Iggy's First Date

Hi everyone! I wasn't sure what to write about next, but I thought about writing another story about Iggy x Tiana. This story takes place after "Iggy's First Kiss Remake", so if you haven't read that yet, you should read that one first and then come back to this story :) Also, I said this in "A New Baby Redux, but in case you haven't read that, Tiana is not me. She originally started out as a self insert when I was younger, but she quickly becmae her own character. And I just use her name as my username cuz I like it. Well, I hope you all enjoy it!

It's been two weeks since Iggy and Tiana had their first kiss and became a couple. The two 13 year old Koopas were extremely happy now after finding out how they both felt about each other. Some of their siblings would tease them about it, but they would do their best to ignore them. Tiana and Iggy were in Iggy's room studying for a few tests that were coming up. Tiana was confused with the math questions, but Iggy was happy to explain it to her.

Once they were finished studying, Tiana had to go home. She gave Iggy a kiss and left the castle. Once Tiana was gone, Iggy sighed happily as he leaned against the front doors of the castle.

"Aww! You two are adorable together!" Iggy looked up and saw his younger sister Wendy smiling at him. Iggy looked away, feeling embarrassed.

"Y-Yeah, I guess so." He mumbled. As Wendy walked closer to him, a thought came to her.

"Hey Iggy? How come you and Tia haven't gone on a date yet?" She asked.

"What do you mean? We've gone on a few dates since we got together." Iggy replied.

"Really? Where?" Wendy wondered.

"We've had study dates here or at her house." Iggy smiled, making Wendy scoff.

"Iggy, that's boring! You guys should be having fun! Like having a romantic picnic or something!" Wendy exclaimed.

"Wendy, we have so many tests next week that we gotta study for. I can't think about that stuff right now. Plus, I-I've never been on a date before. I don't know what to do." Iggy explained.

"Don't you want to do something fun with Tiana?" She asked.

"Well, yeah." Iggy replied. The siblings were quiet for a moment. Finally, Iggy sighed and gave Wendy a small smile.

"After we get through these tests, I'll ask Tia out."

A week later, Tiana sighed as she walked out of her math class and made it to her locker. The bell rang and school was finally over, which she was very grateful for. After putting her things into her bag, she closed the locker and was surprised to see Iggy standing near her.

"Iggy! Hi honey!" Tiana smiled.

"Hey Tia!" Iggy smiled back and held her hand as they walked out of the school.

"Would you like me to walk you home?" He asked.

"Sure! Thanks!" Tiana replied. As the couple walked farther away from their school, Iggy thought back to his conversation with Wendy. Taking a deep breath, he looked over at Tiana.

"Hey Tia?" He began.

"Yes, Iggy?" She asked. The two stopped walking and stood near a tree.

"Um, I was wondering. S-Since we're dating now, why don't we, y'know, go on a… D-Date?" Iggy asked, his face now red.

"O-Oh! I'd love to, Iggy!" Tiana replied, also blushing.

Iggy smiled brightly. "Great! Why don't we do something this weekend?"

"Ok! What should we do?" Tiana asked.

"Hmm," Iggy thought for a moment. "We could go to a water park! That'd be fun!"

"Yeah! I can't wait!" Tiana cheered.

The weekend finally arrived and Tiana made her way to Bowser's Castle. She saw Iggy outside along with his parents, Bowser and Clawdia, inside of Bowser's Clown Car. Iggy greeted Tiana and helped her inside of the Clown Car. Once he hopped inside, Bowser took off.

"So, what water park are we going to?" Tiana asked.

"There's a new one in Serene Isles that recently opened." Clawdia replied.

"Wait… Serene Isles?" Iggy asked. He and Tiana looked at each other, a little worried.

"Um, King Bowser? W-Weren't you planning on taking over that kingdom?" Tiana asked.

"Hahaha! Don't worry! I'll invade the kingdom another time. You two can have fun today!" Bowser explained, making the two relax.

Soon, the four Koopas arrived at the beautiful and sunny island. Iggy and Tiana gasped in amazement as they looked around. Once they landed, and everyone got out of the Clown Car, a few nearby islanders saw them and screamed in terror.

"Koopas!" A man yelled.

"It's Bowser! Run for your lives!" A woman screamed as she grabbed her baby.

"Wait! It's alright!" Clawdia yelled, but none of the islanders listened and continued to run and scream.

"Everyone calm down!" They heard a voice yell. A few people moved out of the way as a young girl, around 15 years old, walked over to Bowser and the others.

