Who is Jasmine?

Hi! I'm still babysitting my nephew, but I have some time to post this new story! I've scrapped the old version I was planning out, so hopefully this version will be good. Also, today is my birthday!

Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings groaned as they flew in their airships. Mario, Luigi, and that girl, Jasmine, defeated their father not too long ago, so they were heading home. It's been a few hours since they had to fight, but they were still in pain. Eventually, the kids arrived in the Koopa Kingdom and landed their airships. Once they walked out of their airships, they made their way inside the castle.

Larry rubbed his arm. "I can't believe we lost again!"

As he rubbed his head, Morton said, "I can…"

"Maybe we'll win next time!" Bowser Jr. replied.

Wendy snorted. "I doubt it."

The kids walked through the halls until they arrived at the game room. They walked inside. Some flopped down onto the couch while the others lay on the floor. As he sat on the floor, Junior looked up at the ceiling.

"I wonder where Jasmine even came from. What was she even doing with those plumbers, besides helping them?"

"I was wondering the same thing." Lemmy replied as he rubbed his head.

Roy smirked. "She was pretty cute."

Wendy rolled her eyes at her older brother. "I doubt Jasmine would be interested in you, Roy."

"Hm." Morton stared at the floor. "Is she from the Mushroom Kingdom?"

Iggy scratched his head. "Eh, I don't remember seeing her there during our past invasions."

Wendy then said, "Maybe she's from a different kingdom and she was just visiting the Mushroom Kingdom."

Larry walked over to the Nintendo Switch. "She could also be from the real world."

"Oh! That's possible!" Lemmy responded.

As he stared at the floor, Ludwig spoke up. "I've seen Jasmine before."

"Really? Where?" Iggy asked.

Ludwig shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not sure, but Jasmine looks like someone I've met before, but a little older."

"Have you met a girl like Jasmine in school?" Wendy asked.

Ludwig shook his head. "A human going to a school in the Koopa Kingdom would've stuck out a lot."

"Hahaha! Oh yeah, that's true!" Wendy laughed. "Especially since there's not that many humans here."

Just then, Ludwig's phone rang. Pulling it out of his shell, Ludwig saw that their mother was calling. He answered the call and put it on speaker. "Hello."

"Hi, sweetie!" Clawdia answered. "Are you guys back at the castle?"

"Yes." Ludwig sighed. "We actually just got back."

"Ok." Clawdia replied. "So that means Princess Peach is long gone by now." Clawdia continued, "Since Peach isn't there, I'll be leaving the Magma Kingdom in a few minutes."

Overhearing that last part, Junior smiled. "Oh! Mama! Can we play a game together when you get home?"

Clawdia giggled. "Of course, Junior! Well, I'll see you kids soon. Bye!"

She and Ludwig then hung up.

That's it for now!

Thinking of Her

Finally back with chapter 2!

Clawdia and Bowser Jr. were in his room playing a board game. After rolling the dice, Junior moved his piece and cheered.

"Alright! I won!"

Clawdia smiled at her youngest son. "I'm glad that you had fun."

Bowser Jr. and his mother began putting the game pieces and the board game back into the box. As Junior walked over to his shelf, he turned his head to look at his mother.

"Oh! Guess what, Mama. While we were on the kidnapping mission, there was a girl helping Mario and Luigi." He then placed the board game back on the shelf.

"Oh? Who was she?" Clawdia asked once Junior sat next to her.

"Well, her name is Jasmine." Junior explained. "She wears glasses, but they're not as thick as Iggy's." He chuckled. "She also has brown skin and long black hair. We've never seen her before." Junior looked up at at Clawdia. "I'm still mad that Jasmine and the plumbers beat me and she called me cute, but she seemed kinda cool."

Chuckling, Clawdia remarked, "Jasmine sounds interesting." She added, "Maybe you'll meet Jasmine again one day."

Ludwig smiled to himself as he sat in the ballroom, playing a song on his piano. It was an older song that he wrote, but it was also one that he loved to play a lot. As he played, his mind went back to Jasmine. Who is she exactly? Shaking his head, he continued to play the song.

Two minutes later though, he stopped playing the piano and continued thinking about Jasmine. As he pictured her face, his heart fluttered. It made him scratch his head.

Ludwig whispered to himself, "I… I want to see her again." He then added, "I don't even know why I want to. She seems a little annoying, but… I do find her intriguing." Ludwig sighed. "Will I ever see Jasmine again?"

I'm so sorry this chapter is so short ^^; hopefully the next one will be a little longer

New Invasion Plan

Hi! I'm back with a new chapter!

A few weeks later in the Mushroom Kingdom, the Mario Bros., Princess Peach, and Princess Daisy were walking out of Peach's castle. With them were Jasmine and her parents, David and Kiara, and her little cousin, Alvin. She and her family were spending time in the Mushroom Kingdom today, but now, an hour later, it was time for them to head back home.

Jasmine sighed happily. "The kingdom looks amazing each time I visit!"

"I still can't believe that this world is real!" Kiara exclaimed.

"Me neither." David replied as he adjusted his glasses.

Giggling, Alvin said, "I wish you found the pipe sooner, Jazzy!"

Peach smiled at them. "It was nice hanging out with all of you."

"Yeah!" Jasmine said. "I can't wait to visit again tomorrow!"

After saying goodbye to their new friends, Jasmine and her family walked away from the castle and made their way toward the Warp Pipe that took them back to New York. Jasmine smiled to herself as they walked through Toad Town. Several Toads and a few humans were out today. Everyone was in a good mood today. The citizens were laughing and talking with each other, and it made Jasmine feel good to see that.

Then, Jasmine softly gasped when she saw a human woman walking out of a shop. The woman was holding a little boy's hand. The boy really caught her attention. He appeared human like the woman. But, this boy had two horns on his head. They kinda resembled… Koopa horns.

"Does that boy have horns like Bowser?" Alvin whispered.

"Looks like it." Jasmine replied.

After leaving Toad Town, the family eventually reached the green Warp Pipe.

The following day, Kamek soared through the halls of the castle on his broomstick. He made his way upstairs of the west wing, where the royal family's bedrooms were. Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings were currently inside their rooms, so the king's advisor called out to them.

"Your Highneses, Lord Bowser needs you all in the Great Hall right away!"

The Magikoopa then teleported out of the corridor. The kids groaned as they opened their bedroom doors and stepped into the hall.

"Let me guess, Dad wants to attack the Mushroom Kingdom?" Larry said as they walked down the hall.

Roy responded, "I doubt it's a different kingdom or something fun."

The kids eventually arrive in the Great Hall and see Bowser and Kamek waiting for them. Once everyone took their seats at the table, Bowser spoke.

"Alright, kids! Today, we're gonna invade the Mushroom Kingdom again!"

Some of the kids sighed while the others groaned.

Bowser grinned and remarked, "And this time, instead of the princess, we'll be kidnapping Mario!"

The kids looked at their father in shock. "Wait. You don't wanna kidnap Peach?" Wendy asked him.

Bowser shook his head. "I wanna try something different. Plus, it's been some time since I've captured the plumbers. So, maybe kidnapping Mario will help me get the Mushroom Kingdom this time around." Bowser looked at the kids. "And I want you kids to go and kidnap Mario."

The kids sighed, but agreed to it.

Jasmine smiled as she left her house an hour later. Today, she was going back to the Mushroom Kingdom to hang out with Mario and the others. They were going to have so much fun! She couldn't wait! A few minutes later, she arrived at the park and made sure no one was around to see her. Once she saw that nobody was nearby, she walked inside of the cave.

After jumping down the pipe, Jasmine was back in the Mushroom World. She smiled after letting out a breath. This place was so beautiful! Seriously! Being here in person was so much better than looking at it in the video games!

Jasmine walked past the tall mushrooms and came to a path. The left path led to Mushroom Village, while the right led to Toad Town.

"Hmm. I haven't looked around Mushroom Village while being here before."

Jasmine took the left path, entering Mushroom Village. She waved to a few Toads who were sitting outside of their homes. Then, someone caught her attention. A little girl was playing outside of her home. This girl had horns like the boy Jasmine and her family saw yesterday, but she also had a tail. A Koopa tail.

"Huh. She looks similar to that boy we saw yesterday. Well, except she has a tail." Jasmine thought to herself. "I wonder what's the deal with them?"

After walking through Mushroom Village, Jasmine entered Toad Town. A few Toads outside greeted her. She looked to her right and saw Mario and Luigi talking to another Toad. When that Toad walked away, the brothers turned and smiled when they saw her. They walked over to her.

"Hey, Jasmine!" The two greeted her.

Luigi then said, "Daisy just arrived. She's at Peach's castle."

"Great!" Jasmine replied. "I can't wait to see them!"

After that, Mario and Luigi led Jasmine to the castle.

That's it for now!

Wrong Captive

Here's chapter 4!

The princesses smiled when they saw Jasmine enter the castle with the Bros. Daisy rushed over and hugged Jasmine tightly.

"I know we saw each other yesterday, but it's still get to see you!" Daisy said.

Jasmine smiled. "I'm happy to be back in the Mushroom World."

Once the two let go, Peach guided everyone to the living room. They all took a seat.

"Hey, I know!" Daisy exclaimed. "We should all watch a movie together!"

"Yeah! That sounds fun!" Jasmine replied, a smile on her face.

Peach picked up the remote and turned on the TV. A few seconds later, she found a comedy movie for everyone to watch. As the movie started though, they all froze when they heard a loud explosion outside. Mario and Luigi stood and walked over to the window. The brothers groaned. Outside flying overhead was Bowser's airship.

Peach turned off the movie and the group ran outside. When they looked up at the airship, they saw the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. standing on it and laughing.

Mario stood in front of Peach, still looking up at the Koopa children. "Go home, you guys! You're not kidnapping the Princess today!"

The kids laughed even harder.

Bowser Jr. calmed down and stated, "We aren't here for Princess Peach today!"

Mario blinked. "You're not?"

Smirking, Larry replied, "Nope! We're here for you, Mario!"

Mario and the others gasped. Ludwig smirked as he pulled out his wand. He aimed it at the red-clad plumber. As the magic activated, Mario stared at the Koopaling. He heard someone running toward him, but he didn't take his eyes off of the wand. If only he had a power-up with him!

Before Mario could do anything, he felt someone shove him out of the way. He fell to the ground. Who pushed him just now? He looked up when he heard the Koopas and the other person gasp. Instead of himself, Jasmine was hit by Ludwig's magic.

Jasmine's feet lifted off of the ground slightly. As that happened, Larry looked at his siblings.

"What should we do now?"

Roy remarked, "Dad'll be mad, but hey. We can use her as bait."

Morton nodded and added, "Yeah. Why chase Mario when he'll come to us?"

Smiling, Junior replied, "Peach will have to hand her kingdom over to Dad now!"

"Jasmine!" Mario called out as she was levitated even higher.

Once she was closer, Ludwig stopped the spell, making Jasmine fall into his arms. She glared at him when they looked at each other. After that, the airship began to fly away.

The kids returned to the Koopa Kingdom and walked inside the castle. They made their way to the throne room, where their father was sitting on his throne. When he looked at them, Bowser's eyes widened, seeing the girl in Ludwig's arms. Then, he frowned.

"That's not Mario."

Larry took a step forward. "We know. She pushed Mario out of the way before Ludwig could capture him." He looked at Bowser. "We were thinking, maybe we could use her as bait."

Bowser closed his eyes and thought it over. A moment later, he opened his eyes and grinned.

"That's a great idea!"

A few of the kids high-fived each other.

Jasmine attempted to break free from Ludwig's grip. "You guys won't get away with this!"

The Koopas ignored her. Ludwig exited the throne room and made his way to the dungeon, still carrying Jasmine. Once inside, he stood in front of the first cell and grabbed the keys. After unlocking the door, Ludwig threw Jasmine inside. He swiftly closed and locked the door before Jasmine could get a chance to escape.

As he placed the keys back on the hook, Ludwig glanced out of the corner of his eye. He saw Jasmine pouting, just like she did when he first kidnapped her. And also like that time, his heart skipped a beat. He looked at Jasmine, wanting to say something. He shook his head, changing his mind.

Once Ludwig left the dungeon, Jasmine sighed.

"I wish I had a hairpin this time." She sat on the floor. "Hopefully the others will come save me soon."

I'll try to work on the next chapter next week!

Let's Hang Out

Hi! Here's a new chapter!

The kids were back in the game room resting. Larry was currently playing a video game, mashing buttons on his controller.

"Well, at least we don't have to fight this time." He said.

Iggy nodded. "I definitely wasn't looking forward to getting beat up today."

As his siblings talked, Ludwig began to zone out. His mind was once again on Jasmine. What was the deal with her? Why did she seem so familiar?

Noticing this, Wendy gently shook him. Ludwig snapped out of it and looked at his only sister.

"Huh? Wendy, did you need something?" Ludwig asked her.

"You were zoning out, Ludwig." She replied.

Ludwig's cheeks slightly turned pink. "Oh…"

Wendy looked at her oldest brother. "What's on your mind?"

"Nothing important." He replied.

"Shoot!" Larry exclaimed after losing a life in the game.

Morton put his phone away and remarked, "Y'know, I am pretty curious about that Jasmine girl."

A few of the kids nodded in agreement, especially Ludwig.

Larry began to play the next level of his game. As he killed an enemy, he thought to himself. Jasmine really was interesting. What was she like? Where was she from? Honestly… he wanted to know more.

After pausing his game, Larry turned to face his siblings. "Hey! Why don't we bring her in here and hang out with her?"

Ludwig looked at him. "Should we really do that?"

Wendy added, "Yeah. What if she tries to escape?"

"There's more of us than her," Larry answered. "so if she tries anything, we can capture her again."

Larry got to his feet and made his way out of the game room.

Jasmine sighed as she poked one of the cell bars. Just then, the door to the dungeon opened, making Jasmine look up.

She smiled to herself. "Finally! Mario and the others made it!"

Unfortunately, Jasmine's smile fell when the person walked and stood in front of her cell. Instead of her friends, on the other side of the bars stood Larry Koopa.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

The Koopaling grabbed the keys to the cell. "I want you to hang out with us in the game room."

Jasmine blinked. "Seriously?"

Larry smiled. "Yeah! I mean, you're gonna be here for a while." Then he added, "But, if you try to escape, just know that we'll catch you and lock you in the dungeon again."

Jasmine hesitated as she looked at him.

Larry chuckled and said, "C'mon! We won't hurt you as long as you don't try anything!"

Jasmine fixed her gaze on the youngest Koopaling. He's really serious about this. How bored is he? But… Jasmine was bored also. What else could she do while in this dark castle?

After a moment, Jasmine nodded. Larry unlocked the cell door and Jasmine slowly stood up. She hesitated again before walking out of the cell.

"Follow me." Larry said and turned to face the dungeon door.

"Ok."

The two walked out of the dungeon and down the hallway. Jasmine looked at the walls. They were filled with many paintings. Most of them were of Bowser, but others were past royalty of the Koopa Kingdom. One painting stuck out to Jasmine. It was of a Koopa with muted purple-gray skin, two sharp fang-like teeth in the upper corners of his mouth, amber-colored hair, and big horns.

The Koopa also wore black spiked bands on his arms and wrists. The name under the painting said "King Obsidian".

"Huh. He seems pretty interesting." Jasmine thought.

"Hey!" Larry called out, snapping Jasmine out of her thoughts. "Keep up!"

Jasmine looked away from the painting and ran up to Larry.

Eventually, the two arrived at the game room and walked inside. The others looked up when they heard them, and their eyes landed on the human girl. Jasmine blushed a little as all eyes were on her.

A second later, Wendy gasped. "She actually came?"

Larry smirked. "I was able to convince her."

Jasmine also smirked and rolled her eyes.

Larry looked at Jasmine. "You can sit anywhere you like!"

"Alright."

Jasmine walked over to the couch and sat next to Ludwig. The oldest Koopaling glanced at her for a second before looking away.

I'll work on the next chapter soon!

Mario Kart World

Hey guys! I didn't feel like writing this week, but I'm finally back with a new chapter! Sadly, this one is pretty short. But I still hope you all enjoy it :)

Jasmine looked around at all of the kids. Larry was now playing on the Nintendo Switch 2, Iggy and Lemmy were playing a board game, and Roy and Morton were arm wrestling. She turned and saw Wendy looking at her phone and Ludwig writing on a piece of paper. Out of curiosity, Jasmine leaned over to get a better look. Seeing a few music notes, it looked like he was writing a song.

"What kind of song are you writing?" She asked him.

Ludwig, still writing, answered, "Something positive."

"Hm."

Jasmine looked away a second later and watched Larry, who was now playing Mario Kart World. The youngest Koopaling threw a shell at his opponent and crossed the finish line in first place.

"Yeah!" Larry cheered.

Wendy looked at her younger brother. "Are you playing online again?"

Larry grinned. "Of course! I'm the best at this game!"

Chuckling, Jasmine asked, "Have you ever lost?" Once Larry shook his head, Jasmine smirked. "Hmm. Hand me a controller. I wanna see if I can beat you."

Larry also smirked and returned to the main menu. After adding in a second controller, he handed it to Jasmine and went to the Grand Prix. Once they picked their characters and karts, the game started. With the exception of Ludwig, the rest of Larry's siblings watched as the two raced. A minute later, Ludwig took his eyes off of his sheet music and looked at the TV.

Ludwig saw Jasmine throw a green shell, hitting Larry.

"Shoot!" Larry exclaimed, ending up in third place.

The others watched on in amazement as Jasmine made it to first place.

"She's pretty good." Ludwig thought.

Larry threw more shells. He was now in first place while Jasmine was in fifth, a few of his siblings cheering him on. Jasmine grabbed an item block and threw three red shells. One of the shells hit Larry. Jasmine drove past him and was back in first place. She was getting closer to the finish line but a CPU threw a shell at her.

Larry passed Jasmine, winning the game. Jasmine gasped as Larry celebrated.

"You were so close, Jasmine!" Lemmy said.

Once he finished cheering, Larry chuckled and looked at Jasmine. "You're pretty good."

Jasmine smirked. "Thanks."

"Too bad he cheats most of the time." Morton remarked.

Jasmine approached Larry and knelt down next to him. Smiling, she told him, "I had fun!"

Larry smiled widely. "Can we play again?"

"Sure!"

I'll work on the next chapter soon!

A Beautiful Melody

Finally had time to write!

After fighting a Hammer Bro. in the Mushroom Kingdom, the Mario Bros. and the princesses made their way to Desert World.

"We need to hurry and get to Bowser!" Mario exclaimed.

Luigi nodded in agreement. Peach then frowned a little.

"I feel so bad for Jasmine."

Daisy walked over and patted her best friend on the shoulder. "Don't worry, Peach. Jasmine is going to be ok."

Back at Bowser's castle, Larry and Jasmine were now playing Mario Tennis Aces.

"I'm great at tennis." Larry said. "Whether it's a video game or the real thing!"

Jasmine chuckled. "Well, you're gonna lose this time!"

The others watched as Larry and Jasmine hit the ball back and forth to each other. Then, pretty soon, Larry gasped, missing the ball.

"Alright!" Jasmine cheered. "I won!"

"Finally!" Morton chuckled. "Someone actually beat Larry at his favorite game!"

Larry pouted. "Jasmine just got lucky."

Jasmine giggled and replied, "You're just upset that you lost!"

She turned around and glanced at the others. Then, Jasmine raised an eyebrow, noticing one Koopa missing.

"Hey. Where did Ludwig go?" She asked.

Morton said, "He probably went to the ballroom to play on his piano."

"Oh." Jasmine then placed her controller on the floor. When she stood back up, she asked, "Can I go to the ballroom to see Ludwig play?"

Roy arched an eyebrow. "Ya wanna hear Ludwig play? Why?"

Jasmine shrugged. "I guess I'm just curious."

A moment later, Roy said, "Eh. I guess I'll take ya to him."

Smiling, Jasmine followed Roy out of the game room.

Jasmine looked around as she followed Roy down a hallway. There were a few photos of Bowser and his family. Some were of Bowser while others were family portraits. Jasmine looked at one next to a photo of Bowser. This one was a photo of different Koopas. Ones that she didn't recognize.

The female Koopa in the photo had the same red hair as Bowser, but pulled back in a ponytail. She also wore glasses. The male Koopa standing next to her had long green locs also pulled back in a ponytail. Surrounding them were eight Koopa children with many different and unique hairstyles. Were they important or something?

"Hey, Roy? Who are these guys?"

Roy came to a halt and turned his head to look at her. He walked over to Jasmine and smirked at the photo.

"You like them? That's our aunt Clawdeen, our uncle Langston, and all of our cousins."

Jasmine gasped. "Wow! I thought Bowser was an only child!"

Roy chuckled. "Nah. My aunt's his younger sister. She's a year younger than him. And our cousins are pretty much a year younger than each of us."

Jasmine blinked. "Really?"

Roy nodded and pointed to a boy with a green Mohawk. "Ludwig was born first, then a year later, Lemmy and Austin were born. After that, Morton and I hatched and a year later, Alex and Theodore did." Roy chuckled again. "And so on."

"Well, they all look very interesting." Jasmine looked at the burly Koopaling. "Do they live in the Koopa Kingdom?"

Roy shook his head. "Used to. My aunt took over a nearby kingdom and they rule over it."

"Really?" Jasmine asked. "What kingdom?"

"The Magma Kingdom." Roy answered. "It looks pretty similar to this one."

Jasmine laughed. "Well, I bet it looks great."

