Roy's Secret

Another one of my old stories.

Tiandria was sitting with Roy on the couch. Everyone in the castle left the two there all alone. They didn't say anything to eachother.

All week Tia noticed something different about Roy. Everytime she comes to the castle, he always teases her, makes comments about her, or throws things at her. But all week, he hasn't done anything. She looked over at Roy. He was staring at the floor. Tia got up and walked over to him.

"Roy? Are you alright?" She asked. Roy sat up and looked at her.

"Yeah. Why?" Roy asked. "It's just that, you've been acting… different… all week." Tia said. Roy was silent.

"If something's wrong, you can tell me." Roy stared at Tia.

"I… can't tell you." Roy said. "Why not?" Tia asked. Roy sighed.

"If I tell you, don't tell anyone else. Alright?" Tia nodded. Roy got up and walked over to Tia. Then, Roy pulled Tia close to him and kissed her. Tia was shocked. Tiandria blinked and stared at Roy.

"Roy… Why did you kiss me?" She asked.

"I… I love you." Roy said. "You love me?" Tia asked. Roy nodded.

"That's why I always tease you. I wanted you to be my girlfriend." Tia smiled.

"Roy… I… I'm sorry. I can't be your girlfriend. I'm in love with someone else." She said. They were silent for awhile.

"It's Iggy isn't it?" Roy asked. Tia stared at him. "Yes." Tia replied. Roy stared at the ground. Tia grabbed his arm.

"I can't be your girlfriend but.. I'd like to be your friend." Tia said. Roy looked at her and smiled.

"Ok." He said. She hugged him.

A few minutes later, everyone came back to castle.

"What did you guys do while we were gone?" Wendy asked Tia. Roy stared at Tia.

"Nothing. We just sat here doing nothing." Tia lied. When Wendy walked away, Tia walked over to Roy.

"I'll never tell them your secret." She whispered.
