Loving Someone New 2

Hey you guys! I had this idea for two weeks now and since I made the first one with Lemmy x Yasmine, I thought I'd make one about Morton x Stacey. Now I've never really used Morton except maybe having a line or two, so I hope he won't be OOC. Anyways, I hope you all will enjoy this story.

Stacey sat in Bowser's Castle looking across the room at Roy. He was with his new girlfriend Kacey laughing and talking, which annoyed Stacey. She and Roy used to date, but grew apart and they decided to break up. Stacey wanted to get back together with him, but learned that Roy and Kacey were dating. She tried to steal Roy from Kacey a few times and even kissed him in front of her. Stacey finally gave up when the couple didn't break up.

Stacey looked away from them and sighed. Part of her didn't want to be there, but she was friends with the other Koopalings and they wanted to hang out with her. She felt someone tap her on her arm. Stacey looked up and saw Morton.

"Are you ok Stacey?" He asked.

"Oh I'm alright Morton." Stacey smiled.

"She's thinking about Roy again…" Morton thought.

"Ok then." Morton dropped the subject and sat next to her.

"We're going to the beach tomorrow. You wanna come with us?" He asked.

"I'd love to!" Stacey said.

The next day came and everyone was at the beach. They were having a great time. Lemmy and Yasmine were playing with a beach ball, Iggy and Tiana were drawing in the sand, Ludwig and Jasmine were relaxing, and Roy and Kacey were swimming with the others. Stacey decided to sit on the beach. She glanced over at Roy and Kacey. She looked at the ground.

"It really is over between us." Stacey sighed.

"Stacey?" She heard a voice say. Stacey looked up and saw Morton.

"Oh hi Morton." Stacey greeted.

"Are you alright?" He asked as he sat down next to her.

"I'm fine. Don't worry." Stacey smiled at him. Morton sighed.

"You're thinking about Roy again aren't you?" He asked. Stacey looked away from him.

"Yeah… I'm trying to get over him, but it's hard." Stacey sighed. Morton thought for a moment.

"Stacey, would you like to go on a date with me next week?" He asked. Stacey stared at him.

"W-What?" She said.

"We could have some fun! And it might take your mind off of my brother." Morton replied. Stacey didn't say anything. Then she smiled.

"Alright Morton. I'll go on a date with you." She said.

"Great! Where would you like to go?" He asked.

"Hmm. Well, there's a carnival coming to the Mushroom Kingdom. We can go there." Stacey said.

"Ok then!" The two then talked about how much fun they would have.

It was Friday and the carnival finally arrived. Morton headed to Stacey's home. He finally made it and knocked on the door. Soon Stacey opened it.

"Hi Morton." Stacey greeted.

"Hi Stacey. I got this for you." Morton said. He reached inside of his shell and pulled out a fire flower. Morton put the flower in Stacey's hair.

"Wow thank you Morton." Stacey said, her face turning pink.

"Ready to go?" He asked.

"Yep!" Stacey locked her door and followed Morton.

They made it to the carnival and looked around.

"What do you wanna do first?" Morton asked. Stacey looked around again until she saw a dunk tank.

"Let's play that!" Stacey said as she pointed to the game.

"Alright!" Morton followed her to the game. They saw a Toad sitting on the seat above the water. Stacey grabbed a ball and threw it at the target. The ball hit the target, but the Toad didn't fall.

"Aw man." Stacey said.

"I'll try it." Morton said and picked up a ball. He threw the ball as hard as he could. It hit the target, making the Toad fall into the tank of water.

"Yes!" Morton cheered.

"You did it!" Stacey said. They saw another Toad walking up to them. He handed Morton a Yoshi toy for winning the game.

"You can have it Stacey." Morton said and handed it to her.

"Thanks Morton." Stacey said and hugged the toy.

"Let's go on a ride next." Morton said. The two decided to go on a roller coaster. They got on and waited for the ride to start.

"I love roller coasters!" Stacey said as they got off of the ride.

"Me too!" Morton replied.

"I'm kinda hungry. Let's get something to eat." Stacey said. Morton nodded and followed her.

The two got their food and sat at a table. Morton had a corn dog while Stacey had a caramel apple.

"Wanna play some more games after we eat?" Morton asked.

"Sure! And maybe get on a ride that's not too crazy like a roller coaster." Stacey replied. The two talked while they ate. Soon they finished and they played a few more games. They won and lost at some but they had fun. It was starting to get late and they decided to get on one more ride.

"What's another ride we didn't go on yet?" Morton asked. Stacey looked around. Her face turned red as she looked at a ride nearby. Stacey tapped Morton and pointed at the tunnel of love.

"We didn't go on that one." Stacey said. Morton's face turned red.

"We don't have to go on that ride if you-" Stacey grabbed his hand.

"It's ok. It might be fun." Stacey said. They then headed to the ride.

"This is actually pretty nice." Stacey said as they were on the boat.

"Thank you for taking me here Morton." Stacey said. She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, making him blush.

"Hehe. I'm glad you're having fun." Morton replied.

"Y'know, I think I'm finally over Roy." Stacey said.

"Really?" Morton asked. Stacey nodded.

"I didn't think about him that much but when I did, I wasn't sad or angry." Stacey said.

"Well that's great." Morton said. The two were silent.

"Maybe I should tell her." Morton thought.

"Hey Stacey. Can I tell you something?" Morton asked.

"Of course!" Stacey replied.

"I actually… had a crush on you before." Morton said, making them both blush.

"Oh really?" Stacey asked.

"Yes. But you were with Roy so I didn't say anything." Morton said. They were silent again. Then Stacey spoke.

"Do you still feel that way?" She asked. Morton looked at the water.

"… Yeah." He finally said. They were silent once again. Stacey then turned to him.

"Well, I do like you Morton. You're really sweet." Stacey said, making him blush again.

"Would you like to go on another date one day?" Stacey asked.

"You want to?" Morton asked.

"Yeah. This one was super fun! And maybe after another one we'll see what happens." Stacey said.

"Well alright!" Morton said.

"I had so much fun!" Stacey said. They left the carnival and were heading back to Stacey's house.

"Me too. What do you wanna do on our next date?" Morton asked.

"Maybe we can go somewhere and have a picnic. I could bake a cake for you too!" Stacey said.

"That sounds great!" Morton replied. Soon they were at Stacey's home.

"Thank you again Morton. I had fun." Stacey said. Before she opened her door, she walked over to Morton and kissed him. She then opened the door and said goodbye to her friend. Morton waved back at her and headed home.

I don't know if this was good. I did forget to describe what Stacey looked like just like I forgot in the first story with Yasmine ^^; I'll work on my other stories very soon!