Roy nodded and turned. "Well, c'mon. Ya still wanna see Ludwig, right?"

"Yes!" Jasmine said and followed Roy again.

When they turned down another hallway, the two heard the sound of a beautiful melody being played on a piano. Roy eventually stood in front of two large doors and pushed them open. Across the room, they saw Ludwig sitting in front of his piano with his eyes closed, playing a song.

"Wow!" Jasmine whispered. "This isn't my favorite kind of music, but it sounds beautiful!"

"I don't wanna listen to this crap." Roy turned around. "I'm heading back to the game room."

When Roy left, Jasmine slowly walked into the ballroom and over to the oldest Koopaling. She looked around, admiring the ballroom's appearance. It was huge! While most areas of the castle that she's seen was dark with a little bit of color, this ballroom had cream colored walls and gold curtains. And the large, ivory marble on the floor was polished to a silk-smooth sheen.

Jasmine approached Ludwig as he continued playing. His eyes were still closed, so he didn't notice her in the room. A minute later, Ludwig's song ended.

Ludwig jumped slightly and opened his eyes when he heard a familiar voice say, "I really liked your music!"

"Thank you." Ludwig cocked his head. "Um, what are you doing here?"

"I got curious when I realized that you left." Jasmine explained.

"Oh. I wanted to play a few of my songs." Ludwig replied.

Then, Jasmine asked him, "Can I listen to more?"

Ludwig blinked. "You want to?"

"Yeah!" Jasmine exclaimed. "I mean, it's not my favorite kind of music, but it was beautiful."

Ludwig nodded. "Sure."

Ludwig scooted over to make room for Jasmine to sit next to him on the piano bench. When she sat down, Ludwig began to flip through his sheet music again. He quickly found a song to play and smiled.

"This is one of my favorites." He told her.

As the Koopaling began to play, Jasmine smiled as she listened to the melody.

If I got time tomorrow I'll work on chapter 8!

Rescued

Hi! I hope you all like this chapter :)

"Wow! Ludwig's music sounds amazing!" Jasmine thought to herself as she listened to him play.

She then closed her eyes and listened to the melody. While playing the song, Ludwig glanced over at Jasmine.

"She still looks pretty." He thought.

Ludwig gazed at Jasmine for a few more seconds. This girl was pretty, but also very familiar. Seriously! Where has he seen her before? Would he ever figure it out?

When Jasmine opened her eyes, she turned to look at Ludwig. Ludwig quickly looked away, his face growing warm.

"Ugh! Why did I stare for so long? Oh, I hope she isn't creeped out or anything…"

Soon, Ludwig finished playing his song.

Jasmine smiled at Ludwig and said, "That was great!"

"Thank you." Ludwig replied.

For a moment, neither of them spoke. Then, Jasmine began to chuckle.

"What's so funny?" Ludwig asked.

"When we last saw each other," Jasmine replied, "we didn't really like each other that much."

Ludwig then remarked, "Huh. Yeah, you're right."

"Maybe Jasmine isn't as annoying as I thought."

"Being around you and your siblings for a little while made me realize, you all are pretty cool!" Jasmine said, making the oldest Koopaling blush slightly.

Back with the Bros. and princesses, they were now halfway across Jungle World. Luigi stomped on a Wiggler and the group ran away from the now enraged enemy. They go down a pipe and arrive at the tower. After taking a deep breath, the four friends entered the tall tower.

"Ugh. I'm glad we got away from that Wiggler…" Daisy said.

Peach stomped on a Goomba and replied, "At least it didn't harm us."

"Well, let's just hurry and get through Jungle World." Mario said.

Ludwig and Jasmine left the ballroom and returned to the game room with the others. Lemmy and Morton sat on the floor with Larry and were now playing Super Mario Party with him. Lemmy pouted when Larry won the mini game. Morton frowned as he turned to face Larry.

"Why do you always have to cheat?" He asked.

Larry smiled innocently. "I don't know what you're talking about, Morty."

Lemmy shook his head and turned back to the TV. Jasmine chuckled as she took a seat on the couch.

"You guys must be having fun!"

Larry chuckled as he searched for a different game to play. Ludwig sat next to Jasmine and picked up a book. While Ludwig read, Jasmine watched the others as they began to play Smash Bros.

Later on, the Bros. and the princesses fought more Koopa Troopas and Goombas when they noticed an object up ahead.

"What's that?" Peach wondered.

"I'm not sure." Luigi said.

They stomped on more Goombas as they dashed through the area. When they got closer, they realized the object was a Warp Cannon.

"Thank goodness!" Daisy exclaimed.

Mario walked over to the Warp Cannon and pressed a few buttons on it. Once he was finished, Mario smiled.

"Alright! Let's-a go!"

Mario jumped down into the Warp Cannon, the others following behind him. Then, they all screamed as they were shot out of the cannon and into the air, flying to a farther world.

Later in the castle, Jasmine was getting her nails painted by Wendy while Morton played a board game with Lemmy and Junior. Then, everyone looked towards the door when they heard loud footsteps coming from the hallway.

"What's going on?" Jasmine asked.

Lemmy frowned. "Mario and Luigi are definitely here now."

Jasmine frowned also after hearing that.

"What's wrong, Jasmine?" Wendy asked as she put her nail polish away.

Jasmine adjusted her glasses and replied, "I wanted to leave before, but now that I've gotten to know all of you, I don't wanna leave."

Wendy smiled at her. "You can come visit any time you want."

"Right!" Larry said. "We could play video games together again. And MAYBE you'll be able to beat me at Mario Kart next time!"

Jasmine playfully rolled her eyes and replied, "I'd like that."

A few minutes later, they heard Bowser roaring and the sound of people activating power-ups.

"I hope Mario and the others don't get hurt." Jasmine muttered.

Ten minutes later, they heard Bowser screaming in agony and falling to the floor.

Jasmine looked at the Koopa children and said, "Well, I guess that's it." Jasmine stood up and walked over to the door. She turned her head to look at her new friends and said, "Goodbye, everyone!"

Ludwig stared at Jasmine as she walked out of the game room. Once she was out of his sight, Ludwig sighed and looked back at his book again.

Jasmine walked down a hallway and smiled. Mario and the others were farther down.

"Guys!" Jasmine called out.

The others turned to see her and they smiled. They rushed over to Jasmine.

"Thank goodness you're alright!" Luigi said.

Peach smiled and added, "We should hurry back to the Mushroom Kingdom."

Jasmine nodded and followed her friends out of the castle. They quickly made it to the large doors and walked outside. As soon as they stepped out of the castle, the group saw a Koopa woman heading towards the castle. The Koopa was BEAUTIFUL! She had the same golden skin most Koopas had, two horns on her head, two spikes on her tail, red eyes, long pink hair, and a magenta shell with purple rings surrounding the spikes. She also wore pink heels with bows on them, gold bracelets on her wrists, pink lipstick, and a gold crown with two blue jewels along with a pink heart-shaped jewel on it and a pink cloth on the top.

The Koopa glared at Peach as she walked by and entered the castle.

"Who was that?" Jasmine wondered.

Sighing, Peach replied, "That was Clawdia Koopa, Bowser's wife."

Jasmine gasped. "Bowser has a wife?!"

Mario nodded. "Yep. She's also the mother of the Koopalings and Bowser Jr."

Jasmine whispered, "Wow. That's interesting."

As they walked out of the Koopa Kingdom, Jasmine began to wonder about Clawdia Koopa and what she's like.

That's it for now! If I have time tomorrow, I'll work on the next chapter!

Tennis Tournament

Hello everyone! I'm finally back with a new chapter! I hope you all like it :)

Two weeks have gone by since Mario and his friends rescued Jasmine from the Koopas. Peach was currently planning on having a tennis tournament soon. She decided to tell Daisy over the phone. She instantly regretted it though, as the bubbly princess squealed, making Peach cringe.

"Alright! I'm definitely coming! I can't wait to play!" Daisy exclaimed. "Is Jasmine going to play?"

Peach replied, "Jasmine told me that she can since she's going to be out of school that week, but she doesn't really know how to play." She added, "Mario and Luigi volunteered to teach her how to play though."

"That's great!" Daisy said. She then thought of something. "Will the Koopas be there too?"

"Yes they are. I already sent them a letter." Peach then giggled. "I'm pretty sure Larry is very excited to play!"

In Bowser's castle, Bowser and his family watched as Larry laughed and jumped up and down.

"I can't wait to play tennis!" Larry cheered. "I'm gonna win!"

Smiling, Clawdia replied, "I know you all will have a good time!" She sighed and muttered, "I wish I didn't have to be around Peach though."

"Hmm. I wonder who we'll all be teamed up with since we'll be playing Doubles." Wendy said.

"I don't care! As long as I win!" Larry answered.

The rest of his siblings rolled their eyes at him and shook their heads.

Weeks went by and the Bros. continued to teach Jasmine how to play tennis. They were currently outside on the tennis court. Mario grinned as Jasmine hit the ball back to him. Mario hit it, but Jasmine missed the ball.

"Shoot!" said Jasmine.

Luigi smiled at her. "You're improving, Jasmine!"

Mario nodded. "Luigi's right! Well, let's take a break."

Jasmine grabbed her water bottle and took a sip. She sat down with Mario and Luigi.

"I'm gonna partner with Daisy." Luigi said.

"And I'm gonna be Peach's partner!" Mario responded.

"Huh?" Jasmine looked at them both. "We can pick our partners?"

Mario replied, "Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't."

Jasmine smiled. "That's so cool."

Luigi returned her smile and asked, "Do you have anyone in mind to be your partner?"

"Hmm. Are Bowser and the others coming?" She asked.

"Yep!" Mario said.

Jasmine thought about each Koopa that she interacted with. Which one would she like to play tennis with? Larry said he loves tennis, so he'd be perfect! But, what about Wendy? Or Iggy? Maybe Morton?

After a moment, Jasmine finally thought of the perfect one to partner with.

"Can Ludwig be my partner?"

"Sure!" Mario replied. "Why Ludwig specifically?"

Jasmine chuckled and replied, "Ludwig could be a good partner!"

"Alright. Peach will tell Ludwig, just to make sure he wants to be your partner." Mario remarked.

The day of the tennis tournament finally arrived. Everyone knew who they were going to be paired up with after Peach informed them weeks in advance. The Koopa family flew away from their kingdom and made their way to the Mushroom Kingdom. Larry smiled as he peered out of the window of the airship.

"I can't wait to get there!" Larry's smile faltered a little. "I wish Daisy was my partner though instead of Waluigi."

Clawdia giggled. "We'll be there soon. And I'm sure you and Waluigi will do great!"

After a few more minutes of flying, they finally arrived at Peach Dome. Everyone exited the airship once it landed. They then rushed over to the board to see who would be playing. Larry frowned when he saw that he wasn't playing first. Instead, he saw Ludwig's name. Ludwig walked closer to the board and smiled, seeing Jasmine's name next to his own.

Junior smirked. "Ooooh! Ludwig and Jasmine!"

Ludwig rolled his eyes and ignored his baby brother.

Wendy then asked, "Speaking of Jasmine, where is she?"

They then heard a voice say, "I'm here!"

The kids turned to their left to see Jasmine running over to them, now in a different outfit. Today she wore a blue dress, blue and white shoes, and a blue visor. She also had her hair pulled back in a ponytail.

Ludwig smiled once she made it to them. "You look really nice."

Jasmine returned his smile. "Thank you." She looked at the board. "Oh, we're playing first! And we're playing against Luigi and Daisy!"

A few minutes later, the remaining members of the Koopa family got their snacks and took their seats. Ludwig and Jasmine grabbed their tennis rackets and walked onto the court with Luigi and Daisy.

"You guys ready?" Daisy asked.

Ludwig and Jasmine nodded.

"Yep. Good luck, you guys!" Jasmine said.

The crowd cheered as Luigi and Daisy walked to the other side of the court. While waiting for Luigi to serve, Ludwig looked at Jasmine.

"Let's do our best." He told her.

Jasmine grinned. "Yeah!"

Then, Luigi served.

After a while, the match finally ended. Ludwig and Jasmine won while Luigi and Daisy lost and were eliminated.

"Alright!" Jasmine cheered.

Luigi and Daisy walked over to them with smiles on their faces.

"Good job!" The couple said in unison.

That's it for now! I'll work on the next one tomorrow if I have time!

Koopa Kingdom Tour

This took me hours to finish, but here's chapter 10!

Also, the fan characters Kaleb, Kaya, Kamari, Karriana, Kameron, and Katrina belong to my sister!

There were many tennis matches over the course of the week and everyone was having a great time. They were excited to see who would win the gold trophy. Finally, when the final game ended, they got their winners. Ludwig and Jasmine smiled as a Koopa Paratroopa handed Ludwig the trophy.

"Alright! We won! We won!" Jasmine cheered, jumping up and down.

Ludwig smiled at his partner. "You can keep the trophy."

"Are you sure?" asked Jasmine.

Ludwig nodded. "Yes."

Jasmine gave him a smile. "Thanks!"

Ludwig did a double take after his heart fluttered. What was that about?

Jasmine looked at the trophy and said, "Y'know, I had so much fun this week, and when I was at Bowser's that last time."

"You really did?" Ludwig asked.

Jasmine nodded. She then continued, "Honestly, you guys aren't that bad. I… I'd really like to hang out with you and your siblings again."

"Well, Wendy did say you can come visit us whenever you want." Ludwig reminded her.

"That's true." Jasmine replied."

The two were silent for a moment. Jasmine then looked around, making sure that Mario and the others weren't nearby.

"So, can I come over soon to hang out with you guys?" Jasmine asked.

Ludwig chuckled. "Yes."

"Great!" Jasmine said. She then added, "Hmm. Hopefully I can sneak over there without Mario and Luigi noticing."

A few days went by since the tennis tournament ended. Jasmine climbed out of the Warp Pipe and arrived in the Mushroom World. She walked into the Mushroom Kingdom and, after hiding behind a tree, pulled out her phone. She scrolled through her contacts until she found Ludwig's name (she got his number after the tournament. Jasmine was still shocked that she could communicate with people in the Mushroom World). When she found it, Jasmine called Ludwig.

A second later, Ludwig answered the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, Ludwig. I just got to the Mushroom Kingdom." Jasmine then chuckled sheepishly. "Hehe, uh, which way do I get to the Koopa Kingdom and the castle again? I kinda forgot."

After chuckling, Ludwig gave Jasmine the directions. Once he was finished, Jasmine smiled.

"Thanks! Well, I'll see you guys soon."

After hanging up, Jasmine tucked her phone back inside her pocket and took a deep breath. After making sure no one was nearby, Jasmine walked away from her hiding spot and left the Mushroom Kingdom.

Jasmine climbed out of another Warp Pipe and leaned against it, catching her breath.

"Oh man. Next time, I'm looking for a Warp Cannon or something. That took forever!"

Jasmine adjusted her glasses and looked around. She made it. After so much walking, Jasmine was finally in the Koopa Kingdom. She looked up at the sky and smiled, seeing that it was clear. She looked around at the Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and Dragon Koopas that were out today.

A few stared at her as she walked by. Some were confused, while others were a little taken aback.

Jasmine giggled to herself. "Guess they don't see that many humans."

Jasmine looked around as she walked.

"The homes and buildings in the Koopa Kingdom look nice."

Eventually, Jasmine arrived at Bowser's massive castle, where two Hammer Bro. guards stood in front of the front doors.

Ludwig whistled as he walked out of the ballroom. He turned and walked down the corridor. Coming up on the opposite end was a Koopa Troopa with a red shell and coily black hair.

"Ah! There you are, Prince Ludwig!" The Troopa said. "There's a young lady here to see you and your siblings."

Ludwig nodded and smiled. "Thank you, Desmond. You can bring her in."

Desmond gave a nod and walked away. A minute later, Desmond returned with the human girl walking behind him.

Jasmine gave Ludwig a smile. "Hey."

"Hi." Ludwig motioned for her to come closer. "Follow me."

Desmond then turned around and left. Jasmine walked closer to Ludwig and they left the hallway. Ludwig led her to the game room and opened the door. The rest of Ludwig's siblings were already inside. Lemmy looked up when he heard the door open and grinned widely when he saw them.

"Hi, Jasmine!" He greeted. "What are you doing here?"

The others looked up as Jasmine and Ludwig walked into the room. "I wanted to hang out for a bit." Jasmine said.

"Great!" Lemmy exclaimed.

Jasmine and the Koopas played a few games, having so much fun. They were almost finished playing a board game. Lemmy rolled the dice and moved his game piece. He cheered, winning. Larry pouted and grumbled. Then, Lemmy gasped, getting everyone's attention.

"Hey! I got an idea! Why don't we give Jasmine a tour of the kingdom?"

Iggy said, "That's a great idea, Lemmy!" He looked at Jasmine. "Would you want to do that, Jasmine?"

Jasmine grinned. "Yeah!"

After putting the game away, the kids left the game room and walked down the hall. When they got closer to the throne room, Jasmine gasped. Standing behind Bowser was his wife, Clawdia Koopa. She noticed the kids and smiled.

"Hi, sweeties!" She then noticed Jasmine. "Oh! Who's your friend?"

Junior replied, "This is Jasmine, Mama! The girl I told you about before."

Clawdia smiled at her. "Well, hello, Jasmine."

"Hi. It's nice to meet you." Jasmine looked at Clawdia. "You're very beautiful!"

Clawdia giggled. "Thank you! Now that I think of it, I think I did see you walking with Mario and his group." She chuckled. "I was too focused on Peach to fully see you."

After laughing, Lemmy exclaimed, "We're going to give Jasmine a tour of the Koopa Kingdom!"

Clawdia nodded. "Well, you kids have fun!"

Clawdia then walked inside of the throne room.

"Clawdia seems nice." Jasmine thought to herself.

Larry looked at everyone. "Alright, let's go!"

The group then made their way to the front doors and walked out of the castle.

Jasmine looked around as a few of the Koopalings walked ahead of her. A few Koopa Troopas and Hammer Bros. bowed to Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings as they walked by. Eventually, they made it to a town.

Lemmy looked at Jasmine and said, "This town is called Koopa Valley. There are some citizens that live here, but a lot of the Koopa Troop and their families live here too!"

Jasmine gasped. "Oh! I saw this place when Ludwig kidnapped me!"

She saw a few Dragon Koopas walking by. They all looked so cool and colorful! Then, Jasmine heard Iggy gasp and she turned to her right. Walking out of a bookstore was a Dragon Koopa girl who looked to be around Iggy's age. Just like a lot of Koopas, she had tan skin. She had black hair pulled back in a ponytail, purple glasses, light purple eyes, red wrist bands, a purple shell with red rings surrounding the spikes, and red shoes.

Iggy yelled, "Tiana!"

The girl, Tiana, looked up and grinned when she saw the kids. She then rushed over to the group.

"Hello!" She greeted.

Lemmy grinned. "Hi, Tia!" He gestured toward Jasmine. "This is our new friend, Jasmine!" He looked at Jasmine. "Jasmine, this is our friend, Tiana."

Jasmine smiled. "Hey."

"H-Hi." Tiana replied shyly.

Iggy then stated, "We're giving Jasmine a tour of the kingdom."

Tiana smiled. "That sounds fun!" She added, "Well, I gotta head home. I'll talk to you later, Iggy!"

After saying goodbye to everyone, Tiana turned around and walked away. Jasmine looked at Iggy. She smirked, noticing the soft smile on his face. They walked past a playground, which had a sign that read "Koopa Kid Park". A few children were laughing and running around.

Eventually, they went through a Warp Pipe and arrived in another town. Jasmine looked around in amazement. The houses and shops in this town looked slightly smaller than the ones in Koopa Valley. There was a school nearby and an inn up ahead.

"We're now in Koopa Town." Ludwig told her.

Larry added, "This town is pretty nice!"

"It looks nice." Jasmine remarked.

As they walked through the town, Jasmine gasped. Across the street was another human. It was a woman with tan skin, long black hair pulled back in a ponytail, pink lipstick, and wearing a pink dress and pink heels. The woman was walking with another human girl, two Koopas, and two more girls who had Koopa horns, Koopa tails, and a fang-like tooth in the upper corner of their mouths. All three girls had the same skin tone and hair color as the woman, but they had blue eyes instead of brown like her.

Two of the girls (the human and the young girl with Koopa features) wore dark pink shirts, blue jeans, and black shoes. The human girl wore dark pink wrist bands while the other wore purple ones. The youngest girl with Koopa features wore a soft, light pink shirt, light purple wrist bands, blue jeans, and white shoes.

The two Koopas with them had the same yellow skin tone most Koopas had and blue eyes. The older Koopa had two horns, but a piece of the right horn was cut off. He had spiky red hair with black at the tips that he pulled back in a short ponytail, a red goatee, two spikes on his tail, a red shell with black rings surrounding the spikes, and he wore a black collar around his neck.

The younger Koopa had a red, white, and black Mohawk, spiked wrist bands, and a black shell with red rings surrounding the spikes.

Jasmine looked at the others. "Humans live here too?"

After looking across the street, Ludwig replied, "A few do."

Roy grinned. "That Koopa with the Mohawk is my friend, Kameron. The others are his family."

Jasmine let out another gasp. "No way! That woman is married to a Koopa?"

Roy chuckled and answered, "Yep!" He then said, "That woman, Kaya, is Kameron's stepmom. And the human girl, Karriana, is his step-sister."

Kameron noticed Roy and waved to him. After Roy waved back, Kameron followed his family.