Bowser stared at her for a moment. The girl had a gold crown on her head with two pearls on each side and a seashell in the middle of it. She had brown skin, blue eyes, wore pearl earrings, and a purple dress with a seashell brooch. Her black hair was in long twists coming down on her right side. Bowser then spoke to her.

"So, you must be Princess Summer, ruler of Serene Isles?" He asked her.

"Yes, I am. And you're King Bowser, ruler of Darkland. I hope you're not here to cause trouble." Summer said.

"No no! We're here because my son and his girlfriend want to go to the new water park for their first date." Bowser replied.

"Ugh Dad, did you really have to bring up that it's our first date?" Iggy asked, now feeling embarrassed.

"Princess, you have my word that we won't cause any trouble." Bowser said, ignoring Iggy's question.

Princess Summer stared at the four Koopas for a moment. After thinking about it, Summer nodded and turned to face her subjects and the tourists.

"Everyone, don't worry! Everything will be fine! Let's treat King Bowser and his family with respect." Summer said. The others were still unsure, but they listened to the princess. She looked back at the Koopas and gave a small smile.

"I hope you all have a fun time here!" Summer smiled and walked away. One of the guards ran towards the princess as she sat near the ocean.

"Princess? Should we still keep an eye on them?" The guard asked.

"Um..Maybe not the girlfriend. She seems like a sweet girl. But, probably the family." Summer replied.

Iggy and Tiana made their way to the water park while Bowser and Clawdia decided to relax on the beach. The two teens grinned as they finally arrived. They saw many people swimming in the pools, small children and their parents playing at the water playground, and others having fun near the splash pads.

"What should we do first?" Iggy asked.

"Oh! The water slide looks fun! Plus, one leads to the pool, so we can swim too!" Tiana replied.

"Alright!" Iggy took her hand and the two ran towards the ladder leading to the slide.

Iggy and Tiana were having a great time. They were laughing and smiling while swimming in the pool and throwing a beach ball to each other. After having fun swimming, the two left the pool, dried off, and left the water park. They went to the beach and saw Bowser and Clawdia resting. Clawdia looked at them and smiled.

"Hey you two! Are you hungry?" She asked.

"A little." Tiana replied. Tiana giggled as she heard Iggy's stomach rumble.

"How about we get something to eat now." Bowser helped Clawdia stand up and the four went to one of the restaurants in the kingdom.

The four made it to a seafood restaurant and the waiter took them to their tables. Iggy and Tiana sat at a table near the window while Bowser and Clawdia sat at a table in front of theirs. After ordering their food and drinks, Iggy and Tiana talked as they waited.

"I'm having a great time, Iggy!" Tiana said.

"I'm glad. I'm having a great time too!" Iggy replied. Tiana smiled and looked out of the window.

"Serene Isles is a beautiful place."

"Yeah. I hope my dad doesn't destroy it too much when he takes it over." Iggy whispered, but loud enough for Tiana to hear.

"When does he plan on doing it?" She asked.

"Not sure. Right now he's focusing on the Mushroom Kingdom." Iggy replied.

Soon their food and drinks arrived and the Koopas began to eat.

The four Koopas left the restaurant after eating. It was getting late, so it was time to go home. As they made their way to the Clown Car, Iggy noticed a Fire Flower in the grass. He quickly grabbed it and helped Tiana get inside of the Clown Car. Once everyone was inside, they left Serene Isles. Iggy looked at his parents and making sure they weren't paying attention, he put the Fire Flower in Tiana's hair, making her smile.

Bowser noticed this out of the corner of his eye and smirked. Soon they made it back to the Koopa Kingdom and flew towards Tiana's house. Once they landed, Iggy and Tiana hopped out of the Clown Car. He took her hand and the two walked to her home.

"Thanks for taking me on our date, Iggy. I had fun." Tiana smiled softly.

"I had fun too." Iggy replied.

"Well, I guess I'll talk to you later." Tiana said.

"Yeah. See ya." Before Iggy walked away, Tiana gave him a kiss on the cheek, making them both blush.

"Bye Iggy!" She said.

"Bye Tia!" He replied. Tiana then walked inside of her house and closed the door. Iggy turned around and headed back to the Clown Car where he saw Clawdia smiling at him and Bowser chuckling.

"Guys, please!" Iggy said, his face even redder. He got inside of the Clown Car and the three flew back to the castle.

I feel like this story could've been a little better, but I hope you all enjoyed this!
