I was writing this, I thought of a story idea about Iggy and Tiana that I'll try to write tomorrow :)
Also, the next fanfic that I'll rewrite will be about my FC Jasmine meeting Mario and Luigi. It'll take me awhile to outline it and write the first draft, but hopefully I'll be able to post it sometime this year!
I hope you all have a great day today!