Roy then explained, "His dad's name is Kaleb and the younger girls with the horns and tails are Kamari and Katrina, Kameron's and Karriana's half sisters."

Jasmine's jaw dropped, making Roy smirk.

"I saw two kids in the Mushroom Kingdom. One had Koopa horns and the other had horns and a Koopa tail." Jasmine said.

Wendy chuckled and replied, "Well, those kids, along with Kamari and Katrina, are hybrids."

Jasmine asked, "Really?"

Iggy nodded. "There's actually a village in a forest where more hybrids and mixed couples live."

Jasmine gasped even louder this time. "Are you serious?!"

Iggy giggled. "I'm very serious!" He said, "It's called the Hybrid Village, or sometimes Hybrid Hollow."

"The forest that the village is located in is in between the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdom." Morton remarked.

"So, I passed it on the way here?" Jasmine asked.

Lemmy giggled. "Yep!" Lemmy then said, "Maybe we can take you there someday."

"I'd like that." Jasmine replied.

They left Koopa Town after that and made it to Neo Bowser City, or Koopa City as some Koopas like to call it. Jasmine smiled at the many neon lights around the city.

"It looks even better in person than it does in Mario Kart!" Jasmine thought to herself.

After looking around Neo Bowser City, the Koopa children took Jasmine to Emberstone. While in the town, Jasmine spotted an orphanage called "Hatchling Hollow". A few children were peeking out of the window of the orphanage. The kids waved to the group and they waved back while walking by. When they left Emberstone, they made it to Shellspire City. Shellspire City had so many tall buildings, maybe even taller than the ones in Neo Bowser City!

When they were finished in Shellspire City, the Koopas took Jasmine to the last location, Cinder Heights. Cinder Heights was on a higher rocky hill and was near Shellspire City. As she looked around, Jasmine noticed a lot of Magikoopas, Dragon Koopas, and Koopa Troopas here. There were even a few Dry Bones living here!

"Wow! This is nice!" Jasmine exclaimed.

"A lot of high-ranking Magikoopas live here. And rich Koopas." Wendy explained.

Lemmy smiled widely at Jasmine and said, "That's the whole kingdom!" He then blinked. "Well, there is Koopa Beach, Koopa Troopa Beach, and Koopa Cape, but they're near the kingdom, not in it."

"Oh! And Grumble Volcano is near the kingdom." Larry said.

Roy continued, "That place is in between our kingdom and our aunt's kingdom."

Jasmine nodded. "That's amazing!"

Bowser Jr. looked at his siblings. "Can we get some ice cream? I want a snack."

"Sure." Ludwig replied after chuckling.

The group then made their way to an ice cream shop.

Finally I made a longer chapter lol. Well, that's it for now!

Strange Behavior

Here's a new chapter :D

After finishing their ice cream, the group decided to hang out around Emberstone. Jasmine smiled as she looked around the town. It really was nice. All of the Koopas in this town seemed really nice too. She reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone. Then, Jasmine gasped.

"What's wrong, Jasmine?" Wendy asked.

Jasmine replied, "I have to head home soon. I wasn't paying attention to the time."

Hearing that made Ludwig frown. Junior pouted and folded his arms.

"I don't want you to leave." He grumbled.

Jasmine knelt down and pulled Bowser Jr. into a hug. "Don't worry. I'll try to visit again this weekend."

Junior gasped. "Really? Sweet!"

Jasmine giggled and patted his head. She stood and looked at everyone.

"Well, bye guys!"

The Koopalings said goodbye and everyone watched as Jasmine turned around and walked away. Ludwig's frown returned as he watched Jasmine get farther and farther away. Larry looked up at him and arched an eyebrow.

"Ludwig? Are you ok?" He asked him.

Ludwig looked at him and quickly said, "I'm fine! I was just thinking about something." He looked at his siblings. "We should head back to the castle."

The others exchanged confused glances with each other as Ludwig walked ahead of them.

Jasmine smiled when she finally made it back to the Mushroom Kingdom. As she made her way to the Warp Pipe, she froze when she heard a familiar high pitched voice. "Jasmine!"

Jasmine turned around and smiled. "Hi, Toad! Hi, Toadette!"

"Are you here to hang out with the princess?" Toadette asked.

Jasmine chuckled. "I was going to, but I got distracted by the sights and lost track of time. I gotta head home now."

Toad laughed. "The Mushroom Kingdom IS a great place!"

Toadette nodded. "Well, I guess we'll see you soon, Jasmine."

"Bye!" Jasmine then turned around and headed for the pipe.

Jasmine returned to Brooklyn and made her way to her house. When she got there, Jasmine walked inside and saw her little cousin walking out of the living room. He smiled and ran over to her.

"Hi, Jazzy!" Alvin greeted her.

"Hey, Alvie." Jasmine smiled at him.

"Guess what. We're having pizza for dinner!"

Jasmine grinned. "Yes!"

They joined her parents in the living room and watched TV. Kiara looked at her daughter with a smile.

"So, what did you get up to in the Mushroom World?" She asked.

Jasmine replied, "Well… I was hanging out in… Bowser's kingdom."

Her family gasped and stared at her wide eyed.

"Why would you hang out there?" David asked.

Kiara asked her, "Didn't you get kidnapped by those guys? Twice?"

"Yes," Jasmine said, "but I got to know them. The kids aren't that bad."

Kiara moved a brown braid out of her face. "I'm really not sure if you should hang out in the Mushroom World as much."

"I'm fine, Mom." Jasmine reassured her. "Plus, Mario and Luigi will help me if I need it."

They then heard the doorbell ring.

"That must be the pizza." David remarked.

In Bowser's castle, Ludwig whistled as he made his way to the ballroom. Larry turned down the hallway and ran to catch up with his oldest brother.

"Hey, Ludwig! What was going on earlier?"

Ludwig stopped whistling and turned to face Larry, raising an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Larry replied, "The sad expression on your face and how you rushed ahead of us! What's your deal?"

Ludwig chuckled nervously. "Like I said, I was just thinking about something."

This time, Larry raised an eyebrow. "What were you thinking about?"

Ludwig began to sweat. "I was just thinking about a song that I'm trying to write."

"Really?" Larry asked.

"Really." Ludwig opened the doors to the ballroom.

He walked inside and made his way over to the piano. Larry stared at him for a few more seconds before turning away and heading to his room.

The next day, the Koopalings and Junior arrived at the castle after leaving school.

"Ugh! My math test was tough!" Wendy groaned.

"You should've studied more." Iggy said.

Wendy rolled her eyes. "I did."

They walked inside the castle and made their way to their rooms to start their homework. Ludwig sat down at his desk and pulled out his science homework. As he got halfway through it, his mind landed on Jasmine.

Ludwig whispered to himself, "Seriously. Why does she seem so familiar to me!? What is it? Where have I seen her?"

Ludwig finished up his science homework and moved on to his math homework.

In Brooklyn, Jasmine stretched as she finished her homework. She put her stuff back inside of her backpack and grabbed her pencil and sketchbook. After flipping to a clean page, Jasmine drew two faces. Once she was finished, she then began to draw Ludwig.

"I've always loved Ludwig's hair." She whispered to herself.

After a few minutes, the drawing was finished. Jasmine set the pencil on her nightstand and took a closer look at the drawing.

"It came out perfect." Jasmine smiled. "His eyes look beautiful." Jasmine sighed. "Ludwig looks so cute…"

Jasmine blinked. "Wait… did I really just say that? I mean… I guess he does look good." Jasmine closed and put away her sketchbook.

She turned on her TV and watched a comedy show. As she watched the show, her mind went back to what she called Ludwig.

"Seriously. What was that about?"

My nephew is supposed to be coming over tomorrow for the weekend. So I'll try to work on the next chapter before he does if I have the time.

Learning about Each Other

I hope you all enjoy this chapter :)

After a long week, the weekend finally came. Jasmine smiled after finishing up cleaning the house with her parents.

She stretched her arms and said, "Well, since we're finished, I think I'm gonna head out now."

David adjusted his glasses and smiled at his daughter. "Alright. Have fun and be safe."

Kiara nodded. "Yes, Jasmine. Please be safe!"

Jasmine gave her parents a bright smile. "I will!"

She left her house and made her way to the park.

When Jasmine got to the park, she saw a man and woman jogging along the path. After making sure they got farther away, Jasmine entered the cave and jumped down the Warp Pipe. She grinned when she made it to the Mushroom World. Jasmine hid behind a tree, making sure no one could see her. Once she saw that no one was nearby, Jasmine made her way to the Koopa Kingdom.

Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings were currently in the game room watching TV. The door to the game room opened slightly and the kids turned to see who it was. Their mother poked her head inside and smiled.

"Kids, you have a visitor." She said.

"Really?" Larry asked. "Who is it?"

Clawdia opened up the door wider, revealing Jasmine to them.

"Hey, guys! I made it!" Jasmine exclaimed.

The kids smiled at their friend. Ludwig's smile was the widest, and his tail wagged. Wendy and Larry noticed this and glanced at each other.

Clawdia smiled again and said, "You all have fun!"

Clawdia shut the door as she left.

"So, what were you guys up to?" Jasmine asked as she sat with everyone.

"Nothing much. Just watching TV." Larry replied.

Wendy smiled. "Hey! Why don't we get to know you more, Jasmine?"

"Sure." Jasmine looked at everyone. "And maybe I can learn more about you guys. What do you wanna know?"

Wendy asked, "Well, do you have any siblings?"

"No, but my little cousin, Alvin is the closest thing to a sibling." Jasmine responded. She added, "He's with his parents for the weekend."

Ludwig raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Jasmine explained, "Alvin stays with my parents and I to go to a better elementary school in our area, and he goes back to his parents during the weekend."

"Ah. That makes sense." Iggy replied.

"Hmm, now I got a question for you guys." Jasmine said. "So, what's the deal with those empty castles you guys use during your invasions? Do they belong to anyone?"

Ludwig smiled and explained, "Besides our battles with those plumbers, we use them as a place to relax, or like a vacation castle."

"Princess Peach doesn't mind us using that small castle in her kingdom, y'know, as long as we don't cause any trouble." Larry added.

"That's really cool!" Jasmine said.

Morton then said, "Who knows? Some of us might even move into those castles in the future."

"Really?" Junior said. "But… I kinda like all of us being in the same castle."

Wendy smiled softly at her baby brother. "We don't have to worry about that right now. We can just enjoy being together."

Jasmine and the Koopas continued to ask each other questions and learned more about each other. When they were finished, everyone agreed on watching a movie together.

Morton grinned. "I'll go make us some popcorn!"

He then rushed out of the room. Jasmine, still sitting on the floor, sat next to Lemmy. Morton returned a few minutes later with a large bowl of buttery popcorn. He set the popcorn on the table and made his way over to the mini fridge in the corner of the game room to grab some sodas.

"So, what movie should we watch?" Jasmine asked.

"Oooh! Let's watch a romance movie!" Wendy said.

Roy scoffed. "No way! We gotta watch an action movie!"

"No! Comedy!" Lemmy cheered.

After a short argument, the kids agreed on watching a horror movie. Larry picked up the remote and found one for them to watch. He pressed play and the movie started. As everyone watched the movie, Ludwig glanced at Jasmine a few times.

"This next scene coming up is kinda funny." Larry said as he stuffed some popcorn in his mouth.

He glanced around at everyone. When his eyes landed on Ludwig, he noticed that he was staring at Jasmine.

"Huh? Why is Ludwig staring at her?"

Larry then looked back at the movie.

One day next week I'll work on the next chapter!

Talking to Ludwig

I was planning on posting this chapter yesterday, but I was still tired from babysitting my nephew. But here it is! I hope you all like it :D

Weeks have gone by since Jasmine and the Koopas got to know each other more. Today, Wendy went shopping at the mall in Shellspire City. After buying what she wanted, Wendy left the mall and returned to the castle. She smiled to herself as she walked inside. Along with a new dress, Wendy bought some new pink nail polish. She couldn't wait to try it out!

As she took two steps on the stairs, Larry entered the hallway.

"Hey, Wendy? Can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked.

"Oh, sure." Wendy turned around and walked over to her younger brother. "What is it?"

Larry leaned in closer and whispered, "Have you noticed Ludwig acting kinda weird lately? Y'know… with Jasmine?"

Wendy put her hand to her chin. "I did notice him smiling real big and his tail wagging when Jasmine came over before."

"I saw that too!" Larry replied. "I also saw Ludwig staring at Jasmine while we were watching the movie."

Wendy stood there and thought it over. It was pretty strange. Ludwig's never acted like this before. Except when…

Wendy gasped, which made Larry arch an eyebrow.

"What is it?"

Wendy grinned. "I bet Ludwig is in love with Jasmine!"

The two froze when they heard a familiar voice say, "What? Are you insane?!"

They turned to the stairs to see Ludwig quickly walking down and over to them.

"Well, can you blame us for thinking it?" Larry asked. "You seem so weird when she's around!"

"Plus, now that I think about it, you've done similar stuff like this with other guys and girls that you've ended up dating."

As Ludwig's face turned red, he said, "W-Well, it's… well, she still looks familiar to me! That's it!"

Wendy let out another gasp. "Wait a minute! Remember when we all got that gemstone reading done months ago in the Crystal Kingdom? That Crystal Toad told us that some of us will end up in relationships soon, while others would take one or two years." Wendy smiled broadly. "What if Jasmine is the one that you'll end up with, Ludwig?"

Ludwig scoffed. "Oh please! Why would I ever date a human?" Ludwig's eyes widened and he quickly added, "N-Not that there's anything wrong with that!"

Larry chuckled. "Come on, Lud. It's ok if you have a crush on Jasmine."

"I don't!" Ludwig responded. "We all just became friends with her!"

Wendy smirked. "Suuure you don't."

"I do not!" Ludwig exclaimed.

Ludwig walked away, his face red as he heard his siblings laughing with each other.

The following day, the kids were back in the game room. As they relaxed, the door to the room opened and Jasmine walked inside. Ludwig smiled at her, but it quickly faltered when he saw the slight annoyance on her face.

"Jasmine? What's wrong?" He asked her.

Jasmine sighed as she walked over. "My mother still has an issue with me coming to the Koopa Kingdom."

"Why's that?" Wendy asked.

Jasmine replied, "Because I got kidnapped twice." Jasmine sighed again. "I just wish my mom would understand that you guys aren't that bad."

After a minute of silence, Lemmy spoke up. "Huh. Maybe she could if she meets one of us."

Jasmine gasped once again and smiled. "That's a great idea, Lemmy!" She then frowned slightly. "But… I'm not sure who to bring."

"I'll go!" Ludwig quickly said. He cleared his throat. "I mean… I don't mind going and talking to your parents."

Larry and Wendy shared a knowing look.

Jasmine gave Ludwig a smile and said, "Great! Thanks so much, Ludwig!"

I'll work on the next chapter hopefully tomorrow!

Meet the Family

This took me some time to finish, but here it is :D

Ludwig looked into his mirror, making sure that his hair was as perfect as always. Yesterday, after hanging out with him and his siblings, Jasmine told her parents that she wanted them to meet a friend of hers. That was the plan, but her mother suggested that Jasmine should invite her friend over for dinner instead. But until then, Ludwig and Jasmine would be hanging out for a few hours in the city. They were going to meet up around lunchtime, so Ludwig had a few minutes to himself.

Ludwig smiled at his reflection. His hair looked fantastic, like always! Once he left his bedroom, Ludwig entered the living room. He sat down on the couch and closed his eyes, enjoying the silence. Morton and Roy walked by, but stopped and poked their heads inside.

"So, you ready for your date with Jasmine?" Roy asked and chuckled.

Ludwig opened his eyes widely and his face turned red. He looked toward his brothers and said, "It's not a date!"

After chuckling, Morton asked Ludwig, "Are you guys going to go somewhere to eat?"

"Yes," Ludwig replied, "but it isn't a date. We're just going to do stuff around Brooklyn until it's time for me to talk to Jasmine's parents."

Roy smirked. "Good luck."

After that, Roy and Morton walked away. Ludwig sat there and shook his head. A few minutes later, Ludwig glanced up at the clock. He stood up, grabbed his wand, and made his way to the entrance of the castle.

Jasmine stood near the Warp Pipe where the the tall mushrooms grew. She smiled as the cool breeze touched her face and watched a few Biddybuds walk by. Jasmine looked up at the sky.

"I wonder where Ludwig is."

Then, as if someone read her mind, Jasmine heard a familiar voice say, "I'm here, Jasmine!"

Jasmine gasped as she looked ahead. Running towards her was a human boy. He had fair skin and wild blue hair. She looked at his outfit. He wore a blue dress shirt, black spiked bands on his wrists, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. When he got closer, Jasmine noticed his tooth, which wasn't as sharp as usual, but still stuck out of his mouth.

"L-Ludwig?" Jasmine said. "Is that really you?" After he nodded, Jasmine said, "Wow, you look… amazing!"

Ludwig blushed. "Thanks." He glanced down at his outfit. "I'm overdressed, but I wanted to make a good impression."

Jasmine smiled. "I get it. I guess you used magic to do this, huh?"

Ludwig nodded again. "Yes, I did."

Jasmine then chuckled. "We're almost acting like I'm introducing my parents to my boyfriend."

Ludwig laughed along with her. But at the same time, their hearts fluttered at the thought.

Once they calmed down, Jasmine asked, "So, what do you wanna do first?"

Before Ludwig could respond, they both heard Jasmine's stomach growling.

Jasmine's face grew warm. "I guess we should go eat lunch first."

The two climbed out of the pipe and walked out of the cave. Jasmine walked beside Ludwig when they made it to the city. Ludwig looked around, seeing the many different buildings near them and so many people out today.

"We can go eat at the pizza place that I used to work at." Jasmine said.

"Oh ok." Ludwig then thought about what Jasmine just said. "Wait. 'Used to'?"

Jasmine nodded. She then replied, "I had to quit recently because I couldn't juggle work, school, and hanging out with friends."

"Oh, that's too bad." said Ludwig.

Jasmine smiled. "The owner told me that I can come back whenever I'm ready." She moved a strand of hair out of her face. "For now, I can help my aunts and uncles out with anything to make money."

The two eventually made it to the pizza place and walked inside. The scent hit them the moment the door swung open—garlic, melting mozzarella cheese, and tangy tomato sauce. It was inviting and always reminded Jasmine of eating here with her family as a kid. This time, both of their stomachs growled. Jasmine then turned to Ludwig.

"Why don't we share a pizza? We can get half of what you like and half of what I like!"

Ludwig smiled. "That's perfect!"

The two went over to the counter and ordered their pizza and soda.

"Ok, I'd like a pizza that's half pepperoni and…" she looked at Ludwig. "What topping would you like?"

"Anchovies." Ludwig responded.

Ludwig watched as Jasmine scrunched up her face in disgust, which he found rather adorable.

"Ugh. Ok, half pepperoni and half anchovies."

Once they finished ordering and paying for their food, they took a seat at one of the tables by the window.

"I can't believe you like anchovies on your pizza!" Jasmine said.

Ludwig chuckled. "It's pretty good!"

Jasmine stared at Ludwig for a moment. He looked back her while raising an eyebrow.

"Jasmine? What's wrong?" He wondered.

Jasmine snapped out of it and said, "Sorry. You just… look so familiar right now. I can't really think of who you look like."

"Oh. Have you met someone who I resemble?" Ludwig asked.

Jasmine shrugged. "Maybe someone in the past."

Their food and drinks eventually arrived and they ate.

Later on, the two finished their lunch and they left the pizza place. Jasmine suggested that they talk a walk through the park and Ludwig agreed. Just like in the Mushroom Kingdom, today was a great day! A few people were in this park when they arrived. Some people were jogging and others were sitting by trees.

As they walked on the path, Jasmine glanced at Ludwig a few times.

"Seriously! Who does Ludwig look like?" She wondered.

The two walked past a tree where two kids were running around it. Jasmine looked at Ludwig again.

"Ludwig does look very handsome."

Jasmine's heart fluttered as she looked at him. Ludwig glanced at her and the two quickly looked away, blushing. They make it to a bench and sat down for a little bit. Jasmine looked at Ludwig again with a smile.

"Are you having a good time so far, Ludwig?" She asked.

"Yes." Ludwig said.

Jasmine replied, "You know, I like hanging out with you, Ludwig."

"You do?" Ludwig asked.

"Mhm." Jasmine said. "I know we didn't get along back when we first met, but you're a really interesting guy."

Ludwig's cheeks turned pink. "Th-Thank you."

A few minutes went by. Then, Jasmine spoke again.

"You wanna come to my house and play video games?"

"Sure."

A few hours went by as the two sat in Jasmine's room playing video games. Right now, they were playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

"Why did you choose this game instead of Mario Kart World?" Ludwig wondered.

Jasmine shrugged and responded, "I still like this game."

After throwing a red shell, Jasmine made it to first place and crossed the finish line.

"Alright!" Jasmine cheered.

Then, as they prepared to play another round, they heard a feminine voice say from downstairs, "Jasmine! We're home!"

Jasmine looked at Ludwig. "Are you ready?"

Ludwig nodded. Jasmine turned off the game and her TV. She then led Ludwig back downstairs where they saw three people. Ludwig looked at all of them. The man and the boy both had fair skin and black hair. But the boy had blue eyes instead of brown like the man and woman.

The boy wore a long sleeved blue shirt, light blue jean shorts, and black shoes. The man wore glasses like Jasmine, a white shirt, jeans, and black shoes. The woman had the same chestnut skin as Jasmine. She had brown hair styled in braids and wore a purple shirt, jeans, and black shoes. The three of them smiled at Jasmine and their guest.

