Rosalina's Gift

Yes, this is a Luigi x Rosalina story. Yes, I ship it. BUT I also ship Luigi x Daisy.

This is the first Mario fanfic I made that doesn't have any OCs in it and I'm happy :D I wanna make more. I really need to be active here more. I miss this place :( Anyways, I hope you like the story!

It's finally December and everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom were getting ready for Christmas. Peach was going to throw a party at her castle. Luigi, the green-clad plumber and younger brother of Mario was walking through the snow. He was heading to Coconut Mall to buy a gift for Rosalina. He went inside and looked around.

Luigi liked Daisy, but when he confessed to her, she rejected him. After he met Rosalina and they became friends, he started to have feelings for her. Luigi looked around one of the shops, but he couldn't find anything. He decided to go to another one.

"I wonder what I should get Rosalina." Luigi said as he walked into his home. He left the mall since he couldn't find anything. He sighed and sat down. He looked up when he heard Mario walk into the room.

"Hey bro." Mario greeted. He sat down next to Luigi.

"Did you find a gift for Rosalina?" Mario asked.

"Not yet." Luigi sighed.

"Don't worry. You'll find something." Mario replied.

The next day, Luigi went back to Coconut Mall to find something. He walked around the mall, but he couldn't find anything. He sat down to take a break. A few minutes later Luigi looked around again. He decided to go to the jewelry store. He looked at some rings. Then he looked at the necklaces. Luigi looked over at one and smiled.

"This is perfect!"

It was finally Christmas and everyone was getting ready to go to Peach's castle. Luigi told Mario to go without him. Luigi grabbed the gift for Rosalina and headed to the Comet Observatory.

When he got there, he saw a group of Lumas with Rosalina. One of the Lumas noticed him. Rosalina looked to him and smiled.

"Hi Luigi." She greeted.

"H-hi." Luigi said shyly.

"What are you doing here? Weren't you going to Peach's party?" She asked.

"Yes. But,I um… I… uh.." Luigi said, starting to blush.

"What is it?" Rosalina asked.

"I… um..have a gift for you. I wanted to give it to you now." Luigi said, showing her the gift. Rosalina smiled, her face turning pink.

"Thank you." Rosalina began to unwrap it. She opened the box and gasped. It was a necklace with a turquoise pendant.

"It's beautiful. I love it! Thank you Luigi." Rosalina put the necklace on and smiled. She kissed Luigi's cheek, making him blush again.

"A-are you ready to go to the party?" Luigi asked.

"Yes." Rosalina said. Luigi smiled.

"Ok. Let's go." Luigi took her hand and the two left the Coment Observatory.