"Hello." The woman greeted.

Ludwig bowed. "Hello. I am Ludwig von Koopa. It's a pleasure meeting you all."

The boy gasped. "Wait. This is Ludwig?!"

Jasmine nodded. "Yep. This is the friend who I wanted you guys to meet." She looked at Ludwig and gestured toward her family. "Ludwig, these are my parents, David and Kiara. And my little cousin, Alvin."

Ludwig reached into his pocket and pulled out his wand. Waving it, he turned back into his original Koopa form, making Jasmine's family gasp.

"Whoa…" David and Alvin said in unison.

Kiara trembled slightly. "B-But, he kidnapped you, Jasmine! Why do you… I… I don't understand!"

Ludwig took a step forward and looked at them. He then said, "I apologize for the distress our troops have caused your daughter. I swear that she has never been harmed under my watch."

David relaxed a bit a minute later and gave Ludwig a smile.

"Thank you for being honest."

Alvin giggled. "You don't seem so bad so far!"

Kiara hesitated, still staring at Ludwig. Three minutes later, she sighed and said, "Alright. I'll give you a chance."

Ludwig smiled. "Thank you."

Kiara looked at her daughter. "Jasmine, can you help me with dinner?"

"Alright!" Jasmine answered.

"Um, I can help out too, if you'd like." Ludwig said.

Kiara stared at Ludwig in shock. She then said, "Oh, um, sure. Thank you."

After some time, everyone sat down at the table and ate their dinner. Everyone was having a great time together. Kiara was still suspicious of Ludwig, but remained very kind to him. Soon, it started getting late. After washing the dishes and talking for a bit, Ludwig stood up from his seat and smiled at Jasmine's family.

"Thank you so much for having me over."

Kiara gave Ludwig a small smile. "You're very welcome, Ludwig."

"Do you remember the way to the pipe?" Jasmine asked him.

"Yeah."

Ludwig took out his wand and transformed back into a human. He put the wand into his pocket.

"Well, goodbye, everyone!" He said.

Jasmine's family waved to him. "Goodbye!"

Jasmine smiled. "Bye, Luddy!"

Ludwig then walked out of the house. As he walked down the street, he stopped for a moment.

"Luddy?"

If I got time tomorrow, I'll work on the next chapter :)

Luddy

Hi! I hope you all like this chapter :)

David raised an eyebrow at his daughter. "Why'd you call him Luddy?"

Jasmine looked back at her family and shrugged. "I honestly don't know."

Alvin giggled. "Luddy. It's kinda funny."

Jasmine playfully rolled her eyes. She then chuckled and said, "The nickname suits him!"

The next morning, the Koopas were in the dining hall eating breakfast.

"Ludwig?" Clawdia called out to him. Ludwig didn't respond. "Ludwig!" Still no response.

Ludwig continued to stare at his plate. Roy punched him in the arm, finally snapping Ludwig out of his thoughts.

"Ow! What was that for?" Ludwig asked as he rubbed his arm.

"Mom was talking to ya!" Roy replied.

Ludwig smiled sheepishly at Clawdia. "Sorry, Mom. What were you saying?"

Clawdia furrowed her brow. "Lulu, is everything alright? You've been spacing out all morning."

"I'm fine." Ludwig replied. "I was just thinking about something that happened last night."

"What happened?" Bowser asked.

Ludwig sighed. "I was leaving Jasmine's house. When I said goodbye, Jasmine…"

"Jasmine kissed you?!" Bowser Jr. exclaimed, cutting Ludwig off. "She did, didn't she?"

Ludwig's face turned red. "No! No! How did you come to that conclusion?!" Ludwig let out a breath. "After I said goodbye, Jasmine said goodbye, but… she called me Luddy."

Roy raised an eyebrow. "That's it? That's what's on your mind?"

"Yes." Ludwig answered.

Larry giggled. "Did you yell at Jasmine for calling you that?"

After taking a sip of his coffee, Ludwig said, "No."

Once they heard that, Larry's jaw dropped and a few of their siblings gasped.

"What? B-But, you don't allow us to call you that!" Larry exclaimed.

Ludwig replied, "Because it's undignified."

"You said the same thing about Lulu!" Larry said.

"Yes." Ludwig responded, "But only Mom can call me that."

Wendy decided to speak up. "So, did you have a problem with Jasmine calling you Luddy?"

Ludwig tensed up. Everyone at the table stared at the oldest Koopaling.

Clawdia smiled at him. "I think it's sweet that you're fine with someone calling you Luddy."

Ludwig grumbled and finished his breakfast.

A few days went by and the kids haven't seen or heard from Jasmine. After making sure her makeup looked alright, Wendy put her compact mirror inside of her shell.

"I wonder if Jasmine's ok." She said.

"She must be busy." Iggy replied.

As if on cue, Ludwig's phone dinged. He reached into his shell and took it out. When he saw what the notification was, he smiled.

"Jasmine just texted me." He said.

Roy and Larry chuckled and smirked at Ludwig, making him raise an eyebrow.

"What's wrong?"

Roy asked him, "How long have you had Jasmine's number?"

"Not that long." Ludwig answered.

"Why didn't Jasmine get our numbers?" Larry wondered.

Ludwig rolled his eyes. "I'll give you guys her number later."

Finally, Ludwig opened Jasmine's message and read it out loud for everyone.

"Hey! I've been really busy with school, but I'll be able to come over tomorrow after hanging out with Mario and Luigi."

"Alright!" Junior cheered.

Ludwig began to reply back to her.

"That's great! By the way, can my siblings have your number?"

"Bye, guys!" Jasmine said to Mario and Luigi as she left their house.

"Bye, Jasmine!" Mario replied.

Luigi waved. "We'll see you soon!"

After waving, Jasmine walked away. She hid behind a tree and looked around. Once she saw that no one was nearby, Jasmine left her hiding spot and made her way to the Koopa Kingdom.

Once Jasmine arrived at Bowser's castle, she's let inside by the guards and walked down the hall. She walked by the living room, but stopped in her tracks when she noticed Clawdia inside. She was sitting on the couch. It looked like she was reading a book. Curious, Jasmine walked inside and made her way over to Bowser's wife.

"Queen Clawdia, what are you doing?" Jasmine asked.

Clawdia looked up at Jasmine with a smile. "I'm just looking through a photo album."

Jasmine took a look at a page. It had photos of Bowser Jr. and Larry as babies.

Jasmine gasped and smiled. "Oh my gosh! They're so cute!"

Clawdia flipped the page. The next two had photos of Wendy and Iggy at four and five years old. Jasmine gasped as she noticed Iggy's hair in the pictures. Instead of green and plant-like, it was a multicolored Mohawk.

"Iggy's hair is way different." Jasmine chuckled. "Did he just decide to change his style or something?"

Clawdia frowned slightly as she looked at the picture. "Iggy was working on an experiment one day and… it backfired." She sighed. "It turned his hair green and made it look like a plant."

"Aw, that's a shame." Jasmine replied.

"I sometimes miss his old hair color and style. And how he and Lemmy matched." Clawdia chuckled. "People would sometimes mistake them for twins."

When Clawdia flipped to the next page, Jasmine saw pictures of Ludwig as a baby and a six-year-old.

"Aww, he's so cute!" Jasmine cooed.

Clawdia giggled. "I know!" She smiled at a photo of baby Ludwig. "I miss Lulu and the others at these ages."

Jasmine nodded. She then said, "Oh, I don't think I've ever heard you call Ludwig Lulu before."

Clawdia replied, "Ludwig isn't a big fan of the nickname, but he only allows me to call him that."

"Does he like or hate any other nicknames?" Jasmine wondered.

"Ludwig prefers his siblings and cousins to call him Lud, Lou, or just Ludwig. Not sure how he feels about Lutz, but maybe he'd like it." Clawdia explained. "Oh! He's never been found of the nicknames Wiggy or Luddy. But he might change his mind on the latter."

Jasmine nodded and began to think.

"I hope I didn't upset Ludwig by calling him that."

Ludwig was walking down the hall when he heard the sound of laughter.

"Hm?"

He walked closer to the living room and peeked inside. He saw Jasmine and Clawdia inside, looking at a photo album. When he saw a picture of himself as a toddler, Ludwig gasped and quickly rushed inside.

"Mom! Why are you showing Jasmine my baby pictures!?"

"Jasmine wanted to look." Clawdia answered.

Jasmine giggled. "Yeah! You all were so adorable!" She then added, "I had no idea you hated taking showers or combing your hair as a kid," Jasmine snorted. "to the point where your parents had to force you to do it!"

Ludwig blushed and gave his mother a horrified look. "Mom! Why would you tell her that!?"

Clawdia giggled and mouthed "sorry" to him.

Ludwig sighed and turned to face Jasmine. "Well, I'm sure the others are in the game room waiting for us."

"Alright." Jasmine said as she stood up. She then looked at Clawdia. "I'd love to look at more photos another time!"

Clawdia smiled. "Sure! I'd be happy to show you!"

As Jasmine followed Ludwig out of the living room, her mind went back to the nicknames that he liked and disliked. She looked at Ludwig.

"Hey, Ludwig? I was wondering… were you annoyed by me calling you Luddy before?"

After three seconds, Ludwig said, "No. Why?"

Jasmine explained, "Clawdia told me that you didn't care for the nickname. I just thought it was cute for you."

Ludwig's cheeks grew warm again. "W-Well, um… I guess it'd be alright if only you called me that."

Jasmine smiled brightly. "Really? Great! I'm glad you're not upset by it, Luddy!"

Ludwig's heart skipped a beat as they made their way to the game room.

I'll try to work on the next chapter tomorrow if I have time :) btw, the thing about Ludwig hating showers and combing his hair is based off of the SMB3 show's writer's bible that said Kooky never showers or combs his hair lol

King Obsidian: The Shellsplit

Happy Valentine's Day everybody :D I hope you all like this chapter!

"Hi, Jasmine!" Lemmy greeted as Jasmine and Ludwig entered the game room.

"Hi!" Jasmine said.

Jasmine sat next to Lemmy on the couch, with Ludwig sitting next to her. She looked around the room and saw a familiar Koopa girl sitting with Iggy and Wendy. Jasmine smiled at her.

"Hi, Tiana!"

"H-Hi." Tiana said shyly.

Jasmine then noticed a sketchbook in Tiana's hands. "Oh! I didn't know you liked to draw! What are you drawing?"

Tiana turned the sketchbook around. The page showed a drawing of a Fire Flower.

"Wow! That's pretty good!" Jasmine exclaimed.

"Thanks." Tiana said. "I like to write too."

Jasmine smiled. "I'm not much of a writer, but I like to draw too!"

"Whoa, really?" Lemmy said. "Can we see?"

Jasmine nodded and took out her phone. She went to her photos and showed everyone her drawing of Ludwig. Everyone gasped as they looked at the drawing.

"Wow! It looks just like him!" Larry said.

Jasmine put her phone back in her pocket. "I enjoy semi realism, but I also love to draw in a cartoony style."

Tiana smiled sadly. "You're way better than me…"

"Hey, you're really good too!" Jasmine told her. "I know you're gonna improve!"

Ludwig nodded. "Jasmine's right, Tia. I know if you keep practicing, you'll improve so much!"

Tiana's face flushed. "Thanks, you guys."

After that, everyone watched TV and played games while in the game room. They were all having a great time today! Wendy glanced at her oldest brother a few times. She noticed the smile on his face whenever he'd talk to Jasmine. Wendy watched again as Ludwig smiled. She chuckled softly and went back to looking at her phone.

Later on, after Tiana and Jasmine headed home, the kids left the game room and went to their own rooms. Wendy let out a sigh as she shut her door and sat on her bed. She stared at her floor.

"I know Ludwig likes Jasmine. Why won't he admit it already?"

Wendy sighed again and lay down on her bed. Not knowing what else to do right now, she pulled her phone out of her shell and scrolled through her photos.

The next day, Jasmine returned to the Koopa Kingdom and greeted everyone when she found them in the living room.

"Hey!" Roy said.

The others said hello or hi to her. Jasmine sat down next to Ludwig, which made the oldest Koopaling smile. As she looked around at everyone, Jasmine noticed one Koopa missing.

"Hey. Where's Tiana?"

Iggy frowned. "Tia and her family are busy today, so she can't hang out."

"Aw, that's too bad." Jasmine said. "I wanted to draw with her."

"You can draw with me!" Bowser Jr. replied.

Jasmine smiled. "Sure!"

While everyone else watched TV, Jasmine and Junior drew. Junior smiled widely when he saw Jasmine's drawing. It was a drawing of himself! Jasmine glanced over at Bowser Jr.'s drawing. It was of a large Koopa who had the same dark brown skin as Morton. He also had black hair and a large gray star on his face.

"Is that Morton as an adult?" Jasmine wondered.

Bowser Jr. laughed. "No, that's not Morty! That's Grandpa Morton!"

"Grandpa Morton?" Jasmine repeated.

Morton looked over at Junior's drawing. "Wow, that looks great, Junior!" Morton then looked at Jasmine. "Morton Sr. was our grandfather. He was the king of the Koopa Kingdom before Dad."

"That's so cool!" Jasmine said.

Iggy smiled softly. "King Morton was a great king and grandfather."

"Now that I think about it," Jasmine glanced down at the drawing once again, "I kinda remember seeing a painting of him before."

As Jasmine thought about the paintings that she saw, her mind went back to one painting. A painting of a Koopa with amber-colored hair that caught her attention.

Jasmine then asked, "Hey. Who was King Obsidian? His painting stuck out to me that day when I saw it."

The Koopalings and Bowser Jr. stopped what they were doing. Iggy and Ludwig tensed up. Their reactions made Jasmine confused. What was up with them?

"What's wrong?" Jasmine asked them.

Ludwig cleared his throat. "King Obsidian wasn't a good king."

Jasmine replied, "Really? What did he do?"

Iggy said, "He started an internal war."

Jasmine let out a gasp. "What? Why?"

Ludwig responded, "You've seen all of the Koopas who live here, right? Well, many years ago, there used to be others. Ones who resembled us Dragon Koopas."

Jasmine gasped again. "Wait. I… I think I've seen one while helping Mario and Luigi before! That Koopa had light blue skin and pink fins on its arms and tail."

Ludwig smiled. "Yes! That was a Sea Koopa!"

Wendy sat her phone on her lap. "Like Ludwig said, they used to live here with us."

Junior then said, "And the Para Koopas and Crystal Koopas!"

"Para and Crystal Koopas?" Jasmine repeated.

Morton stated, "Both look like us Dragon Koopas too, but the Para Koopas have wings like the Koopa Paratroopas, and instead of spikes, the Crystal Koopas have crystals on their shells."

"Wow." Jasmine replied. "So, why did King Obsidian start the war?"

Roy then spoke up. "He only wanted Dragon Koopas to live here and hated the others."

Larry added, "So, Obsidian started the Great Koopa War. Or, the Shellsplit." Larry continued, "The other Koopas left and formed their own kingdoms, but he kept groups like the Koopa Troopas, Hammer Bros., and Magikoopas here to work in the castle."

"Until a few years ago." Wendy said. "Before Junior was born, the Sea Koopas reached out to us and the Para Koopas, wanting peace. So, now we visit their kingdoms and they visit ours!"

"That's great! What about the Crystal Koopas?" Jasmine wondered.

Iggy frowned. "We don't know where they are."

"Really?" asked Jasmine.

Iggy nodded. "Yeah. But, I believe that they're still out there somewhere."

Junior dropped his crayon, now finished his drawing. "Alright! This is one of my best drawings ever!"

Jasmine giggled. "You're right, Junior."

As she went back to her drawing, Jasmine reflected on what the Koopas just told her.

"I can't believe King Obsidian did all of that. I wonder if they'll ever meet the Crystal Koopas in person."

I'll work on the next chapter soon!

Kart Racing

Hi! Finally I'm able to post this chapter. I hope you all enjoy it :3

Two weeks later, Jasmine was sitting in Peach's castle with the others.

"I'm so excited to race with everyone!" Daisy exclaimed.

Peach laughed. "Me too!" She looked over at the bespectacled girl next to Daisy. "Do you want to race too, Jasmine?"

"Uh…"

Jasmine began to think about everything that happens during Mario Kart. There were pits that you could fall in. Then there was the items that they used. Like Bob-Ombs and the lightning.

Chuckling nervously, Jasmine replied, "Oh, um, I don't think I'm ready to try that. I think I'll watch and cheer you guys on this time."

Peach then remarked, "Oh, I almost forgot! I have to invite Bowser and the rest of his children!"

Jasmine thought to herself, "Y'know, I wonder why Peach invites Bowser, even though he kidnaps her all the time."

Bowser, Clawdia, and their children were preparing for the race a week later. Bowser, Bowser Jr., Roy, Iggy, and Ludwig were racing today, which made the other kids groan or whine that they had to sit and watch. They boarded the airship and took off.

As they sat and waited to get to the Mushroom Kingdom, Lemmy spoke up. "I wonder if Jasmine will be there."

Hearing that made Ludwig's heart race and had his stomach in knots.

"Why am I feeling like this? I was fine a second ago." Ludwig wondered.

"Are you alright, Ludwig?" Wendy asked.

Ludwig replied, "I-I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" Larry asked. "'Cause I can take your place if you feel sick."

Ludwig glared at him. "I'm alright. I probably need to lay down for a while."

Jasmine sat in between Toad and Yoshi in Mario Kart Stadium as everyone waited for all of the racers to line up. Everyone also talked and grabbed their snacks while they waited for the race to begin.

"Are you excited, Jasmine?" Toad asked.

"Yep!" Jasmine answered. "I wonder who's gonna win this one."

"I think Mario's gonna win!" Toad said after taking a sip of his soda.

Then, the crowd began to cheer as the racers lined up. As she looked around at everyone, Jasmine saw some familiar faces.

"Oh yeah! Peach invited Bowser and the others."

Toad replied, "Yep. It's still kinda weird to me that the princess invites them to play games."

Ludwig and the others sat at the starting line, waiting for the race to begin. He looked around and saw his mother and the rest of his siblings to his left. They were cheering along with everyone else. He then looked to his right to see the rest of the crowd. As he looked at them, his eyes fell on his new friend.

"She's here." Ludwig whispered.

Jasmine's gaze met Ludwig's and she gave the Koopaling a smile. Ludwig's face turned red and his heart raced again. He quickly looked away.

"Ugh! I need to calm down and focus!" Ludwig thought to himself.

Ludwig inhaled deeply and watched as the Lakitu flew down to everyone. When they got the signal, the crowd erupted in cheers as the race finally began. Jasmine looked at the large screen to watch the race. Mario was in first place, but Daisy hurled a red shell at him, landing Mario in fourth place.

Toad cried out, "Oh no! I hope Mario can make it back to first!"

The camera then showed Ludwig, who was in twelfth place.

"Aw, poor Ludwig." Jasmine muttered.

They watched as he hit an item block. Ludwig got a blue shell and threw it, hitting Daisy. The racers were now in the second lap and Luigi was in first place. Mario, Peach, and Daisy ended up in ninth, eleventh, and twelfth place while Toadette, Waluigi, and the Koopas were making their way to the front. Ludwig hit another item block and got a Bullet Bill. Using the Bullet Bill, Ludwig made it to first place.

"Alright!" Jasmine cheered.

Everyone made it to the final lap and Ludwig was still in the lead. He hit an item block and got a banana peel. Ludwig held onto it in case a shell was thrown at him. In the middle of the final lap, Roy threw a green shell at Ludwig, but the banana peel blocked it. Iggy and Bowser Jr. caught up to them. Bowser Jr. drove past Ludwig and made it to first place, but Ludwig got another red shell and threw it at him.

Ludwig was back in first place and was getting closer to the finish line. Iggy threw a green shell, but it missed Ludwig. Finally, Ludwig crossed the finish line, winning the race.

"What?!" Toad and Yoshi exclaimed.

"Woohoo!" Jasmine cheered.

Ludwig won all four races and everyone congratulated him. Peach decided to have a party at her castle to celebrate. Everyone was having a good time dancing and talking.

"I can't believe I lost to Ludwig and didn't get the trophy!" Junior whined.

Ludwig rolled his eyes and glanced down at his gold trophy. He then heard a voice say, "Congratulations!"

Ludwig looked up to see Jasmine standing in front of him. He smiled at her and said, "Oh, thank you, Jasmine."

Jasmine replied, "I really enjoyed watching you out there. You were great!"

Ludwig felt his face getting hot and he smiled sheepishly. "Oh, I don't think I was that good…"

Jasmine said, "Well, I think you were." which made Ludwig blush again.

"Jasmine! Come over here for a second!" Daisy called out.

Jasmine smiled at Ludwig. "Well, I guess I'll see you later."

She turned around and began to walk away. But then, Ludwig grabbed her hand.

"Hm?" Jasmine turned to look at Ludwig.

"Jasmine, I…" Ludwig trailed off.

Jasmine asked, "Yes, Ludwig?"

Finally, Ludwig said, "I… I want to hang out with you again."

"Oh, me too. But I'm not sure if I'll be able to sneak over to the Koopa Kingdom tomorrow." Jasmine replied.

Ludwig noticed the hesitation in Jasmine's voice, but he didn't question it. He gave her a smile and said, "That's ok. We can still talk to each other on the phone."

Jasmine smiled. "Right! Well, I'll see ya later!"

Jasmine gently let go of Ludwig's hand and made her way over to Daisy. Ludwig watched her and sighed once she was out of sight.

That's it for now :D

Hesitation

I was too tired to write yesterday, but here's the next chapter :D

"Are you able to hang out?"

Ludwig sent the text and waited for Jasmine to respond. Two minutes later, his phone dinged. Ludwig picked it up and opened Jasmine's message.

"Sorry. I've got so much homework I need to finish."

"Ok." Ludwig responded back.

Jasmine sighed and placed her phone next to her on the bed. Right now, she's hone alone and only had one homework assignment to do.

Jasmine frowned and whispered to herself, "I don't think I can do this. What if Mario and the others find out? I don't know what to do! I can't get attached to…"

Jasmine's phone dinged and she grabbed it. She saw that she had a text from her dad.

"We're on our way home." David said.

Jasmine replied back, "Ok."

She sighed again and went back to doing her homework.

A week went by and the Koopalings and Junior don't see Jasmine in person. As they sat in the game room, Junior looked up from his painting.

"Why hasn't Jasmine visited the Koopa Kingdom?" Bowser Jr. wondered.

Ludwig sighed and looked at his baby brother. "Jasmine's been very busy lately."

Pouting, Junior replied, "Maybe she doesn't want to hang out with us anymore."

"That's not true." Wendy stated. "I'm sure Jasmine will visit soon."

"I hope you're right, Wendy." Ludwig thought.

Another week went by and the Koopa children don't see Jasmine again. Ludwig sat in the game room, watching his siblings play video games and board games. He smiled as Bowser Jr. cheered after winning the board game.

Roy grumbled, "How did we lose to a little kid?"

Junior giggled. "I'm just awesome!"

Ludwig chuckled at that, but then, he frowned. His thoughts returned to Jasmine. Was she ok? Was she busy right now? Did… did they do something to upset her?

Ludwig shook those thoughts away. "No. She's alright."

He pulled out his phone and immediately found Jasmine's messages. He then sent Jasmine a text.

"Hey. What are you up to?"

Jasmine doesn't respond, which made Ludwig's frown deepen. After ten minutes went by, Jasmine finally replied back to him.

"Sorry! Busy helping my grandparents clean."

Ludwig smiled slightly and said, "That's fine. I'll talk to you later."

Ludwig sighed as he put his phone away. He understood that Jasmine is busy, but, for some strange reason, Ludwig felt… rejected. The feeling made him confused, but he tried to push that feeling aside.

The following day, Jasmine was walking home from school and listening to music on her phone. She smiled, feeling great that she passed her math test. Jasmine looked down at her phone when it dinged. She saw that she had a text from Ludwig.

"How are you doing, Jasmine?"

Jasmine replied back, "I'm ok."

"That's good." Ludwig sent another message. "Junior really wants to see you."

Smiling, Jasmine responded back, "Aww. I'll try to visit soon."

Jasmine placed her phone in her pocket and sighed.

"I'm so dumb for feeling and acting like this." She thought. "I mean, I'm friends with Ludwig and the others now."

Jasmine let out another sigh once she arrived at her house. After unlocking the door, she walked inside.

That's it for now! I'm gonna be babysitting my nephew again this weekend, so idk if I'll be able to work on the next chapter or not

Ludwig's Plan

Hi! My nephew should still be coming over this weekend, so I wanted to work on this chapter before he does.

Jasmine went to her room and sat down on her bed. She took out her binder and began her English homework. She put on some music to listen to while she worked. As she answered the forth question, Jasmine's mind went back to Ludwig. She really did feel bad for not hanging out with the Koopas lately.

She said to herself, "And I was in the Mushroom Kingdom for a bit yesterday!" She sighed. "I just… I dunno. Ever since I made that drawing of Ludwig, I felt… It's so weird. I haven't had this feeling in a while."

Another week went by and Jasmine still doesn't visit the Koopa Kingdom. Ludwig sighed as he put his phone in his shell. Jasmine had told him that she was busy studying for a few tests, so she couldn't visit.

Ludwig stared out of his bedroom window and whispered, "I want to see her so badly! But… why?"

Ludwig began to picture Jasmine in his mind. He let out another sigh, this one happier. He thought about her long black hair, beautiful brown eyes and chestnut skin, and her black glasses, which he believed enhanced her beauty.

Ludwig gasped and his cheeks grew warm.

"No… I can't be!" He whispered to himself.

Ludwig walked over to his desk and picked up a pencil. He grabbed some sheet music and began to work on a song, trying to distract himself from that thought.

After that, another week went by. Jasmine now hasn't visited them in three weeks.

"I wish Jasmine wasn't so busy…" Bowser Jr. grumbled.

Iggy chuckled and said, "She'll hang out with us soon."

Ludwig stood and left the game room. He made his way to the ballroom and sat down at his piano. He began to play his new song. Ludwig smiled to himself as he played. Then, he remembered Jasmine's text from yesterday. She stated that she wasn't able to visit again.

He stopped playing the piano and thought about that for a moment. "Hm. I wonder…"

His phone vibrated five minutes later. Ludwig pulled it out of his shell to see that Jasmine was video calling him. Smiling, he answered her call.

"Hello." Ludwig greeted her.

"Hi!" Jasmine replied. "I have a few minutes to talk."

"That's good." Ludwig then chuckled. "Junior still wants to see you."

Jasmine giggled (which made Ludwig's heart flutter) and said, "I'll visit again one day."

Ludwig's smile faltered. He looked at Jasmine and asked, "Jasmine, is there another reason why you haven't been spending time with us?"

Jasmine tensed up a little bit. "Uh… w-well."

"…Is it because of the Mario Bros?" Ludwig finally asked.

Jasmine hesitated again. Slowly, she answered, "Yes."

It was half true, anyways.

Ludwig smiled a little. Then, he gasped.

"What is it?" Jasmine asked.

Ludwig responded, "The reason you aren't coming over is because of those plumbers."

Jasmine slowly nodded.

Ludwig smiled slyly (which made Jasmine's heart beat faster) and asked, "When do you think you'll be back in the Mushroom World?"

Jasmine adjusted her glasses. "Hopefully tomorrow."

Then, Ludwig asked, "What if I come to the Mushroom Kingdom and "kidnap" you? That way, you can hang out with us and those idiot plumbers won't suspect anything."

Jasmine thought it over. She did miss hanging out in Bowser's castle with Junior and the Koopalings. Especially Ludwig. She also felt bad for making excuses to not visit a few times. Then, she smiled. Ludwig was willing to look like the villain so she doesn't have to.

Finally, Jasmine said, "You know what? That sounds like a great idea! Let's try it!"

Ludwig grinned. "Ok! I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Alright!" Jasmine replied.

After saying goodbye, Ludwig and Jasmine hung up. Ludwig giggled as he put his phone away. He then went back to playing the piano.

I'll work on this story again next week!

Truth or Dare

Hi! I was too tired to post yesterday, so here's the next chapter :D

Jasmine was playing baseball with her friends in Peach Garden the next day. She was still new to the game, but she got help from Mario and Daisy and took their advice. Mario threw the ball and Jasmine hit it. She gasped, getting a home run.

"Alright, Jasmine!" Daisy cheered.

The crowd cheered as Jasmine ran the bases.

"This is so much fun!" exclaimed Jasmine.

Mario smiled as he looked around. Today was a really nice day. It was perfect for any sport, but his friends agreed on playing baseball since they haven't played in a while. Everyone was having a great time. Nothing could ruin this day in his eyes!

As the game went on, everyone froze when they heard a laugh coming from above the stadium.

Peach glanced over at Daisy, who also looked confused. "Huh?"

Everyone in the stadium gasped when they looked up. Above them in his Koopa Clown Car was Ludwig von Koopa.

"I almost forgot about Luddy's plan!" Jasmine thought to herself. "I wonder if it'll work."

Jasmine took a deep breath as she readied herself for Ludwig's next move. She gasped as Ludwig flew towards her. When he got closer, Ludwig grabbed Jasmine's arm.

"H-Huh?!"

Mario shouted, "Hey! Put her down!"

Ludwig ignored Mario and placed Jasmine inside of the Clown Car. The Koopaling laughed as he flew away with the human girl.

"Oh no!" Peach exclaimed. "We have to go save her!"

Mario nodded. "You're right."

The baseball game now cancelled, everyone made their way out of Peach Garden.

Ludwig looked over at Jasmine and asked, "I didn't hurt you, did I?"

Jasmine smiled. "Nah, I'm alright."

A little while later, Jasmine noticed that they were getting closer to the castle.

"I'm sure Mario and his friends are on their way to get you." Ludwig remarked.

Jasmine replied, "Yeah. I really hope they don't hurt you too badly."

Ludwig gave her a smile as he landed the Clown Car in front of Bowser's castle. After hopping out, he helped Jasmine out of the Clown Car.

Eventually, Ludwig said, "I'll be fine."

The two then walked inside of the castle. Bowser Jr. rounded the corner and let out a gasp when he spotted them. The youngest Koopa ran up to Jasmine and embraced her tightly.

"Jasmine! You're finally back!" He said.

Jasmine hugged him back. "Hehe yeah! I'm sorry it took me so long to visit." Jasmine then chuckled. "You should thank Ludwig for "kidnapping" me."

Junior let go of Jasmine and pouted. He then began to whine. "Aw. Now we have to deal with those plumbers!"

"Don't worry. They won't be here for a while." Jasmine reassured him.

Ludwig added, "And I'll deal with them myself since I'm the one who took her."

Junior smiled at Jasmine. "Well, since you're here, let's play a game!"

"Alright!"

Later on, Jasmine and the Koopas played a few video games and board games together. They were currently playing one of Larry's board games. The game was almost over and Larry was close to winning. Bowser Jr. growled as he stared at the game pieces.

"Ugh! I'm tired of playing this stupid game!"

Larry replied, "You're just saying that 'cause you're losing."

Junior rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Let's play something else."

Larry also rolled his eyes and grumbled as he began to put the game and the pieces away.

"Well, what should we play next?" Jasmine asked.

Everyone sat there and began to think. They've played Mario Kart, Smash Bros., and a couple board games. What else could they play?

"Well, we haven't played Truth or Dare in so long." Wendy suggested.

Jasmine replied, "Oh, that sounds fun! I haven't played that in a while either!"

"I'm not playing that!" Ludwig mumbled.

Wendy whined, "Oh, yes you are! Or I'm telling Daddy you won't play with us!"

Ludwig rolled his eyes and sighed. He groaned and said, "Fine. Let's get this over with…"

"Yuck! I can't believe you made me eat dog food, Roy!" Bowser Jr. whined.

The group had been playing Truth or Dare for some time now. Some dares that they had to do were funny, while the truths that they answered were pretty straightforward.

Roy laughed at his baby brother and replied, "Hahaha! I didn't think you'd actually do it!"

"It's your turn, Junior." Jasmine remarked.

"Alright." He looked at Wendy. "Wendy, truth or dare?"

"Hmm. Truth." Wendy answered.

Junior asked her, "Do you have a favorite brother?"

All of the boys looked at Wendy, anticipating her answer.

Eventually, Wendy responded, "No. You guys are really annoying most of the time."

Some of the boys rolled their eyes at her.

Junior said, "Fine. It's your turn."

"Alright." Wendy looked around at everyone. She then asked, "Ludwig, truth or dare?"

Sighing, Ludwig replied, "Dare, I guess…"

"Hmm. What should I have you do…?" Wendy wondered.

Wendy began to ponder. A few seconds later, Junior glanced over at her.

"Hurry up, stupid!" He yelled.

Wendy shouted back, "Shut up, Junior! I'm thinking!"

Jasmine chuckled at their exchange. Wendy's eyes landed on Jasmine, who was sitting next to Ludwig.

Smirking, Wendy finally said, "Ludwig, I dare you to kiss Jasmine!"

Ludwig and Jasmine looked at each other. Ludwig's face began to turn red.

Ludwig asked, "Uh… can I pick truth instead?"

"No!" Wendy replied. "You can't change it."

Larry giggled. "Aww. I think Luddy's scared."

Ludwig gave his younger brother a fierce look. "Don't call me that!"

"Seriously?" Iggy asked. "We still can't call you that, but you let Jasmine do it!"

"Right! There's nothing wrong with the nickname, Ludwig!" Lemmy said.

Wendy looked at them. "Guys, we're getting off topic."

Larry snorted. "I don't think he's gonna do it, Wendy. I think Ludwig's afrai—"

Larry stopped talking when Ludwig pulled Jasmine a little closer.

Jasmine looked at him. "Lu—"

Ludwig leaned in and kissed Jasmine, cutting her off. Jasmine's eyes widened, but she kissed him back. The others were speechless (with the exception of Junior, who was pretending to throw up) as the two kissed. Ludwig deepened the kiss and ran his fingers through Jasmine's black hair.

"Uh, Ludwig?" Wendy said. He nor Jasmine heard her and continued to kiss. Finally, Wendy yelled, "Ludwig!"

Ludwig and Jasmine stopped kissing and looked away, blushing.

Laughing, Roy said, "Jeez, she said kiss her. Not make out with her."

Wendy scratched the back of her head. "Um… I guess we can stop playing now."

Ludwig squirmed, still looking away.

Later on, Ludwig and Jasmine were in the ballroom. Jasmine asked him if she could hear one of his songs. He nodded, while avoiding looking at Jasmine.

Jasmine looked at the time and said, "Mario and the others should be here soon."

"Y-Yeah…" Ludwig replied. Once again, he was trying not to look at her.

His cheeks were a little red as he thought about what he did. Why in the world did he kiss her for so long!? Why didn't he just give her a quick kiss or something?! That whole situation was just… so embarrassing!

"Ludwig." Ludwig finally looked at Jasmine after she called his name.

"Hm?"

Jasmine replied, "Are you alright? You've been acting strange since we stopped playing Truth or Dare."

"…I'm fine." Ludwig whispered.

He continued to play the piano.

"Ludwig…" Jasmine placed a hand on his arm. Once he stopped playing and looked at her, Jasmine continued. "Ludwig, are you acting strange because of the kiss?"

She got her answer when Ludwig looked away.

Jasmine then stated, "You don't have to be embarrassed, Luddy. Honestly… I liked it."

Jasmine felt her face growing warm after saying that.

"R-Really?" Ludwig asked.

Jasmine nodded. Both of them were silent for a few minutes. Their minds went back to the kiss. It was actually really nice.

"I really did like it…" They both thought.

They then heard the ballroom door opening. They turned to see a Koopa Troopa with long blonde hair entering the ballroom and walking over to them.

"Prince Ludwig, Mario and his friends have arrived." She said.

Ludwig answered, "Alright, Angel. I'm on my way."

Angel then bowed and left the ballroom.

"Where should I wait?" Jasmine wondered.

"In the game room." said Ludwig.

Jasmine nodded and they both stood up. Before they left, Jasmine hesitated for a moment, which made Ludwig raise an eyebrow. Jasmine turned around, leaned over, and gave Ludwig a kiss on the cheek.

"Good luck, Luddy."

Jasmine smiled, turned back around, and made her way to the game room. Ludwig watched her as she left. He stood there frozen as his face grew hot and his heart raced. Ludwig placed a hand over his heart.

"What is this feeling…?" He thought.

Ludwig snapped out of it and left the ballroom to find Mario and the others.

I'll try to work on the next chapter tomorrow!

Distracted

I hope you all like this chapter :)

"Are you alright, Jasmine?" Mario asked as they left Bowser's castle.

Jasmine replied, "Oh, I'm fine."

"Was it just me, or did our fight with Ludwig seem… easy?" Daisy pondered.

"Hmm, now that you mention it, he did seem a little distracted." Luigi said.

Peach smiled. "Well, I'm glad they didn't harm you, Jasmine."

As they continued on their journey back to the Mushroom Kingdom, Jasmine began to think.

"I never thought Ludwig would get distracted during a battle. Is he still thinking about the kiss? Oh no! Maybe he was thinking about the kiss on the cheek that I gave him! Oh, I hope he's alright."

"Ugh, I'm in so much pain…" Ludwig groaned.

The eldest Koopaling entered his room and collapsed onto his bed. He he sighed as he stared at the ceiling.

"Why couldn't I focus during the fight? I would've done way better than just now."

Ludwig closed his eyes, trying to take a nap. While laying there, he began to get lost in his thoughts. All of his thoughts were on Jasmine.

"Why is she on my mind so much?" Ludwig wondered. "And why does my heart race when I'm around her, or even when I'm thinking about her?" Ludwig sighed. He then said, "And the blushing. It's almost like I—"

Ludwig stopped his sentence, his face turning red.

Ludwig then whispered, "No, that can't be right. I don't… have feelings for Jasmine. We're just friends."

He closed his eyes again and tried to fall asleep.

A week later, Bowser summoned his children to the throne room. He wanted to discuss his new scheme to kidnap Peach and take over the Mushroom Kingdom.

Bowser began by saying, "So, this is what we'll do…"

As Bowser went on, Ludwig began to zone out.

"I wonder what Jasmine is up to right now. At least she doesn't have to sit through this meeting."

Ludwig continued to zone out as the meeting went on. As he did though, he didn't hear his father calling his name. Ludwig then felt something hit him on the head.

"Ow!" Ludwig yelled.

Ludwig looked up to see that Roy had punched him like before. Bowser looked at the oldest Koopaling with an annoyed expression.

"Ludwig, I've been calling your name for a few minutes." Bowser remarked.

Ludwig rubbed his head. "I'm sorry, Dad."

"You've been spacing out a lot lately." Morton stated.

Bowser looked at Ludwig and asked, "Is there something on your mind?"

Iggy then snickered. "Or maybe someone."

The rest of the kids laughed at that.

Ludwig's face got redder as he asked Iggy, "W-What are you implying?"

Larry said, "C'mon, Ludwig. It's pretty obvious that you love Jasmine."

Wendy added, "Right! You do blush a lot whenever she's around." Wendy giggled. "Or even when she's not around!"

Roy then laughed. "Don't forget what happened during Truth or Dare. That's still hilarious!"

"DON'T BRING THAT UP!" shouted Ludwig, his face still red.

Bowser then cleared his throat. "Let's get back to my plan."

The kids groaned, but listened to Bowser talk.

Ludwig thought to himself, "They're wrong. That can't be why I'm like this."

The next day, Jasmine said goodbye to Peach and the Mario Bros. as she left Peach's castle. As she walked through Toad Town, she looked around before leaving the kingdom.

"I gotta go there on my own." Jasmine whispered to herself. "I was being stupid before. I can't just avoid my new friends because of…"

Jasmine sighed and shook her head.

Ludwig entered the ballroom and walked over to his piano. Once he sat down, he began to play one of his songs. As he played, Ludwig began to think back to what his siblings said yesterday.

"They can be so annoying." He muttered.

Ludwig then heard a familiar voice say, "Hi, Ludwig!"

Ludwig turned to see Jasmine standing next to him.

"Oh hello, Jasmine." He greeted. "What are you doing here?"

Jasmine replied, "I was hanging out with Peach and the Bros. a while ago and, well, I wanted to sneak over here this time instead of having you "kidnap" me again."

Ludwig chuckled. "Ok. I'll still "kidnap" you though if you need me to."

Jasmine laughed. "Great!" Then, she asked, "Can I listen to you play?"

"Of course."

Ludwig scooted over so that she could sit next to him. He then played another song. Ludwig closed his eyes as he played. Jasmine glanced at him and smiled softly as she listened to the song.

The next chapter will hopefully be up tomorrow!

Jealousy

Here's the next chapter!

Jasmine clapped as Ludwig's song came to a close. She gave him a smile.

"Your songs are so amazing, Luddy!" She said.

Ludwig blushed. "Thank you." He cleared his throat. "So, what would you like to do now?"

Jasmine replied, "We can go join the others in the game room."

Ludwig nodded and they stood up. They then left the ballroom. When they arrived in the game room, the others greeted them as they walked inside. Ludwig and Jasmine took a seat on the couch. Then, Iggy walked over to Jasmine, a huge grin on his face.

"Hey, Jasmine! You know where you haven't been before in the castle? Our lab!"

Jasmine beamed. "Oh! That sounds fun!"

Roy rushed over to them and said, "No way! Forget his Egghead Lair! You should check out the gym!"

"Huh? But… I want her to stay with me." Ludwig thought.

Jasmine smiled at Iggy and Roy. "Guys, it's ok! I can look at both with you."

"Alright!" Iggy grabbed Jasmine's hand. "C'mon, Jasmine! Let's head to the lab first!"

Jasmine looked back at Ludwig. "Oh. I guess I'll talk to ya later, Luddy!"

After that, Iggy and Jasmine bolted out of the game room. Roy hurried behind them.

"Hey! Wait up! She needs to see the gym first!"

Ludwig sat there, staring at the floor. "Why do I feel weird about her hanging out with them? She can talk to the others if she wants."

When Wendy looked away from the TV, her eyes landed on Ludwig. She noticed him staring at the floor, deep in thought.

"Hm." Wendy then looked back at the TV.

Jasmine gasped as she, Iggy, and Roy entered the large lab. "Wow!"

Just like most areas in the castle, the walls were gray. The lights and the windows thankfully brightened up the room. Jasmine saw a few lab tables, some having test tubes and beakers filled with different colored liquids sitting on top of them. Jasmine saw many different machines around the lab, varying in size and shape. A few blueprints slid off of a desk, landing on the floor next to a toolbox.

Iggy grinned. "Amazing, right? A lot of these were made by Ludwig, but I've made my own inventions!"

Jasmine looked at Iggy. "Ludwig really made his own inventions?"

"Yep." Roy replied.

Iggy added, "He used to make them when he was younger, but they would always break." He adjusted his glasses. "Ludwig would create inventions and make symphonies, but he moved on to focus on his music more instead of inventing. But, he sometimes helps me out with my own inventions."

"Wow! That's cool! You guys are really smart!" Jasmine replied.

Iggy giggled. "Thanks!" He then said, "Lately, I've been working on machines for the kidnapping missions, but once I'm finished with those, I wanna make something interesting. Like a dream projector!"

Roy then rolled his eyes. "Alright. I think we've spent enough time here." He smirked at Jasmine. "Now, lemme show ya the gym. You'll see why I'm the strongest out of us!"

Iggy rolled his eyes at his older brother while Jasmine giggled. They then followed Roy out of the lab and made their way to the castle gym.

Later that evening after Jasmine left, the royal Koopa family sat in the dining hall, eating their dinner. While everyone ate and talked to each other, Ludwig began to zone out.

"Ludwig?"

Ludwig snapped out of it after hearing Bowser call his name. "Yes?"

"Are you ok? You were spacing out again." Bowser remarked.

Ludwig replied, "Oh, I'm alright."

After taking a sip of her drink, Wendy said, "Hm. You seemed weird when Jasmine was here."

Ludwig's body stiffened.

Wendy continued. "You looked fine until Roy and Iggy wanted to hang out with her."

"…I don't know what you're talking about." Ludwig mumbled. He took a bite of his steak.

"Wait a minute. Were you jealous, Luddy?" Iggy asked, chuckling.

Ludwig responded, "Jealous? Of what? And don't call me that!"

Laughing, Roy said, "Admit it. You were jealous that she was with us and not you!"

Ludwig began to blush. "W-What? No…"

"Don't worry, Ludwig. I'm not interested." Iggy stated.

Roy added, "Yeah. She's cute, but I lost interest."

"Whatever…" Ludwig grumbled and continued to eat his dinner.

That's it for now! I'll work on the next chapter next week!

Meringue Clouds

I hope you all enjoy this chapter :3

A few days later, Ludwig and his siblings agreed on showing Jasmine around their other castles one-on-one each day she visited. Jasmine really enjoyed looking around the different worlds, seeing everyone who lived there and how unique the worlds were. She also liked seeing the insides of the castles and how each Koopaling decorated them. Today, Jasmine was going to look around Meringue Clouds and see the inside of Ludwig's castle. Instead of wearing her usual blue shirt, jeans, and black shoes, Jasmine wore a blue shirt, a black skirt, and black pumps.

"Bye, guys!" Jasmine said to her family as she made her way downstairs.

Alvin smiled and waved. "Bye, Jazzy!"

Jasmine walked out of her house and made her way to the park.

Ludwig was in his room brushing his hair. He set his brush down when he was finished and looked at his reflection in the mirror. His heart raced in excitement and nervousness as he thought about Meringue Clouds. Ludwig looked down at his hands and noticed that he was shaking. He growled as he picked up his wand.

"Why do I feel nervous? I need to calm down…" He said to himself.

Jasmine emerged from the pipe and smiled as she saw the tall mushroom platforms around her. She looked ahead, seeing Ludwig standing next to a red mushroom platform in his human disguise, waiting for her.

"Hi, Ludwig!" Jasmine greeted as she walked up to the disguised Koopaling.

Ludwig's face grew hot as he took in Jasmine's appearance.

"Wow… you look pretty." He said, his face still warm.

Jasmine blushed and smiled at him. "Oh, thanks, Luddy."

"I was kinda hoping he'd like it."

"Are you ready?" Ludwig asked her.

"Yes!"

After that, the two walked away from the tall mushrooms. They then snuck through the Mushroom Kingdom.

Jasmine whispered to him, "Did you bring your Clown Car?"

Ludwig answered, "Yeah. It's hidden in a bush."

Before they could get close to the bush, they heard a voice calling out to Jasmine.

"Hiya, Jasmine!"

The two turned around to see Toad and Toadette running toward her.

Jasmine smiled at them and remarked, "Oh, hi guys!"

"It's great to see you again!" Toad said. He and Toadette then noticed the person standing next to her. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know you brought a friend with you."

"Oh! Right! I brought him here to look around the kingdom!" Jasmine quickly replied.

After a few seconds of silence, Toad said, "You know, he kinda looks familiar."

Toadette added, "You're right, Toad. I think it's the hair."

"I'm not from around here." Ludwig lied. "I'm from New York too."

Smiling, Toadette replied, "Ah. Well, I hope you like the Mushroom Kingdom as much as we do!"

"Yeah! We'll see ya later, Jasmine!" Toad said.

Jasmine waved to the two Toads as they walked away. Once they were farther away, Jasmine let out a sigh of relief. "That was close."

"I don't think anyone's looking. We can go to the Clown Car now." Ludwig whispered.

"Alright." Jasmine said and followed Ludwig.

The two finally made it to the bush where Ludwig's Clown Car was hiding. While no one was looking, they got inside and the two took off for Meringue Clouds.

Ludwig and Jasmine quickly reached Meringue Clouds and Ludwig landed the Clown Car. Jasmine looked around.

"Wow, this place is so breathtaking in person! Just like the others!" Jasmine exclaimed.

Ludwig helped Jasmine out of the Clown Car. "I'll give you a tour."

Jasmine looked at him. "uh, Ludwig? Y'know you're still in your human disguise, right?"

Blushing, Ludwig replied, "Oh, I guess I forgot."

Jasmine looked at Ludwig, her heart racing. "Hmm. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think you look kinda cute as a human."

Ludwig and Jasmine both blushed. "Really?" asked Ludwig.

Jasmine replied, "Yeah. You look very handsome, but…" she looked down nervously at the clouds. "I think you look a lot cuter as a Koopa."

"Well then…" Ludwig grabbed his wand and turned himself back to normal. He smirked (but his heart fluttered) and asked, "Better?"

"Haha! Yeah!" Jasmine laughed.

Ludwig nervously took her hand. "Now, we can start the tour."

Jasmine waved to the Koopa Troopas, Koopa Paratroopas, Sledge Bros., and Rocky Wrenches that were outside. Everyone bowed down to Ludwig as he and Jasmine walked around.

"Wow! They really love and respect you, don't they?" Jasmine asked.

Sighing, Ludwig replied, "Yeah. It kinda makes me feel like a king."

Jasmine then asked, "But, you'll be the next king of Darkland, right?"

They stopped in their tracks. Ludwig stared at the clouds beneath their feet.

He sighed again and said, "Well, I'm not so sure anymore after Junior came along. I think Dad wants him to be the next king."

"Ludwig…" Jasmine knelt down to look at him. "I'm sure you'd be a great king! Who knows, maybe Bowser will surprise you and you'll be king of the Koopa Kingdom."

Jasmine gave him a comforting smile, which made Ludwig smile in return. "Yeah. Thank you, Jasmine."

Jasmine stood, took Ludwig's hand, and they continued walking through the cloud world.

Soon, the two made it to Ludwig's castle and walked inside. Jasmine smiled as she looked around. The floor was dark marble and reflected the candlelight. Blue banners hung around the walls, with Ludwig's emblem on them. Tall windows also surrounded the hall.

"Wow!" Jasmine whispered.

Ludwig smiled. "I knew you were going to like it!"

Ludwig showed Jasmine the throne room, the guest rooms, the Great Hall, and other areas. The Koopalings' castles weren't as huge as Bowser's, but they were just as wonderful.

"Your castle is amazing!" Jasmine exclaimed.

They then reached a large door in a different hallway.

"What room is this?" Jasmine asked.

Ludwig replied, "This room," he opened the door, "is the ballroom."

Once she walked inside, Jasmine gasped and looked around.

"Whoa! This ballroom is just as beautiful as the one in Bowser's castle!"

"Hehe, I'm glad you like it." Ludwig replied.

Jasmine walked around and looked at the pipe organ and the other instruments in the room.

Jasmine then said, "You know, it would be fun to have a dance here or in the other one."

"You think so?" Ludwig asked.

Jasmine grinned. "Yeah! Dressing up in beautiful outfits and dancing sounds fun!" She chuckled. "Or even just having a normal party."

Smirking, Ludwig said, "Hmm. I have an idea. Wait right here."

Jasmine tilted her head as she watched Ludwig leave the ballroom. Ludwig returned a few minutes later, along with a few Koopa Troopas and two Magikoopas.

"Ludwig? What's going on?" She wondered.

Ludwig blushed slightly and responded, "Jasmine, you and I are going to dance."

Jasmine's cheeks grew warm. "A-Are you serious?"

Ludwig nodded. He looked at the two Magikoopas and nodded to them. The Magikoopas then waved their wands. Magic surrounded Ludwig and Jasmine. Once it disappeared, the two looked at each other.

Ludwig now wore a shimmering royal blue cape with a white cravat. Jasmine wore a sparkling royal blue dress, light blue gloves, and a jasmine flower in her hair.

Jasmine stared at him. "Ludwig…"

The Koopa Troopas walked over to the instruments. Ludwig smiled at Jasmine and held out his hand.

"Jasmine, would you like to dance?" He asked.

After a second, Jasmine smiled and took his hand. "Yes!"

The Koopa Troopas began to play a song. Ludwig pulled Jasmine close to him and they started to dance.

"Wow… this is amazing!" Jasmine thought to herself.

"You look… beautiful, Jasmine." Ludwig remarked, making them both blush.

Smiling, Jasmine responded, "Thanks. And you look really handsome."

They continued to dance, listening to the beautiful music that the Koopa Troopas were playing.

Jasmine then said, "You're a really great dancer, Luddy!"

Ludwig smiled. "Thank you. You're very good too."

Soon the music ended and the two finished their dance. Ludwig and Jasmine smiled at each other as the others in the room clapped.

Jasmine cheered, "That was so much fun!"

"Yeah. I enjoyed it." Ludwig replied.

The Magikoopas cast another spell, getting rid of Ludwig's cape and cravat and Jasmine's dress, gloves, and flower, giving her her original outfit.

Jasmine and Ludwig hung out in his castle a little longer. They were currently in the living room, sitting on the couch and watching TV. As they watched the show, Jasmine began to get lost in her thoughts.

"Ludwig is really sweet. He didn't have to get the others together to play music for us and dance with me."

Jasmine's heart fluttered. A few minutes later, Jasmine fell asleep. Ludwig looked over at her with a soft smile on his face.

"She fell asleep. Jasmine looks so peaceful." Ludwig said as he gently stroked her hair.

I'll try to write again tomorrow!

Kiss in the Cave

Hope you all like this chapter!

Ludwig and Jasmine talked for a bit after Jasmine woke up from her nap. They glanced up at the clock on the wall and noticed that it was almost dinner time.

"I'll take you back to Brooklyn." Ludwig told her.

Jasmine replied, "Ok. I had so much fun with you, Luddy," which made Ludwig blush.

"I'm glad."

Jasmine adjusted her glasses. "I hope one of these days I can hang out with you guys again."

"I'm sure you will." Ludwig replied, smiling at her.

After Ludwig turned himself back into a human and they exiting the castle, he and Jasmine hopped inside of the Clown Car and flew in the direction of the Mushroom Kingdom. As they flew, Jasmine began to think.

"Wow. Ludwig really is cute as a human. But, I really do find him a lot cuter as a Koopa." Jasmine felt her face getting hot. "W-Why am I thinking about this!? It's almost like I—"

Jasmine didn't finish that thought, blushing more.

"I don't have feelings for…" Jasmine glanced at Ludwig and back at the ground. "…do I?"

Ludwig and Jasmine reached the Mushroom Kingdom. Ludwig landed the Clown Car behind a large tree and a few bushes. He and Jasmine climbed out of the Clown Car and made their way to the pipe. After climbing through the pipe, the two were back in the cave in the real world. Jasmine turned to face Ludwig.

"Well, I guess I'll hang out with you and the others another time."

"Yeah. I really like hanging out with you." Ludwig replied, making the two of them blush.

"Me too." Jasmine said.

The two stayed silent for a moment. Then, Jasmine hugged Ludwig. Smiling, Ludwig returned the hug. After that, they pulled away and stared at each other again. Ludwig then watched as Jasmine began to lean in closer.

"Uh, Jasm—"

Jasmine kissed Ludwig, cutting him off. It shocked him, but Ludwig quickly relaxed and kissed her back. He deepened the kiss and ran his fingers through Jasmine's hair. Two minutes later, Jasmine's eyes widened and she quickly pulled away from him, both of them blushing.

Ludwig looked at her, his face still red. "J-Jasmine?"

Jasmine covered her mouth with both hands and turned away from him. "I-I'm sorry, Ludwig! I don't know what made me do that!"

Ludwig walked around so that she could see him. "It's alright, Jasmine. You just surprised me."

Jasmine said, "I-I gotta go!"

Jasmine then took off.

"Jasmine, wait!" Ludwig called out to her.

Unfortunately, Jasmine didn't listen. She continued to run away. Frowning, Ludwig climbed back through the Warp Pipe.

Ludwig returned to the Koopa Kingdom, back as a Koopa. He arrived at the castle and walked inside. Iggy was walking nearby and noticed him. Smiling, he approached his oldest brother.

"Hey, Ludwig! So, did Jasmine like Meringue Clouds?"

Ludwig nodded and proceeded down the corridor. Iggy raised an eyebrow at Ludwig, sensing that something was wrong. He ran, catching up to him.

"Is everything ok?" He asked.

"Yes." Ludwig replied. "I'm just concerned about Jasmine."

"Huh? What's wrong with her?" Iggy wondered.

As they walked, Ludwig replied, "She's a little embarrassed because she… kissed me."

Iggy gasped. The rest of their siblings yelled from their rooms, "WHAAAT!?"

Bowser Jr. and the rest of the Koopalings burst out of their rooms and grabbed Ludwig. They carried him to the game room, with Iggy following close behind them. The others sat Ludwig down on the couch and stared at him in shock.

Bowser Jr. said, "Yuck! I can't believe you guys kissed again!"

"What made Jasmine kiss you?" asked Morton.

Ludwig exclaimed, "I don't know! She just… did it."

Wendy squealed and replied, "Oh, she definitely likes you!"

The others chuckled, agreeing with her.

Ludwig blushed. "What?! No, she… she just made a mistake."

Larry smirked. "Oh, I think she does! And you obviously like her!"

Ludwig's face was completely red now. "Leave me alone." He grumbled.

Smirking again, Larry said, "You didn't deny it."

Ludwig looked away, blushing deeper.

In New York, Jasmine sat on her bed, staring at the floor.

She whispered to herself, "Jasmine, what the heck!? Why did you kiss him? Why?! Oh my gosh…"

Her phone vibrated. She picked it up and saw that Ludwig had sent her a text. She nervously opened it.

"Please don't feel bad, Jasmine. It's fine."

Jasmine replied back, "Really?"

A minute later, Ludwig responded back. "Yes. If I'm being honest, I think you're a great kisser."

Jasmine blushed. She then texted back, "Oh." She sent another, saying, "Well, I think you are too."

"Thanks."

Jasmine placed her phone next to her and let out a sigh. She smiled to herself and giggled as she thought about the kiss.

I'll try to write again tomorrow!

Two Hearts, One Dream

Here's a new chapter! I hope you all like it!

Jasmine's parents were out the next day, and Alvin was with his parents. Jasmine sighed as she lay on the couch, alone in the house. She turned on the TV and watched a comedy movie. As she watched it, she started thinking about the Mushroom World and all of the people that she met there.

"It's still amazing to me that the Mushroom World really exists!"

Her mind then went to the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. Jasmine thought about all of the fun that they had together. Her mind went to Ludwig next. She thought about their first encounter when she was helping Mario and Luigi rescue Peach and Daisy. Jasmine was annoyed by him and Ludwig felt the same about her. But after spending time with and getting to know each other, they were now friends.

Jasmine smiled at that thought. She thought about the things that she and Ludwig have done, like having dinner with her family or dancing in Ludwig's ballroom. Jasmine giggled as she began to daydream about Ludwig.

Jasmine was back in Bowser's castle. She and Ludwig were in the outfits that they wore while dancing in Meringue Clouds. The two walked outside until they made it to a tree. Ludwig then reached into his shell and handed Jasmine a bouquet of jasmines and blue roses.

"Ludwig! These are beautiful!" Jasmine exclaimed.

Ludwig replied, "Not as beautiful as you," giving her a smirk.

Jasmine smiled at him and the two leaned in. Their faces got closer and closer until—

Jasmine opened her eyes, ending the daydream.

"W-What?!" Jasmine cried out.

Jasmine felt her heart racing and her face growing hot.

"…Why did I think about that?"

Jasmine looked at the movie again, realizing that she missed a few scenes.

She muttered to herself, "Seriously. What was that daydream about?"

As she thought it over, Jasmine's eyes grew wide. Jasmine thought about the way her heart flutters when she's around Ludwig and how she blushes whenever she thinks of him. Or even when he does something, even if it's simple. Jasmine shook her head.

"Oh my gosh. I… I'm in love with a Koopa! Ludwig von Koopa!"

Back in Bowser's castle, the Koopa family left the dining hall after breakfast. Since they didn't have a kidnapping mission today, they had the entire day to do whatever they wanted. Ludwig went to his room to work on a new song. For some reason, Ludwig wanted this new piece to sound like a love song. He sat down and began to write. As he did, his mind went back to Jasmine.

He still wasn't sure who she reminded him of, but he knew he'd figure it out soon. He then began to think about how they annoyed each other before and how they became friends. Ludwig chuckled to himself and continued writing. Then, he paused and began to daydream.

Ludwig and Jasmine smiled at each other as they sat at a table in a restaurant. They were currently on a date, having a great time. After eating their dinner, Ludwig and Jasmine left the restaurant to go to a musical. Jasmine turned to Ludwig and smiled.

Ludwig returned the smile and whispered, "What is it?"

Jasmine leaned in and gave him a kiss, making Ludwig blush.

Ludwig jolted out of his thoughts after that. His eyes widened.

"No…" He whispered.

Ludwig thought about Jasmine. He thought about her cute, pouty face when she didn't like what he said, her beautiful chestnut skin, how she looked adorable scrunching up her face at the mention of anchovies on pizza.

"Oh no." Ludwig whispered again. "Wendy and Larry were right! I'm in love with Jasmine!"

That's it for now!

The Magma Kingdom

Hi! I hope you like this chapter!

Ludwig stood and paced around his room. "I can't believe this! Oh my gosh! I can't believe this!"

Then, Ludwig heard a knock on the door.

"Ludwig? Can I come in?" He heard Wendy ask.

"Yes." Ludwig answered, his voice cracking.

After she opened the door, Wendy noticed the anxious expression on Ludwig's face.

"What's the matter, Ludwig?" She asked.

"Nothing! I'm fine!" Ludwig said. "D-Did you need something?"

Wendy stared at her brother and replied, "I was going to ask Jasmine if she'd like to visit the Magma Kingdom with us soon, but… now I wanna know what's wrong with you."

"I just told you, Wendy. I'm fine."

Wendy approached Ludwig. "Seriously, Ludwig. What's wrong? You seem freaked out about something."

Ludwig let out a sigh and stared at the floor.

"…I'm in love with Jasmine." He whispered.

Wendy gasped as she stared at him. Then, she slowly smiled and squealed.

"Yes! Finally! You're admitting it!" She exclaimed.

Ludwig shook his head and looked at his only sister. He sighed again, at a loss for words.

Wendy smiled. "When are you going to tell her?"

Ludwig responded, "I-I… I'm not. Not right now anyway."

Wendy's jaw dropped. "What? Why not?"

"Because I'm not ready to." replied Ludwig.

Wendy frowned. "Oh. That makes sense." She smiled a little. "But, should we still take Jasmine to the Magma Kingdom? I think she'll enjoy it."

Ludwig slowly smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I think she would."

Jasmine headed up to her room, still in disbelief. She whispered to herself, "I love Ludwig…"

Jasmine adjusted her glasses and entered her room. She took her phone out of her pocket after feeling it vibrating. When she looked at it, she saw that she got a text from Wendy. Jasmine sat on her bed and opened the message.

"Hey, Jasmine! We were wondering if you'd like to visit the Magma Kingdom with us sometime."

Smiling, Jasmine replied back, "Sure!"

She placed her phone next to her on the bed and let out a sigh. "I hope I won't act weird around Ludwig now."

Later that day, Jasmine and the Koopas agreed on a day to visit the Magma Kingdom. She smiled to herself as she thought about that realm. Was it as big as the Koopa Kingdom? Who all lived there?

Jasmine grinned as she fell back onto her bed. "I can't wait to see it!"

The day of the visit finally came and Jasmine entered the Mushroom Kingdom. She snuck over to the Koopa Kingdom, where she saw Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings standing outside of the castle with their Clown Cars.

"Hey, guys!" She greeted.

The others said hello back to her.

"Are ya ready to go?" Bowser Jr. asked her.

Jasmine smiled at him. "Yes!"

Ludwig helped Jasmine inside of his Clown Car. Once everyone hopped inside of theirs, they took off. As they flew out of the Koopa Kingdom and through Grumble Volcano, Wendy glanced over at Jasmine. She saw the human girl looking at Ludwig with a soft smile before looking up at the sky.

Wendy softly gasped. "Jasmine…"

Eventually, the group made it to the Magma Kingdom. As she looked around, Jasmine noticed that it looked similar to Darkland like Roy had said before, but it had more lava and magma. They flew through the kingdom, showing Jasmine the towns and cities, like Magmafalls and Infernia. Jasmine found Smolder Springs, the volcanic hot-spring oasis, very stunning. After looking around the kingdom, the group then landed in front of a large castle.

Ludwig helped Jasmine out of the Clown Car and told her, "Since we're here, we thought it'd be nice to let you meet our family."

Jasmine gasped. That's right! Their aunt, uncle, and cousins were the rulers of the Magma Kingdom!

Jasmine grinned. "Yes! I'd love to!"

The two Koopa Troopa guards standing in front of the large doors opened them, letting the group inside. Jasmine smiled, admiring the beautiful paintings on the walls of the hallway. They walked down the hall until they heard voices coming from the throne room. When they entered the throne room, the group saw the extended family talking to each other.

Bowser Jr. grinned. "Auntie!"

The other Koopas fell silent and Clawdeen, Bowser's sister, gasped. They turned to the entryway and smiled at Junior and the Koopalings. As they walked inside, Clawdeen met them halfway and hugged Junior.

"Hello, you guys!" She greeted them. "What brings you all here today?"

Larry gestured to Jasmine. "We were showing our friend Jasmine around the kingdom and we thought she'd like to meet you guys."

Jasmine smiled at them. "Hello. It's so nice to meet you all."

Ludwig smiled at Jasmine, which a few of the kids noticed.

Langston, Clawdeen's husband, returned the smile. "Hi."

The others Koopas introduced themselves to Jasmine. After their introductions, Sandra, the second oldest of their cousins, spoke up.

"Hey, I got an idea! Why don't we hang out in the game room and get to know Jasmine more?" She suggested.

Jasmine said, "Yeah! I'd love to!"

Austin led the group of kids out of the throne room. Alex walked walked next to Ludwig.

"I saw that. She's hot, ain't she?" Alex whispered to him.

Ludwig blushed and looked at Alex, who was now smirking. "W-What?"

Her smirk widened and she remarked, "I saw that smile when you looked at her. You like her, don't you?"

Ludwig's face reddened more. "That's none of your business."

Alex chuckled as Ludwig sped up to get away from her.

The kids had a great time hanging out in the game room. While Jasmine and the others were playing Smash Bros., Alex sat with Wendy, Larry, and a few of her siblings.

"I saw Ludwig smiling at her in the throne room." She whispered to them.

Grinning, Wendy whispered back, "Guess what? A few days ago, Ludwig finally admitted that he's in love with her!"

Sandra said, "Aww, that's so sweet!"

Talisa giggled softly after hearing that.

Austin remarked, "She is pretty."

Later on, the kids agreed to watch a movie. As they sat and waited for it to start, Talisa turned around and looked at Ludwig and Jasmine, who were sitting next to each other, with a smile on her face. Ludwig raised an eyebrow at her and chuckled softly.

"What is it?" He asked.

Giggling, Talisa replied, "You guys look cute together!"

After that, the youngest Koopa child turned back around and looked at the TV. Sandra and Alex chuckled at them. Ludwig's face flushed and Jasmine's heart pounded in her chest. Ludwig glanced over at Wendy, who smiled sheepishly at him.

Ludwig thought to himself, "Why, Wendy? Why did you tell them?!"

With a smile on her face, Jasmine thought to herself, "We look cute together?"

After that, the movie started.

If I have time tomorrow, I'll work on the next chapter!

The Hybrid Village

Here's a new chapter! I hope you enjoy it!

A week later, Jasmine visited Goomba Village while in the Mushroom Kingdom. She waved to Goompa and Gooma, who were outside. As she walked out of the village, her phone vibrated. She pulled it out of her pocket and saw that Iggy had texted her.

"Hey! Are you going to be in the Mushroom World soon?"

Jasmine replied back, "Oh, I'm actually in the Mushroom Kingdom right now."

Iggy immediately sent another text.

"Do you think you'll be able to sneak out of the Mushroom Kingdom?"

"I think so." Jasmine replied back.

A minute later, Iggy said, "Great! We wanna take you somewhere exciting!" Iggy sent another message. "Uh, you can meet us outside of Water Land. Do you know where that is?"

"Yep." Jasmine replied back. "I visited Water Land with Mario and Peach before."

"Excellent! We'll see ya soon!"

Jasmine put her phone back inside of her pocket and smiled. After looking around, she made her way out of the Mushroom Kingdom.

"I wonder where they wanna take me?" She wondered.

Jasmine sat on a rock outside of Water Land. She smiled as she looked up at the sky. The sky was mostly clear, and the air felt wonderful. Then, as she looked up, she spotted Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings flying in their Clown Cars. Her smiling growing, she waved to the Koopas.

They landed their Clown Cars and Ludwig hopped out of his own.

"Hey, guys!" Jasmine said as Ludwig helped her inside of his Clown Car.

Once Ludwig got back inside of his Clown Car, they all flew off.

"So, where are we headed?" Jasmine asked.

Morton grinned. "We're going to take you to Hybrid Hollow!"

Jasmine gasped. "Are you serious?"

Iggy giggled. "Yes!"

Jasmine grinned too. "Oh my gosh! Now I'm really excited!"

Chuckling, Ludwig thought to himself, "Her excitement is adorable."

After flying for a bit, the gang flew near a forest. They lowered their Clown Cars near the trees. As Ludwig helped Jasmine out of the Clown Car, she gasped. Up ahead, she saw houses. Some looked like the homes in Toad Town, while others looked like the normal homes in the other Mushroom and Koopa Kingdom towns. Some even looked like Toad Houses, but with Koopa shell roofs.

As they walked closer, Jasmine saw many hybrids around the village. She saw a Shy Guy/Koopa hybrid sitting against a tree. A Yoshi/Koopa hybrid talked to a Toad/Koopa hybrid. Jasmine saw a group of Human/Koopa hybrid teens laughing together. Some of the teens had normal human skin colors like the other hybrids that she's seen, while the others had golden skin like a lot of Koopas.

"Wow!" Jasmine exclaimed. "This is so amazing!"

Grinning, Iggy replied, "We love coming here!"

A Dragon Koopa woman with short blonde hair and a human man with brown hair waved to the group as the couple walked by them. Jasmine looked around and a large brown house with a red spiky Koopa shell roof caught her attention.

Jasmine pointed toward the house and asked, "Who lives there?"

"The leaders of the village live there." Ludwig answered.

Jasmine smiled. "Oh! Who are they?"

Just then, they heard a female voice say, "Your Majesties!"

The group turned to their left and saw two Human/Koopa hybrids walking towards them. They both have the same brown skin and brown eyes as Jasmine, and they have Koopa horns and a Koopa tail. They also had coily black hair. The woman's hair was pulled back in a low ponytail and she wore a red dress with a black belt adorned with a red jewel. The man wore a magenta shirt with gray at the bottom, a gray belt that had a magenta jewel, gray pants, and black boots.

They walked closer and the woman curtsied to the Koopas.

"Hello!" The woman greeted.

"Are you here for a visit?" The man asked.

"Yes," Ludwig said, "and we brought a friend along." His heart fluttered at that. He gestured to the human girl next to him. "This is Jasmine." He then looked at Jasmine. "Jasmine, this is Lord Xavier and Lady Ember."

Jasmine smiled at them. "Hello! It's nice to meet you guys. This place is incredible!"

Xavier chuckled. "Thanks!"

"How long has Hybrid Hollow been here?" Jasmine asked.

Ember replied, "Um, two years now, I believe."

Jasmine gasped. "Really?"

Xavier nodded. "It's still pretty new."

"What made you guys decide to create a village?" Jasmine wondered.

"Well, we can all sit in our house and Xavier and I will be happy to explain everything." Ember responded.

When everyone entered the large manor, they took a seat in the living room. Xavier and Ember sat across from Jasmine and the Koopa siblings.

Xavier said, "Well, before the village was made, and even after, hybrids most of the time weren't treated the best."

Ember gave a nod. "We're feared and misunderstood in the Mushroom Kingdom and seen as weak in the Koopa Kingdom."

Jasmine frowned. "Oh my god. Are you serious?"

"Sadly, yes." Xavier remarked.

"And some…" Ember gave a tired smile. "don't see us as people at all. Just something unusual. Something to try."

Jasmine shifted awkwardly and replied, "Yeah… I know that feeling." She glanced down at her hands. "When people act like you're some kind of… category instead of a person."

Xavier let out a sardonic chuckle. "Being different makes some people curious in the wrong way."

Bowser Jr. blinked. "Huh? I don't get it. What do you guys mean?"

"You'll understand when you're older." Ludwig quickly said.

Ember giggled at them. Then she said, "Well, before, Xavier lived in the Mushroom Kingdom and I lived in the Koopa Kingdom."

"I used to work in Princess Peach's castle and Ember worked in King Bowser's." Xavier added.

Jasmine grinned. "Wow, that's interesting."

Xavier explained, "We met one day during a kart tournament and quickly became friends!"

"Overtime, we and a few other hybrids and mixed couples were so fed up with how we were being treated." Ember said. "So, one day, Xavier and I got Peach and Bowser together and asked them if us hybrids could have a place to live in peace and to be ourselves."

Then, Xavier added, "The four of us found this empty forest and decided to make the Hybrid Village, or Hybrid Hollow."

Ludwig looked at Jasmine. "The Mushroom Kingdom and the Koopa Kingdom also protect and oversee the village."

Xavier nodded. He added, "Princess Peach and King Bowser also made us the Lord and Lady of the village."

Smiling, Jasmine said, "That's amazing."

I'll work on the next chapter one day next week!

It's You

Happy Mario Day everyone! I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

Xavier and Ember led the group out of the house and gave Jasmine a tour. Jasmine learned that the main rule in the village is no discrimination. As Jasmine waved to a little Human/Koopa hybrid girl, Morton spoke up.

"Oh yeah! There's something we forgot to mention to you, Jasmine. When a mixed couple has a baby, sometimes the baby isn't a hybrid."

"Wait, really?" asked Jasmine.

Iggy nodded and said, "Yeah. For example, if a human and a Koopa have a baby, the baby might be a hybrid. Or, they could come out fully human or fully Koopa!"

Jasmine asked, "So, it's random?"

Ludwig nodded. "Pretty much."

Jasmine adjusted her glasses and looked around. She smiled, seeing a few hybrid children playing with a Yoshi. This was all so incredible! Hybrid Hollow truly was a wonderful place.

Jasmine met a lot of hybrids and mixed couples while in Hybrid Hollow. She smiled to herself. Jasmine hadn't been there that long, but she really loved the village and found the villagers very nice. After showing Jasmine a school and a fountain, Xavier let out a sigh.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, Jasmine. But, Ember and I have some work to do." He said.

With a smile, Jasmine replied, "I'm glad I met you guys."

After saying goodbye, Ember and Xavier walked away.

"Hey," Larry said. "why don't we hang out in the village for a bit?"

"Yeah, I really like this place already!" Jasmine replied.

The rest of Larry's siblings agreed with them.

Bowser Jr. played with two kids, A Yoshi/Koopa hybrid and a Shy Guy Koopa hybrid. Roy arm wrestled with another burly Koopa. Morton sat with a human/Koopa hybrid and watched his older twin's arm wrestling match. Iggy, Wendy, and Larry were resting by a large tree. Lemmy juggled for a few kids, grinning as they laughed and cheered him on. Ludwig and Jasmine headed toward a shop to buy some chocolate bars.

Once they got their candy, the two walked out of the store and sat down on a bench next to each other.

As they ate their chocolate, Jasmine exclaimed, "Chocolate is my favorite candy!"

"Mine too." Ludwig replied.

The two sat in silence after that and looked around at everyone in the village. Ludwig glanced at Jasmine as she took a bite of her candy bar.

Then, Ludwig remarked, "Seriously, Jasmine. I don't know what it is, but… you just look so familiar."

Jasmine swallowed the bite of her chocolate and chuckled. "I wonder who it is that I look like." she then said, "And like I said before, your human form looks so familiar."

"Have you seen anyone in Brooklyn with blue hair like mine?" asked Ludwig.

Jasmine closed her eyes and thought about it. She's seem people with blue hair, but theirs were obviously dyed. Maybe… wait.

"Well, now that I think about it, I kinda remember a little boy." She finally said.

"A little boy?" Ludwig repeated.

Jasmine nodded and opened her eyes. "Yeah. I was little and I was out one day with my dad. My dad was talking to someone and I saw a little boy walking by." Jasmine moved a strand of hair out of her face. "I said hi to him and he said hello." Jasmine glanced at her candy bar and continued. "I told him that his hair looked cool and he had this smug smile on his face when he thanked me."

Ludwig's eyes gradually widened as he listened. After Jasmine told him that the little boy waved at her and walked away, he said, "Oh my gosh."

Jasmine blinked. "What is it?"

Ludwig looked at Jasmine as the memories came flooding back. He then said, "It… it was you."

Jasmine asked, "W… what are you…?"

Ludwig replied, "I was that little boy!"

Jasmine gasped and nearly dropped her chocolate.

"Are you serious…?" She asked him.

Ludwig nodded. He then said, "When I was a kid, I used to disguise myself as a human to go exploring other kingdoms and places." Ludwig glanced at the ground and back at Jasmine. "One day, I really wanted to see the real world, so I used a spell to make myself human and I found the Warp Pipe that lead to Brooklyn." He then said, "I remember walking around the city, and I saw you."

Jasmine stared at the oldest Koopaling, speechless.

Finally, she said, "Oh my god."

Smiling, Ludwig remarked, "No wonder you seemed so familiar! I didn't think I'd ever… run into you again." Ludwig smiled softly. "I remember thinking that you looked nice back then, but you're much more beautiful now." Ludwig's face turned red as he realized what he said. He quickly added, "I-I mean… uh…"

Jasmine smiled, her face growing warm. "Thanks, Ludwig." Jasmine then sighed. "We really met each other that long ago. It's incredible!"

Ludwig said, "Yeah, it is."

The two then went back to eating their chocolate, still in awe of what they found out.

I'll try to post the next chapter tomorrow if I have time!

A Date?

Hey guys! Here's a new chapter :D

"Goodbye, everyone!" Lemmy said, waving to the hybrids.

"We'll visit again soon!" Larry added.

Jasmine and the Koopas hopped inside of the Clown Cars. Once everyone was ready, they lifted off of the ground and flew away from Hybrid Hollow.

Smiling, Jasmine said to them, "The Hybrid Village is great! Everyone's so nice!"

Lemmy giggled. "Yeah! We love visiting!"

They soon make it to Bowser's castle and land their Clown Cars. As they entered the castle, Larry said, "We should chill in the game room."

A few of his siblings nodded. They then made their way to the game room. When they were inside, everyone took a seat. Larry grabbed the TV remote and turned the TV on. A comedy sitcom was currently playing, so the group decided to watch it. Ludwig and Jasmine sat next to each other on the couch.

Ludwig smiled to himself. "I can't believe Jasmine and I actually met as children! That's just… wow!"

Ludwig glanced at Jasmine as she watched the show. His mind went back to his daydream. His cheeks slowly turned pink.

"Going on a date with Jasmine…" Ludwig's eyes widened slightly. "Wait. What if we did go out on a date?"

As he considered it, Ludwig's eyes widened more. His heart pounded in his chest. As the others laughed at a joke, Ludwig began to think to himself again.

"How am I going to ask her with the others here? If I walk out with her, they'll know something's up."

Ludwig watched the show, suppressing a groan.

Later on, Jasmine said goodbye to the Koopa children and left the Koopa Kingdom. Eventually, she returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. Before she could make it to the Warp Pipe, she heard a familiar voice calling out to her.

"Hey, Jasmine!"

"Shoot!" Jasmine muttered. She turned around and smiled. "Hey, Luigi!"

Luigi walked up to her. "I didn't know you were visiting."

Jasmine replied, "Oh yeah. I came to look around the kingdom, but now I have to head home."

"Aw, that's too bad." Luigi remarked. "Well, I guess we'll see you soon!"

Jasmine gave him a nod. "See ya!"

Once Luigi walked farther away, Jasmine let out a sigh of relief and made her way to the pipe.

Once she was back in the real world, Jasmine arrived at her house and walked inside.

"I'm back!" She exclaimed to her parents.

"Did you have fun?" Kiara asked.

Jasmine grinned. "Yep!"

David smiled. "That's good!"

Jasmine then made headed upstairs. She walked past Alvin's room, who was inside coloring. Jasmine sighed as she entered her room and lay down on her bed. Five minutes went by and her phone rang.

"Hm?" Jasmine pulled her phone out of her pocket. It was Ludwig calling her. She answered the call and put her phone to her ear. "Hey, Luddy! What's up?"

Ludwig cleared his throat. "Jasmine, there's something that I wanted to ask you earlier."

Jasmine sat up. "What is it?"

She heard Ludwig inhale deeply. "Is it something serious?"

Finally, Ludwig asked her, "I was wondering if you'd like to… uh, maybe… go out on a date? With me?"

Jasmine gasped, almost dropping her phone. "A-Are you serious, Ludwig?"

"Yes." He replied.

Jasmine slowly smiled. "Yes! I'd love to, Luddy!" She suppressed a chuckle as she heard Ludwig sigh in relief.

"Great!" Ludwig said. "Hmm. Maybe I'll take you to my favorite restaurant in the Magma Kingdom."

"Yeah! That's perfect!" Jasmine answered.

After agreeing on a day, the two said goodbye and hung up. Jasmine squealed, which caught her little cousin's attention.

Alvin ran into her room and asked, "What's wrong, Jasmine?"

Jasmine announced, "I'm going on a date next Saturday!"

"Really? With who?" Alvin wondered.

Jasmine giggled. "Ludwig!"

Hope this chapter was ok! I'll work on the next one tomorrow if I have time

The Burning Sonata

Been busy for two days, but here's a new chapter! And it's finally another longer one :D

Alvin looked at his older cousin and repeated, "Ludwig?" After Jasmine nodded, Alvin asked her, "But… why? Isn't he a turtle thing that breathes fire?"

Chuckling, Jasmine replied, "So? He's a great guy. Plus, humans and Koopas can be together. Remember the kid we saw in the Mushroom Kingdom that time?"

"Ohh yeah." Alvin said. He turned around. "Eh, as long as you and Ludwig have fun, Jazzy."

After that, Alvin went back to his room.

Ludwig sat on his bed and stared at the wall. "I did it." He whispered. "I asked Jasmine out, and she said yes."

Ludwig giggled to himself as he imagined the date. Jasmine was going to have so much fun!

Larry walked by when he noticed he oldest brother giggling to himself. He stopped in his tracks and arched an eyebrow. "Ludwig? What's going on? You're acting like Iggy." Larry blinked. "Er, well, I guess he got it from you."

Once he settled down, Ludwig smiled. "I asked Jasmine to go on a date with me, and she said yes!"

Larry's jaw dropped. "No way… you… GUYS!"

Larry hurried to the game room, with Ludwig following close behind him. The others looked at Larry in confusion. Wendy looked at him and Ludwig.

"Guys, what's wrong?" She asked them.

Before Ludwig could speak, Larry blurted out, "Ludwig asked Jasmine out!"

Wendy and the others gasped.

"Did Jasmine say yes?" Morton wondered.

Ludwig answered, "Yeah, she did."

Wendy squealed, making her brothers cover their ears. She jumped up and rushed over to Ludwig.

"Oh my gosh! This is great!" She cheered. "Where are you going to take her?"

Ludwig replied, "Well, I thought she'd like to visit the Magma Kingdom again and we could go to The Burning Sonata."

Wendy responded, "Oh, that sounds perfect! Jasmine's going to love The Burning Sonata!"

Larry scoffed. "The food's good, but the music… ugh."

Ludwig looked at him. "And what's wrong with the music? I mean, besides the quartet messing up here and there."

"Ludwig, how many times do we have to tell ya? Classical music is sooo boring!"

Ludwig rolled his eyes. "Like I said, besides the quartet sometimes, it's really great."

He smiled to himself, thinking about how much fun he and Jasmine would have.

The following day, Jasmine was visiting the Mushroom Kingdom and hanging out in Toad Town with Toad, Toadette, and a few other Toads. Mario, Luigi, and Peach were on a trip in the Flower Kingdom, but Jasmine missed them by two minutes. Jasmine was surprised at first, but knew that she'd visit that kingdom with them another time. As everyone talked, a thought came to Toad's mind.

"Hey, Jasmine?" He asked. "What happened to your friend that Toadette and I met before?"

Toadette added, "Oh yeah! He seemed nice!"

"Oh, um, I talked to him for a bit when I was in Brooklyn recently. He's a little busy."

Toad grinned. "He should visit sometime. Maybe we all can hang out."

"Hehe. I don't think that'd be possible since he's a Koopa and a part of the Koopa Troop. Especially one of the Koopalings." Jasmine thought.

The days went by and it was finally Saturday. Jasmine was in the kitchen helping Kiara wash the dishes after breakfast. She began to think about her date with Ludwig later today. She's excited, but also a little nervous. Her heart began to race.

Jasmine inhaled deeply. "I need to calm down…"

Kiara looked over at her daughter after drying off a cup and asked, "Are you ok, Jasmine?"

Jasmine nodded. "Yeah. I'm just… thinking about my date with Ludwig later."

Kiara smiled. "Don't worry. You and Ludwig are going to have a good time."

Jasmine returned the smile and began to wash a plate.

Ludwig was in his room, looking through his closet. He mostly wore clothes during his symphonies and royal events. Tonight though, he was going to wear something nice for his date. He looked through his clothes until he found a black suit with a blue tie. Ludwig grabbed the suit and placed it on his bed.

Ludwig thought to himself, "I hope Jasmine will like it."

He sat at his desk and looked through his sheet music. Just then, Larry opened the door.

"Hey, Ludwig!" Larry glanced at Ludwig's bed, seeing the outfit. "Oh, that's what you're wearing tonight?"

Ludwig nodded as he continued to look through his sheet music. "Did you need something, Larry?"

Larry replied, "Nah, I'm just being nosy." He giggled as Ludwig looked over at him with a blank expression.

Once he calmed down, Larry remarked, "Well, I hope Jasmine doesn't cringe at the music tonight."

Ludwig rolled his eyes. "Go to your room, Larry."

Larry chuckled. "Ok fine."

After closing Ludwig's bedroom door, Larry walked down the hall.

Later on in the evening, Ludwig was getting ready for his date. After putting on his suit and tie, Ludwig looked in his mirror to make sure that his hair looked perfect like usual. He picked up his wand and left his room. Before he could make it to the front doors of the castle, he heard a voice say "You look very handsome, sweetie."

Ludwig turned around to see Clawdia. He smiled at her and said, "Oh. Thank you, Mom."

Clawdia then remarked, "Although, I think you're forgetting something."

Ludwig looked at his mother with a perplexed expression. Clawdia took out her wand and waved it, making a bouquet of white jasmines and blue roses appear in her empty hand.

"I'm sure Jasmine will love these." Clawdia stated as she handed Ludwig the bouquet.

Ludwig examined the flowers. "Thank you."

Clawdia smiled. "I hope you two have a wonderful time."

The two said goodbye and Clawdia smiled again as she watched her oldest son walk out of the castle.

Jasmine stood in her room, gazing at her reflection. She was wearing a royal blue knee-length dress that flared softly at the skirt, the light fabric swaying whenever she moved. On her feet were simple black two inch heels.

"Oh wow… I really love this outfit." She whispered to herself.

After putting on some perfume, she left her room and sat in the living room, waiting for Ludwig to arrive. She felt her heart racing again. She took a deep breath, trying to relax.

Two minutes later, Jasmine heard a knock on the front door. David opened the door to see Ludwig on the other side, in his human form. He gave Ludwig a smile.

"Hey there! Come on in, Ludwig!" David said.

Taking another deep breath, Jasmine stood and walked out of the living room. She gave Ludwig a smile. "Hi, Ludwig."

"Hi." Ludwig said as he looked at Jasmine's outfit. The deep blue on her dress almost shimmered under the lights, giving Jasmine a look that felt just a little bit royal. Ludwig cleared his throat and held out the bouquet. "I have something for you."

Jasmine gasped. "Oh, Ludwig! They're beautiful!"

Ludwig blushed. He leaned in and whispered, "Hehe. Not as beautiful as you."

Jasmine also blushed. She thought to herself, "W-Wait! Didn't he say that in my daydream before?!"

Ludwig extended his hand toward her. "Shall we get going?"

Jasmine took his hand. "Of course!"

After saying goodbye to her parents, the two left her house.

In the Mushroom World, Ludwig was back in his Koopa form and he and Jasmine flew into the Magma Kingdom. Eventually, they landed in front of a large cream-colored building. Ludwig helped Jasmine out of the Clown Car and he took her hand. They walked away from the Clown Car and headed towards the restaurant.

"I really like your suit, Luddy. You look great in it!" Jasmine said.

Ludwig reddened. "Thanks." He then said, "You're going to love this place."

Jasmine replied, "Great! I'm excited to try it!"

They then heard a male voice say "Ludwig? Is that you?"

"Oh no…" Ludwig muttered.

"Huh? What's wrong, Luddy?" Jasmine asked.

They turned around to see a Dragon Koopa with golden skin like most Koopas, dark hair, an orange shell with blue rings surrounding the spikes, and two fang-like teeth in the upper corners of his mouth.

Ludwig growled, "Hello, Ludovico…" which made Jasmine more confused.

Ludovico looked at the human girl standing next to Ludwig and softly gasped. "Oh my! Who is this with you? She's very elegant and beautiful!"

Jasmine said, "Hi. I'm Jasmine."

Ludovico took Jasmine's hand and kissed it, making Ludwig growl again. He looked at Jasmine and asked, "So, what brings you here to the Magma Kingdom?"

Ludwig pushed Ludovico away and stood in front of Jasmine. Glaring at him, he exclaimed, "She and I are on a date!"

Ludovico looked at Ludwig and muttered, "With you of all Koopas? Poor girl…" Smiling, Ludovico pushed Ludwig out of the way. He smirked and said, "Well, Jasmine, if you get bored with this Prince, I live near Neo Bowser City."

Jasmine replied, "U-Uh, sure…"

"Why are you even in this kingdom, Ludovico?" Ludwig asked.

Ludovico smirked again. "I was playing my new song in a concert here. The applause I've gotten was much louder than your last symphony."

"Ugh, whatever. Let's go, Jasmine." Ludwig responded.

As they walked away, Jasmine asked, "Who is he exactly?"

Ludwig replied, "That was Ludovico. My rival."

"Rival?" Jasmine repeated.

Ludwig explained, "Yes. We both are very talented musicians, but he believes that he's way better than I am."

"Oh, I see…" Jasmine said. Seeing that Ludwig was still annoyed by his rival, Jasmine smiled. "Well, I don't know what his music sounds like, but yours is the best to me."

Ludwig looked at her and grinned. "Thank you."

After that, they entered the restaurant. Jasmine gasped as they walked enchanted glass with lava flowing inside them. The floors were polished obsidian and they heard the quartet playing music. A female Dragon Koopa with a yellow shell bowed to Ludwig.

"Hello, Your Highness! Your table is ready!"

The Koopa led them to their table by a window and left.

As they sat down, Jasmine exclaimed, "Oh wow! This place is nice!"

Ludwig smiled. "I knew you'd like it!"

Their Koopa Troopa waitress walked over and asked for their drinks. A few minutes later, their sparkling lemonade arrived and they ordered their food. Once the waitress walked away again, the two talked as they waited for their food. A few minutes later, a thought popped into Jasmine's mind.

"Hey, Ludwig? Can I ask you something?"

"Of course." Ludwig said.

Jasmine then asked, "What made you wanna ask me out?"

Ludwig began to blush. "W-Well um…"

Before he could answer, their food arrived. Ludwig sighed in relief and they thanked their waitress. Ludwig ate lobster while Jasmine ate steak. Jasmine chuckled whenever Ludwig cringed at the quartet messing up their own songs.

As they ate, Ludwig thought to himself, "I'm glad she's enjoying the date so far. Maybe… maybe we can go on another soon."

Jasmine took a sip of her sparkling lemonade. "This place is beautiful. I love it! Maybe Ludwig and I can go on another date."

After finishing their dinner, they decided to get dessert. They looked at their menus, trying to figure out what to get. Then, Jasmine's eyes landed on a dessert.

"Oh! They have strawberry shortcake!"

Ludwig asked, "Would you like that?"

Jasmine felt her face growing warm. "Well, I was thinking we could… share it."

Ludwig blushed again. "O-Oh! That's fine."

Ludwig and Jasmine left The Burning Sonata a little while later. While eating the cake, Ludwig blushed as Jasmine decided to feed him the cake, and his face was still a little red. As they flew away from the restaurant and out of the Magma Kingdom, Ludwig turned himself into a human again. They eventually made it to the Mushroom Kingdom and Ludwig landed his Clown Car behind a bush. They went through the Warp Pipe near the tall mushroom platforms and walked out of the cave.

As they left the park, Jasmine said, "Thanks for taking me out tonight, Luddy."

Ludwig replied, "Oh, it's no problem. Even though I got annoyed by Ludovico, I enjoyed being with you."

They both blushed.

Still blushing, Jasmine asked, "Hey, Ludwig? Do you think you'd… wanna go on another date sometime?"

"You want to?" Ludwig asked.

Jasmine smiled. "Uh huh. I had so much fun tonight!"

Ludwig returned the smile. "Sure."

"Great!" Jasmine replied. "Maybe we can go somewhere here in New York!"

"I'd like that."

Ludwig and Jasmine stopped in front of Jasmine's house. Before walking to her door, Jasmine approached and stood in front of Ludwig. Then, she leaned in and kissed him. Ludwig held her close to him and kissed back. When they finally pulled away, they stared at each other, blushing.

Jasmine then said, "Um, I guess I should go inside now."

"Y-Yeah. I should head home now." replied Ludwig.

"Bye, Ludwig." Jasmine whispered.

"Bye." Ludwig said.

He watched as Jasmine entered her house. Once the door closed, Ludwig sighed happily and made his way back to the pipe, the smile still on his face.

That's it for now!

Lewis

My plan was to work on and post this chapter yesterday, but I lost my motivation. But here it is!

The royal Koopa family sat in the dining hall the following day, eating their breakfast. Well, everyone, with the exception of Ludwig. When the others looked at him, they noticed the oldest Koopaling spacing out and smiling. After a moment, Bowser raised an eyebrow as he looked at his son.

"Ludwig? Are you ok?" He wondered.

Ludwig blinked and looked at his father. "Huh? Oh, I'm fine, Dad."

Sighing happily, Ludwig began to zone out once again. This made Bowser raise his eyebrow for a second time.

Clawdia giggled. "He's so in love."

Chuckling, Wendy added, "I guess the date went well."

Later that day, Ludwig was in his room, trying to read a book. Each time he read though, his mind went back to Jasmine. Sighing, he closed the book. He smiled to himself as he thought about their date.

He said to himself, "I'm glad Jasmine had fun yesterday. When should we go on our next date?"

Ludwig lay on his bed and stared at the ceiling as he continued to think about the human girl from New York.

In the Mushroom Kingdom, Jasmine was in Peach's castle with Peach, Daisy, and the Mario Bros. Peach wanted to hang out with everyone and play a few games. When she looked at Jasmine a few times however, she noticed Jasmine zoning out a lot today. The Princess gently tapped Jasmine on her arm, trying to get her attention.

Jasmine looked up at her. "Yes, Peach?"

Peach looked at her with a concerned expression. "Are you alright, Jasmine? You've been acting differently today."

"Yeah." Daisy added. "Is everything ok?"

Jasmine sighed happily. "Oh, I'm alright. I'm just thinking about my date that I went on last night."

"Date!?" The plumbers and princesses exclaimed.

"Oh shoot! Why did I say that?" Jasmine thought to herself.

Peach asked, "You went on a date?"

"Y-Yeah…" Jasmine replied.

"Wow! With who?" asked Daisy.

Jasmine adjusted her glasses. "Oh, um, my friend from New York. Toad and Toadette have already met him once."

Luigi then asked, "What's his name?"

"Alright, Jasmine! Think of a name quick!"

"Oh, his name's… Lewis!" Jasmine finally replied.

Peach remarked, "Well, we all would love to meet Lewis."

"Yeah!" Mario cheered. "I'm sure he's a great guy!"

Just then, Toadsworth, Princess Peach's longtime steward, rushed inside the room and approached the Mario Brothers.

The elderly Toad cried out, "Master Mario! Master Luigi!"

"What's wrong, Toadsworth?" Peach asked.

"Come outside! Quickly! It's one of the Koopalings!" He replied.

Mario exclaimed, "What?!"

The group then ran outside. When they got there, they saw Bob-Ombs falling from the sky. Everyone looked up to see the oldest Koopaling in his Clown Car.

"Ludwig…" Jasmine whispered.

Ludwig looked around until he spotted the group. He felt his heart racing when his eyes landed on Jasmine.

"Ludwig!" Mario shouted. "What are you doing here?"

Pointing at Jasmine, Ludwig replied, "I'm here for her!"

"Huh?!" Jasmine remarked.

She then thought to herself, "The timing couldn't have been more perfect!"

Ludwig flew towards them and snatched Jasmine, putting her inside of the Clown Car.

As they flew away, Jasmine screamed, "Mario! Luigi! Guys, help me!" Once they were farther away, Jasmine let out a sigh. She then looked at Ludwig with a playful smirk. "I guess you wanna hang out?"

Ludwig replied, "Hehe yeah."

"Well, it's a good thing that you "kidnapped" me just now. I have something to tell ya." Jasmine stated.

"Oh? What's that?" Ludwig wondered.

"Well…"

After Jasmine explained everything, Ludwig turned to her with an arched eyebrow. "Lewis?"

Jasmine retorted, "That was the first name I could think of! Hm. Maybe I should've gone with Lucas instead."

"Lucas?" Ludwig repeated.

Smiling, Jasmine responded, "Yeah. I love that name. If I have a son someday, I'd name him that."

Ludwig smiled back at her. After that, he faced forward and headed for the Koopa Kingdom.

Soon, the two made it to Bowser's castle and hopped out of the Clown Car. Jasmine then looked at Ludwig.

"So, what should we do about the others wanting to meet "Lewis"?" Jasmine asked him.

"Well, how about we go somewhere in the Mushroom Kingdom for our date instead of Brooklyn?" Ludwig suggested. "I can still disguise myself as a human and we can talk to them."

"Oh, are you sure, Luddy?" Jasmine asked.

Ludwig replied, "Yes."

Jasmine hugged him tightly and cheered, "Alright! Thanks, Luddy!"

As the two walked inside the castle, they agreed to have their second date a week later at a cafe in Toad Town. While making their way to the game room, Jasmine began to think.

"Hopefully the others will believe us…"

The day of their date finally arrived. Ludwig was making his way to the Mushroom Kingdom, already in his human disguise. Once he made it, he hid his Clown Car in another bush. After hiding it, Ludwig made his way to the mushroom platforms where he saw Jasmine climbing out of the Warp Pipe.

"Hey there!" Jasmine greeted once her feet touched the ground.

Ludwig replied, "Hi. Are you ready?"

Jasmine smiled. "Yep!"

She took his hand and they left the pipe and mushroom platforms.

"So, where should we go first?" Ludwig asked her.

"Well, I guess we—"

"Jazzy!"

Jasmine was cut off by a familiar voice. The two looked toward Peach's castle and saw Daisy standing in front of it.

Jasmine whispered to Ludwig, "I guess we can start with them."

They then walked over to the Princess of Sarasaland.

Inside Peach's castle, everyone took a seat in the living room. Peach looked at Jasmine and her "friend" with a smile.

"So, this is your friend?" She asked.

"Yep!" Jasmine replied. "Everyone, this is Lewis."

Ludwig smiled and said, "Hello. It's nice to meet you all."

"So, how long have you two known each other?" Mario asked.

Jasmine responded, "We met in school. We were in the same English class last year."

Daisy then said, "He's cute, Jasmine." She winked at her, making them both blush.

Jasmine exclaimed, "Daisy!"

Daisy laughed at Jasmine's reaction. Once she calmed down, she looked at "Lewis".

"Hey, Lewis." Daisy began. "You better treat our friend right."

Ludwig then said, "Oh, you don't have to worry, Princess. I will always treat Jasmine with respect and like a queen."

Ludwig took Jasmine's hand and kissed it, making her blush and her heart race.

"Lu… Lewis. W-We should get going now." Jasmine replied, still blushing.

"You guys have fun!" Luigi remarked.

After saying goodbye to everyone, Ludwig and Jasmine left the castle and headed for the cafe.

Later on after finishing their sandwiches and drinks, Jasmine and Ludwig left the cafe.

"Thanks again, Luddy." Jasmine said, a grin on her face.

Ludwig returned the grin. "It's fine."

After leaving the cafe, the two decided to go to a movie theater. As they sat in the theater with their popcorn, Ludwig began to think while waiting for the movie to start.

"When should I tell her?"

There's one more chapter after this! I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, so it probably won't be up until Friday.

Confessions

So, my appointment got cancelled and moved to next Thursday. So here's the final chapter! I hope you all enjoy it!

"You still haven't told her?!" Iggy exclaimed.

As soon as he left the Mushroom Kingdom, Ludwig transformed back into a Koopa and returned to the Koopa Kingdom. Like most days, he and his siblings were lounging around in the game room. Ludwig looked up at his younger brother and let out a sigh.

"No… I didn't think it was the right time." He replied.

Larry smirked at the tallest Koopaling. "You're one to talk, Iggster."

"What are you…?" Realizing what Larry meant, Iggy glared at him. "This isn't about me, Larry!"

Wendy shook her head at them. She placed a hand on Ludwig's shoulder.

"Ludwig, you don't have to be scared."

"I know." Ludwig responded. "I'll tell her soon."

At that moment, a Koopa Paratroopa flew into the game room and looked at everyone with a smile.

"Your Majesties. You have a visitor." He remarked.

"A visitor? Send them in!" Lemmy replied.

The Paratroopa nodded and flew out of the room. Then, the kids saw Jasmine walking inside.

"Hey, guys!" She greeted.

Smiling, Bowser Jr. rushed over to the human girl.

"Hey, Jasmine! Are you going to hang out with us?" Junior asked as he hugged her.

Jasmine smiled and hugged him back. "Of course!"

After letting Jasmine go, Junior then said, "Let's play a game!"

Jasmine replied, "Sure! What game should we play though?"

"We could always play Truth or Dare again." Roy suggested. He laughed when he noticed the annoyed expression on Ludwig's face.

As his face turned red, Ludwig exclaimed, "No! We're not playing Truth or Dare!"

The rest of the boys laughed.

Jasmine chuckled. While smirking, she leaned in and whispered to him, "Y'know, you're cute when you blush, Luddy."

Ludwig's blush deepened. "L-Let's just figure out a game to play!"

Once everyone calmed down, Jasmine and the Koopas agreed to play some video games. Two games that they chose to play were Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Smash Ultimate. Larry won at both games and cheered. Bowser Jr. dropped his controller and pouted.

"Ugh, I'm tired of playing! Why do we even let Larry play?!" He whined.

"Right! He always cheats!" Wendy added.

Iggy stretched his arms. "I'm kinda tired of playing too."

Larry looked at them. "You guys are just mad that you lost!"

"You cheated!" Junior yelled.

Larry laughed. "No I didn't!"

As his siblings continued to argue, Ludwig leaned over to Jasmine.

"Hey. Would you like to hear me play a new song?" He whispered to her.

"Sure."

The two stood up and quietly slipped out of the game room.

Jasmine smiled as she listened to the song that Ludwig played on his piano. Now, all of Ludwig's songs sounded beautiful, but this one? This might've been his best piece. Well, in Jasmine's opinion anyway.

Pretty soon, Ludwig stopped playing and the song ended. As they turned to look at each other, Jasmine cheered.

"I really loved it, Luddy! This might be your best one!"

Ludwig replied, "Hehe. I knew you would." He chuckled. "For some reason, I wanted this piece to sound like a love song."

Jasmine smiled at him. "Well, I think you nailed it!"

Ludwig felt his cheeks growing warm.

"Ok. Maybe I should tell her now." He thought.

Ludwig took a deep breath. "Jasmine, there's something I need to tell you."

Jasmine replied, "Really? What is it, Luddy?"

The Koopaling took her hand and stared at her, his face turning red again. Finally, Ludwig said, "Jasmine, I… I… I love you!"

Jasmine stared at him, surprised by what she heard. Her face began to get hot. She finally found her voice a minute later. "R-Really?"

"Y-Yes." Ludwig confessed. "I've felt this way for some time now. I can't get you out of my mind, my heart races and my face gets red when I'm around you or even when I'm thinking about you!"

"Ludwig…" Jasmine whispered.

He then said, "I've tried to deny it so many times, but I can't anymore. I really am in love with you, Jasmine."

Jasmine continued to stare at Ludwig, still in shock and disbelief. Then, she pulled the oldest Koopaling into a hug.

"Oh, Ludwig! I feel the same way!" She said.

Ludwig gasped. "Really?"

Jasmine replied, "Yes! I noticed it sometime after I made that drawing of you. I didn't want to admit it to myself. I even tried avoiding visiting you guys because of it. I love you, Ludwig. And I'm so happy to hear that you felt the same. I just…" Jasmine hugged him again.

Ludwig scratched the back of his head. "So, um, Jasmine. Since we both feel the same, would you like to be my…"

Before he could finish his question, Jasmine kissed Ludwig. Ludwig's eyes widened, but he kissed her back. The two pulled away a minute later.

Jasmine then said, "Yes! I'll be your girlfriend!" Jasmine's smile then fell. "But, I dunno about Mario and the others. They'd probably freak out if they found out that I'm dating one of their enemies."

Smiling, Ludwig replied, "That's ok. We can keep it a secret for as long as you want." He kissed Jasmine's cheek.

Then, the couple heard a voice say, "He did it!"

They turned to the entrance of the ballroom to see Wendy grinning at them. Larry walked over to her, smirking. The rest of Ludwig's siblings then entered the ballroom.

Ludwig shouted, "H-How long have you guys been standing there!?"

"Not that long." Wendy answered.

Iggy then added, "We were curious to see if you'd tell her or not."

Jasmine laughed and gave Ludwig another hug. She whispered, "I love you, Luddy."

Smiling at her, Ludwig said, "I love you too, Jasmine."

And that's it! It is a step up from past versions of this story, but I do feel like this fic could've been a little better. But I do hope you all liked it! Now I'll be focusing on "A New Home, A New Heart". Idk if I'll have time to write the next chapter for that story tomorrow since I'll probably be out with my aunt and cousin, but I'll try to write it soon!

I hope you all have a great day today :D
